Fine art as hotel looks as museums. But there is risk issue on it. Those people in spa had suspicious activity they do. They locked the treatment spa room after your coming I thought for privacy but they invited you with illegal therapy

Invite you in illegal therapy is dangerous act as they offered pijat plus plus by touching the area

ホテル全体で醸し出す雰囲気が良かった。働く方々の笑顔がよく、こちらが英語が不得意なのも理解して、丁寧に対応してくれた。朝食が、スタンダードから地元のメニュー等バラエティに富み、美味しかった。部屋も、ゆったりした雰囲気で、くつろぐことができた。

浴槽を使ったのですが、フロア（バストイレ）の水漏れが大きかった（シャワーだけなら問題ないと思うが）。それ以外は、特に不都合な点はなかった。

My friends and I had a great time staying at this Hotel, its rooms are a touch dated however the prices and environment, especially friendly staffs all well made up for any short coming, recommended no doubt.

Loud music in the lobby. Not enough water coming out of the shower. Water not hot enough. Bad breakfast. Croissants were rock hard. Tables not set up. No knives. This is not the standard of a 5 star hotel.

for a very similar price you can certainly find hotel which is not under construction with all working facilities. it was not written that the sky lounge is closed due to construction, also pool is closed 17h. when on business trip just not worth checking if hotel has pool, when booking since you can not enjoy it anyway. food was also very mediocre.

Location and perfection hotel

The owner is Art Collector and wonderful Art around the hotel and inside the rooms. Rooms are newly renovated.

Some areas, like sauna under construction. The Executive Lounge was closed, because we were the only once who booked a suite. To make it good, they brought some food to our rooms.

Excellent hotel in Semarang City with nice interior design. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. There's also a convenience store nearby.

location is excellent for rest after 6 hrs driving from Jakarta. breakfast is good variety and amount.

in room dining is not available after 21:00 hrs. after long distance driving light dinners.

in the hotel is an excellent Chinese restaurant. and the breakfast buffet is nice.

The hotel is quite old and it is difficult to think at Grand Candi as a real 5 stars hotel, but the price for sleeping there was ok so I cannot complain too much

Extremely nice boutique hotel with very friendly staff. Nice room with great view over the mountains . Easy access to the city center and other places of interest.

Beautiful lobby. Quick check in check out service, strategic location, spacious room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom with hot water running. To me it is a good value for money. Recommended for a transit or short stay. Did not try the breakfast though but a lot of cafes nearby.

A bit smelly, so we brought our car air freshener.

Grand Candi is an unpretentious hotel catering mainly to Indonesian population. The hotel looks tired, with faded decor and a strong smell of air freshener to disguise the old and scruffy furniture. The room I stayed in was clean and the bed comfortable. The drain in the bathroom overflowed every morning, spreading dirty water across the floor but this was a plumbing issue rather than one of routine maintenance. The food caters to Asian tastes and Westerners would be disappointed if they expected to see familiar options at breakfast. The poolside was horrendous - 3 heavy wooden sun loungers without cushions, one parasol rusted into a concrete stand, an abundance of ants and a 'poolside bar' which amounted to a hole in the wall with no service. Furniture outside was very uncomfortable. Inside was the gym which was basic, to say the least, but both pool and gym tend to be poorly attended so maybe not enough to be worth the cost of refurb. There was an excellent sauna and a spa that offered very good and accommodating massage, although the environment was not very conducive. But shining through all of this like a beacon was the hotel staff. Indonesian people are, by nature, friendly and eager to please and I cannot fault their attempts to make my (2-week) stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble; perhaps it was the novelty of having a Brit in the house, who knows? Fiy An, Augustin and Billy on the concierge desk shuttled me daily to my workplace in the car and back. In the bar, Anastasia and her trainee sidekick (Diane) together with YahYaha and Wayou were particularly delightful, as was Nanik. It was unfortunate that the bar area was almost permanently clouded in cigarette smoke. The Reception staff were fiercely professional and accurate, as well as eager to please. All in all my 2-week stay was made more than tolerable by the wonderful and friendly hotel staff. My room was clean and comfortable and the facilities were perfectly useable, if a little tired. My recommendation would be to have a smoking area in the hotel that did not mean having to wade through acrid smoke to enjoy a drink. It would also save the health of the bar staff who cannot escape.

