Beste Aussicht auf die Wale. Nette Besitzerin. Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Frühstück sehr lecker.

This property is outstanding. Location, style of room, attentive service and the breakfast m, freshly prepared were excellent.

Absolutely everything was top class. The attention to detail in the bedroom was superb and the bathroom was well equipped with all the extra’s you could wish for, including beautiful soap, hair products and shower gel. Bathroom towels were the fluffiest and thickest one’s we have ever had.

Perfect . Geweldig uitzicht .

Giving such a review probably means, I will have no chance to return as the guest house will be constantly booked out, but I can’t help it … I must state the truth! Breakfast on the deck was fabulous with the view over Walker Bay and the variety of different tasty and lovely decorated breakfast options Willemien had on offer. Thank you also for organizing the boat trip and dinner reservations! Looking forward to coming back!

Geweldige ligging, top ontbijt

Magnificent view on the ocean, great and very helpful hosts, excellent breakfast, rooms designed with a lot of attention for detail and quality.

The very bright bathroomlights switch on and off based on a motion detector. When I need to get out in the middle of the night I’d rather use the faint glow of my iPhone than being thoroughly waken up 😇 .

65 on Cliff hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Location and tranquility friendliness of the staff and the owner couldn’t do enough

Nothing to dislike at all

Ein phantastisches, sehr liebevolles Frühstück

Interesting down to earth hosts in a fantastic property, which was tastefully decorated. Perfect location for whale watching. The owners are serious about quality and everything they need to do to ensure that their guests have a great stay and yet they are so approachable, making time to chat. Breakfast was the best I have had in a long while.

That I had to leave. I will be back.

Viewing Deck zur Walbeobachtung Zimmer war mega Gastgeberin extrem hilfsbereit, freundlich + lustig Frühstück sehr lecker + liebevoll zubereitet

Nichts 😁

An awesome little gem with breathtaking views of the ocean and at the time we were there, many whales to sea in the bay from our room. Willemien and Stewart are exceptional hosts, they have carefully considered the requirements of guests and there was much so attention to detail. The breakfasts prepared for us each morning were lavish and delicious.

Our only complaint was the wifi which was sadly not strong enough in the room itself to make use of.

An absolutely incredible stay with Willemien and Stewart. Everything you can possibly want when staying away from home. Their attention to every detail to ensure your stay is wonderful went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot wait for our next visit! We did not want to leave.

Nothing

We stayed for 2 nights en route from Cape Town to the Garden Route and loved it so much we went back for our last night in SA. 65onCliff exceeded all expectations, the location is superb with wonderful views over Walker Bay and the quality of accommodation is top notch 👌 Stewart and Will are brilliant hosts; friendly and helpful, happy to advise about the local area and make dinner reservations. Will is a wonderful cook, her breakfasts are just delicious. Whale watching from our balcony or upper patio was a highlight, we saw so many Momma whales with their calves in the bay along with dolphins and seals, all peacefully enjoying the bay often less that 20 metres from shore. Gansbaii is lovely, a little more low-key than Hermannus which we prefer. Stunning coastal walks with wonderful scenery and plenty of activities and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at 65onacliff and hope to return next year.

Nothing

we spent three nights in a little paradise, and it was truly wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything we could possibly need was there — and the view from the bed out onto the endless ocean was simply breathtaking. We were even lucky enough to spot whales! The morning skies and Walker Bay are indescribably beautiful. But the real highlight was the breakfast — and the two: Stewart and Willemien! Absolutely incredible! Thank you so much for the unforgettable breakfast experiences on the rooftop terrace.

The guest house was of excellent quality and cleanliness. Furnishings were elegant and thoughtfully designed. Attention to detail was evident throughout the property. Out of this world breakfasts.

Absolutely nothing!!!!

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, 65onCliff exceeded expectations. Beautiful views, a breakfast

We stayed in a sea facing room and the views are incredible. We only stayed for one night but super comfy bed, great recommendations for walks and breakfast was very yummy.

Impeccable attention to detail. Everything was thought of and top quality. Very comfy bed. Great hosts. Amazing view.

Slight issue with parking at property due to other guest parking badly. Luckily there was parking across the road.

Fabulous Hosts. The best breakfast we have ever had. Michelin Star Standards. Food all cooked and prepared by host. Huge well equipped bathroom. Wonderful comfy bed. Great view from bedroom.

