Saisawan Beach Resort

Middle of nowhere. Walk along 2 long lanes filled with dogs. No beach access. Have to walk along a field. Hotel is catered for 3 coach loads of Chinese tourists who turnup each night. Take over & completely take over breakfast. Staff at nic although there is no atmosphere or vibe rooms are ok & sea view is side sea view so don’t pay extra as they are all side seaview

Great hotel very clean & comfortable beds. Lovely staff & very helpful. Breakfast was ok not much selection for uk visitors.

Not worth the price. I think this 4 star is more like a 2 star. Pictures lies, maybe from when new and nice? There is not a nice place to go the beach. The beach is full of trash with fishing around. (Smell) Need a car, if not there is big distance to everything.

All around a good hotel.

เพื่อนแนะนำให้ค่ะพอดีมีธุระที่พัทยากะทันหันก็เลยรบกวนเพื่อนให้ดูโรงแรมให้ ไม่ผิดหวังค่ะเงียบสงบมากแต่โรงแรมจะอยู่ในซอยหน่อยแต่ก็ยังดีค่ะมีรถรับส่งจากทางโรงแรมออกมาส่งที่ปากซอยจองห้องเดียวเหมือนเหมาทั้งโรงแรมเลยค่ะมีความเงียบสงบ ตอนเช้าทัวร์จีนออกไปข้างนอกหมดอาจจะเสียงดังหน่อยในตอนเช้าช่วงประมาณ 7.00 นหลังจาก 8:00 นก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรแล้วค่ะชื่นชมพนักงานเริ่มตั้งแต่ bellboy มีความกระตือรือร้นโบกรถ พนักงานให้คำแนะนำดีมากเลยค่ะ ถามอะไรตอบได้หมด โดยรวมถือว่าประทับใจนะคะไว้โอกาสหน้าจะมาพักอีกแน่นอนค่ะ

เหมาะแก่การพักผ่อน เงียบสงบ ตอนเช้าแนะนำมาช่วง 8 โมงขึ้น เพราะตอนเช้ามีทัวร์จีน อาหารทางพนักงานเสริ์ฟให้ใหม่ถือว่าโอเครเลยค่ะ พนักงานแนะนำดีค่ะ

On the ad says free Wi-Fi but it’s only in lobby‘s not in the room. They only give you two small bottle water a day. Breakfast room there’s so many fly all over the food. This hotel located sore four from Main Road so it’s very inconvenient to go town

Saisawan Beach Resort is an ok place for a day or two...if you have your own transportation. It is quite far from anything other than a couple of restaurants. The rooms are an ok size and comfortable. The staff is cheerful and helpful. The "beach" a small strip between a breakwater and an outwash from a nearby fishing village, and is not usable in any recreational sense. It is filthy. The buffet breakfast is adequate in that you can get filled up. They cater to the target clientele, though, which appears to be tour buses from a neighboring country, so don't expect the presentation you would find for a place catering to Thai or Western tastes. We were there 2 nights on a 3-day Thai holiday weekend. It's an ok place to rest your head so long as the tour groups aren't making loads of noise in the hallways at night...as was the case both nights for us. We want to emphasize that the staff were very kind and helpful, which is somewhat surprising to us after seeing an upper management level person screaming at the front desk personnel, in front of guests, as we headed into the restaurant for our Sunday breakfast. He was furious because they screwed something up, but I don't think I've ever witnessed a manager losing it like this in public before. Then, when we checked out, they asked us where the 2 empties were from the complimentary water. I'm not kidding. They bothered us for return of the 2 glass water bottles from the room. They were in my cooler. I gave them back full. Weird.

Locating the resort was quite a challenge for our can driver as it was outside Jomtien despite what it says in the address. We were finally able to see the signs in the inner roads. Checking in was quick and the manager offered us free room upgrades for the 2 rooms we booked. We stayed in building 1 at the 6th floor. The first room given to us 1615 was so stinky that it gave my family members headache. When I complained at the reception, they were able to transfer the us to another room which was fine. Food choices in the hotel is quite limited and as expected a bit pricey. We explored the nearby fisherman restaurant and were able to enjoy authentic Thai food at an affordable price. Breakfast in the hotel was so-so as the food choices are very limited too. Checking out was were we had a terrible service experience. We requested for a taxi an hour before departure but we were given a private car with no markings nor driver ID. I explicitly asked reception that I need to pickup another luggage I left in the airport hotel. Looks like that wasn't communicated well as the driver asked for more and more money despite showing how close it is at BKK. The reception staff started calling for legal taxi companies. I told them that putting clients in illegal non-marked cab reflects their hotel. Come to this hotel if you want to relax and feel the sea breeze. The language barrier and the terrible service will make us think again from coming back.
