Picton Harbour Inn

This was my 2nd stay! Clean, beds and and linens are so comfy! It had snowed over night and woke up to snow being shoveled around my vehicle which was so appreciated! Will definately stay again and recommend. Thank you!

The establishment has a totally contactless approach. You are texted/emailed with an entry code on the day of your arrival. Be careful of the message that offers you entry an hour or two earlier than their 3 PM stated time - you'll be billed $10 if you naively accept. A telephone follow up (the only way you have the opportunity to see/talk to someone), lets you know that their "nickel and dime" philosophy is immutable.

Every time we travel to Picton, we stay at this inn because it is consistent in its welcome, cleanliness, excellent restaurant for breakfast, view of the harbour, and its convenient location. They continue to upgrade the experience by investing in decor and security. We’d never consider staying anywhere else.

A friend and I enjoyed a mid week visit to Picton and stayed at this well located, clean, comfortable inn. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and most have a nice view of the harbour. The automated booking via their website and virtual communication is seamless and welcoming. The staff we did interact with were also very friendly and helpful. Beds are quite comfortable with lots of pillow options and selections. It’s well located just a few minutes walk into downtown Picton and an easy, affordable one or two night stay for couples or friends.

Located right in the downtown, this place is great to explore the PEC. The hotel is clean and the marina is beautiful. Check-in was without issues

This place is a favorite of my gf and I we try to stay there at least 3 or 4 times a year. The price has jumped considerably but it is still a favorite of ours highly recommend.

Well located, quiet, lovely view over Picton Harbour.

Nice view, right in the harbour. Downtown shopping and lots of places to eat are all within a 5 minute walk. Rooms were very clean.

It is a standard room, nothing special

Stayed here 3 years ago and was impressed then. Looks like some renovations have been done. Still great place. Close enough to walk to main street shops. Staff are wonderful. Restaurant is attached and always busy. Reasonably priced. Great food and great service!

Room was large and clean. No view and the road outside is extremely noisy. This is room 308 and I would try to avoid it :-)

Such a pretty location. Our easy access to the sunny patio beside the harbour was delightful. The room was comfortable and very clean. We were disappointed that the dining room/restaurant was too full for us to have breakfast. We should have in put a request for a table ahead of time.

Very clean and beautiful location

We decided last minute to go on a motorcycle ride to Picton to enjoy amazing weather. Went on-line and Picton Harbour Inn seemed to be perfect fit for us. We headed out on the ride and stopped at the Drake Devonshire for lunch (excellent!) delaying a bit until 3pm. While we were finishing up a fabulous lunch and amazing view, I received an email saying our room was ready, and all the details on our room #, door code, wi-fi password and so much more. We took our time getting there choosing some windy backroads to get there. We arrived and parked the motorcycle right in front of our room. Easy access and the room was clean, modern basically perfect. We had a lovely view of the harbour and walked around a bit. Then headed into Picton and walked a long way to check out the town of boutique shops, restaurants and more. The pillows are amazing and everything is white and clean. Had breakfast in the hotel was also amazing and our servers (they don't seem to have assigned tables) were super friendly and the western was perfect. Overall great view, location, well organized and easy in and out!

My wife has been feeling quite ill over the past several days, and awoke this morning still feeling the same, despite our hopes that she would have recovered. So I called the Picton Harbour Inn to cancel our reservation for two nights there. The person on the line from the Inn was very courteous indeed and agreed to an emergency-based cancellation. We had both been looking forward to this time away together.

Stunning location close to downtown Picton! The rooms are tidy and comfortable. Parking was easy and accessible. Rooms are quite small, but they do a good job with furniture and decor to make the area feel more spacious. Biggest issue (only issue really) was how insanely bright the lights outside were. Without blackout curtains we had to use the painters tape we found in our car to help darken the room at night. The harbour was stunning and everything was so clean and well thought out in the docking area.

