Our room was near the courtyard so it could be a bit loud at night, but overall sound was not too bad.

El hotel es hermoso y la "joyita" de La Joyita, son los chilaquiles de crema de chipotle. RIQUISIMOS!!

Es la cuarta ocasión que me hospedo en éste hotel y siempre ha sido genial, pero en esta ocasión el mesero que nos atendió nunca estuvo al pendiente de lo que necesitábamos. Estuvo ausente prácticamente todo el tiempo y eso que mi pareja y yo, eramos los únicos comensales hospedados en ese momento. Hemos tenido la oportunidad de ser atendidos por otros dos meseros que siempre están al pendiente, se acercan a preguntar si nos falta algo, recogen los trastes que ya no utilizamos y eso es lo que uno espera de un mesero, ni más ni menos. No necesito especificar quién es quien, pues la recepcionista recibió mi queja y sabe a quien me refiero. Espero que hagan algo al respecto, pues ese tipo de actitud y de atención no refleja lo que es el hotel en si. En serio no espero menos de la administración del hotel. Me gustaría hospedarme por quinta ocasión y ser atendido como lo habían hecho anteriormente y no como esta última vez.

Our room was very large, comfortable and well serviced. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the pool and garden. It was convenient to have a restaurant on the property and the food was well presented.

The rooms are all centred around a seating area for the restaurant and the pool area and could be a bit noisy at times.

The hotel is rustic in a charming way. The courtyard, pool and gardens are beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant is configured with tables on the covered porch, located directly in front and against the hotel room windows. The rooms are not at all soundproof. A group enjoying what appeared to be a family reunion, with a fussy child, conversed after dinner until close to 11 pm in front of my room. I would never interfere with family fun, but would have appreciated if after a reasonable hour, maybe 10 pm, that the staff might have asked them to relocate to tables outside their accommodations, on the other side of the courtyard. Yes, I would return to La Joyita, however I would look for a room away from my courtyard area.

The grounds are stunning. Simply beautiful. The staff is welcoming and super helpful. The young man at the front desk (who spoke perfect english) was so helpful. He found us a driver, and he communicated with a local spa to book us appointments. In every way, he was super professional. The restaurant has great food and service. The locals even come to eat here. 5 stars for this wonderful tranquill hotel.

Todo estuvo excelente, solo que las mesas donde estan desayunando las personas estan pegadas a la ventana de las habitaciones. Y a veces no es posible despertar mas tarde por que te despiertan los ruidos que hacen.

WARNING if you are looking for a place to relax, this place is a scam. It’s beautiful, but nothing works. They will give you a room where you can hear absolutely everything outside and they will SEAT people having breakfast literally outside of where you are sleeping. My husband and I were taking a shower and the people having breakfast outside could see inside and hear everything. Jacuzzi doesn’t work at all and when we tried to use the pool they were setting up for a party or whatever (noise, noise and more noise). It’s more like an event space than a hotel. We finally got fed up when they were blasting music on a Sunday at 9:40pm and decided to leave. Do not stay here if your intention is to have privacy and relax, there are better places in Cuernavaca.

Beautiful place, extremely great and friendly service, and there was always someone around who understood my English and bad Spanish! Meals were extra, and all very delicious and interesting. My king room was large, lots of space in the bathroom and closets. Unlike some others have reported, I thought the 15-20 minute walk to the historic center during the daylight hours was fine (but I love to walk).

The only thing I didn't like was that the music they played went until later into the evening and could be heard in my room. But it always stopped before I went to bed, so never disturbed my sleep.

The staff is very kind, we had a problem and they solved it immediately. The food is amazing, I recommend you to try as much as you can and also the sunday brunch. Amazing swimming pool and privacy.

The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. We had a king bed which was very comfortable. The courtyard and pool are very pretty. We did not go in, but it was lovely to see. The weekend buffet was very nice for a reasonable fee. The continental breakfast included with our room was adequate.

Water pressure was very week and showering was difficult. It is an old building and perhaps water is at a premium here. But for the price of our stay, I expected more. Cuernavaca is not really a walkable city. Most accommodations are outside the city center and not really safe to walk. Uber is very reasonable, so that did not end up being a problem. But this hotel is not walkable to the center as some reviews indicated. It is a 10 minute cab ride.

Me gusto el servicio del personal pero no me gusto dejar la llave de mi cuarto cada vez que salia. Tampoco salia agua lo suficiente para ban̈arse, no habia television, ni refrigerador bueno en pocas palabras nada. no volveria mas a ese lugar ni lo recomendaria.

