Friendly staff, central location to town centre, lovely breakfast.

Strange not being staffed on a Sunday on arrival but process was easy to access room.

Breakfast was excellent. All modern decor, white and black. En. Suite excellent and modern. Room clean and tidy. Cheap car park nearby.

Layout of the room No.9. 2 single beds, room long and thin with structure extending into the middle of the room with narrow passage between its two parts. Both single beds at opposite ends of the room.

room was clean and tidy, very welcoming, staff were very cheerful and happy to help, breakfast was cooked fresh to order, nice sausages, very convenient for the station

nothing, I was slightly put off by the hotel not having there own car park, but local car park was very cheap, £3.30 a day!, and only 100m from hotel

All very average really.. Could not fault cleanliness.

Breakfast wasn't as good as a premier inn, no fruit salad or cold buffet etc.

Stayed here many times and have never been disappointed, great team and great breakfast, the pancakes 😁

It was okay for our main purpose of somewhere to sleep for a night.

Trying too hard to be shabby chic when the decor, equipment and furniture/ furnishings were not of a good enough standard. The restaurant tables for example were not clean and the materials used weren’t commensurate for adequate quality required to meet expected standards.

My room was up 2 flights of stairs which was fine for me but not great if you have mobility issues. No on-site car park which isn't clear when you book. There is a very reasonably priced public car park very close by. I couldn't get the TV to work which was a shame as England were playing in the world cup

Nice shower / bathroom and reasonably comfortable room. Cooked breakfast was very good, continental selection bit sparse.

The check in process was inconvenient. We were attending a wedding from 1.00pm to 11.30 pm and had to break at 6.00 pm to make a trip down to the hotel to check in. I suggest that the £30 supplement to check in after 1.0pm but before 4pm should be looked at. The TV in one of our rooms did not work. TV instructions could be included. The local car parking situation could be more clearly described and a map included. Tea and coffee facilities in breakfast room could be signposted.

Everything was better than expected. Great shower, comfy bed, decent breakfast, friendly staff and the cleaners were great too.

Komplizierter Weg zum Zimmer. Zimmer mit Fenster über der Abluft der Küche- bei offenem Fenster weniger angenehm. Nach dem duschen war das Bad komplett nass.

Room hot, fan provided was good but if window open, too much noise from extraction and fridge motor units situated just outside window this room should probably be at a discounted rate

room was very nice very impressed with out shower room large clean and very easy access to shower beng elderly we sometimes struggle in small showers so a refreshing suprise the staff were so very pleasant at breakfast and were very friendly and very helpful breakfast was very well presented and we really enjoyed our stay.

lift was a bit awkward only being able to use when staff are there as we find stairs very hard as my partner has heart and medical problems so we did struggle with the stairs but we managed.

Our stay exceeded all expectations. The hotel has a beautiful design that blends modern style with charming vintage accents, creating a space that feels both stylish and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly, making us feel truly looked after from the moment we arrived. Room okay but stairs and passage ways poorly lit and tough to negotiate with luggage. Breakfast was probably the worst ever - left under kitchen lights. Most residents left loads but no one asked why

Strangjy it was a little hard to find entrsnce as very discrete sign in window on main street and reception was restaurant bar.

Great looking bedroom, wonderful breakfast and perfect location for us.

Our bedroom was nice but it was so so hot up there. We were on the top floor and hardly slept a wink due to it being so warm (even with the fan provided on and the window open).

Disturbed by some traffic noise in our room

I would say this was overpriced for the services. no air con, no iron in room, no manned desk over night- door code didnt work getting in past the restaurant shutting hours. For a small town and the above I wouldn't expect to pay more then £100 a night.

Center location. Exchange street is 2 mins walk away and has a free all day and overnight car park The young girl who checked us in was very friendly and as we're 3 cyclists staying overnight let us keep the bikes in a secure room too. Nice evening meal and breakfast too. The young girl was smiling constantly and very helpful . She is a Gem for your hotel . Would recommend

Stood outside for nearly a hour ringing them no answer staffers hotel and thy ey don’t give you the right numbers to ring or in the window the numbers are wrong and when a local did ring them for me she was rude

On entering breakfast room was greeted by a member of staff and shown to a table food was ordered and arrived piping hot and quickly…..staff were really friendly and welcoming…the breakfast / dinner room has a nice cosy feel to it was clean light and airy…

No car parking facilities on site…..Although there were car parking areas near by they were all pay and display this adds to the cost of the room when staying for a few nights….It would be a nice thought to have some kind of discount for overnight parking….

The room was large, clean, and well equipped The staff were amazing, and a large section of breakfast definitely made the stay even more enjoyable

Some equipment wasn't working, a long way through the corridor to get to the room, especially as I was carrying large baggage. However, despite this, I would still come back because the staff and overall experience were lovely.

Had a twin room number 9. Was an odd shape but worked well, I had one half and my daughter had the other. Shower looked lovely but didn't use it as was only there 1 night. Staff were all very friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. Nice town centre location.

Bed was extremely hard. Pillows uncomfortable. Could hear taps and other plumbing throughout the night. Radiator very loud. Just walking outside the room was noisy. Didn't sleep well at all. Breakfast was OK, had eggs benedict with mushrooms. Hollondaise sauce wasn't nice and eggs over cooked but daughter enjoyed her pancakes. Cold buffet selection not great.

We were in room 3 which was very nice with a comfortable bed and plenty of space to hang our clothing. We did not have dinner at the hotel however the breakfast was nice and plenty of it.

The hot water for the shower was a little hit and miss in the mornings - Sometimes quite hot and sometimes quite cool so that needs addressing. The dinning room / breakfast room was a little chilly in the mornings when having breakfast. If we were really picky, we could have done with a couple of drawers in our room.
