One of us loved the location and the other didn't. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't use it.

The extra charge for air conditioning and the worn sheets.

The location was excellent, near the beach and restaurants. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts was outstanding. The gardens were beautiful with monkeys passing through. The pool was great.

De condos zijn beperkt qua aantal. Wij kregen een 2-kamer condo in de tuin. Het complex is wat ouder en gedateerd, met lage plafonds buiten op je terras en binnen merk je dat. De host (Alex) is zeer aimabel en doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Het zwembad is mooi, maar het is heel prettig om zo vlak bij het stille strand te vertoeven. Het is een rustig complex, in een rustige omgeving met voldoende restaurants, supermarkten, etc. in de buurt. Voor ons een ideale uitvalsbasis om Barbados te verkennen en veel prettiger dan de drukte bij Bridgetown, wat een beetje vergane glorie ademt langs de stranden. Zeker aan te bevelen, maar dus niet nieuw.

De condo is netjes, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, maar dus gedateerd.

Die Gastgeber sind ein überaus freundliches und wunderbares Paar. Alle beide sind sehr bemüht, dem Gast ein schönes Umfeld zu schaffen und bei Planungen behilflich zu sein. Der Pool und Liegebereich ist ein sehr idyllisches Plätzchen und auch der gesamte Garten ist schön bepflanzt und grün mit Blumen. Es gibt Kolibris in den Sträuchern. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Preis-Leistung für Barbados ist sehr gut.

Man darf keine neue Anlage erwarten. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind etwas älter.

The place is a hidden gem. With lots of wild life and wonderful people. The owners Delia and Bert are fabulous. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Our neighbour was ill and Delia made appointment with dr in speightown for her, and Bert took her in also gave me a lift there and back as I happen to be going in that direction. That’s the kindness you experience at a place like this. Would not hesitate to return .

There was nothing to dislike at all.

An absolutely wonderful, family-run hotel with the most welcoming hosts who truly go above and beyond. They generously share both their time and their beautiful property, which features a lovely pool area and a well-maintained garden where you might spot land tortoises and even wild monkeys. You can often see the monkeys in the early morning as they leave at sunrise and again in the evening when they return at sunset—every day! If you’re lucky, you may even get to taste fresh coconuts. The hosts are very responsive before your arrival (via Booking.com) and are easy to reach during your stay, either by simply knocking on their door or via WhatsApp. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to a paradise-like beach and about 4 minutes to a small gas station shop where you can buy essentials like bread, toppings, and drinks. There are plenty of cozy spots to relax in the garden, as well as access to a barbecue and a peaceful, well-kept pool area. It doesn’t feel like staying at a hotel—it feels like being welcomed into someone’s home ❤️ We booked an apartment with a kitchen and a private terrace, which we highly recommend. Don’t hesitate to book this place—if it were possible to give a higher rating, we absolutely would!

Lovely friendly hosts.....husband and wife team. Could not have been more helpful. Really create a family atmosphere.

L'environnement est magnifique et très reposant. Le petit déjeuner en compagnie des singes verts est magique ! L'accueil de Delia est très chaleureux : c'est un bonheur. Nous profitons pour la saluer et la remercier de sa gentillesse et de sa disponibilité.

Location - Mullins beach is a very short walk across the road and a quieter/smaller beach is a 10min walk away, Speightown is a 25min walk and Holetown is a 10min ride away (Yellow mini buses will pick you up directly outside the exit of the Condos). plenty of bars and restaurants around, the walks are pleasant due to the weather and sound of the sea is always around you Delia and Bird are excellent hosts, very positive and make you feel like family. Married couple 30-40.

L'accueil a été formidable, Delia (une Québécoise) est une hôtesse fantastique. Le site est magnifique avec ses jardins et ses singes. L'aire de la piscine est particulièrement agréable. L'hôtel est à 2 minutes de la plage. Le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.