Front desk was so helpful and kind. Excellent location and the area along the waterfront was so beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, safe property with polite and helpful staff. When we booked it we expected a better appointed property We paid 400$ a night for a motel room While we appreciate its high season the cost was much too high for a motel

The view of the harbour from the balcony was wonderful. The room was clean with a microwave, mini fridge and a Keurig coffee maker with pods provided. The location to the Main Street was convenient and walkable where there were many restaurants, shops and a movie theatre.

Beautiful view of the Picton Harbour from the Rosebud Suite. Check in was a breeze and Jeremy was very helpful with his texts regarding check-in availability. Comfortable bed and clean room. Only complaint is the location of the AC right next to the bed. Very loud and cold breeze for the person sleeping on that side of the bed.

Very basic rooms and our shower had mould at the bottom, and water leaked all over the floor after each use. The bathroom door was very noisy and wouldn’t close properly. Just find it overpriced for what it was. Beautiful location though and right by the harbour and downtown Picton.

Its an old motel with fresh lipstick. Nice but expensive for what it is.

Ideal location.Our room overlooked the harbour and the property is a 5 min walk to downtown Picton.We enjoyed a great dinner at the Royal and the breakfast at the Lighthouse was also first rate. The check in/check out was easy and efficient.The staff were courteous and helpful.Would highly recommend as a base for your Prince Edward Country stay.

What we like more is the staff sevices. People are very " gentil"

The Picton Harbour Inn is a treasure. It has lovely rooms with views of the Harbour and is a short walk to Main Street which features lots of shopping and wonderful restaurants. As it's on the Harbour, you can walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the boats, turtles, swans and ducks. We stayed in the Alexandria Suite which was bright and full of natural light, has 2 bedrooms, roomy livingroom/kitchen area with lots of thoughtful amenities, and a full bathroom with shower/tub. There was even a private courtyard included with an iron table and benches. The Suite was clean, well organized, very quiet and the beds were comfy. The staff was kind, helpful, and easy to find. If you're visiting Picton, this is a first choice for accommodations.

I was sure I booked a king bed and we ended up queen bed. Being just for one night, we did not debate it.

Great place for a family to stay. Lots of restaurants close by and less than 20 minutes to the sandbanks. They happily printed our sandbanks pass for us when we forgot to do it ourselves before leaving home.

Desk staff were very helpful. Housekeeping did not tidy the room or replace used cups and glasses. The only service we got was replacement of towels. Very disappointing considering what we paid for 3 nights.

The harbour view was lovely. The balcony floor and wall was dirty. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Check in and out very efficient.

A bit expensive for what you get but the property and the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice views over the Harbour. Great communication with staff pre arrival. Had some issues with the A/C during the night but otherwise it worked fine.

We had a great time here! Lovely marina views and walkable to the picton strip. A perfect getaway from the city! The last we communicated with for our check in and check out was great!

We stayed on the third floor, but I didn't realize it had only outdoor flights of stairs to reach a door from the third floor outdoor hallway. There was just a corner inside the building that served as the check-in/registration desk. The bathroom could do with a makeover (maybe the rugs, too). However, the very comfortable beds, pillows and linens made up for the above. This photo is correct except for the wooden flooring that wasn't in our room. The restaurant in the downstairs, was excellent as were all the staff. We had such a pleasant server on the days were were there. However, everyone of the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay again and reoommend this hotel.

The room was clean and had a comfortable temperature. No smells. Bed was nice and soft. Loved the Lighthouse Restaurant adjacent to the hotel, excellent breakfast meal.

We had a great breakfast on the property and brought food back to the picnic tables beside the waterfront. It was quiet and a peaceful view. We would return and give a favourable recommendation to friends and family.

No frills accommodation well-situated on picturesque marina in lovely Picton. Rooms are dated and very small with a fridge that doesn’t get very cold. There is absolutely no storage for your belongings ie no dresser or night-table or bathroom vanity. Beds and linens could be better. Shower has surprisingly very good water pressure though. Restaurant’s breakfast is very good and reasonably priced and the staff are extremely efficient and friendly.

