Reviewed Jan 17, 2026The pool had a TV and it was nice to watch from the hot tub. They have a BBQ area for guests to use.
The suite was pricey but I gambled it would be worth the money. The bathroom was very worn looking. There wasn’t enough counter space to make more than a cup of coffee. I am used to having a usable kitchen. There was a huge desk that belongs in a college dorm room. It may well have been their intention as the futon was the most uncomfortable unit to sit and watch a movie. It stopped at my shoulders and my legs were too long to sit and I am 5”3. My poor husband had a back ache. With no kitchen to work in and no sofa area to watch tv you might be better to sleep in your car.

We got an excellent room upgrade and were greeted by the GM. The gym is good. There’s a pool and a hot tub. Breakfast is included. It has laundry service and is close to lots of restaurants.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Loved our stay here. Me and my friend met in the middle in Red Deer to give our kids a few days to spend together before school starts and they had a blast. The two bedroom suite was perfect! Full kitchen was such a great thing to have. Location was perfect as we hopped on the highway and went to Sylvan and Canyon. Staff were awesome. Hotel was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was great each morning. 5 stars across the board!

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025We had a stalker who was watching us from the gym while we were in the hot tub. He timed it so he would go up the elevator with us but we reported it to the front desk instead of riding up with him. We were terrified & it ruined our two night stay. The front desk was alerted but did not seem terribly concerned. It was a sister weekend to visit Aunts after the funeral of our other sister. We should not have had to worry about the creepy stalker during this emotional time for us. None of us slept. It ruined our weekend.

The room was a bit smaller than expected and the hide a bed although brand new was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. When we got blankets out for the hide a bed there was a big wad of hair in the blanket, so sanitation was questionable. The pool area was not attended to very well and had wet towels and customer food plates all over the tables. Broken water ballons in the hot tub and guest with glass bottles in the pool. Seemed to be no supervision or control of that area. Went for breakfast at 9 am and there was no coffee, no eggs. Had alternate choices and waited 30 minutes and there was still no coffee or eggs. Young lady was working hard in that area but similar to the pool the tables were no cleared and was a very messy area. I know this is on the guest to put their plates and cups away but in the event they do not, it becomes the hosts responsibility to keep it cleared. We had booked for 2 nights but left after 1 due to all of the above.

We stayed du to a tournament and our child barely got any sleep due to the noise. We own a volleyball club and guarded we will never stay here.

The stays in Radium Hot Springs and Golden were in condominium/town house type properties (not comparable). The Marriott in Red Deer was our favorite compared to the other three. It was fantastic!

Reviewed Sep 14, 2023If noise from suites around you bothers you, do not stay here. We had a 2 bedroom suite (which was lovely) but our trip was ruined by the family staying above us. We couldn't sleep until their little kids finally stopped running, yelling, and crying at around 2 am every morning. We could hear every word anyone said, we could hear which shows they were watching on the TV, and we always knew which room they were in by the sound of their footsteps. I have never experienced such terrible soundproofing in a hotel before, and of course this was the time we had a family upstairs that let their young kids cry and scream all night long while they blasted the TV to drown out the sound of their own kids. We were exhausted due to no sleep. The breakfast was pretty much the same thing every morning and it was not very good. I enjoyed the oatmeal though so I tried to stick with that. The coffee made me feel ill it was so bad. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. And our room was really great but unfortunately it was not enjoyable due to all the noise.
