The position and being on the beach front was lovely. Very comfortable and private rooms. Great to dive straight from resort.

No shade for sun-beds. Small pool especially as used for divers. Not very clear on when you have your massage.

The view from the pool is breathtaking, the outdoor bathroom is really nice, and breakfast is a real treat. I went on a private tour with a great guide!

Staff very friendly. Room was good in size and condition. Restaurant was open throughout the day with a variety of dishes. The diving centre took well care of me, the guides were very helpful.

Mimpi Resort Tulamben exceeded every expectation. Our villa was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly relaxing. We especially loved the koi ponds and the private outdoor seating area—it felt like a peaceful oasis after a day of diving. We also loved the outdoor shower. The restaurant on site was excellent, with consistently delicious meals, and the pool was tranquil and beautifully maintained. The location couldn’t be better for diving, literally steps from some of Tulamben’s best dive sites. The dive center was outstanding. The team closely monitored conditions and adjusted our dive plan to make sure we had the best experience possible. We ended up having some of the best dives I’ve ever done, and the private dives made the experience even more special. The complimentary massage was a wonderful bonus and the perfect way to unwind after diving. We came here from the Four Seasons, and Mimpi was equally charming (though quite different). If you’re coming to Tulamben, I can’t recommend Mimpi highly enough. Between the beautiful resort, fantastic food, incredible dive operation, and warm hospitality, it was a 10/10 stay. We’ll absolutely be back.

Mimpi è una piccola struttura molto ben tenuta, ogni dettaglio è curato, lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. Vi abbiamo soggiornato per fare qualche giorno di relax e diving: c’è un centro diving interno con cui ci siamo trovati molto bene. Disponibili e flessibili, sono venuti incontro alle nostre richieste. Abbiamo fatto diverse immersioni, ci siamo rilassati a bordo piscina e abbiamo mangiato bene. Nei dintorni ci sono diversi ristoranti nel caso si voglia cambiare un po’. Il panorama sul mare non stanca mai.

Absolutely beautiful report, with amazing views of the beach. In the centre of all the best snorkelling/ diving spots! Staff were exceptionally kind and friendly.

Well located and designed clean and good service

Location is great for beach dive. Can see other day trippers coming in to use the same beach to set off from. And it’s right in front of Mimpi. The food was really very good. Nasi goreng, steak, breakfasts. Simple foods but exceptional quality and reasonable prices. The rooms are old, abit dark, but when I asked for extra lamps they brought them. Not enough power points, I asked for extension cord, they also brought. They accommodated my large family in patio rooms and were very generous about it. I love the outdoor shower! And space to hang wet gear. I like the patio and the chairs outside room. The dive centre is so convenient and my family loved the 2 instructors we had. They were so cautious and helped us all the time. They were so safety conscious and reassuring. Drive to wreck and Macro site were so organised too. It was a good place to take basic and advanced open water. A few restaurants outside the hotel are really good too. Old but very clean room. Polite staff.

Amazing beach front- step out and swim in the ocean then laze around the pool. Bungalow are self contained with outside showers and day bed.

The breakfast was very good. The accommodation is located directly by the sea and next to the beach, which is rocky, so it is a good idea to have water shoes. The sea was relatively calm, making it suitable for swimming. While snorkeling, you can see many kinds of fish just a short distance from the shore. The resort also has a beautiful garden.

At dinner, I wanted to order a club sandwich because I was craving one and it was part of the lunch menu. However, the club sandwich was not on the dinner menu, and the restaurant staff refused to make it for me, saying that it was only available on the lunch menu. So I left the restaurant and went to have dinner at a restaurant outside the resort. This is not a very customer-friendly approach, and compared to other resorts, there is definitely room for improvement in this area. The food in the restaurant is quite overpriced, but there are many restaurants and local warungs available outside the resort. The pool was very, very cold, possibly because it does not get much sunlight during the day as it is shaded by palm trees. The sea was definitely warmer. Also, not many people were swimming in the pool. The hotel could definitely keep the pool warmer.

Breakfast was excellent, there was something for everyone, a great selection well cooked. We were a party of seven and everyone had something different. Great value for money.

The breakfast was basic, but the bungalow itself was nice. Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbors and had to upgrade to a quieter room at our own expense. On the bright side, the room was spacious, and the outdoor bathroom was lovely, featuring a charming little garden and a relaxing outdoor seating area. The location is also great and close to good restaurants.

Beautiful setting. Stunning outdoor bathrooms. Quiet and well working aircon. Lovely pool. Plenty of dry towels. Delicious food menu. Staff were so friendly. Top notch diving and dive shop set up. Loved my 7 night stay here with 16 scuba dives. Very good value. Lovely massage at onsite spa.

A bit old and basic breakfast

the resort is right on the ocean, the room we stayed in was their ocean front and the layout of the room was great. It had so much potential.

