We didn’t have a kitchen

Kitchen had everything we needed, clean room, clean bed, book in was great they put us in a beter room.

The property is lovely, picturesque, and perfect to rest by the water and catch a magnificent sunset . My only comment is that the room we stayed in is due for an update .. The carpet maybe and the room had a musty ( dog with bad skin) smell ... The lovely staff and retaurant and grounds and quiet spot made up for this , though.

While the location was really lovely, the accommodation was sub-par. The bathroom was just plain dirty. The screens were buckled and didn’t keep insects out. The place was musty and smelled of smoke. The pull out bed’s mattress was absolutely disgusting with huge stains in various areas. There were weird ceiling angles everywhere and we bumped our heads quite forcefully. So hard, in fact, that I seriously might have a neck injury. Time will tell. At $619 for two nights, I feel like we were seriously ripped off. Very, very disappointed. The restaurant, wedding venue, meal, etc., were excellent. Too bad that didn’t carry over into the accommodations.

Overall, good accommodation, however, the resort is clearly in need of some upgrades.

We enjoyed our stay, and breakfast at the Piller and Post was nice.

Came for a seminar with a professional group. We have had it here for many years, always good.

Close to different vineyards, rooms are big but old. Needs some renovation. The stairs were hard to go up and down

It seemed the area we were in was set aside for guests that booked for guests that did not book through the resort. The staff were friendly but our room was less than comfortable.

The staff was super nice, the beach facing lodge room was perfect. We were able to stargaze at nice on the beach. Was super comfortable and peaceful. The restaurant is pricey but the food is AMAZING! If you want a quiet relaxing getaway, you’ll love this. The lodge room is the better than the one with the jacuzzi.

Great place to stay! Multiple buildings that have been nicely updated and maintained. Great character in the rooms. Easy to access sandbanks by car. Great views. The restaurant on sight was incredible. And the outdoor (heated) pool was awesome. Will stay here again and recommend it highly!

Basically spent all our time on the beach. We stayed in beach house 1. Two floors with spectacular views of the water. Outdoor deck steps right onto the beach. We were pleased with the mini-kitchen and had we known there was also a propane grill we could have had a barbecue. (Next time)

Greenery

Well located to visit Picton and other towns in the area like Bloomfield. A country atmosphere, rural and quite. Property was nice to walk around, the woods and the beach. Parking was convenient for easy unloading and packing to check out. Check in and check out were easy and quick and staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was nice but the screens on the porch need work. Whenever our upstairs neighbours took a shower it was very noisy in our room. A lot of the buildings on the property could use a sprucing up - paint job and general outside cleaning. The Knoll restaurant was nice and convenient and for variety it was easy to drive to town. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Building was rundown and not clean in common areas

Room was dated and not totally clean. Hall outside room had debris and was not clean.

Location was very picturesque! Rooms were very cling however could use a major update. Restaurant was very nice. Had breakfast and enjoyed.

This hotel was such a great find! Loved staying here! The kids LOVED exploring the resort and everything it had to offer. We stayed there for a quick trip to Sandbanks. Dune Beach is just about a 45 mins walk. Beautiful pool. Sadly, didnt get a chance to check out their lovely pool-sidr restaurant. Next time! Cause there will definitely be a next time!

Very outdated - notably for the price.

Overall property including restaurant very run down. We used to vacation at Isaiah every year just for the convenient location for biking to Sandbanks. Just returned to Isaiah this year after a 3 year hiatus and it is very dirty. Nothing has been touched. Beach never raked, restaurant dirty, limited drinks (no cocktails), rooms very outdated

It was second time to isaia tubs and we appreciate again. Bed is good, kitchenette to, resto nice whit amazing look over the lake. It's near to sandbank park. That's we like.

Stayed on the first floor but I could hear every step of the guests staying upstairs above me.

Everything was great . Restaurant could open a little earlier for breakfast

It was clean. Quiet. But it wasn’t perfect

Great for families. Have a lovely pool, tennis courts, basketball court, private beach, and restaurant on site. Rooms are a bit dated, but great for families who want to visit sandbanks and dont want to camp. Would definitely go back.

