The room and the bathroom were large and clean, the staff really helpful, the breakfast abundant. Location not bad

There were too few western options in the breakfast buffet. The restaurant closes at 9 pm. I know it’s a Chinese tradition, but many restaurants in the Ancient city close at 10 pm., even later. Maybe is time to modernize!

早餐普通，但50元人民幣的價格，好像也還好，不能要求太多。 洗手台、馬桶、淋浴+浴缸，全部在同一間，沒有分隔。以家庭房來說，不太方便。

外観はヒルトンらしくなくアパーメントみたいでしたが、室内は広くて設備が整った高級ホテルでした。 フロントの従業員は親切です。場所は古城から少し離れていますが、タクシーを使うと便利です。

部屋にはベランダがないので少し閉塞感があります。 ツアーを申し込むのに、スタッフがいないため対面ではなく微信でやり取りをしてくれと言われた。その時たまたまいなかっただけかもしれませんが。

We spent one night before flying out of China. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite our language barrier. They also arranged transportation to the airport. Breakfast offered American as well as Chinese options.

As Hilton Diamond member, my room was pre arrival upgraded to the 2nd highest room category. I was greeted by the smile from Ms Caroline which can communicate in English. Check in was quick and efficient. Room is super huge for HGI standard and it is sparkling clean. This property is just short didi ride( 2km) to lijiang oldtown. Just cross the road there is minimarket and wet market where you can buy cheaper fruits and vegetable. Thank you HGI lijiang for hosting me. Definitely I ll revisit you again soon. Those hilton members planning to visit lijiang, I would highly recommended to pick HGI lijiang as your exploration base.

Staying at this hotel now, my room is facing the am direct sunlight and the hotel after around 11am will weaken or off the Aircon , called the reception they say open the window for cool air but outside there no cool air , send a portable fan but still warm. Ask them if I can change the other facing , the reception say it’s facing afternoon sunlight . So take note if you can’t stand hot and sweaty .

Don't ever use this platform to book a hotel in China. They charge you extra tax fees at the counter, beyond what you booked online, even though you have already paid the taxes.

Excellent! 10 minutes walk to old town gate and property is well cared for and staff attentive. We had a room with a mountain view but decided to switch to a room with two beds also because the view was not very impressive. Had breakfast and a dinner, not bad at all.

Convenient location. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, but. It was listed as soundproofed rooms, which was really not the case, I could hear everything from left right above and below. Maybe it was just my room but it interrupted the work I had to do while I was there. Just one tiny thing I think they can improve, don't put the butter on a bed of ice, it makes it rock hard, I dont see the logic in doing this. Everything else is great, especially for the price.

A very good hotel. The reception staff at the front desk responded quickly and deserve praise. It is still a trustworthy brand hotel when traveling.

The lift has this smell cumulated over time. Just cant get over it

Hilton Garden Inn Lijiang is located 1.4 km from Dayan Ancient Town North entrance where the water wheel is located. Taxi fare from the taxi station near the North entrance back to hotel was about 12 yuan. Bus stop for Bus 8A which terminates at Lijiang Bus Station is 220 m from hotel (After exiting hotel, turn right) Although the hotel is by Shangrila Avenue, it was quiet. We were on the 9th floor and during the night we opened the window to let in cool air, we did not hear any noise (In winter, the air-conditioner was on heater mode) Room was clean, a kettle and teabags and coffee sachet was provided. Buffet breakfast has wide varieties. Fried rice, fried noodles, stir fried vegetables, baked bean, porridge, soup noodles, bread, pastry, bun, cakes, steamed corn and sweet potatoes, tea, coffee machine, juice, fruits (cut and whole), cereal, yogurt, etc Staff friendly and helpful. Eateries are plentiful along Jingxing street perpendicular to Shangrila Avenue, 350 m N from hotel (The entrance arch on the right marks the beginning of the street).

Room was spacious. Breakfast was generous

Location was a little out of the historic centre. And it was not a non smoking hotel which wasn’t clear when we booked. Taxi’s (Didi) couldn’t find the car park

The hotel is excellent, there are very nice and helpful staffs, they answer questions that we have and give great suggestions which beyond their responses. Hotel is very clean, it’s walkable to Lijiang old town, breakfast is pretty good, we are very happy to stay there

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lijiang was marvellous. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff provided exceptional service. Ms. Lucy Zi from the front desk staff was extremely friendly, helpful, patient and professional. She helped us booking a transfer to the airport and made sure we could extend our check-out to the departure time of our transfer. Ms. Lucy made us feel like highly valued guests and this is what great service is all about.

