Location. We have a 9 yrar old active boy who loves the beach. Staying on the beach is so perfect for us

Everything else about this resort is not good. The rooms smell of dank water. The toilet didnt work. The phone to reception doesnt work. The laundry was super expensive and they tried to charge for missing towels and a chipped glass which they withdraw whenni complained our door had been knocked on in the middle of the night waking us with fright. Where was security ?? Its a run down old resort with an average breakfast great location and nothing else going for it. Its expensive for what it is as my friend was staying at seashells a genuine 4 to 5 star hotel for only a little more in price. Never again would i go to this resort.

Great location, friendly staff, great pool, right on the beach. Good menu.

The rooms are a bit dated. The towels were very rough. Breakfast was basic for westerns.

Tesis ana caddeye yürüme 2 dk mesafede ve bu caddede herşeyi bulabilirsiniz. Tesis denize sıfır, long beach genel olarak güzel bir plaj değil. Plajda tesise ait şezlong, şemsiye ücretsiz. İsterseniz havuz da var.

Tesis epey eski. Biz bungalowda konakladık. Bölgede aşırı sinek var, pencerelere sineklik taksalar sorun çözülecekti fakat yok maalesef. Odadaki duşta sıcak su yoktu ve duş kırıktı. En önemli sorun ise yatak çok aşırı sertti. Yatak ve duş yüzünden otel değiştirmek zorunda kaldık, çünkü yatakların hepsinin böyle sert olduğu söylendi. Kahvaltı kişiden kişiye değişir, bu paraya ancak bu kadar da diyebilir, idare edebilir, ya da çok yer doyarsınız, tercih sizin,

Good location

Most of the hotel is very run down and looks abandoned in areas. The pool side is extremely slippy I actually slipped fell and injured myself there. There are rusty nails and pieces of wood sticking out around the pool and lounge area. The power cut out 5/6 times during our stay. The breakfast room and food are what you’d expect in a hostel/1 star venue. The shower is absolutely pathetic and rusty in areas. The AC in the room was also pretty weak and took about 3 days to get the room to a comfortable temperature. If you’re on a very tight budget it’s barely ok. Overall I wouldn’t recommend to anyone expecting facilities beyond 1 star.

El bungalow era grande pero la cama era muy dura e incómoda. La mampara no tenía cristal y no había agua caliente todos los días. Las instalaciones estaban muy deterioradas, falta mucho mantenimiento. El restaurante exterior que aparece en la foto no está activo y las fotos distan mucho de la realidad. Es un lugar para ir en grupo o familia, no lo recomiendo para ir en pareja porque no están nada cuidados los detalles y se siente un lugar frío y distante. Por el precio que pagamos dejó mucho que desear.

Veľmi pekný rodinný rezort s priateľskou atmosférou, ktoru vytvárali nie len zamestnanci, ale predovšetkým aj samotní majitelia. Priamo na peknej pláži, pričom bol k dispozícii aj veľmi pekný bazén dostupný počas celého dňa. Raňajky boli veľmi pestré, teplé aj studené bufety a tiez Vám kuchár pripraví vajíčka na viacero spôsobov. Ďalšími pozitívami boli - Pravidelný roomservice; Pravidelná starostlivosť o krásnu záhradu; Možnosť parkovať motorku; Strážna služba pri vstupe do arealu a aj v samotnom rezorte. Skvelá lokalita v tichom prostredi takmer v strede ostrova v dostatočnej vzdialenosti od rušnej ulice. Po asi 2 minútach chôdze sa ocitnete na rušnej ulici, ktorá ponúka pestrú paletu rôznych restauracii (vietnamské, talianske, čínske a pod.), taktiež je tam viacero obchodov s potravinami, požičovne mopedov, posilňovňa, práčovňa, obchody s oblečením a tiež predajňa originálnych riečnych a morských perál.