The room smell smoke, even we ask with no smoking hotel, also it is too old hotel, the price not equivalent with the quality, with the such a higher price, the facilities should be more, such as bathub.

It was a great time to stayed at the hotel. I love the art that show at the lobby. I like the breakfast menu, lots of variant. The hotel staffs are very kind and helpful. The hotel has a swimming pool facility so i can swim before start my day.

good hotel to stay at semarang for a long day, for the breakfast menu please put more variant to choose, and for the Room please make over for some old room, but anyway overall is good to stay at Grand candi hotel.

Bed room was clean and fine for me. But It was not the case for the bathroom. And hot water doesn't come out of shower which wasn't a big deal due to the climate here though.

Really time to upgrade.. it s a global failure.

Located on highland of Semarang area, we could seen the view of Semarang City. Old styles building, make us memorable with the past. Last visit more than 10 years ago, but the hotels kept on track with good services, completed breakfast, clean rooms, good price. Very recommended hotel for stay, in any occassion.

Got bad small from towel & room, too much water noisy from restroom

Staff was very nice. Cleanliness was not acceptable. Bed sheets were stained. Shower curtain dirty as if it was never washed since it was hung. Towels were dingy, could use some bleach or brand new towels. Very disappointing for a so called 4-5 star hotel. Would not recommend staying here if cleanliness is important to you.

A nice hotel in a good location....good breakfast too, I stayed there for business purposes and I had plenty of meetings in the lounge and breakfast area, really convenient. The gym and swimming pool is a bonus and close to good restaurants

I came here with my colleagues for business. It is a five-star hotel at semarang city. It’s quite far for the center of the city. The service at the hotel was very good. They are all kind and very warm to welcome us, during the stay, and after we checked out. They also offered shuttle to the city few times a day. The breakfast at their hotel reataurant also tasted good and they offered quite a lot variety of foods from indonesian food, asian like dumplings, japanese for their sushi, western, and american breakfast. The room was quite big. The choices for their tv channel had a lot of varieties. But there is one problem during our stay there. The bathroom was okay, but the towels were dirty and smell bad. But the overall rating if you only go for business is very good. The foods are very good, the room is good, the services are very good, if you may, please fix the towels only. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you for serving us with your utmost hospitality.

I often stay at this hotel when returning to Semarang, because it is close to a family home. the thing i like: 1. Good breakfast and varied food 2. parking is quite spacious 3. many sports facilities, swimming pools, gyms, tennis courts, or just walking around the hotel area this hotel is suitable for family travelers who bring their own cars. The location is not in the city center so it is relatively quiet to rest, no need for rooms with beautiful outdoor views.

Nice place and comfort for family traveller. Close to traditional food. Little bit far from downtown semarang. Good and polite staff. Breakfast need more menu. Some decoration need to be improved and change with new ones

I have stayed in this hotel twice in the past several years. Positive points: Breakfast is quite good with a variety of foods Negative points: Location is pretty far away from the center of Semarang; condition of the room is deteriorating; receptionists on the front desk are not that friendly.

At first, I booked a non smoking room and given a smoking room instead. Then I booked extra bed in advanced but they did not get the request so we have to wait. The access card went for an error also I cannot get in my room. At last, they charged me for the extra bed even I already booked it through agent in advanced. After we paid with credit card, they called us that it was their mistake and they need the pin of my card to void the transaction. + location + okay room