This hotel was in new city center. Take a bus to train station and ancient town was convenient. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very great with a lot of local cuisines. parking was free. Staffs were helpful.

Stayed 2 nights / 2 rooms with family during mid of lunar new year. During check in one of the customers checking in was smoking and the staffs did not intervene. My room faced a small lane with eateries and it was very noisy with people chatting and smoking till wee hours. As the heater was too warmer we had no choice but to open our small window but the smoke gets in our room. My wife and I struggled and our sleep quality was bad. Our kids room on the opposite side faced a car park and it was much better so my advise to fellow travellers is to ask for room away from the lane. We did however enjoy our dining at the restaurant. The breakfast was a good spread. As it was CNY we had both our dinner there and enjoyed the food. Overall the staffs were friendly I feedback the issue to the service desk at check out and they promptly presented 2 small gifts as apologies. We appreciated the gesture.

Very friendly and kind staff. Quite accommodating. I wish they had a concierge since we speak limited Chinese and wanted a bit more information on local sites. The staff there tried their best and we appreciated them, but could have used a bit more help planning some trips.

Great experience at this hotel thanks to Vincent, many times he went out of his way to help me and my wife have a great 3 nights! Everything was excellent here, including the great breakfast! Rooms were very comfortble,also have a great fitness room.

A decent sized room that was perfect for my one night stay over before heading to Tiger Leaping Gorge. They also allowed me to leave my suitcase there while I visited the gorge, which made the whole hiking experience less painful. Breakfast was a little Chinese in style but was generally decent.

We booked a King room at this hotel, and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a Family Suite. Possibly this was due to the large tour groups that were checking in at the same time. For foreign travelers during the pandemic, there are a lot of steps before you can get to your room, including signing a bunch of paperwork, plus the other,now normal stuff. Our room was super spacious, very clean, had a comfy bed and great amenities.The only con was that the air conditioner worked only the first night, and then didn't work the rest of our stay. Despite multiple requests from my husband, they never fixed it, and it was very warm in our room. Their reasoning was that they had turned it off for disinfecting (and that it would be back in in 15 minutes). Later, when that was not the case, they asked us if we wanted to change rooms, which we did not at that point. They eventually gave us a portable fan, which was okay, but certainly not ideal. The room had a Nespresso pod machine, and the staff would happily refill the pods daily. My husband likes his coffee with milk, and the staff were very gracious to accommodate this request with warm milk each evening we were there. The staff were really the best part of our stay at the Hilton. They were extremely kind, and the small touches, like leaving us personal notes about hoping that we liked the cleaning of the room each day, and warming our food upon request were what made our stay really special. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we are ever in Lijiang again. Hoping they will have fixed the air conditioning by then! Cheers

The Hilton Garden Inn is located about 15 mins walk from Dayan Old Town and this hotel is great value for money. Front desk staff were excellent throughout the stay even helping us with the taxi to the airport. They were just delightful. Rooms were good, new and clean. Breakfasts were a mix of Chinese and European and were very tasty! This was just a very positive stay.. The hotel is outstanding value for money too.

Lovely hotel with good breakfast. Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our 2-night stay a part of a 3 weeks' tour of China. It had everything we needed and more. Shame about the weather but the couldn't be helped!

My sister and I spent close to a month traveling by ourselves in August in Yunnan and Lijiang was our last stop in Yunnan. We checked online and talked to the staff at Hilton Garden Inn Lijiang. The staff left us such good feeling about this hotel that we decided to book our stay here. And we made to right decision. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: from the room, the staff, the services, the facilities to the breakfast. We liked them all! We are particularly impressed and grateful for the accommodation that the hotel made for us. We will definitely stay at this hotel again ourselves and recommend it to our friends!

The Lijiang Hilton Gardens was a very pleasant stay. I booked the hotel through ctrip which came with some unexpected surprises. For one ctrip took payment for the room for guarantee money but then when we arrived at the hotel, Hilton also took payment as well. So I was paying double because ctrip doesn't release the money immediately. They require about 10 days. So to date, I still haven't gotten my funds returned to my card. So just a warning if you choose to pay for the hotel through ctrip at the hotel for security reasons you will be paying double until the funds are released. This doesn't happen if you book directly with Hilton off their website I don't think. Anyway, the room and bathroom were clean, no funky mold, the water was hot and the toilet flushed as it should. We stayed in room 630. The staff does speak some english but is labored however they will bend over backwards for you should you need anything. They will call you a taxi if needed and guessing they contract with known drivers. We came in on the train from Kunming and it was about 27 RMB from the hotel back to the train. The breakfast buffet is Chinese centric and well stocked but not overboard. They also have an expresso/cappuccino machine which will help you get your cup of joe fix in the morning. I liked the hotel enough I would stay here again but ctrip we are done. Also to mention the hotel does coordinate trips to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as well should you want to see it. It is very stunning but we were getting drenched in rain so a lot of the beauty was obscured by fog. The old town is within walking distance but it can be a long walk especially if you get lost like we did. The old town can be confusing so keep a map handy and maintain your reference.

