Reviewed Sep 19, 2026This is a simple modern hotel in downtown Tromsø. A city bus stop is on the next street for one direction and 2 streets away for the other direction. The hotel make a conscious effort to be environmental. Recently they added a display of statistics on their wall for energy and water usage per guest. Unlike some hotels, they actually are making an effort and not just talking about it. The clerk said it is required by law, but they don't just follow the law, they seem to really be making an effort.
They don't include breakfast with the room. This is ok, as I don't need a big breakfast and that keeps their prices lower. They have free coffee for Strawberry "members", which everyone can join for free. I wish rather than saying they don't serve breakfast they had better advertised that they have food items for sale, as that mentally affected my planning. I or made the suggestion that I could have bought something at the nearby market that morning or the night before. I'd have been quite happy eating it in their lobby lounge with a cup of coffee if they answered my question about breakfast differently - Rather than "no" say "no, but...".

No storage possibilities in the entire room - no wardrobe or shelves. No storage in the bathroom either - no place to put toiletries or hang the clothes.

The fee for companion animals was HIGH. If you have a dog, add 30 euros to the price of the room. There was no kettle, microwave oven or fridge in the room. The walk from the parking space to the hotel was long and agonizing since I had a lot of luggage, there was no parking by the hotel.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Hotel bardzo dobrze usytuowany, wszędzie blisko. Pokój czysty i przytulny, choć dość mały, wygodne łóżko. Recepcja przyjazna, choć nie ma śniadań to można kupić kanapki, musli, jogurt itp. Dostępna gorąca woda oraz kawa przelewowa (za darmo dla członków programu lojalnościowego Strawberry), można też zamówić herbatę, a nawet pizzę. Bardzo dobry wybór na kilka dni.
W części pokojów nie działa klimatyzacja. Mimo 10 stopni na zewnątrz w naszym pokoju było 26 stopni i nie dało się obniżyć temperatury. Zaproponowano nam zmianę pokoju, ale nie skorzystaliśmy, bo już byliśmy rozpakowani, po prostu otworzyliśmy okno. Gdyby jednak padał mocny deszcz, byłoby to niemożliwe.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Il confort hotel express è vicinissimo al centro, raggiungendo a pochi minuti musei, ristoranti, supermercati e caffetterie. E la fermata del bus airport express da e per aeroporto è a due minuti dall'hotel Avevo scelto la camera matrimoniale compatta, è piccola ma per me che viaggiavo da sola era sufficiente.
Le pulizie delle camere e il cambio delle lenzuola e asciugamani vengono fatte ogni 3-4 giorni, perciò si accumula molta polvere nel pavimento. Il bagno non ha il bidè.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026A comfortable hotel, situated just a stone’s throw from the centre of Tromsø. The self-check-in process was very straightforward and quick. The room had everything we needed, was reasonably clean and practical.
It was all very decent, although the bed’s position was rather awkward. With one side of the bed pressed up against the window, if someone was already asleep, you had to climb over them to get to your own side or get out of bed
