Great location as it is near to tourist attraction which takes about 5 minutes to reach the Ciwalk and the shopping mall. The room is comfortable to stay for 5 nights and worth the value

Bantal lama, span bantal sudah tidak comfort. Towel mandi keras, warna putih sudah jadi warna abu. Wifi dlm bilik kadang ada, kadang hilang.

The view from my window was quite nice and it’s located not far from a shopping mall which is handy for a family with children. Also it’s only walking distance from 24 hrs Burger King outlet.

The sofa was dirty with stains and the room needs to to have a deep cleaning.

Shower is not 100%. Cannot fully select either shower or tap. Always both will have water. Hot water not 100%. Lobby look dull. Breakfast at basement. Not many choice.

the first night, our floor was full. we couldn’t sleep almost all night because very very noisy. the guests seats in the corridor and made lots of noise , the breakfast only suits local not for westerns

After reading all the reviews, I decided to take my chances by booking this hotel and it pays off. Simply put it, we had a great time here. Especially on how inexpensive we paid for the rooms. Room were well maintained. Spacious too. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Nice breakfast served daily. On the negative side, they should provide iron for usage by the patron instead of charging us for ironing our clothes.

Basic room standard. Cheap. But not luxurious.... Room is old thou..... Needs a bit of upgrades. Near to shopping areas. If not fussy and hope is only to have a place to sleep this is it...... stayed here a night only.

Stay for the 1st time on 3rd floor, i slept at 11.45pm, it was very noisy on the upstair (door slammed 2x, something heavy shifted several times, people laughing, glass fall). First i thought the noise came from other room, i call receptionist at 01.32 am to change my room, it was rejected. Then i call the receptionist to hear what i heard and also i check the sound from nearby room, there was so quite, and i asked where the noise come from. I asked is there any activity upstair, he said yes, there was other employee upstair. I asked him to inform them not to make noise, and he said very sorry. After that, it was so quite, no more noise. I will never come back to this hotel, terrible!!

My mum and I were in Bandung on a private tour organised by an agent from Singapore. He booked us this hotel and we were supposed to stay for three nights. Room: The room was most basic, with only a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo provided. The shower was clogged with clumps of hair, and the floor was sticky and stunk of urine. It really smelt like a public toilet. Staff: The staff were mostly unable to speak English, even the most basic words that one would expect a staff in the hospitality industry to know. Our night was horrible as there were groups of local children running up and down the corridor. One group sat on the floor right outside our room and were laughing and shouting through the night. We went out several times through the night to ask them to move, but they refused to. We called the concierge for help, but they didn't understand my complaints about it being "noisy", instead repeating over and over that I wanted "coffee". Instead of asking the children to quieten down, the staff came to our room and asked to fix our room light?????? AT 2AM NO LESS. It was outrageous, and we were unable to get any sleep that night. The next morning we went down and requested to either move room or check out early, but even that the staff did not understand, so we just packed up and left. Food: The one breakfast we had there was dismal. The food was cold, and there was very limited variety. The dining area is at the Basement 2 level. The walls of the dining area were covered in black mould. Didn't eat much because the food looked quite sad. Ordered mie goreng from room service, it was soaked in oil. We left our empty plate outside our door at 5pm on our first day, it was not cleared when we checked out 9am the next day (despite the many staff coming and going). All in all a horrid experience and will never return.

Got shoved here after our rooms at Green Batara were given away without any rhyme or reason. Upon check in, discovered stains on the bedsheets and requested for replacement. Housekeeping took almost 1 hour to respond. Requested for hair dryer, had to call down after half an hour to remind them then it was brought to the room. Also requested for extra pillows and was told "sold out" after the reminder call. Breakfast was bleah, you are better off eating outside.

Stayed here for 3 nights and have no complaints whatsoever. Hotel is a 5-min walk away from Cihampelas Walk abd other shopping outlets. Other hotels near this hotel are Aston, Fave and Sensa. Room is reasonably spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Aircon worked perfectly well. T.V. had loads of channels. Lots of power sockets all over the room. Internet connection is a little dodgy, can't connect during peak hours. Wifi signal strength is ok near the reception though. Bathroom is a little cramped. The tap head kept dropping off and I'm sure there were many others who experienced the same as I heard a number of clangs during my stay. Staff are very courteous, helpful and friendly. My request for an extended checkout was granted without a fuss even though they were running full. My only complaint about this hotel is the front of the hotel which is more like a bus station for the XTrans van service. Doesn't give the hotel a nice look at all. The management should think of installing a glass door to prevent the noise and smoke from polluting the lobby area. Breakfast is disappointing. No egg corner. Lots of people crowd the lobby area at times. For the price paid, this hotel is an absolute steal.