Lovely and reliable hosts! Delia even let me ride to the town center with her to do some grocery shopping. Good, quiet location near the beach. Only a short walk from a few restaurants and a gas station/convenience store. Comfortable room (upstairs) with a spacious terrace. Well-kept premises and nice pool area. I will certainly return if I come back to the island.

A great well-maintained quite place 50 m from the sea, beach restaurants, and a gas station with a convenience store. The host Delia is very kind and helped me with a lot of stuff!

Owners were so friendly and helpful. Great location in the north of the island, a short walk to beach and restaurants. Peaceful gardens where monkeys played early and again in the evening. We also saw hummingbirds and tortoises in the grounds of the condos.

The fact that you are literally across the road from Mullins beach where sunsets are amazing, but you feel so secluded. I loved the nature. Monkeys, tortoise (big ones), fire flies, glow worm, humming birds, lizards, tree frogs and much more.

The accomodation is set in a beautiful garden that is so peacefull and beautiful. Waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the birds is bliss. The accomodation is spotless clean and you have everything you need for the stay. The location of the accomodation is excellent. The beach is literally across the road and the bus stops are really neat which makes it so easy to get around the island. The hosts Delia & Bird are both very welcoming and helpful and there are always available to answer any questions or give recommendations. I loved the stay and would highly recommend it.I was like home away from home.

Mullins beach is very close, the place was very clean and had everything necessary. Special thanks to the hosts Alex and Delia. They were always very friendly and helpful with everything!

Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. Delia and Bird were exceptionally lovely! The location is perfect for exploring the coast, and the regular buses on the road outside make travel very easy. The pool area is nice and comfortable. We will be back!

Wonderful hosts, a very comfortable room with a nice shady terrace and despite close proximity to the beach it was very quiet and peaceful. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Home from home! Lovely, relaxed place to stay. Dee, Bird and all staff were friendly and welcoming. All the other guests were super nice as well. Gorgeous beach at the end of the drive and easy to hop on buses up and down coast to explore the area. We will be back.

Delia & Bird were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in 2 rooms which had everything we needed for our stay and ac from sundown to sunup ie when we were there! The property is only a few minutes walk from Mullins beach with sunbeds for hire & several great places to eat. We used the bus to get around & that was also very easy with stops by the beach. Delia booked an airport transfer which was very competitive.

If you like new, mass-produced hotel rooms with pristine furniture this might not be for you. If you value character with a local flavour I would recommend Legend Garden!

There were places for sitting equipped with grill in the garden. What we liked mostly was friendly and welcome behavior of Owners. They provided all information concerning shopping, restaurants, beaches, life in Barbados and etc. Many thanks for that

This place is lovely. Right next to Mullins beach and restaurants and bars. Close to gas station with necessities and bus stop to get to the rest of the island. Can’t be beat. Also has parking for rental cars, a beautiful garden where you can watch the monkeys and fireflies, and a full kitchen for a longer stay. The owners are super nice and available when needed. It was a real pleasure!!

Nothing, Everything is as described. This property is back off the road (which is a good thing, it’s a loud road and you don’t hear a thing on the property) with a large garden so that there are more mosquitos than if you were right on the water. We were fine with bug spray.

Delia was a fabulous and very informative host and the property is lovely - very green and spacious. The apartment was well equipped, clean, comfortable and very quiet. It felt spacious for myself and my son. Very short walk to the beach and to buy essentials. Bars and restaurants close by.

Great location. Just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. It is set a bit back of the main road, which means there is no traffic noise at the property. Anything on the actual beach will back on to a main road. This is a very peaceful location with lots of interesting wildlife around. Delia was also very hospitable and gave us a lot of good advice about what to visit and how to get around the island. The nearby main road is also well served by buses to get around the island and also easily to Bridgetown.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The owners are, without a doubt, some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Their warmth and kindness made my stay truly unforgettable. The property itself is beautifully maintained and reflects their care and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place where you feel truly welcome, this is it!

