The room was big and spacious. I loved the outdoor shower, how the diving center was part of the hotel and the restaurant.

I have stayed here for a over a week! It was absolutely amazing, i came here wanting to get my basic open water certificate and left a specialty diver. It was made possible by the amazing staff and instructor komang.

Доброжелательный персонал. Вкусные завтраки, вообще ресторан отеля хороший, еда вкусная. Чистые номера, уборка каждый день. Отличный дайв-центр, организуют погружения, доставляют на место и полностью готовят снаряжение, если нет партнера, с вами будет погружаться гид, и все это по достаточно демократичным ценам, мне очень понравилось. Очень благодарен за помощь с вызовом такси до Убуда, так как через агрегатор в Туламбене проблема вызвать.

В бунгало санузел частично на улице, само по себе это неплохо, но будьте аккуратны с вкючением света в бунгало вечером, так как дверь в санузел полупрозрачная и туда на свет налетает много насекомых, потом не очень приятно туда ходить, пока не разлетятся)) Обратите внимание, что за пределами отеля в округе вообще нечего делать, место исключительно для дайвинга и релакса, в этом плане 10/10….

Great place for diving and snorkling

Frühstück gab es á la Carte und war immer hervorragend. Eine tolle Auswahl und immer ausreichend und frisch. Die dazugehörige Tauchbasis war super organisiert. Wir hatten für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts einen Guide mit dem wir nach Wunsch die Tauchgänge planen konnten. Als Taucher und Fotografen wussten wir die vielen Steckdosen im Zimmer sehr zu schätzen. Der Pool war groß genug und sauber. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein defekter Schlauch im Bad wurde nach Rückmeldung umgehend ersetzt. Organisation von Ausflügen wurde auf Anfrage ebenfalls durchgeführt. Danke :)

The staff were very well trained - which gave me confidence that there would be a high level of hygene in the kitchen; so ate at the hotel restaurant or partner restaurant every night.

The rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms. They are very thoughtful about a few things and have kept umbrellas, mosquito coils & sprays, extra extension cords and even a diffuser (you can ask for essential oils you prefer) in the rooms. The property has an in-house restaurant that serves good food through the day including alcohol. They also have a nice view of Mt. Agung. The pool seems nice, I did not use it however was busy everyday. If you are interested in massages they will arrange for masseuse to come to you, and have a massage in your room, patio or by the pool - this is really nice.

The beds are not comfortable at all. It’s really hard and I really could not get much sleep. I don’t think the team cleans the room everyday nor change the towels, or even refill the water or clean the coffee cups. I had to do this myself. The power goes on and off quite often, but this may not be in their control? What I was really disappointed was that the water in the shower ran out one day while I was in the bath and there was no way to call anyone - no phones to the reception as well. I waited in the bathroom helpless for at least 15 min before the water started again. Please not the resort is SSI registered and not PADI so if you are on a diving trip please use another dive Centre if needed.

It was close to diving, the restaurant was good, and the coffee was good. They had a bar. It’s a quiet town but we meet fellow travelers there.

Sehr schöner Bungalow in einer ruhigen Anlage mit gepflegtem Garten – perfekt zum Entspannen nach dem Tauchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Auch das Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert – besonders das Schnitzel und das Cordon Bleu waren sehr gut. Es gibt einen Trinkwasserspender, was wir super fanden. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

J'ai demandé à passer le padi mais malgré leur accord. Je me suis retrouvé avec un accompagnateur plongeur et non un instructeur donc pas de Padi très déçu !

Breakfast and all meals were fantastic and big. Staff were really friendly and helpful and I had a massage that was amazing. Was one of the hardest massages Ive ever had but she fixed a lot of my back pain, it was great. Room was big, clean, and the bed and pillows best we have had on the trip :)

Not much to do in the area other than diving but was a good chance to do nothing and read

On hot day with no breeze can get warm outside the room, but conversely when windy has some protection . Rooms not as large as some other places we stayed, but then we are comparing apples with oranges. Apart from diving/snorkeling, not much else to do in Tulamben

The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, and the gardens and pool and areas are beautifully clean and well maintained. Their in-house restaurant at the hotel and the owners' additional restaurant (Slice and Brew) on the main road provide delicious and generous food portions with local and European options. The location of the hotel is just off the main road, on a quiet side street. It is only a 2 minute walk to where all the popular Tulamben dive sites are located just off the beach. We are dive professionals and have dived in Tulamben before, so Ricardo was gracious enough to allow us to rent some of their tanks and go diving unassisted. They allowed us total flexibility with our dive schedule, and the staff were quick to arrange the porters and truck to take us to and from the beach whenever we requested it.

It is really convenient for diving, everything is ready for you to go and enjoy it. The food was delicious and the staff was really friendly.

Inconsistent tidying of room- towels were not replaced even though they were placed on the floor. Shower had no hot water and toilet was smelly. Dive centre was dirty.

Rooms were big and comfy. Outside bathroom was amazing with great shower pressure. Also breakfast and restaurant were top level.

Good value for money. Outside bathroom was nice! Large room. Good location and the bar is nice to hang out in the evening. Airconditioning works well. Friendly staff.

The bed was not that comfortable (very firm). In the early morning there are hens making quiet some noise. Make sure to bring earplugs. The curtains aren’t completely darkening so bring an eyemask if you’re sensitive to that :). Warm water runs out pretty quickly so you can’t take long hot showers.

The rooms are as advertised and the facilities outside are good for relaxing. There is a restaurant on property with quite tasty food.