Každý rezort si vyžaduje starostlivosť o vybavenie, hlavne ak pôsobí 20 rokov ako tento pekný rezort a teda aj tu by sa našli veci, ktoré by bolo potrebne opraviť. Príkladom je terasová podlaha okolo bazéna, kde boli odpadnuté niektoré terasové dosky, no ich oprava šikovnému chlapovi nezaberie veľa času, čo zvýši aj bezpečnosť aj lepší pocit z pekného prostredia. Odporúčam zvýšiť schopnosť komunikacie v angličtine. Pri jednom recepčnom som radsej používal Google prekladač. Pri ostatných zamestnacoch to bolo podstatne lepšie. Google prekladač je však vec, ktorú človek veľmi ocení na celom ostrove, takže to nevnímam až tak kriticky.

Breakfast was a little limited, bread rolls, for Vietnam, were a little underwhelming. But great omelettes and pho.

Huisje aan strand geboekt. Binnen dramatisch verouderd. De buiten muren mogen wel eens opnieuw geverfd worden, zou er dan een stuk frisser. Geen bar buiten terwijl ze er een prachtige ruimte voor hebben. Keihard matras. Kussen voor de strand bedden zien er ook niet fris meer uit. Lief personeel. De manager had wel oor voor mijn klachten. 3 nachten eerder vertrokken. Uiteraard geen compensatie of iets. Ligging is prachtig, aankomst ook, dan houdt het echt op.

Die Unterkunft (Gartenbungalow) war gross, bequem und sauber. Davor eine Veranda mit Blick in den Vorgarten. Das Frühstück war zwar reichhaltig, aber die Qualität könnte besser sein (dünne Säfte, sehr weiche Butter, nur Toastbrot, keine Baguette). Allerdings kann man sich auch Omelett zubereiten lassen, das ist sehr lecker. Schade, dass die Bars nicht mehr in Betrieb sind. Die Liegen an Pool und Strand wären auch einmal erneuerungsbedürftig. Aber alles in allem - ich würde wieder hier buchen.

Lit extrêmement inconfortable. Les chaises de plage avec un coussin d’un pouce étaient plus confortables. Beaucoup de moisissures sur les joints dans la douche. Odeur nauséabonde dans la salle de bain. Belle emplacement pour la plage. L’hôtel a probablement été bien il y’a 15-20 ans

The location was superb, as you could walk to pretty much anywhere in Duong Dung. We had a room with an ocean view which is highly recommendable.

We have just stayed a this great little spot on the beach in Phu Quoc. We booked 6 nights in a bungalow right on the beach but when we arrived were told our room was not ready. Didn’t realise that it wouldn’t be ready until the next day though!!! We were disappointed but to the staff’s credit they put us in the VIP room for the night which was big but a bit dated. The worse thing was climbing the 4 flights of stairs each time because the lift was broken. True to their word, we were moved into our beachside bungalow the next day. This was amazing, a true relaxation watching the sunset each night. As for the resort, the pool area and breakfast space was fantastic but the property needed a little love We would love to return

Nagyon jó helyen van,közvetlen tengerpart,ami gyönyörű! Kevés a napágy,néha küzdeni kellet érte. A medence nagyon tetszik,jó helyen van.A lift nem működött,az ünnepek miatt nem is javították meg.A reggeli jó volt,bár a tojást csak 1! ember sütötte,igy fél órát is kellett várni,ha enni akartunk. A személyzet kedves,segítőkész.Megéri az árárt!

Gute Lage, sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war schön groß und immer sauber. Das Badezimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen. War top Aufenthalt.

Weinig ligstoelen Overgrote deel van de gasten komen uit een bepaald land uit het oostblok, qua gedrag niet altijd even gezellig, vooral voor het personeel niet

Location and own beach was amazing! Stuff was very attentive! Especially Kong 😉 Breakfast was delicious! Swim pool is big and available 24 hours.

Beautiful place with a stunning pool and private beach area. Everything we needed for a getaway trip.

トイレの水が流れません。手が痛くなる位押し続けないと流れないので大変でした。エレベーターも使えませんでしたので、3階まで登り降りしなければなりませんでした。 立地は良く、プールも楽しめましたが、それだけです。夜、フロントに、箸か、フォークを貸してほしいと言っても断られました。サービスも悪いですね。

Breakfast was good compared to the overall facility. Very near to the main street-restaurants-shopping area yet far away from the noise. Clean bed covers. Very big and nice pool with 1.6m depth and baby pool as well. Right on the beach. Massage is available on the beach ( not owned by the Resort) Watersports right next to the Resort on beachside. Staff was helpful. Warm water was not in the bathroom but the support staff quickly helped to turn on the valve. Room has very basic facilities and interiors. Pls. choose the right room as room category names are misleading!