Very good breakfast and delicious coffee. The view from the pool is beautiful. Unfortunately the waves were big and was very windy when we came so better to call them first and ask the weather. But the stay is perfect. We could still enjoy in the pool even though it was bad weather.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Accommodations were nice and clean, and the outdoor shower was great—good pressure and hot water. We paid to upgrade to a beachfront villa and loved it for its spaciousness and outdoor lounge area. We did six dives with their on-site dive centre and really enjoyed the convenience, options and dive guide. Reasonably priced diving, especially considering the low dive-to-guide ratio; most of our dives were just the two of us and the guide. Highly recommended for divers. We also found lots of cafes and restaurants we liked within walking distance, and small grocery stores for snacks and drinks.

A property-wide bug fumigation/spray that I can’t imagine is good for people or the environment. We received written warning so left and watched from afar. Wow.

Der Strand ist nicht für einfaches schwimmen geeignet. Steinig und keine liegen, keine entdpannungsmöglichkeiten am Strand. Auch sitzen ist nicht möglich. Im Haus ist das Bad halb Ofen. Die Insekten kommen massenhaft und auch in das Zimmer rein, sobald man in das Bad geht.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Anlage ist schon etwas älter. Das Bett hatte Flecken und war hart. Das Essen im Restaurant ist mittelmäßig. Uns hat es nicht sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Preisleistungs Verhältnis im Gegensatz zu dem was man sonst auf Bali bekommt passt hier nicht.

Location is great

In general it's dated and they seem to think they are offering luxury whereas it's way behind competitors. The food is atrocious. If there aren't many people staying in hotel, the breakfast buffet is switched for a rubbish a la carte where there are no nice options. The fruit platter is pathetic and things like allowing you either fruit or juice seems extremely tight. No cappuccino or other nice coffees included. Everything is overpriced. There are many signs around warning you what they could charge you extra for (lost towels, jar bottles, etc.).You can get a good massage from the place opposite (Baboon) for half the price and laundry nearby much cheaper. Also the service in restaurant was bad.

Snorkelen boven het scheepswrak is geweldig, en je kunt het vanuit dit resort zó doen! Het restaurant van Mimpi is super, heel lekkere barramundi en merengue toe, écht een aanrader!

Het 'strand' bestaat uit ronde stenen, je kunt er niet gaan liggen (op de ligstoelen op het terras van het resort er vlak achter natuurlijk wel).

Le site est magnifique, meme si la plage est pas tres propre ni accessible.

Le fait que votre site ne mentionne pas clairement qu'il s agit dun hotel non fumeur, je me suis sentie oppressée tout mon séjour et linflexibilite de l'hôtel m a dérangée au meme titre que davoir ete facturee pour un toast demande pour accompagner ma salade alors qu etant seule j'ai paye dans tous les cas 2 petits dej ... un peu abusé

Unfortunately the water didn’t work majority of the time during our stay. We woke up on both mornings to not being able to flush our loo, take a shower, or brush our teeth with water. Water remained off until early afternoon.

Beautiful relaxing resort on the edge of the water. Great facilities in a peaceful setting. The staff are all so friendly and the service is exceptiional. One of the nicest places we have stayed anywhere, good value for money too. We also enjoyed the restaurant on the waterfront. Would go back anytime.

Прямо в отеле дайвинг центр с оборудованием и инструкторами. Отель расположен вдоль рифа и можно целый день плавать с рыбами и черепахами. Там же нам дали ласты для снорклинга ! Питьевая вода в свободном доступе на территории. Очень внимательный персонал.

Не очень вкусная еда в ресторане, маленький выбор блюд с морепродуктами.

Hotel is beautiful - very calm and good location. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. Bathroom is super beautiful. Pool area is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Diving was also quite good, equipment was in good condition. The staff in reception were always very nice and helpful.

The staff at the restaurant was sometimes not very nice - they tell you at reception that the breakfast is until 10:30am however if you arrive any later than 9:45 the staff will give you trouble saying that you can only order until 10am which was not mentioned at all. The dive master we had was great as just a guide, which we had no issue with but more novice divers be aware of this if you're looking for someone that might be a bit more mindful. We had a massage and while it was nice, it was not very good and a bit overpriced - prob wouldn't do it again. We only ate at the hotel restaurant and got Bali Bely that lasted for more than 4 days so proceed at your own risk...

Really great experience staying there. The staffs are so friendly. The view in the restaurant is stunning and the food is also good! Definitely recommend it!

On a adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel au bord de l’océan. Niveau qualité prix top. Par contre je ne recommande pas le petit déjeuné ou alors il faut se lever très tôt. Nous avons fait la grasse matinée, et malheureusement aucun réassort, le pain était rassis, pour le même prix qu’un buffet plein, dommage…