Parking area a bit cramped. Lack of restaurant choices in the town on a Sunday.

Total peace and quiet, very relaxing. Very good food.

The property is exceptional. The views of the bay are beautiful but what makes it is the property itself. It is clean, well decorated and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the area. The breakfast was also incredible.

Nothing

We were 3 weeks ol the Garden Route and this was definitely the best stay. Really lovely and caring hosts, great rooms with amazing sea views, a suberb breakfast and also their dinner tip was really great (and you can even walk there safely at night!) Will definitely come back during whale season (when they whales are supposed to be directly in front of your room!)

Great location, lovely property , fab breakfast and excellent hosts !

Nil

The breakfasts are superb, and utterly beautifully presented. The location is gorgeous.

The shower needs a door or to be deeper, or repositioned, as the water wet the floor quite a bit, but this is minor compared to the overall stay. Really is a special place.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Beautiful views and everything was perfectly clean and well organized.

I wish I could have stayed for longer.

The location is amazing and our hosts were lovely and attentive! The highlight is the breakfast, simply delicious! 100% recommended.

Thank you, Stewart & Willemien, for an unforgettable stay. 65onCliff exceeded our expectations. From checking in until the morning we left. Every morning's exceptional and delicious breakfast. Thank you, Stewart, for booking every wine tasting and dinner reservation. We will be back, and I can recommend 65onCliff without hesitation. It's absolutely worth it!

Unfortunately, 3 nights were way too short.

location is outstanding - staff fantastic .... book and relax with 65 on cliff

The position is fantastic, we watched whales from our balcony and the shoreline. Fabulous breakfast.

Amazing views. Excellent location for whale watching right from your balcony. Delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts. Pool. Can do beautiful sea side/cliff top walks from 65onCliff. The view!!

We were told on the day of arrival that unfortunately they will not be serving dinner for in house guests during our stay. This was disappointing as I specifically emailed two months in advance confirming that we would be able to eat dinner there, and was one of the reasons we chose to book 65onCliff. Desperately needed some rest time without having to mission out again for dinner. The alternate restaurant suggestion by the host was however really good, just not what we wanted from our stay and would have appreciated advance notice. No shower doors, so bathroom floor and shower mats completely soaked after 2 people shower.

Great location - fabulous breakfast. Attentive hosts and upmarket finishings.

Not much - limited parking inside

Location was exceptional, as was the breakfast. I look forward to visiting again when the restaurant opens. Room was very comfortable with a great view.

It’s clean High quality facilities By the beach - Location perfect Excellent breakfast

What a great place! Spacious room, very nicely decorated and with everything you need. An enjoyable addition was a pretty set of candles which could be used at the balcony to create romantic atmosphere. Everything very clean, spotless sheets and towels. We felt completely spoiled. Breakfast was not only delicious but also looked like a piece of art. We had to leave early to the airport the second time so we got the best breakfast package we have ever had. A big thank you to the lovely, dedicated hosts. Our stay at 65oncliff was like cherry on a cake for our stay in South Africa. We hope to come back during the whale season!

Everything was just great 10/10! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fijne plek om te zijn! Prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk om te wandelen. Heerlijk ontbijt! Loved it!

The best breakfast of our whole trip, really nice hosts and a beautiful view!

Beautiful rooms, nice decor, outstanding facilities, attention to detail, fantastic vista, wonderful breakfast.

Nothing.

Absolutely amaaaazing 💫. The host couple are phenomenal and inspirational in every way, I could've spent a week just interacting with them...so so special. The combination of decor, personalized touches, comfort, info shared, kindness, incredible breakfasts, location and the homely feeling were incredible. We travel a lot and this ranks right at the top. I am a leg amputee but don't seek special treatment so before we got there, they didn't know. We unpacked and went out the 1st evening and when we returned, they had put a shower chair into the shower 🥰🥰🥰

Nothing.....everything was amazing!

Fabulous location on the cliff top and wonderful views of the ocean. We weren't in Whale season, but if we had been they would have been in touching distance. Stewart and his wife Will, run a great business, really friendly and engaging and everything is top quality, from towels to bedding and loads of lovely detail. Major highlight were the breakfasts which rank as the best ever. Presentation stunning, food so fresh and always varied. Little gem this one

What an awesome place with the best views of the ocean. And the best customer service ever, definitely coming back. Ooh yhaa, thee best breakfast ever.

