Location was fantastic, staff so so friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast. Great value. Loved our stay
No complaints what so ever
Excellent service. Extremely clean and cosy.
Need a lift 😄
All of it
Nothing
Staying in Roscommon was a mistake. It was very dull for us as tourists. The hotel was old and the room was dated and not that comfortable.
The rooms could have been much more modern , light and inviting.
Great location & breakfast was very good. Very friendly helpful staff
Bedroom had no black out blinds.
Lovely Hotel with a soul. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Very clean everywhere, comfy beds and pillows. Good size room and bathroom for family room. No problem to stay with dog, even have him with us for the breakfast. Hotel is placed right on the middle of town, small park beside for dog walks too. Free car park at the hotel and the reception let us to leave the car after checking out for another while. Just perfect!
Even tho we loved the breakfast as everything was really tasty and fresh, I personally rather have a bigger choice. They had a few options in the card and no one left hungry, but I always looking forward to this table of choice. It gives you a special feeling being away.
Breakfast
Good location and friendly staff.
Having to leave!
Old style hotel in town center with annexed restaurant. Breakfast a la cart, no buffet (wonderful croissant but only on sunday).Parking facilities for impaired people only at the moment (read the confirmation email for more info)
The window did not stay open unless you used a log. Two spots on the WC cover remained there all our stay long.
The atmosphere and food.
No air conditioning, but they did bring us fans which helped greatly.
Its a lovely family run hotel. Right in the centre of the town.

best experience we had at any of our stays. staff was wonderful, food was incredible, bar area was fun. rooms were clean and comfortable. easy parking. absolutely loved this place
nothing to dislike at all
Location was great and breakfast was nice.
Parking was under construction and finding the lot took a bit of navigating.
Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Dinner menu a bit limited.
Lovely decorated rooms and comfortable beds although a bit of a squeeze in the twin bedded room.
Breakfasts were limited in cereal choice and croissants were only offered on one of the mornings. There was no area that was reserved for residents and our rooms were small so it was difficult to find somewhere to eat food not purchased at Gleesons.
The breakfast

I loved the traditional quality of this Irish owned family hotel - pleasant staff, wonderful food - Irish stew and sticky toffee pudding for supper after a long day at a conference were so delicious. So was breakfast, especially the bright orange yolks of my poached eggs. And the homemade choice of breads!
Great location, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff
Everything was great but would have liked electrical outlets either side of the bed rather than across the room. I know this is a very small point but just mentioning as a point of feedback.
Very central, walking distance to town
No residents bar
Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Fabulous place - beautiful room - excellent food and friendly staff
We thought your town was lovely. Ye are central to every thing. Staff so kind and obliging. We felt so at home in our short stay.
Very clean and competent, friendly staff.
Nothing
The staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
I think we must have got a dud room as many of the other reviews are glowing. Our bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on - an old spring mattress with no support. We didn’t upgrade from the double room as they advertised “extra long” size double beds but my partners feet kept hitting the baseboard all night, it looked like a regular double to us. We would have asked to switch but it was too late in the evening by the time we realised just how dire the mattress was. The room also looked a bit tired and dingy compared to the photos.
Everything located right in the middle of Roscommon Town with the best food and staff you could ask for cannot wait to go back

We stayed in the Executive Suite and it was a beautiful room. Bed was big and comfortable and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was so fresh and hot and a nice varied menu. Also being in the heart of Roscommon was a bonus.
Nothing, fabulous hotel.
Staff were friendly and very helpful, reception staff especially. They couldnt do any more for us. Breakfast was also delicious.
Room was dated and needed a little TLC. Paint chipping, table peeling, marks on walls and furniture, no cover on the divan bed base. Refurbishments/ expansion going on while we were there so obviously every effort being made and i would still return in the future
Lovely friendly people, stunning town, the sunny weather was great, room was perfect 👌👌
We stayed here for three nights with our two German Shepherds and had such a lovely time. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome. The staff were genuinely friendly and couldn't have been nicer, not just to us but to our dogs as well. They always made sure the dogs had fresh water, which was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. Our room comfortable, and had a really comfy bed, so we slept brilliantly every night. One of the things we loved most was being able to have breakfast with the dogs in the reception area, which made travelling with them so much easier. Roscommon Town is a lovely place to visit too, with plenty of great pubs and really friendly locals. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. It's not always easy to find somewhere that's genuinely dog-friendly, but this hotel went above and beyond. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you're travelling with your dogs!

nice location near Rope Bridge. Good Breakfast. Easy parking Extensive RV’s for rent at high times.
No elevator but only 1 flight of stairs
Location
good scrambled egg. Roscommon on the doorstep, attractive, unpretentious
Everything was lovely & the town outside the door, was great
An old building so stairs to 2nd floor, but luckily not too many
Very good
Bathroom was very tired looking
Ambiance en (keuze)ontbijt. En de vlotte service van de receptie. Maar een nacht verbleven dus weinig te zeggen over de andere faciliteiten.
Vergeten afvalemmer tijdens de schoonmaak op de badkamer.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We ended up with an upgrade and the room was lovely; large, comfortable and such a treat to stay in. Very central location surrounded by bars and restaurants. Lovely fresh breakfast in the morning as well! Would definitely stay again.
Very minor but the room was a bit lacking of natural light due to the tree outside the window and a bit too warm for us during the night.
Amazing staff, spacious, clean room with comfortable beds, highly recommended.
Location.

The food was amazing. We had breakfast both days and it was delicious. The hotel is in the centre of town and close to everything. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the room was lovely.

Wonderful location, right in the middle of town. History center next door. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
It was very central the stalf was excellent
Couldn’t keep the window open
Lovely staff, good breakfast, great location.
Shower leaked and the window had to be propped open with a box of tissues!
Excellent location. Very homely country house in centre of Roscommon town. Room was quiet. Great value for money.
Would have liked an offering of scones & pastries from the cafe to be included in the breakfast. That was only a small thing. The homemade bread was delicious.

Staff were excellent, very welcoming. Great location.
Room was more basic and dated than expected. Woken early by kitchen fan noise (not adjacent building as receptionist told us).
The breakfast and morning restaurant host was great! The fruit Scones & Bap were amazing.
The room was very small for 3 people- no place to fully open a suitcase. Closet had only 6 hangers. No place to hang wet towels. Dinner in the restaurant was not good - fish & chips were overcooked.
Great breakfast -especially the croissants
Bathroom facilities rather careworn
Travelling with family, it has everything needed. My toddler had a good night sleep. The location is at the center and everything is reachable. Great staff, very accommodating and supportive.
Not a problem though, just nitpick, the parking was not easy to find. Also the wifi is unsecured, so don't use it for any serious business.
Very central
Very well located in the middle of Roscommon town. Friendly staff and breakfast was really good.
As reported by others it's a bit dated, but can't fault it for cleanliness. What felt like a small double bed, but everyone spoilt with kings these days.
Petit hôtel sympathique
Pas d'ascenseur
Very friendly and helpful staff - kudos to Collette especially.
Central position with everything to hand . Excellent hotel
