Shilla Stay Gangnam Yeoksam

First of all, the staff were very polite and provided a great service. The location was convenient for my stay. The room was a decent size with clean and comfortable bed. As a person who prioritizes quiet room, it was pretty quiet during night time, so a bonus point here for a calm stay.

Not a complain, mind you that since the hotel was in the city, it's just surrounded by buildings.

La habitaciones limpias y confortables

The service at the reception upon arrival was not the best. When it was time to pay, the credit card machine did not work, and the receptionists’ attitude became quite rude. They then tried a different card machine, and my card worked without any problem. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that, after the payment went through, the receptionists commented to each other in Korean that “this always happens with foreigners,”. This made me wonder why, if they are already aware that the first card machine frequently causes problems with foreign customers, they do not simply use a machine that works with international cards from the beginning. Overall, it was a very stressful and unpleasant experience, made even worse by the attitude of the reception staff and the inappropriate comment they made in Korean.

Worthy of the price and even better than you could’ve expected for a four-star hotel.

The quality of the toilet paper could be better :)

The room was spacious and cozy, perfect for a solo traveler. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Gangnam and within easy walking distance of many popular spots. I especially enjoyed taking a peaceful morning stroll around the neighborhood near Choonghyun Church, which was a lovely way to experience the local atmosphere.

I wish I had a better view from the room. It would have been especially nice to have a room facing the church, as the view of the neighborhood would have added to the experience. The café on the first floor, Sorimsa Yeoksam, was a bit disappointing. It may have been because I visited early in the morning, but there wasn’t much fresh bread available. The bread I tried was served cold and seemed as though it had been refrigerated, which made it feel less fresh than I expected. Just to clarify, the café is not part of Shilla Stay Yeoksam, so this feedback is separate from the hotel itself. But the buffet at the Shilla Stay was very good!!

Størrelsen på værelset. God seng.

Der var beskidt. Kun 1 ud af 3 stik virkede. Lyset kunne ikke slukkes, uden at tage kortet ud. Kedelig og ensformig morgenmad. Slidt!

relatively quiet and convenient location 24hr front desk, staff very friendly and helpful decent room size with some amenities

still some noises at night and in early mornign but bearable we only had bath tub so make sure to ask for standing shower if you need one

Decent size rooms though a bit aged

Bad location for a tourist. The hotel is far from the subways, though there is a bus stop out the front the travel distance is often long. Not many food options within walking distance.

Rien

Great location, staff were friendly, rooms were clean, well kept, would stay again when visiting my daughter

Room was kept very clean.

Could have done with more cupboard space, storage space was adequate for a short stay but as we were there for two weeks we could have done with a bit more storage. Only used the restaurant once for breakfast and found we should have got there earlier, sausages and scrambled egg both empty and required to wait. You may say just bad timing but every thing else fully stocked. Don't know if the scrambled egg was ever re-stocked just had extra bacon.

I like the view of the room, where I can oversee a nice night scene from the window. The body care products in the bathroom are also great.

I would like to have the option of sparkling water for breakfast:)

Nothing

You get a very basic room and service, and the mattress hard like a rock.

Direi quasi niente

Is alright, nothing around the area

No ac in the hall way, way too hot. I don’t remember if elevator has ac or not

Very far from coex

I didn't like the service

Clean and very nice hotel room

A little outdated

Nothing special to mention

Super small room in an average hotel with a super expensive price

Poca cosa.

The hotel is excellent for the cost. Having a 7/11 and a cute cafe (definitely try the ice cream) is definitely a plus. The room is good and comfortable and everyone is very helpful. The room also has power points for EU/USA/Asia plugs which is very thoughtful.

The breakfast is good but repetitive. The room can get a bit warm at night. It would be amazing if you can provide a small fan if the guests require it.

Fantastic with troubleshooting and amazing staff, one of the best services you could ever receive. I felt so comfortable staying in this hotel, extended my stay. Everything is available and provided for you.

Condition of the building (nobody's fault), probably with age and use there were minor problems that are out of human controls but the staff does an absolutely amazing job to meed your needs.

Nothing

Everything not worth the price

Emplacement

All the staff were very polite, welcoming and extremely helpful

Rooms are a rather small

Near a 7 eleven and a cafe and also has a train station nearby.

More of a Business area so not much to see or do but you can still get to places easily

Nice and clean

None

Great location, friendly staffs

The room is a bit small

The room was clean, and the everyday housekeeping was great. I enjoyed breakfast very much. Excellent location!!

N/A

The bathroom is really nice. Very cozy shower. Great location, friendly staff.

The room was very small, and the beds were very small (twin size).

Great location, very convenient to get around due to very close proximity to subway and public bus. Cabs were easily available. Room was serviced daily and very clean. Breakfast was very good too. We enjoyed our stay.

Bed linen was very clean & comfortable , but duvets were old and broken with no filling in most parts. They need to be replaced . Also breakfast should be open until 10am on weekdays

.

.

The location is very good.

No critics.

NA

too small space compared to kangnam 아르느보, provista. Compared to these, the rental fee is very expensive. the map on the ad shows the location was close to 역삼역. But it was 15 minutes away from the hotel. It was deceptive and misleading. I got out of the hotel and moved to a different hotel.

I left my door wide open for a couple of hours, every items was remaining including iPad, jewelries and etc. what a surprise

Clean, comfortable

All good
