Latroupe Poblenou Beach

This is a perfect place! Even though I have been staying there in a mixed room with 8 people, everything was great. The location is ideal if you like going to the beach. Lots of nice cafes nearby, benches in alleys to sit and just smell that perfect breezy air. The staff was great. Didn't get the names, but I remember a blonde young lady and a tall young man wearing glasses. Reception and cleaning staff, everybody was very nice and friendly.

I understand, that there are many people there, especially with full 8-10 people rooms, but still the room cleaning might have been a little bit more often. Sometimes it was dirty there, but not always. The kitchen appliances in the kitchen need some mending :) Especially frying pans and blunt knives. But overall it was not bad.

The room and bed were pretty good, and the bed was really comfortable. The curtains around the bed were also great for keeping the light out at night. But none of this matters as internet does not work and the showers were pretty bad. More details below.

I’m honestly not sure why this hostel is rated so highly. I stayed for 2 nights, and on both nights the WiFi didn’t work at all, so I had to rely on my mobile data. I complained both times, but the receptionist just apologised and said there was nothing they could do. The common showers on the second floor were in really bad condition. The ceiling was damaged and constantly dripping water onto the floor, and there was standing water in all the showers. I accidentally dropped an item of clothing on the shower floor and had to throw it away because of how unhygienic and dirty the floor was. Two of the six showers were out of order, and the drains throughout the hostel seemed to be blocked. The sink drains were blocked too, so even just turning on the tap to wash your face would leave the water collecting in the sink. I can’t comment on the female showers, but the men’s showers definitely need to be closed and completely renovated. The toilets on the second floor were clean, but 2 of the 4 stalls were out of order. I also contacted Booking.com customer support about these issues, but I still haven’t heard back from them.

The staff is exceptional, the location is perfect in which you could reach the beach in 5 min walking. If you want to go to the center of Barcelona, the metro station is 10 min away or you could have fun and rent a bicycle (15 min ride to the center). The breakfast was good, various choice of food, the Buffet space was very clean and organised thanks to the lady in charge.

The showers are a bit older but since they are always clean, then it shouldnt be a big problem.

I came to this hostel last year, and it was the best thing in Barcelona. I enjoyed it very much, and everything was good. But my stay this year was exhausting. Most of the showers do not work, and the ones that do work only work partially. Water was dripping from the ceiling, and it was not known whether it was clean water or sewage water. The bed I had was full of dust inside, and its walls were full of dirt. The locker as well, and the corner of the room was full of dirt and dust throughout my entire stay. The furniture in the lounge was very worn out, and the sofa was broken and full of dirt. And when you want to ask for something from the reception, you need to wait for more than ten minutes because there is always only one person there. Sleeping in the room in the evening was very difficult because the weather was very hot, even though I asked the reception to turn on the air conditioning, but to no avail. I could not even sleep on the last day. In addition, I was robbed twice in three days during my stay. It was a catastrophic experience, and unfortunately, I will not repeat the experience.

Lo unico que no me gusto es que las señoras de la limpieza cuando hacen su trabajo ,no guardan silencio y molestan a los clientes,estan todo el rato hablando y a un tono que hay gente durmiendo y se oye tanto desde dentro como desde fuera.

Staff was absolutely brilliant throughout - from the initial contact via booking.com, greeting at the hostel, guiding, answering all my questions, being extremely accommodating, professional, friendly, cheerful; to the great checkout.

Very minor and absolutely wouldn't stop me from coming back - some showers and patio floor could do with some tlc

The place was great, I have spent weeks there. The vibes were very friendly and welcoming. Staff was very helpful, kind and social, particularly Sophia. She offered help in finding cool places to visit, and she was very helpful in doing new reservations while keeping the same room, in addition to make you feel home every day and morning.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, besonders Sophia, die bei meiner Ankunft, mit ihrer offenen freundlichen Art direkt dafür gesorgt hat, dass ich mich willkommen fühle😀 Das Hostel ist außerdem super gelegen, da es nur wenige Fussminuten zum Strand sind. Und auch sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ganz unkompliziert mit der Metro zu erreichen.

Leider war es für meinen Geschmack sehr schmutzig und es fehlen überall Möglichkeiten um beispielsweise Handtücher oder Kleidung aufzuhängen.

