The photos do not reflect how good the rooms are in this resort. The view is so beautiful you forget the stairs. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable. The staff is very very nice and the food is actually excellent
The location is a bit away from the main road but it’s ok because you get peace and quiet
Great choices very satisfying
Nothing evert thing was wonderful
Fabulous food and staff . Great location snorkeling off the beach opposite
Nothing really, it is a great place to stay. The tvs in the rooms are for decoration only. Sometimes the village below can be noisy, eat plugs work treat
Aardig personeel!
We really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, and surrounded by a lovely and peaceful garden. The room was clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a day of exploring Amed. One thing to keep in mind is that there are quite a lot of stairs, so it may not be ideal for everyone. The property is also located a little further from the main center of Amed, so having your own transport is convenient. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We would happily come back again!
Exceptional views from the room. The size of the room was pretty good too. Amenities in the room were good as well.
Just on the last day the staff was a bit off. There's a lot of stairs in the property, there was a quiet expectation for us or our driver to take our own luggage which was weird. They did help later though but only after I asked for it.
Aussicht grandios. Schnorchelausflüge toll. Frühstück war spitze.
Way worse location than imagined. Doesn’t make sense that it’s 8.5 or something on location. No cell reception. Breakfast is just cheap stuff and not the best people there
The beautiful relaxing atmosphere.
The stairs can be an issue for older people
Disponibilité du personnel Service d’étage +++ Restaurant 🤩
The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (room 5) had a gorgeous sea view, it was spacious with a large private terrace. The included breakfast was a great start to the day. The restaurant served a variety of both international and Asian meals and is very good value. The pool area and gardens are attractive and well maintained. There is a beach opposite for snorkeling and scuba diving. Our stay was both relaxing and enjoyable, we were sad to leave.
There was nothing we didn’t like however, it is worth mentioning that there are a lot of stairs which might not be suitable for everyone.
We absolutely loved our time spent at Baliku! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious with an absolutely breathtaking view. We were in room 1, which is the closest room to the street, and we still had an incredible view of the ocean and mountains. The staff were exceptional - always friendly and down for a chat, and went out of their way to accomodate us. Breakfast was delicious, as were all our meals in the restaurant. Snorkelling at the Japanese Shipwreck (which is just across the road) was the absolute highlight of our trip. I absolutely recommend staying here if you want somewhere quieter than the centre of Amed :)
The only slight downside is the location - it’s not walkable to anywhere and we had to get driven around a lot (not the hotel’s fault at all!).
Beautiful View ,Wonderful Staff great food
The view!
There is no beach in front of the property. There are only stones, but beautiful corals and many fishes.

The views were fabulous , the large bath candies and incense sticks were a nice touch , staff were fabulous . The 300 g steak at dinner was delicious
Breakfast although fruit salad was plentiful it seems like a cost saving meal rather than a welcoming treat , so many stairs if you are old or can’t manage stairs this is not a hotel for you
Very friendly staff, lovely food and beautiful view in a quiet side of Bali.
Tough driving to get there!
The resort is just beautiful with breathtaking views of the ocean & mountains, The staff were absolutely amazing from the minute we arrived. The service & large menu in the restaurant was just delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend BaliKu
Avoid this hotel at all costs. We stayed in several hotels across Bali during our trip, and Baliku was by far the worst. In fact, it was the only hotel where we decided to leave early and move somewhere else because staying there had become genuinely unpleasant. The location is a major disadvantage. The hotel is far from the center of Amed, and there are practically no restaurants, cafés, or shops within walking distance. Getting to the center requires transportation, which is surprisingly expensive compared to similar distances elsewhere in Bali. The biggest disappointment, however, is the hotel itself. The photos simply do not reflect its current condition. Everything feels extremely old, worn out, and long overdue for renovation. Many things are broken, dirty, or poorly maintained, and the overall cleanliness falls well below what should be considered an acceptable standard. Some examples: * Plants are literally growing between the bathroom floor tiles. * It takes at least 10 minutes, often even longer, before hot water reaches the shower. * The bed linen was stained and torn. * Many fixtures and furnishings are damaged or falling apart. * Overall hygiene is simply unacceptable. Access to the rooms is only via very steep stairs, which can be difficult if you have luggage, children, or mobility issues. The hotel provides only one liter of complimentary drinking water per day, which is insufficient even for one person, let alone for a family. To be fair, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the sea view from the room was beautiful. Unfortunately, these are the only positive aspects of our stay. Perhaps this hotel was considered good twenty years ago, but today it has clearly not kept up with even basic hospitality standards. The price is completely unjustified for what is offered. In our opinion, it deserves no more than one star, and even that would be generous. Do not rely on the promotional photos or descriptions—they do not represent the current reality. There are many much better places to stay in Amed for the same price or even less. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want to be deeply disappointed.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Resort was very relaxing nice big rooms with an ocean View.
