Reviewed Sep 8, 2026A very nice hotel with well-equipped rooms (wardrobes!), located very close to the Aura river and right next to the biggest city square. Lovely staff and good breakfast!
Location is its great asset but also might be a slight inconvenience to some, as one of the two main entrances goes straight to the busy central square with many busses and joyful people in the night time. Also, we had better breakfast in other Scandic hotels in Finland.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026We had our stay on our wedding weekend. We let the receptionists know many times that we were staying due to the wedding, starting from the booking at the hotel. Still we didn't get any special treatment or even acknowledgement. We didn't expect anything special but it's a shame that such a special occasion was not acknowledged by even a simple congratulation or anything.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We spent 4 nights here as a family, and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel's location is unbeatable—right in the center of Turku at Market Square (Kauppatori). It served as an incredible transport hub for our trip. We were able to catch direct buses right outside the hotel to Naantali (where Moomin World is located), Turku Castle (Turun linna), and Veritas Stadium. Getting to the main bus and train stations was just as seamless. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was top-notch with a huge spread—there was everything you could possibly want, and the whole family loved it. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this hotel for a family trip!

Mieleeni tuli, että miksi useimmat ovat sisustukseltaan tummia ja hämäriä? Jo sisääntulosta lähtien! Aamiainen tosi tavanomainen, ihan ok. Siistinä ihmisenä jäi ihmetyttämään tarjoilijan toiminta. Kerätessään astioita pöydältä, aterimet putosivat maahan. Eihän siinä mitään, mutta kaikki pudonneet raejuustot jäivät lattialle.

I was a bit nervous about the off-site parking at first; but it turned out to be a breeze. So, really nothing not to like.

Kahvi oli aavistuksen laimeaa. Ostin receptionista proteiinirahkan, mutta huoneesta ei löytynyt lusikkaa sen syömiseen, vain sekoitustikkuja.