Wonderful find - warm and friendly staff in all parts of the Inn and restaurant who were attentive to our needs. Everything was easy and convenient - check in, checkout, changes, parking, food. Short walk to restaurants and shops. The room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Lovely view of the harbour. Will return for sure.

It was a really lovely, centrally located, clean, comfortable and super friendly place to stay. The staff is amazing and are very quick to ask if there is anything you need to make your stay better. The onsite breakfast/lunch restaurant is AMAZING. Best breakfast in Picton. The only thing we missed was they would benefit from a better tv selection like Netflix or Prime. You couldn't tell what was on each station and there were no movie or series options. Its nice at night to settle in and watch a movie or pick up your fave series. Otherwise, it was lovely.

Great location & stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the Picton Harbour Inn! Lovely little hotel right at the end of Main St, so an easy walk into town. A few places were closed as not quite in season (middle of May) but it was busy enough and most pubs/restaurants were open. The hotel staff were brilliant - very friendly, polite and professional. The room itself was great. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again and we would recommend it to anyone heading to PEC!

The place is located at the heart of Picton, very close to the marina, the local shops and the town’s wonderful restaurants. The rooms and washrooms are very spacious and are immaculately and you have everything that you need during your stay. The Lighthouse restaurant at the inn offers the best breakfast I had in years. Our group ordered The Big Bay for each of us and it was superb! Prices are very reasonable too! Highly recommended to stay here during your trip to the PEC!

The location was great but rooms, although updated with modern furnishings, was small. And, no closet! Not enough space for 3 women.

Location is excellent. Really nice clean room with a super comfortable king bed!! Would stay again for sure. But do yourself a favour and bring your own pillow because the hotel ones are brutal.

we had a very good stay. no issues what so ever. just found it odd that the dinning room was not open for dinner

It is not a bad place to stay, but not great value. My biggest gripe is that I don't like a room advertised as a "suite" when it is just a larger version of a regular room. That is not what most people think of as a suite. Noisy! We could follow conversations from the room beside us. The air-conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off. Housekeeping forgot creamer/sugar for our coffee morning 2. Other than that, the staff was nice. The place was fairly clean and the small restaurant had decent breakfast fare.

We had a one night stay. We basically got in late slept and checked out. We loved breakfast at the restaurant. We were very disappointed with the person that checked us in. We stood at the counter for quite sometime before we were acknowledged more than 10 minutes. She answered the phone helped the person before even saying hello. Then it felt like we were scolded because we did not get the check in text. That text came at 11pm the night we checked in. After all this the code we received to open the door did not work. Our early check in was to help us refresh after our drive. We ended up being late to the wedding that we were attending.

Hotel was in a great location. Room was clean inside. Restaurant was great. Patio was pretty dirty. Room had a heavy smell of smoke. View was nice, no pool as advertised.

We were on the 1st floor. The room above us was so noisywith thumping and walking.we went to sleep just after q1 and still nousey. You should have carpeting on the 2 and 3rd floors to muffle the noise.

The location is quite lovely, looking out onto the harbour. The staff were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

This is an old-school, small-town hotel with a lot of charm. The location is great, especially if you have a balcony room looking over the harbour. It's a very short walk to downtown Picton, with its shops, services and restaurants. That's a real bonus if you want to indulge in some County wines, beers and/or ciders with your dinner without worrying about the risks of driving impaired. PEC is very short on reasonably priced accommodation, and the Picton Harbour Inn delivers good value. It's not luxurious, but it is very comfortable and the staff are kind and helpful. If you're looking for a super luxury stay, go elsewhere (and pay three times the price for a room). But if you appreciate comfort, quiet and a waterfront location at a decent price, you'll find it here. Oh, and be sure to have breakfast at the onsite restaurant. Portions are huge, service is quick, and quality is top-notch. Go early as it's very popular with locals and fills up quickly. I'll be back without any hesitation.

Pretty town and area and beds super comfy and easy access
