Becamex Hotel Thu Dau Mot

The hotel was old, I could hear the sound from the next room

Room was bad, furniture was old, room hygiene was under standard. Lobby was not light enough and unprofessional staff.

Clean and comfortable!

Real old fashioned old school state hotel, nothing wrong but nothing nice.

Great people!

Large hotel with large beautiful swimming pool. Apartment was spacious, bed large and comfortable and excellent cleaning service. Breakfast buffet is excellent, but people are the best part of this hotel. I felt welcome and taken care of at all times.

I stayed with my family for 5 nights. The first night, there was a really heavy rain which caused a huge issue to the elevator. It took half day for the elevator to be fixed. My room was at level 15. I had to climb 15 floors up and down to purchase water and lunch for family. I understand this was nobody's fault but accident, so I have no complaint about the issue. The second night, my husband was showering in our room, and the water stopped running. My husband had to go downstair to talk to receptionist. The receptionist apologized to my husband, explained that heavy rain caused issue to the pumping system, and asked him to shower in the bathroom of the hotel's gym. I am quite speechless with this hotel at this point. On our check out day, they told us they could not find a small towel in our room. Therefore, they had to charge us for the small towel and a broken hanger. If there is a department that handles complaint for hotels in Vietnam, I for sure will file a complaint. For all the hassles that we experienced, we got no compensation. On the other hand, we had to pay for the broken hanger and the towel which they could not find. Since we were rushing to the airport, we had no time to talk to the manager. We just paid and left. With the way you guys are doing business, good luck to you and your future clients!

Great Location and great staff.

N/A

This is a reasonable hotel, but it needs a cleanup and better service. Not according to the western standards.

Very clean and comfortable suite room. The bed is very nice and even don’t wanna wake up. Breakfast is nice and the swimming pool is good. Receptionists are very helpful and kind. An excellent experience in Becamex Hotel. Thank you a lot.

Simple, clean and convenient lodging option near everything.

I've stayed here a few times in the last three years, including this year. This hotel is at a convenient location where you can readily access transportation and food. Many different types of restaurants, ranging from middle to upper class, as well as local hawker centers, are all within walking distance. One thing to note is that the hotel staffs are quite pleasant and helpful. I'm having a great time staying here.

Happy to stay here as a longest business trip for over 6 months. Location is great including service mind. Room size is suitable even for the quarantine during lockdown. Food is ok-ish just a little to short list of menu but overall good quality.

I stayed from middle of June to middle of November 2021 include quarantine, my review is not any help in usual. Amenities and services is average, breakfast is enough for me, and prepared room service menu in Japanese. Sometimes wifi was not connected. My business trip was so horrible in this time, but hotel stay was comfortable. Especially hotel staff in reception treated me kindly. Thank you.

Upon starting my new job in Binh Duong,I was placed here for the first few months and the staff were extremely accommodating. A friendly welcome, smiles on faces and porters eager to carry my excessive luggage to my room. I was lucky to have a room with a balcony, which became my favourite spot during the recent tough lockdown. And still, the staff remained ever so helpful whenever I needed any assistance with anything and the smiles on faces still remained even when I checked out. I enjoyed my time at Becamex Hotel and I will certainly recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in Thus Dau Mot. Thank you very much.

I used it for medical treatment after discharge. Even if I couldn't speak English, I translated it and contacted me, which was helpful. Wifi is not smooth, but it can be used without any problems. When asked where to stay in Binh Duong, I will list it as one of the recommendations.

Great location, easy access to numerous good restaurants and coffee shops just in walking distance. Been my favorite spot for business trips in the past 5 years. Friendly and smily staff. Great breakfast. Wifi is vital for business travelers and it has improved dramatically! Will stay there again for sure during my next trip!

Amidst the stressful chaos of Covid -19 there is a place to come for a few days away from city life + relax in a spotless hotel with a well maintained swimming pool. Only 1hr. 20mins from Ho Chi Minh City the hotel has maintained its high standards in room + Breakfast service throughout these current difficult times. Having stayed here numerous times I can only speak how well all concerned have kept things going in an inobtrusive+ peaceful way. A few steps across the road you have Mimi"s restaurant and small barwhich has good quality home cooking so you don"t need to go too far to this Western managed place. C"mon you folk, spread your wings a little and get out of the groove to unwind at Becamex, Thu Dau Mot.

Overall experience stayed here is very good! Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Staffs are willing to help and nice. Room is clean. Many restaurants around. Massage and salon nearby. Aeon Mall is recommended to go for grocery, around 15 mins away.

Nothing wrong if you don’t expect to much of this middle class hotel.note: free breakfast where they make coffee at 6 o’clock, which is undrinkable, if you ask for expresso, than you have to pay, very poor!

good

It was a good breakfast and a quiet hotel. I will visit next time.

It is easy to shop for transportation meals around the hotel. The breakfast was good.

It was okay. A bit pricy for Vietnam compared to other similar properties. The location is good with restaurants and a nice beer club within a 1 minute walk.