Stayed there for one night during the Pocari Sweat West Java Marathon 2018, since most hotels near Gedung Sate had been sold out even months ago. I chose this hotel, considering its affordable price, less than 300k incl. breakfast. Find XTrans mark where this hotel as bus pool too. It's located near Ciwalk shopping mall, offering various restaurant/cafe and cinema, many distro/factory outlets along the Cihampelas street and there is minimarket nearby. The check-in was quick, and I got room on 1st floor. Spacious room with comfortable double bed, the bathroom is clean, international tv channels, electric kettle and window with flyover bridge view. However, some tiles are broken, quite annoying, need to be replaced. There are various menu for breakfast, such as Fried rice with chicken and vegetables, Porridge, Toasted bread with jams, Salad, Fruits, Orange water and "kolak, traditional desserts". It was good taste. Overall, I would definitely come back to this hotel for overall experience, good location and price.

Im traveling with my family members including of my parents. When we arrives the hotel for check-in and suddenly.. the receptionist lady said they already give my rooms to others. this is very ridiculous. The receptionist promise to upgrade our rooms and transfer to other hotel which means under same company Green Batara Hotel. They send us to the Green Batara hotel and after 30mnt of waiting.. AGAIN they said no rooms for us. this is really heartbreaking. and they send us back again to De Batara. @#%^&*( (imagine me with my parents and big luggage) After 2 hrs of waiting in the lobby (they are cleaning our room) AND AGAIN, they said the rooms is not ready, something leaking what so ever and they promise to find the hotel or apartment nearby to replace our two rooms. after all the drama that the receptionist promise to us. they send us to apartment 15mnt from the hotel. and ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT. we have to checkout tomorrow morning and stay again in De Batara Hotel. THIS IS BAD..

Budget Hotel with great location and spacious room. their breakfast simple but good. staff really friendly and helpful. near from city walk and sky walk at Cihampelas area. close with airport and their one group with shuttle travel x-trans i thought, coz the shuttles park in front of the lobby entrance.

The hotel is conveniently located amidst shopping hub of Jl. Cihampelas. Akso very close to the airport. At a first glance it appears more like a bus station where travelers are awaiting for destination like Jakarta and other cities. The hotel front desk is next to the travel desk. The check-in was smooth with a welcome drink. The room n bathroom is quite small with clean linen and modern amenities. The complimentary breakfast spread is very good serving indo menu to continental. Recommended for budget travelers in transit.

I choose de batara is because i got a very great rate for there value. The hotel is one place together with the travel shuttle x trans, so when you get in the hotel you will see a lot of people there. There are nothing special with the check in process. When i trying to open to door, the sensor key aren't working. So i coming back to the receptions and ask for the key. When their saw the key, the reception are laugh, i don't know why. Then they tell me that for my rooms, i have to use the manual key because the room is still under maintenance for the key sensor card. Well i a bit disappointed but i can't do anything because the hotel are fully booked, so i can't ask to change. When i get in, im very happy because the room are bigger than i expect before. But again, i disappointed with the towel. It looks like very dirty. And there are some spot in the bed sheet. But mostly, i enjoyed the room as well. Something that makes me very surprised is the next day when i take a breakfast. There have a big restaurant for breakfast, and also a lot of menu that you can try. All of the main menu are delicious, i love it. It will be a great budget hotel on the next future if there can fix a little problem like before they sells the room, just make sure that the room are ready to be sell, there are nothing a broken facilities and make sure that the guest amenities are cleans to used

The hotel allowed us for early check-in. We booked a family deluxe room, the room is spacious but they have to work on their maintenance. The water heater don't function that well, bed support wasn't that stable. Overall was good, and I would like to compliment their staff name Thomas, who provide excellent service.

