The staff were warm, friendly and so helpful. Good location and very clean and comfortable.

Need some lights installed in the stairwell on way up to restaurant. Dangerously dark. Be helpful to have a shelf in shower to access soap, shampoo etc rather than having to bend down to the floor.

The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the Mt. ETNA tour they arranged with "Saro." He was extremely informative and pleasant. I would 10/10 recommend to book this. It was much cooler than staying in catania heat! Beautiful and scenic, enjoyable excursion.

I do not recommend traveling to catania in August. The heat was terrible and made it impossible to explore the area during the daytime. There was also major road construction right outside the hotel at this time.

Loved the breakfast. The room was stunning. I did not want to leave the hotel. The location was perfect. 2 minute walk to the center.

On nous a soi-disant surclassé et notre chambre avait des velux fermés, donc pas possible d’ouvrir les fenêtres et le système ultra moderne très sophistiqué ne nous nous permettait pas de régler la climatisation etc.

The hotel itself was very clean, the housekeeping was excellent, I also really liked the floor of the room. The pattern and the tiles were very nice. The lady at reception in the morning and until noon was very nice and welcoming. I’m not sure about the gentleman at reception at night; he seemed a little unwelcoming, maybe he was tired when we arrived. The breakfast was lovely. I really liked the fresh juices and homemade jams.

But one thing I really didn’t appreciate was the layout of the small bar area. It was in the bathroom area, with the hangers above the bar and the fridge directly in front of the bathroom sink. Maybe some people don’t mind it, but I didn’t like having the kitchen/bar area shared with the bathroom sink. Also, at night, we could hear some sounds coming from the pipes, and it was disruptive.

Excellent communication, lovely staff, perfect location. The hotel is a beautiful renovation of an original building, it feels modern while still celebrates its heritage. It’s quiet and comfortable and so spacious. The staff were the best we encountered during our 2 week stay in Sicily - they were welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff, excellent location, very good breakfast with local products, nice modern room.

We had ants in our room on the fourth floor and stains on the bedsheets when we arrived and after we asked for them to be changed. The toilet is barely separated from the room with a frosted glass wall and door (not that discrete).

Due i punti di forza della struttura: il personale sempre gentile, affabile, disponibile, professionale, pronto nella risposta e nel risolvere piccoli problemi (ad esempio, avevo bisogno di una camera con due letti singoli, ma nel prenotare deve esserci stato forse un errore da parte mia, e risultava una doppia con letto matrimoniale: hanno subito trovato un'altra camera adatta alle mie richieste); avevo bisogno di arrivare il più vicino possibile all'entrata dell'hotel con l'auto, ed ho avuto immediatamente il permesso per la zona ZTL. La qualità del cibo è eccellente, sia per la colazione, sia per il ristorante dove abbiamo cenato la prima sera (abbiamo preso un'ombrina davvero buona; è stata la cena migliore di un soggiorno di 10 giorni nella Sicilia sud-orientale). Posizione della struttura comoda e centrale. Pulizia eccellente. Stile sobrio, elegante, moderno.

In primo luogo la stanza che abbiamo scelto era ad un livello raggiungibile con una scala: questa notizia l'ho colta leggendo alcune domande dopo aver prenotato. Avrebbe dovuto essere più in evidenza, perché è vero che le valigie le porta il personale, sempre gentile, ma magari qualcuno può avere problemi di deambulazione anche momentanei. In secondo luogo, l'architetto minimalista che ha ristrutturato la struttura ha privilegiato la purezza delle forme, valore estetico sicuramente apprezzabile, ma a scapito della funzionalità: niente cassetti dove mettere oggetti, vestiti, etc.; pochi ganci nella zona bagno dove poter appendere asciugamani; il bagno non ha finestre né aspiratori. Il letto matrimoniale ha una distanza dalle prese luce non raggiungibile da braccio umano.

Posizione eccezionale a due passi dal duomo, in una bellissima piazza del teatro. Personale gentilissimo e pronto a risolvere qualsiasi inconveniente. Camera junior suite bellissima, molto grande e arredata finemente.

The hotel was in a great location, I walked there from the train station and could walk to all the main attractions and restaurants I went to while in Catania. The room was very large, comfortable, modern, quiet and clean which is what I was hoping for after 3 weeks of intense travel I wanted a nice place to rest. The staff were very helpful and I took their recommendations for restaurants which were very good. The breakfast buffet was also excellent.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was some noisy construction going on at the patio near reception. It took me a while to find the entrance as it was full of construction equipment so the hotel could have had better signage or an email to let travellers know in advance about the construction. However my room was very quiet and didn't impact my stay.

Nothing short of exceptional. We arrived in Catania after thee very hot and busy days in Rome and after a very bumpy overnight sleeper train which delivered little sleep or comfort. This hotel was an oasis for us and has delivered on every point hence 5 stars. Brilliant, friendly staff (especially Valentina) delicious fresh breakfast and a super spacious, comfy room that is elegantly and simply decorated. We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Nice rooms with historical ceeling paintaings, harmonised equipment, great cosmetics and very tasty breakfast. Parking was super (closed parking slot) if you are afraid to park your car in the street

חנייה רחוקה.. שהינו 7 לילות וארוחת הבוקר הייתה זהה כל בוקר ללא שינוי וגיוון.. המזרן בחדר היה מתחת לכל ביקורת עם שקעים בתוכו. לאחר שהתלוננו שמו לנו על המזרן עוד מזרן. החלפת מצעים כל יומיים כפי שנאמר לנו לא בוצע בפועל. . אין ארון.

