First Group Port Owen Marina

It was fantastic we took our boat along & went on a lovely cruise on the river. Braai facilities accommodation right on the river. The team run by Quanita was incredible. At a drop of a hand they were their for you. Charlies restuarant & nearby shops in the marina. Nice big tv too. Very peaceful in room 8A. Will be back 😊

Absolutely nothing

Beautiful location! Peaceful and right on the waterfront with birdlife around. Close to Langebaan West Coast Reserve which is very popular in the months of August and September when the flowers are at their best. We also visited Paternoster which is a special little resort to visit.

This accommodation was very comfortable, well located, and offered more than we expected. The resort provides so many activities, and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. We would definitely love to come back—next time for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay.

We met very Friendly staff, also Walter was exceptional such a friendly young man, very helpful and such a pleasure compared to other places we have travelled to. The View from the rooms, lounge was exceptional really a fantastic spot. The place was as always with the first group fantastic.

We didnt use the main bedroom even-though it looked very nice! just way to HOT no air-con guys come now sort that out it was 39, 37, and 35, on the days we stayed fanes were supplied but not going to make a differnece when its so hot. Please we will come again but you really need to sort out!

The reception is a bit hidden, but major friendly staff. The property is beautiful, clean and the location is perfect. Only down side was that the bathroom needs an extractor fan, it was very damp after a shower.

Unit lacks aircon. TV's display was very poor. No DSTV remote for bedroom TV made it incovenient as we had to get up and change channel in another room everytime. Some of the furniture looks dated. Bed coil spring wotn-needs replacing

The location and all the activities was very nice, good and fun.

The views was exceptional. The area was quiet and had much to offer. Close to the shops if you need to grab some groceries . Restaurants offer good food. Place is simply amazing

Loved our stay here BUT the places really need Air-con as they get so warm and it made sleeping very difficult. There was a ceiling fan and a portable fan but all they did really was push hot air around. Aside from that, we loved it here. We had a 1 bedroom ground floor apartment. 2 sets of sliding doors opened up onto a gorgeous decking area, which overlooked the water. Lots of gorgeous homes around here to admire. There was a really good restaurant less than a minute's walk away. We took a pedalo raft out on the canal and played table tennis in the games area. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. We used the pool a couple of times and that was nice too. Overall, a lovely stay in a lovely apartment and area but unfortunately would probably not return due to not sleeping well due to lack of air-conditioning

Beautiful, peaceful and calm. Pitty the slight breeze made that we couldn't make use of water activities they had. Another point is that theirs not much else to do when you can't make use of the water activities especially for the kids . But it was very nice and it's beautiful.

The staff were so helpful. I called Taufika to let her know that we will be arriving after 10pm. She spoke to her manager Guanita who accommodated us. we only arrived at midnight, and Guanita came to check us in. You are awesome Guanita!. Thank you again.

The location is excellent with nice restaurants close by. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The staff did their best to make us feel welcome and the assistance was outstanding. We booked an extra night and the booking went seamless.

There are not enough wrongs to warrant a note or complaint. There is one thing which would be nice to have. If you make a booking, it would be great if you could see which unit is available as we are familiar with the location and have our favourite spot.

Even before you arrive at the property, you are made to feel welcome. We received a call to ask if we were celebrating a special occasion or if there was anything we needed. On arrival the reception was so friendly and efficient. The chalet had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. Being by the water is always a wonderful experience. There is a lot of bird life on the water. Plenty of activities and nice restaurants in the area.

Beautiful Marina setting. Very comfortable King bed, great kitchen, full DSTV. Unit 7A. Recommend. Fabulous beaches at nearby Dwarskersbos.

Could do with an upgrade but it’s not a train smash.

The location was very good with awesome view. Activities were offered like the boat rides. Christmas carols were invited to listen too.

Air-conditioning facilities to be added maybe in rooms as it was very hot.

Great view! Check in was a breeze. Amazing chalet! Staff very friendly and management is hands on. Had a brass band on Christmas eve..sooo awesome!

Cleaning, Bedding didn't smell nice The fact that we were booked into a unit and had to move again the next day what an inconvenience. We ended up waiting half a day to move. The place needs a deep clean.

Location and apartment were perfect an interesting design and concept - very spacious with everything needed for a few days or for a couple of weeks. The apartment was easy to access and very nicely furnished. Kitchen and all appliances were as new condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our days at the apartment. The gardens and pool are well kept and nice to wander about in