Auberge de jeunesse située à moins de dix minutes à pied de la plage. Le quartier est très agréable et facilement relié au centre grâce au métro. Les équipements sont de bonne qualité et les lits sont équipés de rideaux ocultants. Le petit-déjeuner est absolument parfait et ressemble en réalité à un brunch.

La climatisation dans les douches des hommes est excessive. On croirait entrer dans une chambre froide.

Meine erste Hostel Erfahrung und ich fand es Mega! Ja die duschen waren nicht so geil, aber es hat voll gereicht. Hatte so eine tolle Zeit, immer wieder gerne 🥰

주방이 있어서 요리해 먹을 수 있어서 좋았어요. 먹을 수 있는 공간도 넉넉했고요. 파라솔을 빌릴 수 있어서 바르셀로네타 해변에서 잘 사용했어요. 해변 근처 숙소라 아침에 일어나서 바닷가 산책할 수 있어 좋아요.

카드키를 안 가지고 나와서 방 안의 누가 열어줄 때까지 기다려야 했는데 이건 뭐 어쩔 수 없죠. 샤워실이 숙소 아래층에 있는데 이것도 알고 갔어요. 샤워기 헤드 물줄기가 좀 이상한 것들이 있어 아쉬웠어요.

Ensuite bathroom shower was broken, very dirty, toilet paper on the floor getting wet. Id advise them to clean up private toilets in dorms and make sure it’s functional. 4 beds room was very small.

Стандартная ночлежка, чуть дальше от главных улиц города. Вкусный и питательный завтрак. Есть локеры для багажа. Есть лифт. Душевые на отдельном этаже. Кондиционеры работают хорошо. Местоположение хорошее, близко метро, недалеко до пляжа.

Поддержание чистоты после пользования умывальников, душей жителями недостаточна. Размеры и скосы боксов для сна очень уж непродуманы, можно травмироваться. Интернет мог бы быть быстрее

El hostel se encontraba bien ubicado, a pie podías llegar a la playa sin problemas. Ofrecían servicio de sombrillas y también tienen lavadero. Las instalaciones impecables, los baños y duchas siempre limpios, buena climatización de los ambientes. La cocina espaciosa y con todo lo necesario para poder preparar la comidas. El personal muy amable y atento. Si volviera a Poblenou, me alojaría nuevamente sin dudarlo.

Good location, close to the beach. A simple but not bad breakfast

- The air conditioner in the room was not working. It was constantly hot, and it was simply impossible to stay in the daytime. I asked to check it, but nothing has changed. - The wifi was constantly falling off. I rarely worked for more than 15 minutes and had to confirm the connection again. - None of the hostels have ever asked me for money to rent a lock on a locker or to leave my things, if you arrived before the check-in, it's all paid here.

Qualité Des chambres : matelas de qualité, linge propre, rideaux, prises, éclairage, tablette, casier fermable par cadenas, propreté, clim. Espace lounge, cuisine et réceptions cosy et belle déco.

Propreté des douches et sanitaires. Personnel peu aimable. Équipements sanitaires hors services. Trop cher.

The staff were welcoming and supportive throughout the stay. It was very much a bonus having a kitchen, which was maintained well along with the other facilities.

At times the air conditioning in the room was either not on or faulty - at these points it made resting uncomfortable/difficult. This issue was only temporary.

I really enjoyed my stay at Latroupe Poblenou Beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very close to the beach. The location is excellent and only a short walk from the metro station, which made it very easy to explore Barcelona. I would especially like to thank Mohamed for his kindness, professionalism, and helpful attitude during my stay. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

This was one of the best hostels i‘ve ever visited. And i’ve travelled a lot! It was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast good, location amazing, all the facilities you need, comfy beds, working AC and good curtains. They cleaned the roome every day and the shower twice!

I loved how friendly the staff were. They were always smiling and happy to help with anything. Specially Tom 😊 It's also a great place to socialise with other travellers. If you spend some time in the dining area, someone will almost always come over for a chat. I met some really interesting people there, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are small, but the beds are really comfy. 👌 I will come back!

The bathrooms could do with a bit more attention. Most of the time they were clean, and I often saw the cleaners doing a great job. However, because there are so many guests and not quite enough toilets, you could sometimes come across some unpleasant surprises.