The airport pickup was misleading. Message was sent to me as if it was complementary pickup but they charged me even more than the usual taxi. I booked 2 rooms but they were far away from each other. Early check in was promised but could not managed to arrange the rooms due to year end crowd. I stayed there for 5 days and the elevator was dysfunctional for all of my stay. Poor maintenance! The property is big but they need to improve a lot on maintenance- paint was peeling all over the property....stray dogs roaming even in restaurant area. Noise from the corridor enters the rooms. Door need to be soundproof.

Great location on the beach and well located for restaurants and shops etc. front of office managers and electrician/technician helpful in resolving issues. Had 2 rooms and both had to be moved.

Superior room Garden view was view of a building. Had to move room. Aircon didn’t work had to move room until fixed. Lift didn’t work. Flooring tiles broken, electric sockets boarded up nowhere to charge or put in their provided. Broken beach furniture.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the surprise addition of the two dogs on the property made it feel like home as they were gentle and sweet towards the guests.

The beds were too stiff, hot water and aircon was faulty.

It's an excellent location and nice place to relax. We chose the room right to the beach to have private atmostphere, only three steps to the beach. It's quite simple but all convenient. The day we came, the weather is cool, less sunshine, less waves and calm blue crystal water. The beach is very nice for wandering / swimming. The swimming pool is charming. It is face to the beach as well. It took me only ten minutes to go to Dinh Cau night market / some good local restaurants.

Location of the hotel. We had a beach bungalow which was great

Breakfast was very repetitive bland and boring. Drinks at breakfast were also boring. The decking around the pool wasn't very safe, had broken pieces and the coping stones around the pool edge were very slippy. The pool area itself is in need of a makeover.

The hotel exceeded our expectations and especially the price-quality ratio was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful, but there wasn't much variety. The location is excellent, the center and the market are within walking distance. The beach is clean and suitable for swimming and sunbathing.

The buildings and the general appearance is aging, in need of renovation. The room was cleaned daily, but not very carefully - for example, the trash and sand of the previous residents remained under the beds throughout our stay. Toilet paper was not added, we ended up buying it at the supermarket. The bed's mattress was rock hard, but we managed to sleep somehow, as we didn't have back problems etc. before. There were 5 of us staying in the room, we had to separately ask for a 5th towel, but for example only 4 bottles of water were brought. There were too few blankets and pillows for so many people. The water in the swimming pool looked clear, but when diving you could see how dirty the water was, it also burned the eyes - everything was not quite right.

Really really good location. We had a beach bungalow and it was literally straight on to the beach which had private sunbeds with availability every day. There were plenty bars and restaurants nearby including beach bars. Its half way between the attractions at the south and north of the island. The staff over night were really helpful with the minor issues we had and helped us organise day trips and taxis. The hotel dogs were also great fun!

As in other reviews the hotel is just a bit tired. Broken tiles everywhere, the beach bar never opened which was a shame. Broken equiptment in the room- kettle, needed a lick of paint to cover the cracks on the walls. The mattresses on the bed were terrible. We could feel every spring. This could be a really really nice hotel with just a bit more love. The staff were great except for when we were booking out. They tried to charge us for a missing saucer..... we never used a saucer. In the end we didnt have to pay and they admitted their error but something to watch out for!

Very nice resort. Perfect situatie at the sea, with nice swimmingpool. Personal was very very friendly and helpful.

Only the beach was nice.

