This place shouldn’t be listed as a hotel . It should be shut down . It’s horrible , filthy and a big shame for Tunisia and Bizerte.

Schreckliche Unterkunft. Schmutzig, verfallen, ungepflegt. Unfähiges Personal. Laute Umgebubg, keine ruhige Nacht.

Hygiene wird ganz klein geschrieben. Überall ist es schmutzig. Die Türen schliessen nicht richtig und die Klima funktioniert nicht.

This bungalow-style hotel is in the best location in Bizerte. It's on a beautiful beach just steps from the city center. The rooms are very modest but clean. I purchased full board, and the food was healthy, delicious, and authentically Tunisian. There's a tennis court and a big pool. Security is at the entrance to the parking lot 24/7.

The location of Hotel Sidi Salem is the best in Bizerte. You can walk anywhere and the beach is amazing. I recommend full board, because the traditional Tunisian food they serve is fresh, healthy, and an excellent example of Mediterranean cuisine. Be sure to ask for a croissant at breakfast! The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and there are people working security 24/7. The bungalow rooms are clean, have hot water, and are basic. Overall it's an excellent value for a hotel at this price point.

Un hôtel qui pourrait etre magnifique mais qui est vétuste, publicités mensongères car pas de piscine, pas de salle de sport .... Petit déjeuner nul Hygiene 0 À notre arrivée la chambre sentait la cigarette, la fenetre ne fermait pas donc insécurité pour nos affaires. J'ai changé les draps du lit car je ne me voyais pas y dormir comme ça. Pas de prises accessibles dans la chambre, que celle de la sdb... Bar et boite de nuit à proximité , bien mais tres bruyante pour dormir. Bref l'établissement est laissé à l'abandon depuis trop longtemps, vraiment dommage car hyper bien situé avec la mer à côté

Very poor service condition of the rooms. Tv is not working .no internet service . If you need internet you have to go to the lobby. My first night I could not sleep the matress is very poor condition

Ottima posizione a due passi dal porto antico di Bizerte. Struttura dotata di spiaggia e piscina, pulita ed a prezzi veramente contenuti. Ideale per famiglie, ma non solo. Personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliato. Très bien situé à deux pas du vieux port de Bizerte. Structure avec plage et piscine, propre et à des prix très raisonnables. Idéal pour les familles, mais pas seulement. Personnel amical et serviable. Recommandé.

Dinner by the pool was nice

For us hotel worked. Nice rooms, good location, walking distance to Port Vieux, good price. If you expect nice beach you will be very disappointed, there was also no water in the pool.

Abordable, mais rien de spécial, bon pour un séjour de passage, pas plus de deux jours. Reste propre. Petit de des plus simple avec du pain congelé. Bref en 15 ans cet hôtel n'a pas changé, c'est dommage.

Posizione ottima, tutto sommato buono il rapporto qualita'/prezzo se non si hanno eccesive pretese, colazione inesistente, wifi presente solo nella hall, due discoteche accanto alla struttura vanno avanti fino a tardi dando notevole disagio a chi vorrebbe dormire.

The hotel is conveniently located and is within walking distance to the old city and beaches. I stayed at this hotel in June and July 2019, so it was a bit overpriced for the amenities it had. The swimming pool was well managed, all of the hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. They walk you to the room and show you around, and the staff in the restaurant are welcoming and pleasant to speak with. However, the rating I'm giving here (one star) is based on my observation of how the hotel management treats its employees. Especially the manager, whose name is Ridha, treats his employees poorly and is very abusive with them verbally.

place is excellant near everything, room is clean, hosts are welcomed, wifi not all round rooms, coffee is not good its better to have coffee outside the hotel there are lots not far away frome the hotel. totally the hotel is excellent.

La chambre était propre et spacieuse, mais sombre. Le personnel très gentil et efficace. Cependant, nous étions proche de la piscine où de la musique très forte était diffusée jusque tard dans la nuit.