Not much it was good value and very relaxing. You'll need a scooter to access the main town unless you plan on spending all your time at the resort.
Good value for money. Baliku is right across the Japanese wreck and a bit further for the hussle of Amed, so you might be driving 20 minutes to get to Jemeluk bay or your favourite restaurant in Amed. Roads here do get a bit adventurous about half way from central Amed.
Lots of steps to get to the room. For vegan meals we preferred going to central Amed.
The view was magnificent. The room was spacious and the alcove with 2 daybeds on the veranda was a beautiful setting within which to relax while watching the sunset. The breakfast included in the room rate was varied and well prepared. The staff, though were a highlight. They were such wonderfully warm and friendly people. Lastly, great snorkelling at the shipwreck is right at your door.
We ate dinner there the first night. The flavours were okay but overall if was a very average meal.
location is very good, very rough road to get here thought... breakfast was very nice... staff were excellent ,fun and accommodating...
bed and rooms are old needs renovating...
The view was the best! Great location with beautiful sunrises and calm snorkeling, right across the road and onto the beach, although not a sand beach, bring your reef shoes for the large pebbles!
How many large stairs to get to our room. It was pretty noisy! From roosters, dogs, bikes and a local night club.
From the moment we stepped into the Baliku we were met with smiles and a welcome drink. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were so kind and approachable and excellent at their jobs. We were sad to say goodbye. The view from the rooms and the room itself was gorgeous, very clean and spacious . Stunning pool area with lovely views. The food was the best food we had on our whole trip to Bali, absolutely top class food. We regretted not staying here longer and are very excited to come stay again.
Great location, a little out of the busy part of Amed. Great view, sun beds, candles all the stuff for a romantic stay.
Resort had amazing views of beach and mountains from your room , pool was excellent, food and staff outstanding
The staff are amazing. The views from the rooms are incredible. Food was great and a lovely quiet boutique style accommodation.
The stairs are a necessity for the views 😀
Tout C était vraiment super
The views where amazing great sunrises.
Its name you would assume it has a dive shop .It doesn't.
Very friendly. Suyasa had made sure that everything is taken care of. The staff are friendly. The pool is so clean and not over chlorinated like so many others in Bali. Amazing views from my room. I'd stay again if in Amed.
Very close to excellent snorkeling beach. Lovely 4 poster bed. Beautiful sea view
A bit noisy when we first arrived, there was a happy celebration in the village, for a new baby, we later learned
As always, the amazing staff, so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They arranged a beautiful sunset boat cruise for us and even an Esky for our Bintangs. Our room was one of the lower rooms but still had amazing views. The sunrises are exquisite. The staff keep it super clean with daily housekeeping if required.
I like hard beds but the beds are just a little too hard for me.
Eigelijk niks
We loved the staff. They went above and beyond to organise the snorkeling trip for us, as well as transfer back to Sanur. The food was good. And little details, like mosquito spray, helpful staff, clean property, pool
Superb views, lovely room, great restaurant
Everything was superb. Our only problem was something that the hotel cannot control. That is the almost constant racket from passing motorbikes whose owners eschew the use of silencers/mufflers. Such a pity that they spoil the lovely location.
Breakfast was lovely, the staff were so lovely!!! the bed and room was comfortable and was cleaned so well, the pool was protected and had shade, lovely pool, the gardens were beautiful, wonderful stay, very very happy we stayed at Baliku!
Nothing
Beautiful room and pool. Great food in the restaurant
Lack of hot water. No satellite TV as advertised. No longer serving cocktails.
Staff very kind, food good, pool great but the noise is full on. It overseas a village and it can be incredibly loud. If your looking for peace, it’s not for you,
This place was amazing. It felt like being in the Mediterranean. The view from my room was spectacular and in the morning the sea was full of boats with colourful sails. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was great with a large balcony and day beds to relax on. The food was excellent. A beautiful place to relax. The snorkelling is just across the road.
This is no fault of the hotel, but be aware that there are a lot of steps up to the hotel and to the rooms but well worth the climb!
Great food, lovely staff, spacious and comfortable rooms.
The shining star for this excellent resort was the staff. This resort was clean and the food was excellent. But the real star of the show was the outstanding staff at the resort. I have never had such polite and helpful people at a resort. Any negative areas that this resort has is more than made up for in the quality of their employees. I will return to this resort in the future.