Bed linen, pillows and towels need replacing. Bathroom shower gel and shampoo not provided. No pool towels. No complimentary tea or coffee.

Very nice host, condo was as described and had all the amenities that we needed. Excellent location, very quiet but only a 3 minutes walk to the local beach, which is good for swimming and snorkeling. We have rented a car to explore the island, would definitely recommend that.

The bed itself was rather on the hard side (we prefer a medium mattress), but that is a personal preference. Some of the towels provided were rather old (but clean) and should be replaced.

WiFi good, nice private pool area. Big bedroom. Get to see monkeys at sunset by the pool!

Very little! We'd have preferred a private terrace attached to our condo (a couple do have them though). There are a couple of lovely covered seating/bbq areas in the grounds.

Great location just across the road from beach, the gardens and pool are great. This is not a 5 star hotel but a fantastic small family run place that you can do your own thing. The owners are fabulous, very friendly and very welcoming.

What a wonderful place! The people, the location, the accommodation all amazing! A welcome like I have never experienced before, made to feel like a part of the family, we only had two nights here unfortunately but in that short time we were treated like old friends. They put on a fantastic fish fry evening where you bring your own sides then get to meet everyone like a little private party. Such a great idea and makes the stay that bit more special. Accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way, clean, comfortable, spacious. The surroundings are idyllic, like staying in a wildlife haven surrounded by trees, birds, monkeys, hummingbirds, fireflies! Simply beautiful!

The property is nice, lots of wildlife. The owners were very sweet and very helpful and made the stay so much better. Would definitely stay again if I return to Barbados.

The location was perfect. Beautiful well kept gardens and Mullins Beach just across the road. Delia and Bird are the most delightful hosts, so warm, welcoming and kind. Enjoyed some great conversations. Accommodation has everything you could need, cleaned twice a week. It is lovely to just sit outside on the terrace in the morning and read a book or watch the wildlife. A chicken laid 4 eggs underneath the terrace wall and stayed sitting on them until we left! We would return in a heartbeat ☺️

This is an amazing place, I am happy I stayed there and would definitely come back. it's beautifully located in a lush garden, the condos are nicely furnished and the beach is just across the road. there are nice beach bars and food options nearby. Dee is very kind and helpful. I'd really recommend

We were welcomed like family. De and Alex created the perfect place to spend some relaxing time in Barbados, and were always available to answer any sort of questions and give us some useful tips. This intimate condo was great for our family of 4 and perfectly equipped. The common areas are also very well maintained, with full access to an amazing swimming pool area, just perfect!

The location was perfect for me. Close to the beach and the gas station. Easy access to buses. Less than five minutes to the beach. All the beautiful greenery, flowers, birds, butterflies on the property were incredible. Loved having the pool on property as well. I was treated with the outmost respect! Would return in a heartbeat!

It was private, well kept, and had interesting plant life with a variety of fruit bearing and ornamental tropical plants. Monkeys visited every evening, and while close to the beach it was enough off the beaten track to be safe and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the surrounding neighbourhood. The family who runs it were very down-to-earth and helpful when we needed it. We had great excursions thanks to their advice, and there was parking for our rental car.

There is nothing we didn't like about the property.

I loved everything about my stay here. The condos are family run and it has a very homely and welcoming feeling to it. It doesn't feel like you are a customer but one of the household. Excellent location and very close to the beach and other amenities. Will return asap!

Easy bus connection to Speightown and around the island

Airport bus on Sunday did not ride as scheduled though Speightown bus staff had assured me.

The location is phenomenal. Just a 2 minute walk if that, to an exceptional beach called Mullins bay Beach with crystal clear waters. The condos are beautiful with Tortoises around in an area of the garden and Monkeys that come visit twice a day. Delia and Alex are excellent hosts and very helpful to make our stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. This place is just a 5 minute walk from CiCis bar and many other restaurants all with amazing views and by the beaches. The place is very much like an eco retreat with beautiful trees and plants and flowers around their property with all the peace and quiet.

