We had a wonderful stay at Dar Yassmine in Tangier. The property is beautiful, clean, and full of traditional Moroccan charm. The location is very convenient for exploring everything you want to see in the Old Medina. If you enjoy walking, you really don’t need a taxi, as many of the main places and attractions are easily reachable on foot. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, Dar Yassmine was a lovely place to stay and a great base for discovering Tangier. We would happily return on our next visit and definitely recommend it!

The only negative aspect was not related to Dar Yassmine itself, but rather to some of the surrounding streets in the Old Medina. There were quite a few people asking for money or food,and unfortunately some of them were persistent and impolite, which could feel uncomfortable when walking around. This is completely outside the property’s control, but it is something to be aware of, especially if you are exploring the area on foot.

Todos muito prestaveis, educados e simpáticos. Muito bem localizado na medina.

Alguns quartos dão para uma área interior, sem janela para o exterior, tornando-se pouco ventilado.

Our room was so small we couldn’t even open a luggage on the floor. Bathroom was not clean and had other people’s hair in the shower.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bon car pas trop enfoncé dans la médina et vraiment dans le centre ville de Tanger

Muy buena ubicación, muy limpio y, sobre todo, personal muy agradable. Se agradece poder comunicarte en español y resolvieron amablemente las dudas que nos surgieron.

camera molto piccola, appena sufficiente per muoversi. Non c'è spazio per sistemare i vestiti. Colazione insufficiente e di scarsa qualità (solo la piadina tipica locale e un po' di cioccolato o di ricotta confezionata), qualche volta c'era della frutta e il caffe americano: considerando che hanno chiesto 6 euro a testa (cioè il prezzo medio di un piatto unico in un ristorante a pranzo) sinceramente non va bene. In bagno era presente solo 1 flacone di bagnodoccia per lavarsi per due persone e non è stato sostituito (ho dovuto usare il sapone che mi sono portato da casa). Abbiamo girato mole strutture in marocco e questa è l'unica in cui non tornerei.

Colazione terribile (es. formaggini con muffa), da evitare. La struttura è proprio di fronte a una moschea, nel mezzo della notte si viene svegliati dal muezzin con i richiami alla preghiera. La struttura è in un violetto cieco nella medina, da cui salgono miasmi maleodoranti

So centrally located. Just a ten minute walk and easy to find from ferry. Staff was friendly and helpful. Liked the view from the upper level room. Beautiful view from the breakfast room!

I had read the reviews about the smell of the rooms but was hoping I wouldn't have that issue. Unfortunately, my room which only had a window looking to the inside, smelled so musty. My friend had a room that had a window to the outside but with a smell she couldn't tolerate. She complained but was told there was nothing they could do. She and I switched rooms which fortunately were tolerable to each of us. Air conditioning control is outside the rooms for each level. Despite two staff members trying to help, it didn't work the first night. Fortunately, it worked the rest of my stay. Breakfast is included but was offered 8-10am, so we were only able to have two of five breakfasts because of our early sightseeing schedules. I requested at least coffee at 6:30am on two days. They were kind to oblige, but the coffee wasn't ready on time both days so we only had a little time to drink it before we left. Shower water kept spilling over beyond the stall despite my opening the drain. I'd have to turn off the water at least a couple of times each time I showered to try to keep the water in the stall. Grand mosque is so close to the hotel that I would hear the call to prayers blasted on speakers of the tower each time and even wake up to it in the middle of the night. My friend who had the interior room didn't hear it. I'd see an ant periodically in the room. Not a problem. However, on my last night there, I put an empty can of Sprite on the bathroom floor next to the trash can. About 1-2h later, an entire colony seemed to find it coming from a window above the shower stall, marching in a line around the stall, down the wall, onto the floor and into the can. It was past 11pm, so I didn't want to have to ask the male employee for assistance. So I got rid of the ones I could reach and washed out the can. Somehow that stopped the rest of the ants from coming.

Bem localizado na medina e perto de tudo. O pequeno almoço é bom e a vista ainda melhor.

El baño olía a desague y había hormigas por la pared de la ducha y alguna en la habitación. Había que estar atento al aire acondicionado, lo quitaban sin avisar y había que pedirlo cuando necesitábamos conectarlo, ya que hacía mucho calor. Nos dijeron que su servicio de taxi al aeropuerto costaba 200 dhm igual que si cogíamos un taxi en la calle, y no fue así. En la calle nos costó 150 dhm. Echamos de menos un armario ropero. No había.

Lovely place. Right inside the medina and easy to find. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace. Staff went out of their way to make our trip memorable.

El cuarto de baño olía a desagüe y el pago del hotel solo se podía hacer en efectivo, lo que nos supuso sacar el dinero del cajero y pagar una comisión de 40 euros extras.

The host and staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and the roof top was very relaxing.

The location was ideal, and the view from the rooftop terrace was stunning. Breakfast was good and served on the terrace.

The only disappointing thing was the smell in the bathroom.

La posizione di Dar Yasmine è convenientemente situata vicino uno degli ingressi della Medina, e su una delle strade principali che porta a dove si fermano o taxi. L'albergatore è stato gentile, ci ha organizzato il transfer aeroportuale e ci ha dato utili indicazioni sui prezzi dei taxi e le tempistiche per raggiungere la stazione dei pullman

Come nella maggior parte delle strutture alberghiere all'interno della medina, la stanza ha solo finestre che danno verso l interno della struttura, mancando quindi un po' di luce naturale. Gli scarichi del bagno, data l'età della struttura, facevano un po' fatica a far defluire l'acqua

Posizione eccezionale nella Medina, a 15 minuti a piedi dal porto di Tangeri, ove attraccano i traghetti da Tarifa. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Buona la prima colazione fruibile all' ultimo piano con vista sul porto. Scelta discreta, considerato che la struttura viene classificata "maison d'hôtes".