I think that there are not enough symbols to describe what is wrong. The furniture is very old and falling apart. There is no bar or restaurant on territory. The staff is not very friendly. There are bars on all the windows and also with shutters. The hotel looks like a prison. The dark shutters cannot be opened, so there is no way to turn on the air conditioning. Breakfasts for 5 days did not change at all and if something ran out, they did not give more - rice, makarony, some fatty scraps that looked like meat, and everything else - a couple of fruits and vegetables. For food, you can only rely on pancakes and omelettes. When we checked into the room, it was dirty and covered in dust; only after asking the reception to clean it, something changed. The air conditioner did not work, but only blew. Behind the walls in all our rooms, a transformer or boiler was humming around 24 hours, so much so that the walls rattled. The door lock kept jamming and it was impossible to open the door from the inside. Hot water kept disappearing. At night - a passage yard. All rooms almost open onto the courtyard where people walk and shout until late at night. The hotel is full of russians. I was choosing between this hotel and a nearby one and I really regret that I chose this one. This. not even worthy of 3*.

The staff were great, location for beach and restaurants was perfect.

We had an issue with a toilet leaking, which they offered a new room for. We declined as it was our last night. We settled our bill , and just in a taxi to leave. The manager decides she wants to check if we owe money (even though engineer's looked the previous) , so made us wait while she inspected. Was the only downside really though. Everyone else was so polite and good to deal with

This is already my third visit here. Although the facilities were misunderstood, I think they are very good for the price.

They made the mistake of paying double. It's been 10 days since my trip and I still haven't received a refund. I raised the issue immediately after the second payment was made, but they told me to wait a month to process it.

We were with my husband having the best time at Kim hoa. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and pool, beach and the view… ahhh. Extra mention to super friendly and professional staff. We needed dentist one day and asked for a help from the staff. They did take care of everything, they even ordered taxi to drive us to dentist, where the had appointment to us. We were so grateful.

Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was not up to our normal standards. No bacon. No cheese. No variation.

The beach was very nice and clean, i think it is the best part of the long beach sunbeds are elevated and under mango’s trees. Pool is also nice with a nice view on the sea and sunset. Drinks are cheap and sandwiches good for a snack on the beach. The bungalows on the garden are nice and comfortable. Breakfast simple but good.

We had an issue with family room, but the team was ready to relocate us and find a solution, very helpful. The whole hotel need to be renovated, it is old.

The only good trait of the property is being sea front with direct access to the beach. There would be no other reason for staying at Kim Hoa.

The property is old, dirty and not in good conditions at all. Our room was full of cracks, very very old, crumbling furniture. Old and dirthy bathroom and scratches, holes and cracks all over the walls. The staff is non english speaker, almost impossible to communicate with them and/or managers. There is no emergency kit available - I got hurt and had zero assistance nor medical supplies to clean my wound. We requested a gluten free breakfast (or at least options we could choose from, given my sister is celiac) and they didnt provide anything. This is the most terrible place I have been at while in Vietnam and yet the most pricey! Stay away from this place!

What I like abt the hotel- 1. The location - it’s v central on the island and in the midsts of many nice restaurants and eateries. 2. The people - very polite, very nice and very accommodating. I asked for 3 additional pillows to my room and I can see their bewilderment yet they sent over. 3. Really beach fronting - it’s like u just walk down fr the hotel and it’s the beach already. 4. Friendly house dogs - I like dogs and the house dogs r well trained. They wld stay away fr the restaurant area unless some guests cajoled them over. Kinda nice to hv them welcoming u back everyday. What I dun like (the reason for the 3 star rating) 1. The hotel condition - it is really dated and old. The paint was peeling and the decor is like from 20 yr ago. Some bathroom fixtures were either broken and loose. 2. The breakfast - very simple fare and largely the same over the 5 days that I stayed here. They only varied the noodle with rice noodle and macaroni.

Good value for money. We stayed in the poolside bungalows which were basic but great to be close to the beach and pool. Great beachfront location, with sun beds and chairs to relax on both around the pool and on the beach. Large pool overlooking the beach. Moderate distance walk to the night markets etc. Able to hire motorbike from hotel for cheap price. Very cute dog on the properly and puppy which we loved playing with! Staff had basic English but we managed to get by with google translate assistance at times.

Bed was quite hard but manageable for a shorter stay. Basic decor and ammenities. Breakfast was basic buffet and was included with our stay. They held onto our passports for the duration of our stay which was initially a bit worrying but returned without issue on checkout.