Location! Aesthetics! Views! Serene. Spaciousness and decor. Delicious food. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Parking space limited inside the property but there’s ample on street parking across the street.

From Booking.com I thought we had booked a certain room. We were moved to what we wanted as soon as it was available. 6 stars for 65Cliff, 1 star for Booking.com. Room immaculate and very comfortable with stunning views. The whales even put on a show 5 minutes after our arrival for a couple of hours. Breakfast was excellent.

Nothing

We had a great time at 65onCliff. Willemien and Steward were super nice and helpful. We loved our room with the view of the beach, and the binoculars provided. We spent hours watching the whales which was so relaxing. We booked the horse riding and whale watch boat trip recommended by Willemien and it was fantastic. The breakfast was very delicious. We would love to come back!

A very nice guesthouse that makes you feel at home abroad. Located directly on the cliff with an amazing view of the ocean and the whales 🐋. Mrs. Wallce took real good care of all our needs and treated us like family, breakfasts where great, she organized our dinners and got us tables at the best restaurants in town , cared for our transportation, etc. We had a great time ,even the rain didn't ruin our holiday.

The host had thought of everything. The room was beautiful, the view outstanding and the whales were awesome. The breakfasts were amazing and we will definitely be back

Nothing

Everything about this place puts it on the top of our getaways. It oozes quality and it is clear that the host is passionate and has a clear love for what she does. Just love this place!

Nothing negative at all

Have to say 65 on Cliff wins the best guesthouse we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, till the day we left, we could not fault anything. The decor and furnishings are next level, the view is splendid, the whole experience was truly remarkable. The breakfast was something to be seen, and the home baked croissants made breakfast so exciting every day. Well done to Willemien and her team.

the room was comfy with a big balcony overlooking the Ocean and Walker Bay. the area is quiet and safe you can easily walk around. Willemien and Stewart are amazing hosts, give you good advices for dinner ( including reservation) and activities around. We enjoyed the excellent, fresh and lovely breakfast every morning. thank you for the good time we definitely will come back !

everything perfect

Perfect hosts

The breakfast was excellent. It varied every day, the produce was super fresh and tasty and the presentation comparable to or better than any 5 star restaurant. Having breakfast with a view is just nsxt level.

Everything was perfect. Steward and Willemien are the perfect hosts and went beyond what was expected of them. My room was spacious and clean, the fridge stocked with extra goodies and treats, the linen crisp and clean with a high thread count, the bathroom had high quality bath products and fluffy towels, breakfast was exceptional and the views made it difficult to leave my room.

Location…whale watching from the balcony!

Perfection! This is a top notch guest house, easily comparable to a 5 star hotel! The staff and hosts were amazing, breakfast superb, and the views were astonishingly beautiful! highly recommended, will definitely return.

Nothing!

Very welcoming excellent would go back in a heart beat xx

Great place, excellent location, very nice and welcoming people

Phantastische Gastgeber, exzellentes Essen, Top-Unterkunft, beste Lage

Stewart is an excellent host. The views from each room in the guest house are amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. He helps arrange dinners and local activities.

The past excellent reviews say it all. Great hosts, breakfast is a work of art and views are amazing. We did not come during whale season (can only imagine when it feels like the whales are in your room!), but great wildlife and beautiful coastal walk and sunset. Eat dinner this time of year before sunset as everything closes early and if you enjoy yourself to long you are not left with good options (this would have been easily solved if we had asked, but did not even think hard to find restaurant at 9 pm).

Everything was perfect, and the view could not be beat

My wife and I stayed here for one day in September 2016. We highly recommend staying here. The owners are so helpful and wonderful. They went above and beyond to give us a great experience.

My wife and I stayed there for one night and had a very nice time and an excellent breakfast that came with the room. The food was very, very good and the hostess more than willing to modify the meal to suit allergies and dietary concerns. The other guests were all very friendly and obviously enjoying the B&B as well. The host was very friendly and helped us organize a dinner away from the B&B...although we subsequently heard the meal at the B&B was excellent!!

Stuart the English owner was very welcoming, clean and well-designed gust-house with great views of whales in the bay straight from your bedroom. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing place with spectacular views. Pictures don't do justice to the view from your bedroom. The hosts were really sweet, helpful, accommodating and most of all really made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is 5 star. Perfect place to get away from your usual hustle and bustle.
