Game room which was lit at night but did not feel very safe to and from the room (darkness)

From the moment we arrived, there was no electricity. They had not had electricity for over 48hrs We encountered cockroaches, and the mosquitoes kept us awake throughout the night. It was unbelievable that there was no contingency plan in place. We lost all our food and ended up incurring additional expenses during what was supposed to be a short weekend getaway. Overall, we were very disappointed.

The pool was green. Cats walk into your unit if the door is left open Also no electricity needs to have a generator for the price we paying

whole unit needs an upgrade, the units are old and damp smell everywhere, bathrooms are outdated and old, the facilities didn't even look clean to use, for high price we paid we would expect the shower to be cleaned at least

It was a great family friendly home. My family and i really enjoyed our stay, having all the facilities under one made it a bouns. We really loved this place..

I was actually changed from Club Hacienda to Margate Sands due to a booking.com technical glitch. So, Margate Sands was not my first choice. What was nice was the view and the fully equipped apartment.

The location - even though it is central, it was incredibly busy and noisy. The beach at margate which was the prime reason we wanted to go on holiday, was overcrowded, toilets not working and people pooping and urinating in the open. The lift was incredibly slow so we ended up walking up and down 4 floors everytime we needed to leave the place.

Checkout is at 10am and the cleaner came in after 9am while we were still in the unit and started cleaning up... we felt like we were being sushed out and she was.like in our private space... please make sure cleaners come after we have checked out

Friendliness of staff and location of property.

Bathrooms did not have stoppers on the wash basins and did not have cup holders for toothbrushes. Bathrooms need an upgrade. The staircase to upstairs is extremely steep and extremely narrow. No bath and shower gel were provided.

Comfortable and clean. Right on the beach so early morning sunrise is a must. Care free and safe for kids. Beds were comfortable we all slept well

The manager was discriminating my nephew from using the swings due to his size. However he is only 11 and still a child. Other than this all else was good

The location was excellent and it was generally well maintained with some dated fixtures but all workable.

The management was rude and didn’t handle a booking mixup on their end well. After some heated words and being made to feel quite insignificant we were made to check into a different unit after had already been 3 days into our 7 day stay. A check in thereafter may have saved face but no management showed up to even ensure we had settled into our new cabin and all was well. Sure enough on checkout by 10:05 there she was at the door reminding us checkout was at 10am without consideration of the fact that she cost us 3 hours earlier in our stay which meant us missing certain tours we had on the day.

This is a self catering resort. Breakfast is not provided. The location was excellent close to the beach and the shopping malls and within easy access to the main attractions.

There was no one at the property to hand us the keys. Eventually after constant hooting the security guard arrived with the keys and the check in documents. Booking.Com needs to inform prospective guests whether a shower or bath tub is in the units. This is extremely important if there are disabled guests who are unable to get into the bath tub. Only after our payment was taken on a non-refundable basis were we told that the two bedroom units did not have showers.

Everything was excellent, staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, my family really loved their stay wish we could have stayed longer.