This is a lovely hotel, very centrally located and with lovely rooms, very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, a full range of fresh continental, Italian, egg options. But what is truly exceptional is the staff. we had some problems with our flight due to volcanic activity. The young women at the reception gave help and advice and tried all kinds of transport solutions for us. No options were left unexplored. Thank you, ladies!

Air conditioning was set very cold and could not be fixed from the room, but reception fixed it for us. Again, great service.

Amazing dining experience. Georgia on reception was fantastic, especially dealing with a million requests to try and get travel plans altered after Etna closed Catania airport. The hotel was superb, had a great night's sleep. Amenities were second to none. Located in the heart of the historic district, simply stunning.

We loved this hotel. The staff were amazing and the room was great. The breakfast was so good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. The location was perfect. They helped us get a taxi to the airport and let us hang in the courtyard until we were picked up. AMAZING!

There was construction going on out front so it made parking a bit difficult but that is not the hotel's fault.

Avoid booing the attic room on the top floor. There are no windows; only skylights. It felt a bit claustrophobic. Also, the elevator doesn't go up to this floor. Not a problem generally, but it's a pain to lug suitcases .

Odd that the hotel appears to have no bar aside from a specific time 17:30-19:00 (Apperitivi). There was a mini bar to be fair but it didn’t seem right to open a full wine bottle for a glass at 10pm

This hotel is beautifully designed with excellent service. Interesting modern design melded into historic building. Very clean, very welcoming and helpful service with great rooms (lovely comfortable bed with very good bedding). We also ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing, again with excellent service.

What a wonderful hotel! Our room (junior suite) was exceptional! The design was beautiful, with original features but also all mod cons and a super quiet and efficient air conditioner. Comfortable bed overlooking quiet courtyard. The breakfast was beautifully presented in beautiful surroundings. Good quality food and friendly service from all staff. We loved the decor of this hotel and the location was perfect for restaurants, shopping, tours ect. Happy to hear the hotel restaurant is expanding. I think it will do well! Highly recommend.

This hotel is quiet with cute, clean rooms and a lovely breakfast. The staff was very helpful and the neighborhood is quite and clean. You could easily navagate and walk to attractions and there were lots of dining options nearby.

We visited Catania and stayed at Habitat Boutique Hotel as part of our honeymoon, and we could not have wished for a better start to our time in Sicily. The hotel is fantastically located in the historic city center, with everything within easy walking distance. It is also very easy to reach from the airport, as a bus takes you to within just a few hundred meters of the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and immediately made us feel well taken care of. Our room was spotless, modern, and at the same time very cozy and inviting. It was also wonderfully quiet, which made our stay especially relaxing. Breakfast was delicious as well, with a small but lovely selection of regional dishes. We are very grateful for such a wonderful first stay in Sicily and would wholeheartedly recommend Habitat Boutique Hotel for a couples’ trip to Catania.

Building works starting at 0730 opposite our room and in the corridor. Electric sockets particularly for the kettle effectively so low down you had to get on the floor to connect.

A rua tem uma obra, o taxi nao consegue ir ate a porta de entrada do hotel, o que pode ser bastante inconveniente dependendo das malas que tiver ou se chegar ou partir muito tarde. O tipo de vista da janela do quarto deveria ser proibida para um hotel desta categoria, um horror (foto). Dá para ouvir absolutamente tudo o que se passa no corredor e na rua, zero isolamento acustico. Em geral, esperava muito mais conforto!

For that price I’d expect a coffee machine in the room, a desk to work on and a proper door to the bathroom area.

Checked in with a free upgrade surprise to a nice suite with balcony looking toward the Piazza . Hotel looks new but the sign outside is very dark , not easy to spot the entrance . My room was spacious but the shower room was quite small and door was tiny to get into it.Overall it was an excellence stay , breakfast was just Ok , hotel was in walking distance to the centre.

From the outside it is hard to picture the hotel, but once you go through the door into the main courtyard you get a sense of calm in amongst the centre of the city. The bedroom was a very good size, very modern, clean and had a great vibe. The staff on reception were so friendly and so helpful. We arrived early and they were able to check us in and on our last day stored our luggage and booked a shuttle to the airport for 25 euros. The hotel is very central to all the main sights to see in town and easy to walk to. The breakfast was delicious and clearly all freshly homemade with attentive but not intrusive staff helping out. We would highly recommend this lovely small boutique hotel for a calm, modern and peaceful place to stay in the wonderful city of Catania.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel — everything was simply perfect. The atmosphere is incredibly calm, cozy, and beautifully boutique-style, which I personally loved as I’m not a fan of large hotels. The room was beautiful and spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom absolutely stunning and spacious. The moment you walk into the hotel, you instantly start to relax!!! Breakfast was excellent, but the true highlight of my stay were the two amazing receptionists. They helped me so much with navigating Sicily, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They made my entire stay even more special and memorable. People like them are exactly what makes a hotel truly feel like a hotel. They were a perfect example of how hospitality should look, and I’m incredibly grateful for their kindness and care throughout my stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience — I would happily come back anytime.

I have awarded top marks to this hotel. The team of staff are so friendly and quietly attentive. They made us feel welcome in the first minute we arrived. Our room was large, modern and clean with a super bathroom. Great shower, comfy bed. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first evening. We were tired from travelling and welcomed staying close. Food was really good, we both enjoyed this. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant…. What a treat! Fabulous buffet style, additional paid for options are available but we didn’t need those because the buffet range was excellent. The location is really good, easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go and to public transport links. We would 100% staff here again.
