Kleinzee Oceanfront Guesthouse

The position overlooking the ocean with the views of whales and dolphins was a real treat. Monica who was in charge was a friendly host.

Wonderful location. Whales visible in front of the guest house. Very friendly staff. All very clean.

The floors could be cleaner. Walking barefoot was not great. I would have preferred warm white bedside lights, not bright white.

On arrival, we were met with friendliness and took us through what we needed to know. Our room had a wonderful view of the sea and had lots of whales right in front of us. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Being able to open up the folding doors and sit in the deck was fabulous. Being able to sit on your bed and there is the ocean right in front of you is very relaxing. She found some very good restaurants close by

A selection of pillows would be great Off street parking is a squeeze and a narrow downhill reverse to get out

Keine Steckdosen im Badezimmer sowie wenig Ablagen im Bad.

Die Unterkunft liegt am Ende von Gansbaai direkt am Meer, sodass es sehr ruhig ist und man einen unglaublichen Ausblick auf die Bucht hat. Man sieht im Winter vom Balkon aus den ganzen Tag über viele Wale. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und bieten alles, was man brauchen könnte. Besonders positiv bleiben die Gastgeber in Erinnerung, die gerne Empfehlungen für Restaurants oder Aktivitäten geben und diese auf Wunsch direkt buchen.

Aufgrund der ruhigen Lage sind die meisten Restaurants nur mit dem Auto erreichbar, was für Südafrika aber ja nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Außerdem ist der Ausblick diesen Kompromiss definitiv wert!

I had a fabulous stay. Desi was welcoming and accommodating to make my stay feel like home away from home. The location was more than I could dream of.

An accessible microwave in the room or communal area will be great to warm up a take out meal.

The friendly staff and the stunning view

The bath plug leaks so one has to run the water constantly in order to have a bath. The sliding wooden door catch needs fixing so that the door can close easily.

Die mooiste uitsig op die see asook die walvisse wat ons gereeld gesien het vanaf ons stoepie, was n belewenis! Monica en Dezi was uitstekende en vriendelike gasvrouens. Die ontbyte was heerlik en omdat dit privaat op ons eie stoepie bedien is, het dit die verblyf nog meer spesiaal gemaak!

Excellent, a hidden gem. Whales playing in the water, while we having breakfast. De Kelders is an exceptional place, absolutely worth it.

We had a beautiful time my wife and I. The space is so relaxing and the view of the ocean is therapeutic all day long. There's also a fireplace and they provide ample firewood to keep the room warm which was a blessing in the cold weather that we visited. The bathroom and shower were amazing (yes my wife and I are picky on shower heads 😀!). I would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay at Kleinzee guesthouse. Room was very clean and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was the best,thank you Monica 😀.We are definitely going back.It was home away from home.

Wij waren er tijdens storm, hierdoor was er 1,5 dag geen elektriciteit, was het koud en was er ook geen warm water. Een generator als back up is aan te raden

An absolute gem. It was our anniversary and my bday and wanted a quick breakaway. Best decision i made in years with regard to accommodation at a gorgeous venue with views that does not disappoint. Received way more than expected. Service from hostess Desire was exceptional and on point. We booked the upstairs Deluxe Suite with braai and it exceeded our expectations. It offers everything and more. It would take all day to compliment every detail so overall it’s 10/10.

The furniture is old. The wifi cut out for a period of time. The breakfast had to be pre-ordered and a time given. No bubble bath, no bars of soap and no good quality shower gel. For a 4 star rating you can do better.

It was so a nice place i really just needed it.. the staff wow amazing like monica, my honeymoon was the best out of the bestt. lovely view just the right place.. see soon

Exceptional and amazing view

Alles an Kleinzee ist nicht zu toppen, nette Kommunikation im Vorfeld, aufmerksames Personal, wunderbare Räumlichkeiten mit geschmackvollem Interieur und der Hit war das Früstück, zubereitet von Monica - alles tiptop frisch. Sowohl das Omelette wie auch das selbstgemachte Müsli im Muesli-Fruit-Cup hätte man sich nicht besser wünschen können. Überhaupt ist Monica die Seele des Gästehauses. Suoer umsichtig und nette Gespräche.

We saw the image of the view towards Walker Bay and immediately wanted to check in - which we did. Very friendly communication. Overwhelmingly beautiful view from a very nice balcony. The rooms tiptop clean and tastefully furnished. But the winner was Monicas breakfast on that same private balcony - very luxurious. The best Muesli-Fruit-cup we ever had and Monica is a star.

Die Lage direkt mit Blick auf das Meer ist atemberaubend. Wir konnten das komplette Fenster öffnen und lagen auf dem Bett mit Blick auf das Meer. Eine Sitzmöglichkeit auf der Terrasse hat eingeladen sich dort auszuruhen. Das Bad und das Zimmer waren sehr groß und sehr sauber. Das Personal war super nett und freundlich. Das Frühstück hat unseren Wünschen entsprochen und war lecker. Beim Frühstück konnten wir einen Delfin im Meer beobachten. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden und den Cliff Path vor der Unterkunft kann man schön entlang laufen. Wirklich tolle und ruhige Unterkunft.

Toller Blick direkt aufs Meer. Geht kaum besser. Klein, aber fein. Guter Zugang vom Auto zum Zimmer. Das erleichtert den Gepäcktransport. Super Frühstück. Hier wird man glatt zum Müsli-Fan, wenn man es vorher nicht schon gewesen ist.

Schade, dass die Dusche nicht vom zimmer abgetrennt ist. War aber nicht ganz so schlimm.

Wir wurden total herzlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war mega schön und die Aussicht vom Bett auf die Bucht einfach unbeschreiblich. Können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen

Nothing - only a suggestion that - roller blinds would do the establishment much more justice - for privacy plus being able to see the view outside. The curtain inside the toilet area and next to the shower is not practical.

As view is so important to me, that aspect was absolutely perfect. The long waves, and assorted passers-by. The room is decorated thoughtfully and tastefully which makes the stay very pleasing. Loved the breakfast!

I think NB to specify that booking in time is from 2 preferably and that earlier comes with more effort for the staff. But I suppose I could have guessed that! Nothing I did not like.

View is exceptional.

Having to decide your breakfast for next day and WhatsApp it is a bit annoying . They can do without it and take the order on the day . Nobody is there in a hurry and can wait a while with this magnificent view

Fabulous little guesthouse right in the cliff road, each room with stunning uninterrupted views of Walker Bay. Monica took perfect care of us, with freshly made breakfast and bakes. We loved our room, super comfy bed, huge luxury bathroom with free standing bath tub too. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.

Emplacement face à la mer et au calme, ce que je souhaitais.

Accueil très médiocre. Personnel visiblement fatigué ou avec un raz le bol sur la notion de réception. Une indifférence affichée. Petit déjeuner du coup servi comme à la cantine Bof Mérite aussi un rafraichissement des locaux. Le robinet de la douche coule toute la nuit par exemple mais normal, tout cela date ou reste peu entretenu. Il y a bien mieux pour ce prix et avec une bien meilleur considération, croyez moi!

Kleinzee Oceanfront Guesthouse is fantastic. It is right on the ocean, with parking conveniently located directly in front of the door. The upper units have patios that open onto the dining area, where meals are served directly on your stoep – a truly unique and charming concept. The views are beautiful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the hostess is outstanding. Breakfast was excellent and enjoyed with uninterrupted sea views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this guesthouse.