The staff was super friendly and polite but the property itself was not the best. The rooms are rustic which is great but the utilities are so out dated. Minimal water comes out when you shower, the toilet does not work half of the time when trying to flush. The front desk will ask you for your ROOM KEY if you are stepping out. I have never stayed in a hotel who will keep your own room key. It made me feel hesitant about my belongings. The staff was amazing. I just wish the hotel was half of what the pictures showed.

It’s a beautiful property. You truly feel VIP the staff is so attentive y courteous, since the moment you walk in. I needed more days, I only booked one day just to check out the place. Next time I will stay a little bit longer.

La joyita seems like hidden place in Cuernavaca. Really I like the place.this this small hotel i think they have 6-7rooms max. If you dont wanna stay in the crowded place this hotel is really peacefull and nice. Price is good and very otantic room will be waiting for you

In the room there were some cockroachs. As i know this is very normal in Cuernavaca.but before giving the room they should have been checking the room once more. Becsuse we started to day with checking cockroachs

1. The staff was very happy and helpful 2. The Room was first rate. Room 7 was very quiet 3. The Sunday buffet breakfast was outstanding 4. The climate of the facility was very positive and relaxing 5. The staff worked to make our stay enjoyable 6. Firm king size bed 7. Very good air conditioner with remote control that worked all the time 8. Peaceful pool and garden area with lots of customer service at all times. If you have ever eaten at Cardinal in CDMX, the service is similar. 9. Internet speed in the room averaged 40-50. The speed averaged 20-35 in the garden and pool. This is very good internet in this city and at a small hotel. Never had a negative issue with our internet usage. This in itself makes this a very good choice in the area.

1. While our room was clean, beautifully decorated, and first class, the side table areas are not outfitted to handle charging devices. One of the bed side lamps had no outlet nearby and thus charging devices for the second person was not possible at the bed during the night, nor using the lamp that was provided. This really was not a problem but something that the hotel may want to correct in the future. Since the hotel is close to perfect why not shoot for perfect. 2. The pool was clean in the morning but as the day wore on it became quite filled with all the things nature can offer. As there are plenty of trees surrounding the pool, it is natural for some issues with cleanliness. My advice is to clean the pool in the morning and during the afternoon at least on weekends. A simple pool strainer to clean the top of the water line may take 15 minutes.

Bastante agradable y tranquila, el servicio es increíble, Enrique nuestro mesero en turno nos atendió MUY BIEN mi única observación es que la alberca y jacuzzi necesitan una pequeña remodelación y que no deberían de cobrar el café por taza (ya que son pequeñas), de ahi en fuera la comida del restaurante me sorprendió en sabor y presentación, mejor de lo que imaginé.

Hotel muy tranquilo, limpio. La gente muy amable, todos muy accesibles y atentos. Recomiendo.

Overall this hotel is ok, I enjoyed 2 days here with my girlfriend, but I will not return in the future The property is beautiful and unique in its style. Staff are extremely friendly and the food was very good. Pool, jacuzzi and garden are really nice However, there are several things that made me not want to return: - staff is not very professional or well trained (for example, it's really hard to get waiter's attention as they're typically chatting among them) - we had an issue with the room we reserved, as the pictures in expedia do not match the room you are a actually booking - rooms around the pool are extremely noisy and small. People start having breakfast right outside your window at 7am - rooms further away in the garden are more private and larger, but not as well decorated

The staff was excellent. Very helpful and kind. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good and we ate there each morning. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed how it was decorated. Short drive from the center of town, so lots of dining options when you get to that area.

Members of staff were fantastic, always happy to help. The gardens were very nice.

The room. The furniture was appalling! There was not a decent wardrobe; the curtains did not cover the windows, as they were shorter than the windows. There was not TELEVISION, a decent mirror, bedside tables in the bedroom. The bathroom furniture was too small and very old. The shower was too old, and there is much more we were sooooo disappointed about! Too expensive for was we got.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the La Joyita and it was a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. We opted to order breakfast from the menu beyond what was included with our stay and it was delicious. The sopes and enchiladas were delightful. There is a nice pool and food is served outside the rooms, which was a great touch. The hotel is about 17 min from the center, and it is walkable. However, Uber is also available and cost less than $4 per ride.

The patio is beautiful, service exceptional, and the stay was comfortable. The only downside is that the superior room seemed pretty basic and not superior.