A real state hotel, where the staff is so unflexable. We booked 22 rooms the last few weeks, but a late checkout for one room untill 4 was only possible if i would pay full fare. We will stay in the Mira hotel next time. Never stay on the top floor, it is to hot.The price was good, so what am i talking about. Lol

Good Location. But the room is noisy since the windows do not have good sound-proof to the street noise. The deco of room is old. Breakfast is OK. Overall it is a OK stay under the reasonable price at the area.

My second visit to this anazing hotel. Very cosy studio apartment - well maintained, abd great value for money.

Good enough for the price, make sure they don’t put you on the 18th floor (topfloor) it is to hot.

For businesss trip, this is good choice. Nearby, there are good stores and restaurants.

Spacious room, quiet and comfortable. Abundant food selection in surrounding areas.

Nice hotel , very convenient

Less than 24 hour stay. Room was, A/C was cold, staff was good. Your in the middle of nowhere and it’s all you can ask for.

Good location, value for money. Many eating places in the neigbourhood.

It was in goid location and very friendly atmosphere

Nice room size. Balcony view and air conditioning worked well

Nothing in particular , no one speaks English so that makes it difficult

Horrible hotel. I would like to say i live in vietnam and know what i am talking about having stayed all over the country. Breakfast is the worst. Hardly any fruit and what was there was old and of, no yoghurt, no american coffee and no service. I asked to speak with the manager and was told he doesnt work on weekends! What sort of hotel is this? They clearly dont care about the client as i was basically told but your own if you dont like it! Avoid at all costs!

This hotel has rooms with all the facilities one may need to stay when away from home. Rooms are with attached drawing room to have meetings. You can also enjoy cooking in the room, Gas facility is available (on demand). As soon as you come out of hotel, all public transports are available. Big shopping complex near-by. There is one Vita Garden roof top restaurant + bar just beside the hotel.

I have recently moved to the area and needed a weekend of relaxation. I wasn't disappointed! The room was a studio style room- extremely comfortable , spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and very attentive . The pool area was fantastic and all meals delicious. I'll definitely stay again 😄

This hotel is very nice is a lot of restaurants around the property, the room's are nice.

Good location, several restaurant nearby including Korean BBQ, gym is too small, Breakfast is ok with that price, room is spacious with gas stove, convenient to stay with reasonable price.

Very nice modern hotel in atractive place in ho chi minh city. Food very good. Service on high level. Swimming pool available. Hotel is situated 10mins walk from central market and food market. It is placed on rush street. Apartment was big with small kitchen and basic staff in. Funitured very nice and modern. If I will come to ho chi minh again, I will again stay in this hotel. Thanks for nice service

Overall stay was ok with good breakfast, clean room, nice location and fast check in but internet is very lousy and the worst that I ever had in hotel. Late check out request was not accommodating and result was varies from different hotel staff. Grinding job was performed on the hallway and full of dust without and precaution and considering the hotel guest while walking passed through.

Da muss dringend was gemacht werden.

Good hotel in town for long stay as the suite come with kitchen but you have to pay for the stove gas. It come with daily breakfast n the best part is nearby hotel got many restaurent choice from local to Japanese, Korean and Western good. There are gym room and swimming pool. The area for improvement is poor WiFi connection.

over all good

Stayed alone in this hotel for 3 different nights to get some good rest from weekday hard work. Clean, great services, people nice, but no swimming pool or gym even outside nearby was very disappointed for me. However, it was good to have time to get refresh. Used three different rooms, two was with good view and quite, but one was terrible sleep with noisy from neighbor’s room. Think.... it is good for business trip that I recommend.

This property has hotel rooms as well as apartments for longer stays. This review is for the apartment only. I stayed in an apartment for 1 night only as the hotel rooms were sold out. I am glad I only needed 1 night, I could not have stayed longer. The apartment had linoleum floors with no rugs. AC is a must so the floors were cold. A tiny sofa and a small flimsy cocktail table were in the small living space area. There was a tiny square table with chair to be used to eat on or work on; in both cases it was too small to do anything, especially work...no room to spread out papers. There was 1 overhead florescent light in the living space. Bedroom was tiny and the bed was hard. The AC unit was located on the wall facing the bed, so the air blew directly onto the sleeper. Again 1 overhead light. Bathroom was just adequate. No space to put anything, and this is for longer term stays?? Shower water pressure was good. To use a hairdryer you had to plug in at the kitchen area, no mirror, nothing. The whole area was poorly laid out and poorly thought out. The apts. are also in a different building than the main hotel, so it is not as well supervised and you have to go to the main hotel for food if you do not bring food in. The rate includes breakfast which is adequate but not great. I will not ever go back to the hotel; don't want to even try the room which a colleague of mine stayed in with less than enthusiastic comments.

Good stayed for business around the area. Best hotel for the area. Good breakfast, good service, nice pool. The gym is really bad. Room safe is NOT bold to the closet. Don't felt very safe.

Rooms are comfortable and i have no issues at all. Hotel staff is just amazing and very helpful.