La propreté laisse à désirer. La salle de bain vieillissante. Il faudrait un bon coup de rénovation. Quant au petit déjeuner quasi rien avec un manque d'hygiène certain. Je déconseille fortement cette hôtel.

Grundreinigung dringend angeraten. Frühstück ist nur für Übergewichtige gut, da sehr spartanisch (1x Käseecke, Margarine, 1x Marmelade, 1 Yogurt und manchmal ein Ei).. Abendessen fertig auf Teller serviert, aber erst ab 20 Uhr. Wenn man was davon nicht essen kann, Pech gehabt. Aber mehr kann man nicht verlangen bei einen Preis von 15 € bei Übernachtung mit Halbpension.

We were at Bizerte for business and plesure. Very sweet Staf and hotel owner. They would do all they could to make the stay comfortable for you. We even got help with finding a good lowyer. The hotel was clean and nice and close to old town. Recomend the hotel for its good service. Thanks again for everything to the hotel owner.

They cancelled my reservation and refused refund . Very unprofessional.

Habe doppelt bezahlen müssen und ich weiss nicht warum hatte es schon mit der Kreditkarte bezahlt und die Rezeption meinte ich hätte nicht über Kreditkarte bezahlt sehr ärgerlich doppelt bezahlt für nix eine Frechheit

Albergo accogliente, personale gentile. La pulizia della camera e degli ambienti comuni corrisponde allo standard tunisino. A l prezzo che si paga, non si può attendere di più.

La situation de cet hôtel est parfaite mais gâchée par le manque d'investissement et de courage dans les affaires de son propriétaire : tout est à l'économie, manque d'entretien, absence d'animations et d'activités, résultat: plus de personnels que de clients..... Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut avec le sourire mais c'est insuffisant pour redresser la situation Dommage car je le répète, la situation géographique de cet hôtel est idéale

I went from New York to Bizert. Hotel Sidi Salem is 10 minutes walk from downtown Bizerte and is located in front of a beach. which is rather deserted. I stayed there in December 2012 and January 2013 which is winter season in Tunisia and off season too.There are bunglow type rooms which are very clean. The breakfast is very simple which consists of coffee, boiled eggs,bread,croissant, butter and jam but no tea.There is a small refrigrator in the room too. The swimming pool is quite big but abonded. Perhaps will come to life in summer. The garden around swiming pool seems to be abondond too. The hotel staff is courtious and helpful. The internet is available in rooms which is an advantage if you are travelling with a laptop.The surroundings is very quiet. The price is good for convinient location and comfort. Ordinary - but off-season so basically neglected - might come to life in summer. Some friendly staff - breakfast of bolied eggs, bread and jam - no tea - or tea-making facilities...not even a microwave oven in sight!! - only cater to coffee drinkers. Rooms very basic BUT has internet access so if you carry a laptop - the best feature of the place. Nice walk to town from here and the beaches were deserted which was nice for us - biggest criticism - the rubbish and litter that surrounds the walkway and beach areas of an otherwise pretty place. Over-priced for off-season. Cramped - uncomfortable bed - but clean and good hot water supply. Would recommend for business travellers (internet access) - can get good food in town - some entertainment - quiet. Ours was a leisure/business trip so it suited us - not the place for a family vacation but could be different in summer, especially if they do some clean-up of the gardens/pool and general surrounds etc. The overall purpose was a visit to Bizerte - which we fell in love with - and will return...but will seek alternative accommodation.

This is the Bizerte resort hotel that is nearest to the Kasbar and old port, possibly the only one that is within walking distance. It's quiet location with parking makes it a good choice for a base for a couple of days touring, but the resort facilities are tired and the beach out the back was overrun with feral dogs. I took the (very cheap) half board option, the service was a bit lacking and the food poor, though for the price I didn't really expect it to be great. The biggest problem was that I was woken up at 7:10 by someone delivering my breakfast to the room. I don't know if this was a mistake or the normal procedure but it was far too early and it also means that there was no choice for breakfast which is normal in Tunisian resort hotels.