This hotel located in Cihampelas street near the Pasupati Flyover. its located near The Promenade, next to Vio Hotel cihampelas. Its actually a pretty good location and easy to reach because you don't need to go through the hell of Cihampelas traffic jam that caused by Ciwalk. To get to this hotel you can easily use the Pasupati flyover and entering Cipaganti street before turn right into Prof. Eyckman street and come in Cihampelas right after Ciwalk (beside Fave Hotel Cihampelas). It saves plenty of your time. my overall experience here is pretty much okay with some notes to be highlighted. I was coming here with my family during 2017 Idul Fitri holiday season, and we were booking a family room. To summarize our experience here: Pros: 1. Room is clean and pretty well maintained. Our room has a great view of Pasupati flyover. The family room also has living area with sofa which is very nice and felt homy. 2. Price is quite affordable and worth the money. 3. Location as I explained above. 4. AC in our room working perfectly. With 6 peoples inside the room we have to set the temp at 22 degC otherwise it will be too cold. So its an added point to the comfort of the room. 6. Lighting in the room is nice and warm in my opinion. Give you a relax feeling. Cons: 1. Parking space are limited, as it in the same building with X-Trans, the front parking is mostly used by the travel bus. Basement parking only can accomodate probably around 15 cars. So if you come late at night especially during peak season, most likely you won't get parking space for your car and have to park accros the street or on the other place the hotel can find. 2. Not so many facilities provided here, so its more like a place to stay overnight. No swimming pool. They provide in room massage (I think its from another vendor not owned by the hotel). 3. During breakfast they run out of food pretty fast, and the staff were a little bit late to refill it back, especially for some menu that was not much in quantity such as bread and pastry. Neutral: 1. Food taste standard for me. not bad but also not stood out. But its okay. 2. Bathroom might be a little bit small for some people, but I think its still okay. Its actually pretty nice in design. Well overall I think its a good hotel if you come in group or family and want to save budget in accomodation as it has a large family room that can accomodate up to 5-6 peoples (with extra bed). The cleanliness of the room and the hotel in overall also deserve a compliment.

The Towel is so dirty and the customer service is worse. We ask why the room door lock was spoilt and the interior electic wire box was damage. There is hair on the bed. This is really becoming a motel instead of hotel. Hotel lobby full of cars and its a bus terminal . The only good point is the location and they offer double queen size bed at a reasonable price.

I stayed here for 2 night and the room so clean also the staff very friendly & attentive. This hotel is 2@3 star, i compare with Gino Ferucci Braga & De Batara were far on the top when come to room cleanliness also staff attitude. i would suggest you to stay here in term of value of money also you will have a pleasant holiday rather than Gino Feruci Braga which will cost you more money for the LOW CLASS SERVICE. De Batara Hotel is The Best in Bandung!!!

The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, they have many varieties of food. The location of this hotel is near shopping center at Cihampelas street. Just a bit note to be improve, as a guest we've waited a little longer to use the escalator, maybe it's because the staffs are allowed to use it too?

Hotel in the center of the famous Cihampelas, Bandung. This hotel perfect for transit or business trip with easy and many choice of transportation. De Batara Cihampelas is just 15-30 minutes from airport.

The hotel is well located for souvenir shopping. Great place to savour local cuisine. Clean facilities. It is also the pick-up and dispersal point for buses that ply between Bandung and other nearby cities, e.g. Cirebon.

I book superior twin bed room and get upgrade to family room with two king size bed, really happy with this upgrade. The room is big, clean and view is Pasupati Bridge. Just some broken facility like wastafel plug cannot open, flush button is stuck and heating kettle is hard to turn on is make me dissapointed. My kid 9 years old, should pay extra for breakfast, I dont have objection about that since we plan to upgrade with more then IDR 50.000,- cost I believe, but now we get free upgrade. The location really near to shopping area Cihampelas and there is night life until 00 AM we spend a time there. You can buy some souvenir there, much variety. Keep doing good De Batara, hope some miss you can fix soon.

Noisy walk way...can hear kids screaming and crying....small cramped up toilet...breakfast spread was pathetic...food cold and not much choice....when my mum tried to wrap 2 slices of bread for the long traffic journey-day trip....the coffee hse staff confronted us and insisted that we surrender the breads !!! So ridiculous....we paid for our breakfast...we are not thieves !!!

Toilet accessories not complete if compares to other hotel with deluxe room.eg..there's no liquid shampoo and shower gel and there's no hairdryer

Housekeeping was dishonest. I forgot to lock the save box cause was in a rush. Found out that my rupiah money 200000 was missing. So pls lock your save box and check. Report to the hotel but hotel cant do anything

The soundproof of the room is terribly poor ! you can hear whatever noisy sound out of the door, your sweet dream will be disturbed. Lobby of the hotel attached to a mini bus transportation hub, busy all the day and noisy all the day.

We have a great stay and enjoyable.

Rooms are clean but bathroom is relatively small. Towels are not white. For those who like street food it is a good location. Within walking distance from CiWalk.

The room was spacious even after an extra bed was laid out. The hotel entrance was rather busy as there is a bus service area in the hotel. Breakfast buffet spread was ok. Good eating places available near the hotels you can try eg dapur bomb soogood and kambing Arab ..

I book this hotel with my wife. This is a good hotel,though first i doubt it because there are several mini bus that block the entrance. But when i check in, the room is clean and comfort. I think ill come here again, thank you de batara hotel