Minus points and a warning for anyone who wants to work remotely from here between dives - the internet connection is horrendous. It constantly disconnects or just stops working. Additionally, there is no hairdryer available, and the water is not being delivered to rooms for some reason (you can get it yourself, though).

The property is close to quite a few restaurants, main purpose for our trip is for diving. Close to a lot of popular dive shops.

Great little resort, very friendly staff, nice pool, nice rooms, decent restaurant. I did a dive with them to the wreck which was fantastic and would highly recommend them for diving. They also have snorkeling gear you can rent which we did on the first day there which was very nice too.

Location appeals to divers. The coastline has some black sand but is quite rocky.

A little garden of Eden shared by only few guests at a time. A very well maintained property matching occidental expectation standards. We spent Nyepi there and the management did all they could to make it an enjoyable experience. Thanks to them again

Loved the amazing and knowledgeable dive Masters at this well run and experienced dive center! If you’re an expert diver you will love working with them. Beginner divers are also well taken care of and will have a great experience 🫶🏽

No water bottles in the rooms but there’s a common water bottle station.

staff/owners are very welcoming, very easy to scuba dive. I done 2x shore dives, dive guide was amazing, attentive and relaxed. room/hotel was clean.

I would recommend having Netflix or similar, as after diving there’s not a lot to do in the area.

The property was clean with the lawns and gardens well loved. I accidentally left my regs at the hotel so Ric, the owner organized to have them dropped to me in Kuta. Pretty darn good of him! Diving was walking distance away. The staff were very respectful and kind.

Maybe install a fridge in the rooms

Everything in one package and everything is of a great quality. Very peaceful and right next to a busy and dive centre if you are a diving addition. If you're into less intense and more family oriented diving experience - Ocean Sun has is all built in.

It would be good if I could leave a sign: Please don't clean my room. I got tired of pulling the sheets from under the mattress.

No hot water

Diving was great, dive guide was really good and nice, also price for diving was really REALLY good! Breakfast was acceptable - we asked for cheese omelette (on the menu) with veggies, it really way nice cause slightly asian style. They organised very cheap tickets to Gili Islands and a scooter, although scooter took like 45mins to arrive.

Honestly, we were really struggling and trying hard to find good things. The staff was friendly, but spent ALL their time on their mobile phones.. doesn’t matter if you’re trying to order food or drinks, they simply don’t care or, as said, are way more interested in TikTok. The room was really hard to accept. We arrived and there were (not even kidding!) min. 60 mosquitos flying around. We killed so many icky buggs and worms etc withing the first few hours of arriving. We felt so uncomfortable sleeping or even just being in the room. There‘s a ventilator, but it‘s useless.. so slow you could watch the arms go around. The tiny shampoo bottle etc. was used before by previous guests and not refilled/swapped. There were no cocktails etc available, the wine really was horrible. The food (as said, except for breakfast and also indonesian food, which was also okay, but not near as good as good as pretty much any other place in Bali/Indonsia) was truly inedible - the burgers were simply superdry and horrible, anything „fried“ tasted like cooked in 5-day old fat.. which it probably was. Honestly, I own and run a hotel myself. If I book a 3-star hotel (simply for location, good reviews, good diving spots around), I truly do not expect much. But this was just a place where we really did not want to come back to in the evening and we were so glad to leave. There are so many amazing places in and around Bali.. but this simply is not one of them and as sorry as I am (I really do not like leaving „bad“ reviews), I just have to tell it as it is/was.

We really loved staying here. The place is pretty and very well maintained. Very beautiful bathrooms, big rooms and everything is super comfy and clean. The best thing about this place is that they care for nature and the environment. They have a water refill station so you don't have to waste lots of plastic bottles and they only wash the towels if you want them too. ❤️ Thank you so much for helping to protect our beautiful planet!

Our group had a really nice 4 nights visit at Ocean Sun. The beach was clean and the water had good visibility for snorkeling. Lots of sealife close to shore. The staff at the restaurant and hotel were first class. The only disappointment was the restaurant which is called Hops and Chops was no so Vegatrian friendly, but what can you expect with a name like that. We found plenty of alternative restaurants in close proximity. The pool, room and grounds were very well maintained. We loved the view of the Volcano from our room Dolphin 🐬

The room is big and the semi-outdoor bathroom is really appreciated. The breakfast is not a buffet as it is written on hotels.com, you even have to choose between juice OR plate of fruit. The restaurant has great food for lunch and dinner.

Scuba diving in Tulamben was amazing and Ocean Sun Dive Resort was the best place to relax afterwards. Did not eat anywhere else as the food here was some of the best I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Ocean Sun Dive Resort to anyone.

Good place, affordable price, food was fresh and great. German chef makes sure u don't go hungry. Compared with other places no doubt u will not be disappointed

Nice and big rooms. The outdoor bath is just perfect and big as well. Breakfast was delicious. Within 3' walk you are at the beach. Rent a scooter and go around it's beautiful. Amed beach is close and very nice. Friendly and helpful staff. You can easily come here fr 1 week only for diving.

Das Resort ist fantastisch. Ruhig. Sehr nahe am Stand und wenn man Tauchen will ideal gelegen da viele Spots wenige Minuten entfernt sind. Das Essen war toll und die Bedinung super freundlich. Danke Ricardo für das BBQ war super lecker.

Melhor hotel que ficamos em Bali. Perto dos pontos e mergulho, quarto espaçoso e extremamente limpo. Café e manhã bem servido. Staff muito atenciosos e os dive masters super calmos tranquilos e prestativos. Vale a pena ficar aqui.