Very much a backpacker hostel with a wide range of events for socialising, a big kitchen with plenty of higher end utensils for cooking. Great location, 5-10mins from the beach, and in a less touristy part of Barcelona, with a decent connection into the centre if needed. Staff were awesome humans who were very well informed and happy to help. The Room was small and cramped, but the beds were comfy as hell. I would recommend for a group of friends going away for a few days to explore the city and perhaps a solo traveller looking to meet people on the road, however if you're needing to work remotely or have space for yourself, this perhaps isn't the hostel for you.

My locker was broken, not fully, but it didn't give me the confidence to store my valuables. the dormitories were cramped, even for a six berth there was barely space to put a bag. The common area was a decent size, however due to the social leanings of the hostel, music played loud and activities such as beer pong took precedence. This meant that there wasn't a quiet space to work or make calls.

スタッフがフレンドリーでした。チェックイン前に荷物を入れるロッカー(有料)、洗濯機(アプリ使用、有料)、ラウンジを使わせてもらえて助かりました。ドライヤーはシャワー室に一つだけど、パワーが強いです。いくつかシャワー室の水道が使えないところがあったけど問題ありませんでした。タオルや南京錠は持ってきましたが、有料で貸してくれるみたいです。 広いキッチンは使いやすく、キッチン用品もいろいろと揃っています。 ポブレノウビーチが近くて、朝や夜20：00以降の散歩には快適でした。夜まで賑わっているビーチです。 全体的に若い人が多い印象でした。 立地は観光地から2〜3km離れていて戻ってくるとホッとする場所になりました。1kmくらい離れたところにカルフールなどが入ったショッピングモールがあります。宿のすぐ近くには市場、カフェ、レストランがあり賑わっています。 施設をきれいに保つよう心がけているスタッフの姿がありました。

ちょうどサッカーで盛り上がる時期や学生が卒業する時期と重なり、夜中まで賑やかでした。問題はなかったですが参考までに。

My dorm was really noisy this visit. But that’s not the hostels fault, we just all had different sleep schedules.

Molt net, ben climatitzat i amb un bon espai de menjador/cuina. Bona atenció, ambient i gent respectuosa dins les habitacions. La ubicació al Poble Nou / Sant Martí prop del Parc del Fòrum i Razzmatazz, Parc de la Ciutadella, a 7’ de la platja.

La majoria de recepcionistes no dominen o entenen el català. Per sort, un d’ells l’està aprenent. Sorprèn que algú d’origen musulmà parli i entengui millor el català que els altres recepcionistes europeus i llatinoamericans. Caldria posar un codi o facilitar la seguretat dels calaixos sota les lliteres. Per sort a recepció van ser molt amables i em van deixar un candau.

Eu adorei quase tudo, muito confortável, bem localizado, pessoal legal (funcionários e clientes), limpo, cozinha adequada, bem agradável e eu voltarei com certeza!

Só uma questão é que o chuveiro não estava funcionando bem, precisa de reparos, assim como o chão do box do chuveiro e um vazamento que deixa o chão de fora do box molhado também.

Tenia AC, era lindo y comodo, todos muy amables.

They clean the place all the time! The facility is easy going! Very social and I made tons of friends there! There's always someone behind the counter (24h) Staff is S tier, they are super nice and reasonable!

Guys just be honest about the residential fee, you HAVE to put it in the price for real, it looks very dishonest to charge it (it was like 50€) charging the fee when you just get there gives really a bad impression on the first day. Was unfortunate that the AC didn't worked on room most of my stay :'), but I don't want too much blame on the staff, it's always hard to get proper technicians in this season. Another thing is y'all should fix the cousins in the main hall, many people comes and go, they get used very fast, but still it's worth to fix them asap as they can get a bad view of the hall looking at some of them half destroyed, first impression is everything.