The staff is polite and couteous. The facility location is beautiful in a quiet area. However the building is old and lack maitenance and it would be nice if !they clean the elevator once awhile!

Location of Kim Hoa Resort is really good and the beach very beautiful with lots of nice sun beds. We also enjoyed the local restaurants on a short walking distance!

However, communication was not always easy and in our case that lead to some unfortunate situations and misunderstandings. Upon arriving we asked if it was possible to upgrade to a bungalow on the beach (from one with a garden view), we were shown a room and payed for the upgrade. After paying staff realized that the beach room was only available 2 out of 4 nights, and we were instead offered a bungalow with pool view - still at a higher rate than the garden bungalow, but at a discount. The difference was suggested as a voucher but when asked for cash (or a transfer) we were told we could be refunded later that day. To be fair we probably could have chosen to move back in to the garden bungalow, at any time, to avoid some of the trouble. But the main problem was actually to get our refund. Every time we went to (or passed by) the reception we were told to come back later or some other day. This with reference to a manager who never showed up or seemed to be around. After we changed rooms we were also called to reception to figure out a situation revolving a missing towel. We tried explaining but ended up needing to show a headcount of all towels in our room to reception in order to solve what seemed to be a rather big issue. The pool bungalow unfortunately smelled a lot like smoke and had a broken lamp at the porch. Both issues were swiftly taken cared of for which we were thankful! The situations mentioned were not major things, but Kim Hoa resort was 1 out of 5 hotels that me, my husband and our 7 months old son visited in Vietnam during a longer travel and it unfortunately stood out in approach and what came across as willingness to help and or understand. I truly believe that most of the staff did everything they could to solve situations that arose - but that they perhaps was not provided with the necessary tools from who was in charge.

We liked the location, size of the property and the pool area. The resort is right at the beach. So, that's also a plus.

We booked the pool side room and those rooms were pretty average.

We had a poolside room - wonderful. Easy access to the beach but with stairs so not disability friendly. The beach was great - good for long walks. Great swimming in the sea. The pool was really lovely - bigger than appears on the site. The grounds staff were amazing - always working picking up leaves etc.

The resort is tired and in need of repair - particularly the steps going down to the beach. They were broken. The shower screen in our room needed a little patching up as the water leaked all over the floor. Not a biggie as long as your clothes are not on the floor. There was no room service and no bar which meant that we went elsewhere for Happy Hour!

Les chambres pas propres, des moustiques partout dans la chambre, une odeur d’humidité beaucoup trop présente, une literies pas confortables du tout. Les seuls points positifs de l’hôtel sont la piscine, l’accès à la plage et la position de l’hôtel !

Staff has no English at all, exept one person. Villas on the beach are very old but expensive, footpath is not very safe.

Their indoor swimming pool was not operational however property is having connected private beach.

We are vegetarian however there wasn't much options in breakfast for vegetarian. Mosquito is big problem in property and we have to complain it everyday. We have booked superior room and it was congested.

As I have been here 3 times before I rebooked because of the location. It's proximity to the town is a pleasant walk albeit having to navigate past motorbikes on foot paths. At least the footpath laying project is now completed. So much development ,good or bad , you be the judge.

The same problems with hot water and internet .No big deal but so much water is wasted until hot water arrives and internet via wifi is not reliable, I was in bungalow by the beach and loved it, the locals either massaging or selling fruit were great to chat to . The water, Wifi thing is not really a problem, it all happens if you wait. Service staff could not be faulted and were obliging.

There was a beach bar but it was closed, hopefully not for long.

Not impressed with this hotel. I realise it is only a 3 star hotel so we don't expect a lot........BUT....the beach bar is closed and left to rot and is a disgrace. The photos on travel sites and on their website are not accurate at all. When we checked in they gave us the wrong room and moved us out after we had settled in. There were hardly any guests so couldn't see the point in moving us. There was a splatter of blood on one of our room walls, albeit small it was still unnerving. The owner/manager had a family lunch in the restaurant off the foyer/pool area and they got so drunk that they were getting very aggressive and screaming and abusing each other. There were only 4 pool loungers for a large hotel. Our room supplies weren't replenished each day. Not a lot of good things to say about it really. Stay somewhere else.
