Hotel Seri Malaysia Kuala Terengganu

Practically the location was in the city but the hygienes of the room and toilet was very bad! The room wasn’t clean and the toilet was a nightmare. At that rate and star I would only give it as an Inn more than the word Hotel.

Staff were friendly and attended our needs.

A lot of local food near around the hotel.

Hotel is very old, breakfast was nothing during fasting months.

Location and staff were OK. Rusty water, poor room maintenance, power failure.

Cons: Old property, bathrooms need a lot of work. The rooms need to be refurbished. Pro: Very good location, walking distance to eateries and waterfront. Breakfast overlooking the river was nice.

old, run-down condition, dirty, unclean. DONOT stay here. there is another hotel very nearby, which is FELDA much better.

Price is ok. Quite comfortable. Not a bad choice to spend a nigth after long journey travelling. Breakfast option was good enough.

Stayed on 30th Aug 20. Would be the last choice of hotel to stay. Furnitures are old. Corridor floor tiles are dirty. Bathroom with yellow stains on wall tiles. No shower curtain. No minibar fridge. Overall very dissappointed with Seri Malaysia.

Kebersihan bilik air amat mengecewakan, lantai dan dinding bilik kotor berkerak, pemegang shower seperti bertahun tidak di bersihkan. Tiada selipar bilik disediakan. Sarapan pagi tidak sedap dan menarik langaung

I don’t like about the parking space. I have to park my car outside the hotel area and got a compound ticket.

Car park full at night. Had to park my car outside hotel and got a summon for not paying parking at 10am next morning.

Parking space very limited, old utilities

Noted some guests allow to bring durian to hotel although there are signs stated durian strictly prohibited at hotel premises.

Bilik air kurang memuaskan & berbau.. Tuala agak kusam Service yg agak teruk,saya minta plastik untuk letak baju basah sampai check out tidak dihantar..last2 saya minta dengan cleaner yang lalu untuk service room. Breakfast baik Semoga Pihak Pengurusan ambik cakna berkaitan komen pelanggan dan improve .

The hotel is old and dirty. Especially the toilet wall and floor. I book the event hall. The audio cable, not working properly, the air Con in the event hall is not working properly. I order coffee for 30 pax. Paid Rm150 but was told later upon request that no creamer is provided for event .

The condition of the room is terrible, it looks different than the pics, I expected something basic but not bad, the breakfast was terrible, the bread is old, all I could have was a tea.

Nothing, all very poor two stars hotel with smelly and moldy room. The staffs are rude and they are less educated to be polite with the guests. No wifi inside the rooms, oh my good, is this what they claimed themself as two stars hotel?

The place clean & staff friendly

Everything is nice and okay with the seaview and sunset. Near to the chinese village. You can walk to pasar payang easily. Startegic place!

i would suggest hotel to hire part time FNB staff during peak season. so your guest breakfast time will be much smoother.

The bathroom is dirty and need to upgrade. The towel is old and need to change to a new towel. Overall the hotel is extremely old and need to refurbish.

We stayed here due to the hotel central location. Based on other's reviews we were aware that the hotel was basic. Checkin was good however when we viewed the room it did not have a mini fridge or coffee/tea facilities. When I asked about this at reception I was told that only family rooms had such facilities. I then upgraded to a family room which was much more comfortable than the first room I viewed. I would suggest Hotel.com and the hotel review the room descriptions as I have gone back to review and found the room descriptions somewhat confusing. The hotel could use a major upgrade. The hallways are dark and noisy. The room was clean but again could use upgrade. We were lucky as it was not busy so was quiet for our 2 night stay. the staff did their best to assist us and overall our stay was quite pleasant. If you want to we close to Chinatown and are staying for a short time, this might be a good fit. Just be advised it is basic. There is on site parking but spaces are limited. Breakfast is ok. I am sure there is more of a selection when the hotel is fuller.

The restaurant staffs are poorly trained,. There isn't a supervisor to supervise the staff early in the morning. I have request for the napkin paper and the soup spoon which should be ready at the buffet spread...

Most poor Hotel among Seri Malaysia with that rate, budget hotel below RM100 is much much better than this hotel. Below are my comment: 1) Staff at reception was not helpful and poor customer service 2) Room was very bad - Toilet and shower area too cramp, towel look faded and yellowish, ask for extra towel cannot provide, only 1 plug point available, WiFi was unable to connect bad coverage 3) Breakfast with too little of choices and they should promote local food like Nasi Dagang with Ikan Tongkol instead of "Curry Egg" that was soo cheap menu or Nasi Lemak. 4) Overall - will not visit this hotel again in future.

For a night it was nice stay for the price.

affordable compare to other budget hotels, clean, river view and you can walk safely at the midnight even though you are alone.

The whole room (310) smell massage oil(minyak angin) so strong! Make my head spinning. The rest was just nice.. the bathroom n toilet bowl a bit dirty.

It was my first time in KT & a memorable weekend. To KT for a wedding. SM was highlighted by a friend. Room & facilities inside the room were ok, eventho it was at the ground floor facing the road side. We requested for a family room with a view, but it was fully booked & only 4 units.

This hotel is strategic and nearby to main attraction which is Kampung Cina and Pasar Payang. However, the facilities is quite old and dusty. Overall rate from my stay is GOOD. Keep it up to serve a good service.

Nice and convinience place to stay Near to Pasar Payang

Near tourism must visit place.. around 300 meter for the hotel.. The hotel is located near the main road

The hotel's location is great. It is right in the middle of the town. Walking distance to Pulau Warisan, Kampung Cina and Pasar Payang. UTC is walking distance as well. However Grab and Uber are easily requested here. The staff was great except for 1 lady who told us off unnecessarily for eating the complement fish crakers. It annoyed us till we when up our rooms immedietly. Other than her, they are rather helpful.

Hotel is easy for me go to China Town. Staff I think satisfied because most is the local people, they are quick helpful & friendly. Still need to improve.

It has a great location - beside the river, next to the waterfront and also kampung cina, where there is a lot of chinese food. It is rather old ... you can see the cramped shower space in the bathroom ... and the breakfast is quite simple, compared to about 10 years ago. However, the rates are affordable and they do have a lift, compared to some HSM.

Overall is okay. But a few things such as cleanliness need to be improved. A bit dusty carpet and old blanket is still be used.

Nice hotel, comfort room with delicious breakfast. Suitable for holiday with family. Very recommended.

Great view from window, clean and comfortable room. Wi-Fi only in lobby and very slow. Great location, friendly staff, quiet. Food OK.

Stayed on 1st Ramadan..hva good sahur in hotel..and Terawih Masjid Abidin nearbye..good experiance