Everything I was looking for ,it’s very quiet, hard to get around without a scooter ect,but for me I was there for the amazing views snorkeling is a must in the clear waters and easily swim out to do so great relaxing stay
Stairs only if you have top rooms but view was worth the climb for me personally
The room was absolutely incredible. It had views to die for, seen from every angle. There’s a huge sun bed and dining table on the patio, then the massive 4 poster bed, dressing room/kitchenette and the beautiful bathroom. Everything was clean and well cared for. The staff are amazing, special thanks to Basir and Bakir for making the stay so welcoming! They helped with everything I needed (scooter and snorkel gear) with a huge smile and a chat. Room service is available.
Not the fault of the hotel, but it was really noisy during my stay. Next door is a farm and the first night the animals were going crazy all night. On the second day the neighbours played very, very loud music for hours, blasting it through a megaphone. I had to use noise cancelling headphones to maintain the serenity. Overall, still worth it, 10/10!
Great unique property gives privacy to each bungalow, loved that they had refrigerators and kettles with coffee/tea supplies and huge bathtub with candles for relaxing. Views from even the lowest bungalow, number 1 was great! The outside patios enormous with fabulous lounging areas to relax plus a dining area. We had our meals room delivery and used what’s app to order, very convenient. Pool water was just right. Food from the kitchen delicious. Great that we could use a safe too.
The stairs!! I can’t really do Bali steps anymore, even with Donna kindly putting us in Bungalow 1 the lowest, found it quite the challenge. But if you’re not too old you’d love it.
The view
The soap and shampoo was watery and the soap provided had no foam.
The view and also the location of the hotel very close to the water
The room was beautiful Fabulous ocean view Lovely porch to sit in with dining area and a huge day bed The bathroom was lovely with bath included, nice towels and candles Bed was large and comfortable.. Beautiful polished concrete walls and floors
The manjo juice for breakfast was not nice at all.. Small issue i know..but tasted like water with odd speck of mango whipped in there. Sorry to complain
The most amazing staff work at this hotel. So friendly and helpful. They made our stay extra special. The location is fabulous, with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The village is full of the loveliest people. The food is superb. I would live here if I could!
Beautiful view of the sea, comfortable bed, and great selection of food at the restaurant. It’s also further away from the centre of Amed so it’s more peaceful.
The shower head is angled weird so unless you hold it yourself, you’ll get water all over the bathroom floor.
The room felt very luxurious. Enormous four poster bed with romantic mosquito net. Walk in wardrobe and huge bathroom. All tiled in stone. The terrace was also huge with a raised platform for two day beds and a dining table with chairs. Also a handy drying rack. The views were just incredible. We stayed in room 3 which had a wonderful view as it was in an elevated position. Catching the sea breeze, looking past the frangipani trees to the ocean beyond, watching boats come and go. We spent a full week here and it was so relaxing. The staff were very friendly/helpful and arranged a massage lady to come to our room and snorkelling boat trip and transport. The food from the restaurant was great and the pool clean and refreshing. The whole establishment had a Mediterranean vibe and provided excellent value for money. There is a handful of great warungs and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk to the north and great snorkelling at the Japanese shipwreck right out front. Cannot recommend this place more highly and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay.
Staying at this resort was a truly pleasant experience. The rooms were well-appointed and offered impressive views of both the mountains and the ocean, providing a beautiful backdrop to our stay. I loved the design of the rooms and decorations that were simple yet chic. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The combination of comfortable accommodations, scenic surroundings, and good service made for a memorable visit.
While our stay had its pleasant aspects, particularly the kind staff, there were a few noticeable drawbacks in the room and dining experience. We observed mold in both the bathroom and kitchen areas, which was a concern for cleanliness. Additionally, the breakfast did not meet our expectations, especially given the hotel's self-promotion of its culinary offerings and chef. We ended up eating out for most meals instead of utilizing the hotel's service. Despite these small issues, the overall stay was still pleasant, largely thanks to the genuinely kind staff and stunning views.
There was a beautiful view from the room, and the room itself was great. Comfortable bed, spacious, aircon and big bathroom albiet only an over bath shower. Staff were all wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was also great. Food was nice to which is lucky as there isn't much else around.
There is literally nothing around the hotel. Couple of places to eat but that's about it. The dive shop is closed as well, so although you can dive with a local guy around the corner, who was great. There isn't anything at the hotel, so it isn't a dive resort. The road getting there is really bad to so getting into Amed is a bit of a mission so popping out to other places is also a bit of a pain.
Beautiful location, view and villas. Food was exceptional, and so many options. Staff organised a snorkeling trip which was amazing.