There could've been a hairdryer in the room. But besides that , we loved everything.

The area is well located near spreightown, near a bus stop and a night shop. There is a beach just close to the condo. The house was well furnished. The garden is really beautiful. Pool is okay. Bonus for the monkey and the turtle in the garden. Nice place to stay for small budget that dont want to stay in the main city

I would put a sign to help newcomers to find the condo but nothing more to worry

Hosts were lovely. Helpful, friendly and welcoming. Ena the cleaner was lovely too. The tortoises were great. It was close to the beach (Mullins). Buses stop outside the property and are regular. It is close to Holetown - by bus. It is close to Speightstown - a 20 minute short walk. All good. The 'condo' or apartment, was nicely furnished and the kitchen adequately equipped.

The taxis from the airport are a fixed fee and $144 BBD. Not cheap. But this is something you have to accept. There is a bus, but with suitcases that would be a challenge. However, the buses (yellow buses) that seem to cover a lot of the island are very cheap indeed and great. Seemed to be $3.5BBD per trip regardless of distance/destination.

The location of this property was great for us. Just opposite the entrance was the lovely Mullins beach with a great bar and restaurant. Mullins beach is fantastic for a sunset cocktail. An additional 10 minutes walk gets you to the very underdeveloped Gibbs beach which is beautiful. There are several dining options a few minutes walk from the Legend Condos but if you want to go further afield its easy. Buses run up and down the road outside the Legend Garden Condos and they will get you to Holetown ( where there is a big supermarket) and to Bridgetown. In the other direction we were easily able to walk in to Speightstown which has a very good range of dining options and a supermarket. The property itself was nice and quiet as it was far enough back from the road for us not to be disturbed. The pool area is lovely and there are shaded places to sit and eat outside in the gardens. Our room, although the decor is dated and not to everyone's taste had everything that we needed and was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The air conditioning was very effective.

The garden is a real paradise, you just have to walk a few minutes to reach the beach and the owners are very friendly

The property is few minutes walk to the beach and beautiful tropical surroundings. The room was beautiful & comfortable which I stayed was on ground floor was perfect as I was still recovering from a broken ankle.

The only thing was the air conditioning was on a timer which you weren’t able to turn on by yourself it was a very hot , the temperature were soaring , especially between 2pm -5pm so getting ready was not a pleasant experience, there were ceiling fans but they were not as affective I recommend an extra standard fan to be put in rooms or guests access on turning on ac.

We arrived much later than expected but Delia was there to warmly greet us and get us settled in. The property is lovely, it's literally a minute walk to a great beach but set back from the road enough to afford a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Our daughter would get up at 6am to catch the monkeys coming down from the trees before they set off for the day (luckily she would then go back to sleep for a bit). Our suite was comfortable and well appointed, kitchen allowed us to cook and save money by not eating out for every meal. Pool is refreshing and well maintained. Convenient mini-market within an easy 5 minute walk. Hopefully we get to return someday as it was wonderful lodging to explore a truly magical part of the island.

We liked the staff and the location of the Legend Garden Condos very much.

The fittings in the room were falling apart and the furniture and linens were old and not very clean.

It was exceptional. The grounds and the property are tucked away and well kept, it felt like a quiet oasis set within nature, exactly what we wanted. It was lovely seeing the occasional monkey and other animals, and hearing the bird song in the morning. We’ve come back to the UK replenished and desperate to go back! Also a great location, a very short walk in the morning to Mullins beach (5 mins) which has some of the best food and drink options on the island in our opinion. Was lovely going for a morning swim at the beach each day. A special shout out to Bird and Delia, the owners, who made our stay extra special.

Nice quiet neighborhood on the west coast with access to public transportation

Could use the the apartment again, but my advice would be to hire a car if you are this far North of the island and want to do multiple hops.