Mi experiencia fue decepcionante. Al hacer la reserva en Booking, la aplicación solo me ofreció una habitación “solo para hombres”, por la que pagué un precio superior al de una habitación mixta. Sin embargo, al llegar al hospedaje descubrí que no existen habitaciones exclusivamente para hombres; todas son mixtas. Pagué más por un servicio que en realidad no existe y nadie me ofreció una solución ni el reembolso de la diferencia. Quiero destacar también que la recepcionista (una mujer) tuvo un trato hostil y poco cordial durante mi estadía. Hacía sentir que atender a los huéspedes era una molestia. En contraste, los demás miembros del personal, especialmente los chicos, fueron muy amables y respetuosos, por lo que el problema no fue el equipo en general, sino la atención de la recepcionista. Además, en el segundo piso hay solo dos baños para 21 habitaciones, lo que resulta claramente insuficiente y genera esperas frecuentes. En mi opinión, la relación calidad-precio no es buena. Espero que los dueños revisen la información publicada en Booking y la calidad de la atención en recepción, ya que estos aspectos afectan significativamente la experiencia de los huéspedes.

Localização próxima às praias e diversos comércios, e a uns 500m do metrô. Ótima equipe, bastante atenciosos.

Quarto bem frio (em pleno verão foi necessário dormir com edredon) e pequeno para 4 pessoas. Gaveteiro para guardar coisas sem tranca, beliche difícil para subir, não era possível fixar a ducha do banho.

The location of this hostel was great. The staff were kind and attentive most of the time. And the public space was well put together.

When we arrived our beds were made and “ready” for us but it was not entirely clean. There were hairs, and dirt and fingernail clippings in our beds. The showers and bathrooms never really felt clean. I understand it’s hard to keep this kind of stuff clean when you have a bunch of 20-something’s staying together, but our beds could’ve been cleaner when we arrived, and the bathrooms just felt gross the whole time. The laundry rarely worked correctly. I spent over 40€ on laundry during my stay because it continued to shut off mid cycle and I would have to pay. There were only 2 sets of machines, and people would take your laundry out to start theirs.

The location is great, the lounge/breakfast area is really nice.

The place is not clean. I understand that every experience is individual, but I have been to more than 30 albergues in Spain and it was the first time I skipped brushing my teeth in the bathroom because I could not stand looking to the sink dirtiness. If you have 2 toilets and two sinks for mixed genders in the room’s floor for all guests to share, you need to clean it more than once a day. Yes, there is another toilet in another floor, still not enough for all the guests. Shower area was a bit better, although 2 of the 5 taps were not working. I have low expectations about cleanliness in hostels, but that was lower than that. Also is not a place for sleep, no rules or respect for noise, guests bring the party to the room. If you plan to hang out with other tourists and go partying and don’t care about cleanliness and sleep at all, you will be fine.

Me vino genial la ubicacion, cerca de la playa y a 20 minutos del cruilla donde fui. El area comunitario de la planta baja es muy agradable y el aire acondicionado me salvo la vida en plena ola de calor.

Los baños sucios, entiendo que es dificil cuando los comparte tanta gente quizas deberian replantearse añadir baños que comparte menos gebte para mejorar la higiene. La cama cuando llegue parecia no estar echa la funda de la almohada del reves y el edredon echo un burruño a los pies de la cama.

Staff was really nice. Have additional storage rooms and multiple toilets. Bed was comfortable. Also breakfast place.

Bathrooms and toilets can be a bit cleaner. No locks for the storage below bed but you can ask fot it.

I didn’t like the fact that the hairdryers were so old one barely worked! Also I had an emergency and they don’t think to have any kind of sanitary items like pads or tampons in the toilet or even in the front desk in case. Night events were not organised properly and everything was rushed. But overall was fun.

Jugendherbergscharakter ohne Komfort. Handtücher wurden noch nicht einmal bereitgestellt, dass man sie hätte für einen finanziellen Obulus kaufen können.

Hyvä sänky ja laatikko tavaroille. Huone oli lukossa ja toimi kulkukortilla. Huoneessa oli mukavan viileää, vaikka ulkona oli todella kuuma. Mahdollisuus pestä ja kuivattaa pyykkiä. Hyvä aamupala. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Kiva sijainti lähellä rantaa ja metroasemaa.

Kuuden hengen huone oli tosi pieni. Jos avasit säilytyslaatikon, ei kukaan päässyt kulkemaan sen ohi. Sängyn yhteydessä oli kovin vähän hyllytilaa. Myös suihkuun olisin kaivannut hyllyä tavaroille. Paikka kaipaisi muutenkin remonttia (rikkinäisiä ovia yms.).