The hotel is quite old need to upgrade

stayed here a few times. but this time the centralised aircond got worse. not cold enough,stuffy(coldest 24°C) and looks like not getting fixed anytime soon. stuck for 5 nights. Later to find out that the Hotel Management purposely turned down the aircond to save costs and very very reluctant to make it cooler. Dont stay there unless u like it warm. I managed to pressure Pak Bambang to instruct for cooler settings and got a much cooler 2nd night only. infact the whole hotel got colder. For the rest of my 5 nights stay....back to normal Costs savings settings. They even put on a show before setting it colder. sent technitions to "fix" the AC and changed room from 321 to 319 then 301. Horrible treatment for me. Lee Ming TYE (7th to 12th June 2018) Malaysia

Hotel needs a renovation. The rooms are old and the bathrooms are still fitted with an old and smelly shower curtain. The fitness centre has a very bad smell and only poor equipment. I walked out and cancelled the plan to do sport. Breakfast OK. Staff nice. On request the serve fresh coffee from the machine.

We were having a training with participants coming from every corner of Indonesia, and we were not the only group at that time that stayed there. There were three more groups yet the hotel staff were able to coordinate the pick up from airport where the arrival time of 70 some people were different one from the other and every day the hotel shuttle worked to drop us off n pick us up at venue as was the services for theother groups in different venues. Granted there were some little mishaps here and there but considering d hectic and many details of which the hotel staff had to worked on ... they did a spendid job. Yes we were happy to have stayed there.

Overall building maintainance is good despite it is an old hotel. Bathroom shower is not friendly especially for ladies as the old fashioned head shower is not able to be adjusted so it makes the water is too 'sharp' for the skin, anyway it's still ok to close the eyes. But the most unacceptable one is the curved mattress that really worst for those who have back problem. This is an important issue since a comfortable sleep is the 1st reason why people would think to come back. Really the mattress must be renewed!

Terrible experience of this hotel.. My booking was confirmed by his staff by phone, but the hotel refuse any responsibility.... Even though my booking was free cancellation, I did not take action to cancel my booking, because hotel staff confirmed to change the booking Date. I really angry about this attitude.... I will never book this hotel again....

周りは若干レストラン等がありますが、周りは住宅街なので静かに過ごせます。また、部屋はいたって普通です。若干古いですがまあまあです。

침대의 청결상태가 최악. 베게에 찌든때까 끼어 있고 화장실 변기 상태도 좋지 않음, 침대 및 기타 가구에 먼지가 두껍게 내려 앉음. 언제 청소 했는지도 모를정도.완전 비추천

I will stay this hotel when i stay im semarang. I can watch nhk world premium and comfortable bed.

위치나 서비스등은 마음에 들었으나 내가 묵은 303호실은 노후된 세면대와 욕조에서 물이 흘러나와 잠깐의 샤워에도 화장실 문앞까지 물이 흥건해졌다 같이 간 다른 손님 방인 216,7(?)호실에서는 첫날 샤워한 후 물이 화장실밖까지 흘러나와 다른 방으로 요청했는데 2박 후 체크아웃할때 흐른 물로 인한 공사비를 내라며 350만루피를 요구, 프론트직원은 영어가 거의 안통했으며 인도네시아어로 조목조목 따지며 또다른 손님방의 화장실하수구의 남자주먹보다 큰 머리카락 덩어리를 확인시켜주자 놀란 표정이었음. 그래도 풀부킹이라며 이방의 공사로 인해 손님을 받을수 없다며 계속 돈을 요구해서 비행기 시간에 쫓겨 70만루피를 계산해주었다 수많은 나라의 수많은 호텔을 다녀봤지만 이런 황당한 경우는 처음 이 호텔에 묵으시려면 화장실 대청소를 해주고 싶거나, 방 하나를 수리해줄 의향이 아니라면 가지마세요 인도네시아의 좋은 인상이 다 없어지게 만드는 호텔이었음

毎回このホテルに泊まりますが、別に不快におもったこともなく。値段も格安で泊まれてとても気日程ます。次回もこのホテルに宿泊します。

スマラン滞在時はいつも利用するホテルです。場所は、車がないといけないところですが清潔で一応全部そろっているホテルです。周りはレストランはS2というレストランと韓国レストランがあります。