Nice hotel

Becamex hotel charges us extra for taxes but when I asked for the vat invoice for this "taxes" they refuse to issue and make so much fuss. Finally after the intervention of hotels.com, they reluctantly issue but for half the amount. Hotels.com should demand that Becamex hotel not charge for taxes if they are unwilling to issue the vat invoice to proof the taxes paid. Becamex is pocketing the taxes "paid". I don't have issues at other hotels I have booked in Vietnam.

The only down side to this hotel would be the distance from Ho Chi Minh City it’s self but overall a good place to stay!

Quoted a price for 2 nights and then when arrived said it was for each night. At late notice we had no other options. Completely deceitful from the hotel would never return on principle. Attached is photo of reciept given as quote.

Good to stay

Do not stay at this hotel because of the policy of this hotel does not allow a male foreigner share in one room with a female Vietnamese citizen without a marriage certificate. Hotels.com is responsible for this happen because it website did not display the hotel policy or importance message like the Booking.com or Agoda does. I have contacted the Becamex hotel and been told that hotel policy has been give it to all hotel accommodation website to display it policy when advertising . This is hotels.com fault that do not display hotel policy or importance message when advertised on your website I am looking for a reimbursement from hotels.com And so far I do not have any answer from hotels.com yet Sent from my iPhone

Very clean rooms, speaking English friendly team, good size pool, multiple places to dine, breakfast is ok. Watermelon/pineapple juice is a must after your morning walk:). Would recommend for my friends. :)

All the staff is helpful and the premises are extremely well maintained and clean. Next trip to Saigon will be the only place to stay. Breakfast is included and was outstanding with a large selection of well prepared dishes. Our stay was memorable. The pool is outstanding. I can't say enough about this hotel.

Good hotel, very nice pool and breakfast. The rooms are large and wide, mini kitchen included. But housekeeping could clean any material used in the kitchen... I found it weird, they don't wash any dishes or anything. Aside from that, staff is always willing to help and assist you if any needs. :) I would recommend it if you go to Thu Dau Mot!

Stay at this hotel for 4 nights. Three lifts available but you must remember to press two times buttons. Bcoz the lift on right hand side not link to the left hand side. Breakfast - basic but no surprise. Could tried their beef noodle if they serve it. It is quite nice. Don't forget to try the banquet. It is a must for my breakfast during my stay. The room space is suffice but as mentioned by other reviewer. The sleeping room is just big enough a bed. The down site is do not have working table. So I work on the dining table. Or beside the gas top when I need to charge my labtop. The hotel not really design for business trip. The main problem is the air conditional at living room off unnoticed. Sometime it could run for two hours and sometime only 15 mins. I have to restart it again. The price of having meal at restaurant is quite pricy as well. Overall it is quite ok .

3 STARS with swimming pool, sauna and buffet for breadfast, have many coffe shop, restaurant, beer club around. on 18th floor you can see the city...this is the very nice hotel, my room is decorded like a apartment, which make me feel liek home

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during a business trip to Binh Duong. Good sized rooms, worth paying a little extra for the executive suite you get a small kitchen and living room. Breakfast ok and some good local restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel advertises that all rooms have stovetops and kitchens - they do not. If you do get a room with a stove top - they will not less you use it without paying extra for the gas used - they also do not provide you with any basic facilities - telling you that you can get room service so you don't need to cook in the room... the whole point of having the kitchen is generally to use it... was initially put in a room without sink etc - and when I asked why - I was told that you had to put that as a special request - when it says its standard you don't expect to have to ask for it... nice swimming pool and clean hotel, breakfast was rather awful. Hotel is no where near Ho Chi Mihn City - and should not be listed as such - it is 1 hour drive away - which cost about £14 each way - if I had known that I would not have stayed here. Nothing touristy around at all, and quite a noisy area. When I asked if I could be refunded two nights stay so that I could stay somewhere with facilities I had expected I was told no refund would be given. The gym was extremely disappointing - no free weights - and the cardio machines were not in good working order. Overall not impressed. Would not stay here again.

Nide hotel but to far from city. Other then that nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok nothing special and no good bar to get a quiet drink.

Overall is good with the exception of sloppy house keeping. Cups I used were not washed. Living hall has got a desk but the socket were not within reach to charge my laptop while working.

nice and comfortable hotel , nice room the the bed sheet is alway nice and fresh, bed were very comfortable. The bathroom need more attention on cleaning!

Nice big rooms and staff can't do enough for you

Stayed here for two nights to meet our son who lives in Vietnam. A late check in was very smooth and all staff very helpful and polite. Facilities are very good especially the large swimming pool which was always empty! Breakfast had plenty of choice. Enjoyed our short time here.

It was an apartment complex more than than a hotel which was wonderful. If i had time i would have cooked and use the kitchen more often. Breakfast was good. Loved the fresh juice. Also have enjoyed the pool a lot after a long day meetings it was a perfect way to end my days in the pool cooling down and relaxing. Only one thing i was bit disappointed with the hotel service was that they didn't wake me up for the morning call service for my flight before heading to the airport so i woke up an hour late and I almost late for my flight but likely the awesome driver made it on time for me. Overall stay was good.
