It was a good hotel and had a good location in Male.

The Somerset Hotel in Malé may be small, but it truly stands out through its outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The receptionist personally picked us up at the airport and escorted us to the hotel, which was a wonderful start to our stay. Every question we had about excursions or things to do was answered thoroughly, and the staff always went a step further by giving us helpful tips to make our experience even better. Their hospitality felt sincere rather than commercial. The hotel restaurant is, in our opinion, among the top three restaurants in all of Malé. The food and service were consistently excellent. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout our stay. Housekeeping maintained the room to a very high standard every day. What impressed us most was the atmosphere. You don't feel like just another customer—they make you feel like a guest returning to a small family. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Somerset Hotel to anyone staying in Malé.

Not much- not clean, loud and felt dirty

I happened to stop by this place just by chance for a quick bite, as my phone was running out of battery and I wasn’t feeling very well. The waiter kindly offered me a charger and served me some tea, which I really appreciated. The salad portion was huge, and the burger was absolutely delicious and very filling. The food, service, and hospitality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place — you won’t regret visiting!

Only stayed for a night as a stopover before boarding a seaplane. Very helpful and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Rooms were also well equipped with a good shower, safe, ironing board, scales (did confuse me a bit this one, but good to weigh your cases for air travel!) and a travel adapter plug Also has a restaurant attached serving a good variety of foods to suit all tastes. Again service was impeccable, better than most I've received in higher end restaurants Would give it 5 stars but location is not the best and the window from our room did overlook the back of another building

This is our second time to come and enjoy the Steak Night at Belle Amie restaurant. The food was very good and the service is very good also. Definitely recommended this place. Ana is very attentive,, she's always ensure everything was good. Also Ganesh the GM, he came and great all the guest.

I initially booked at the Barcelo Hotel (5 stars, but I wasn't impressed with their support). I changed to Somerset two days before departure. It was a wise decision. They were very helpful and responded to messages quickly. Staffs are helpful. We checked in lately and they still supported well

Friendly pick up from the Airport. Good location to the supermarket. Just stayed one night before going to resort. Hotel was in contact with resort to plan the schedule for next day trip to resort. Breakfast was fabulous.

Organising my return to the airport took longer than they promised so I was running late

I like all the facilities. The room is larger than expected. The location is very strategic for sight seeing, souveniur shooping and food hunting is all nearby. The food in the hotel restaurant was all delicious.

I did not like the service from the woman staff at night. I guess she is from philiphines. She is cold and unpleasant to us and other customers. I've been experienced this for 2 night and ruined our mood. Please upgrade your service.

The service is incredible in there. From the quick response with booking to first interaction in airport was excellent. Upon arrival to airport everything was ready and we had a stress free moment. They was very quick and upon arrival to hotel, they welcomed us in the best way we will never forget. Even was lucky to get an early check in. The rooms was very comfortable, love the idea of plastic free environment. The balcony was not that well. The restaurant food was so good, especially the korean wings and prawns nasigoreng. Staffs there is the best. I will hope to come again and also i recommend this hotel to all.

Sehr sauber. Wundervolle und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Organisiert und freundlich. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Man hatte eine Möglichkeit einen Gym auswärts zu benutzen. Gym war gut.

Die Wände sind hellhörig. Ohne Ohropax schwierig. Moschee in der Nähe und man hört jedes Gebet. Wenn jemand Nachts streitet hört man es auch. Wir hatten Frühstück gebucht und Eines, aufgrund von früher Abreise als lunchbox bekommen. Nun ja. Ein Apfel, Kekse, Wasser und zwei weiße Sandwiches mit einer Scheibe Aufschnitt aus einer Scheibe Gurke ist wirklich ein Witz für den Preis.

Fint hotel, super service med meget venligt og imødekomme personale. Meget fin lufthavns transfer. Vi blev hurtigt hentet på det aftalte sted i lufthavnen og fik også en fin transport tilbage.

I recently stayed at the Somerset Hotel and was thoroughly impressed.The highlight was absolutely the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with genuine warmth. A special thank you to the front desk team and the restaurant staff for going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were always smiling and eager to help with directions, luggage, or just a friendly chat.

Hotel location was good to walk around in the town - fish market, central park. Some good restaurants around. Room size was good. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Good addition was free transfer from and to the airport.

Wifi was actually working only in the lobby. Our room did not have any view, but in booking.com the room was described as with 'city view'. In reality really dirty window was facing some brick wall. Such rooms should have different price and this should be clearly stated during booking as 'no view'. I'd never book such room as I do not feel OK in rooms with no view and daylight. Luckily we had only one night there.

We had room at 1dt floor, with no sunlight, so it felt like in the basment. Bad was narrow and old. In the room was moisterue and bad smell. There was no soindproof in the door so we heard even receptionists converstations. There was no warm water. Overall this hotel doas not deserven 4***, not even 3

· Предоставленный номер, скорее всего, не соответствовал забронированному: вместо представительского улучшенного номера 25 м² с видом на город и тихую улицу был номер 12-13 м² с видом на стену. · Вместо указанных перьевых подушек были подушки с синтетическим наполнителем. · Дверь на балкон оказалась неисправна и не открывалась. · Сам процесс переезда из номера в номер вызвал дискомфорт.

My wife and I had booked a late check-out after a Sandbank & Snorkeling Tour, but the tour had to be canceled at the last minute due to bad weather on the day of the tour. The Somerset Hotel staff handled the situation with remarkable flexibility and promptness. My wife and I are especially grateful for the outstanding service and hospitality provided by Unais and Nia.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in unmittelbarer Nähe vom National Museum. Der Fischmarkt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Shuttle-Service vom und zum Flughafen war im Zimmerpreis inkludiert. Das im Hotel befindliche Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen: geschmacklich super - wir hatten asiatische Gerichte gegessen - und sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück in Buffetform plus zusätzliche Bestellungen von der Karte möglich.

地方島からマレに戻った際、午前中にも関わらず快くチェックインさせていただき、部屋でゆっくり休むことが出来ました。マネージャーを始め、スタッフ全員の心遣いに感謝の気持ちで一杯です。

The space for breakfast was very small and less options, how ever they adjusted our ask from setup of menu options.

Room was clean, welcome was good and check/check out was very clean.

就寝時、電気を消そうとしてもスウィッチがどこにあるか分からず、電気をつけたまま寝ることになりました。 次の日、テレビの後ろにあることに気がつきました。

マーレの老舗ホテルですが、マーレ中心部に位置し，人気のアイスクリーム屋やお土産店も徒歩圏内。特に朝食が美味美味しい。特別なお祝い時に地元のモルディブ人も食事に来るお店です。スタッフのホスピタリティが極めて高く、コストパフォーマンスが半端ない。

La struttura è nuova ma mantiene un tocco di originalità e tipicità che sono molto apprezzati. Tutto pulitissimo, dopo una settimana in una guesthouse su un’isoletta é stato il modo perfetto per terminare il nostro soggiorno alle Maldive. Il personale é estremamente gentile e accogliente, preciso nella descrizione e attendo, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Presenza di transfer dal jetty e da/verso aeroporto. Il cibo è molto buono e la colazione a buffet ottima.