No A/C in the only restaurant. Not enough staff, the poor waitress had no backup whatsoever. Did like the sea water pool.

The Isaiah Tubbs Resort was a good location directly on the Westlake beach. The resort is a bit older but very clean and family friendly. New pool.

over paid for a room by a busy road . the pictures showed lake views...was not the case. Won't be going again!

The view was amazing

We were pleasantly surprised with our Beach House suite featuring, front door parking, two levels of living space with a back deck that had a short step onto the sandy beach that had full reclining loungers. The spacious lower level of the suite had a powder room, a pull out bed sofa, a reading chair with an ottoman, coffee table, an electric fireplace, a television vision and sideboard, dining table and chairs, an adequate kitchenette (except no stove), glasses, dishes, cutlery, a Keurig and pods, sink, toaster, electric kettle, and a mini fridge. Upper level had a king size bed, a large closet, a large armoire with a television, a large bathroom with a combined shower and jacuzzi bath. The water pressure was great and once the hot water had a few minutes to run through the system it was also great! The view towards West Lake was spectacular with the wall to wall windows on the lower and upper! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing! The front desk and room attendants were great! We were sad to leave after our week stay! 11/10 rating!

Very nice and quiet lakefront property, we enjoyed our stay

property is very "tired" and in need of some refresh. Price for our room was way above the quality. Our room had a great view of the parking lot and was close to the road and was far away from the lake and restaurant. Restaurant was reasonable and next to the water. Would prefer to rent a cottage next time for the same price.

Good. We were in the Annex, second floor. The door window should have better blinds because light was passing through them easilly during the night. The staff was very friendly. Ice was available at the front desk.

The unit I stayed in was private with no neighbors on either side of me. That was great as it was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable; however, the jets on the tub weren’t very powerful and it would have been helpful if the chains on the ceiling fan were long enough to be able to pull to change speed, direction, etc.

It’s better than camping but very basic. Well located to visit the national park and restaurant and microbrewery at walking distance were great.

There were not enough towel in the room. When we asked they didn't bring extra towel although they would. The water of pool was cold and there wete no towel there.

Only got to spend one night. Room was nice. I wish I planned to stay and explore more. Just note the bugs around these parts - bring insect repellent 😅

Super convenient and better than expected. 5 minutes driving to the sand banks and 10 minutes to Ontario Lake.

The hotel was good. We stayed in the annex. We didn’t really feel comfortable with the blind on the door and the light from the hallway was very bright and lit up our room. The room itself was very nice and we had a lot of room.

What a beautiful location on the lake! Room was very clean.

We very much enjoyed the location and the serenity. Would come back again.

Maintenance and trimming could have been better

The location and the size of the room was big. The rooms were very clean. Loads of parking.

It was more than we expected even although the weather could have been better. Right on the beach, house was clean and well equiped. This is not a complaint but a $2 ice cube holder in the fridge is called for. We plan to return with two friends August or September. All good.

Great view of the lake . Our unit was away from the main road so it was very quiet.

In general was ok, but for sure I didnt appreciate the expired coffee capsules, the beeping of the smoke detector all night long, no tv signal, spider webs in every corner, ants wherever you put a drink, dirty fridge but what really was unconvenient was the bathroom... its a capsule, no fan to refresh it! The lake its amazing, but the property needs to do a lot of improvements

It was a very nice place. It was close to the restaurant and lake. It was a relaxing stay. Staff was very friendly.

We stayed in the Annex building close to the entrance for one night. The stairwell and the hallway were dingy and not exactly clean, with strong musty smell. Honestly, I'm not picky, but the pillows were horrid. It all looked cheap and old. The lake/beach are a few minutes' walk from the entrance to the property is fine. Nothing special and not comparable to the Sandbanks beaches. Likely would not stay there again.

It has a lot of potential to be so much more. A lot of incomplete landscaping and yard work need to be done. Rooms well taken care of tho I could hear the people above me the next morning

We reached at night and felt it should have enough surrounding lights that could help us to find registration desk and our lodge. We reached at night and left early morning so could not explore anything but we love the best view of lake surrounded by this hotel.