Ingresso alla struttura in po' angisto. Sapevamo che la camera standard è d piccole dimensioni con finestre che danno sull'atrio interno. Noi avevamo un trolley e una valigia da stiva. Ci si muoveva a fatica. In base ai bagagli e al numero delle notti è consigliabile la camera di categoria superiore. La chiamata alla preghiera dal minareto accanto può essere un problema. Per noi non lo è stato. La prima notte persisteva in camera un odore poco gradevole, prontamente risolto il giorno successivo.

Està molt ben situat dins la medina. Hi ha aparcament a 5 minuts a peu. Es un lloc acollidor. A l'arribada com a momts Riads o Dars t'ofereixen te. Els llis son amples i molt comodes . Habitacio correcte, no molt grans però adequades. A dalt hi ha una terrassa on t'ofereixen un bon esmorzar buffet.

We spent 5 days at Riad Yasmin and had a wonderful stay. The riad offers beautiful sea views and is in an excellent location – just a short walk from the old Medina, the new town, and the port. The breakfasts were good, and the staff at reception were always friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Houssam who was exceptionally attentive and always made sure that everything was taken care of and that our stay went smoothly. The riad was very clean, and our room was cleaned every day. One thing we particularly enjoyed was that the riad is located right next to the Grand Mosque. Hearing the daily calls to prayer added to the authentic atmosphere and made our experience in Tangier even more memorable and unique. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend it to others.

The property itself was very central, it has breakfast which unfortunately we had to miss due to traveling conflicts, and staff was very helpful with taxi

The beds were very very very stiff, if you love a firm mattress with no give this ones for you. Slight sewer smell, just keep bent room door closed. The call to prayer was extremely loud given that the mosque is right across from the Riad, and the soundproofing is weak. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper don’t book here because you will be woken up at 4:00 AM.

L'accueil très professionnel et très chaleureux de nos hôtes qui ont maintenu l'ouverture du riad qui devait être fermé tout simplement pour éviter que nous nous trouvions en difficulté. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette hospitalité qui nous est chère et qui a été offerte avec beaucoup de délicatesse. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse dominant la baie de Tanger vue dans sa totalité, est servi avec une grande gentillesse et est très varié et bon. Le riad est placé vraiment au centre de la ville historique. Il faut ajouter que les chambres sont claires, décorées simplement et joliment avec un confort très appréciable. Vous l'aurez compris, nous avons été conquis.

TOT! La ubicacio, es veu mot cuidat, detalls decoratius sense carregar. La neteja , tot molt net. Habitacions comfortables, petites pero molt comodes. I sobretot l’amabilitat del servei, estan molt atents a que la teva estància sigui el millor possible, qualsevol petita incidència la solucionen al moment.

We were very pleased with our room, and found it quiet and comfortable. The host was particularly helpful when we arrived later than we had expected, and was happy to arrange a taxi for us to get to the station next morning and to show us where we could get some cash. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning and seeing the views. The selection of food was very good.

We had some difficulty finding Dar Yasmine in the first place. The directions we had previously taken from Google Maps were impossible to follow in the dark and we ended up walking a long way round through the medina as a result. Fortunately a couple of extremely helpful people showed us the way.

Todo en general, habitación, la amabilidad de la gente tanto a nuestra llegada, salida, asesoramiento. El desayuno también estaba muy bien. Limpieza muy buena en nuestra habitación. Facilidad tanto en entrada como en la salida.

A localização na medina é muito boa, sendo um ponto ótimo para passeios a partir de Tânger. A estrutura do quarto é excelente e a limpeza também foi maravilhosa.

Per quanto le finestre siano aperte e ci sia profumatore, la camera rimane piuttosto umida ma credo sia una questione strutturale dei classici Riad. La colazione buona ma poco curata, consiglio di scongelare i cibi prima di servirli. Nel complesso comunque siamo stati bene.

Didn’t ruin the stay but like most of our stays in Morocco there is a plumbing smell in the room.

The staff are helpful and always pay attention to detail. They want you to enjoy your stay and make sure you get the most out of your visit - both at the hotel and in the city.

J’ai réservé cet établissement pour mes parents (75 ans) et tout s’est déroulé au-delà de nos attentes. Dès leur arrivée, l’accueil a été exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné, et d’une grande gentillesse. L’équipe a pris le temps de de les rassurer et de leur donner de précieux conseils tout au long du séjour. La propreté des lieux est irréprochable, les chambres sont confortables et très bien entretenues. La situation géographique est idéale, permettant de profiter pleinement de la fourmillante médina de Tanger tout en étant au calme. La terrasse est un véritable coup de cœur : un endroit paisible avec une vue magnifique, parfait pour se détendre. Le petit déjeuner est également excellent, copieux et de grande qualité. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour leur disponibilité et leurs recommandations, notamment pour les excursions autour de Tanger, qui ont largement contribué à rendre ce séjour encore plus agréable. Grâce à Dar YasminE, mes parents ont vécu un séjour inoubliable. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