First of all, the front desk staff was outstanding! Evelyn has amazing English, and the entire front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a mountain tour and even prepared breakfast boxes for us as we left very early in the morning. Second, the location is excellent. The walk to old town is very easy and interesting. Third, the restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Perhaps the best poached egg I have ever had. The only down side is that some of the rooms smell of cigarette smoke. This may be residual from before the property was a Hilton garden. It is hard to find smoke-free rooms in China. Overall this is a great place to stay when visiting beautiful LiJiang. Excellent place especially if you don’t speak Chinese.

This is a small hotel. It is very cozy and friendly. There is a table at the lobby where the staff serve freshly brewed Chinese tea. It is a good experience for someone who do not know how Chinese tea is prepared in tiny cups. As we were in a group, check-in was well arranged and stress free. The room is nice and modern. I love the firm mattress which provided us will good sleep. Go explore the sides and back of the hotel. Many small shops and local eateries. The breakfast spread is not large but definitely sufficient. I like the yogurt dispensed out from a machine. Tasted good. Also, must try the soya bean milk dispensed out of a machine. Tasted very nice with a full flavor.

Service was warm. Rooms are decent; got upgrade to family room which is a good suite standard. Located in city center; convenient to go around by cab or didi. Clean and trustful services. Having stayed in different hiltons in Europe; this one is good and better than some others in Europe.

Amazing - from comfort to food to service et all ; staff was particularly amazing and went out of the way to help; was provided an upgrade on arrival; the car drivers were however not up to the mark. Mr Vince, Mr Phoenix (the Chef), the Travel Guy and the Lady and the Guy at the Bar need special mentioning ; all of them made us feel highly privileged,

I've been stayed in this hotel for more than ten times. The location is very convenient and parking lot is quite big compare with other hotels nearby the ancient town of Lijiang. The room is not big but very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is the only one in the town you can try Cantonese style night tea dim sum.

The hotel isn't fancy, but the staff is great and the noodle bar rocks. The lady that runs the noodle bar appears to a minority and she is so sweet. The noodles themselves are fabulous. The hotel is clean and in a great location, near many massage studios.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a good sleep there. The room decoration with the Yunan style wallpaper was nice. The breakfast and lobby were average. The location was near the Lijiang Ancient Town.

Close but not too close to the commotion of old town. Well built with attractive decor with a contemporary take on tribal art. Outstanding restaurant with something for every taste. Reception staff was very helpful and housekeeping was excellent.

I was suprised when they told me they did not have a bell boy. They told me they are not same like Hilton. They are lower class. Loby area smell like sewer Upper floor hallways smell cigaret. Hard to breath. This kind of hotel I could get it for 30 dollars a night.

I asked them about the nearest Starbucks... I told them that I saw one near Ren Min Hospital.. but they kept saying no.. After all, they wrote address in Chinese for different location which was extra 20 mins away. The hotel is intended for business travel personals, not for tourists. Most of staff do not speak English at all, and says very rude things not knowing that I understand enough Chinese... I will not recommend here for any tourist. They do not even help you to get taxi... They will tell you go to street and find it yourself..

Location of hotel is quite good as it is not far from the Old Town - short taxi tide will take you there. Bed is comfortable. I was a bit disappointed with the 'mountain view' as it was mostly obstructed by roofs. Good value for money

I stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was over a weekend and I could go to visit places such as Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the old city of Lijiang. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, helping with practical things like getting a taxi and so on. In particular, one of the managers was very helpful and efficient in sending on to me by express mail some computer accessories that I had inadvertently left in the room. One of the cleaning ladies also impressed me by explaining various tips about the local climate - such as needing sun protection because of the altitude and also being aware of the changing weather so that an umbrella would be useful. All in all, the whole experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lijiang was an enjoyable and memorable time. I am very likely to choose this hotel again in the future.

Great hotel in Lijiang. Staff were very corteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean and hotel facilities were very new, Great variety of food including western style of salad and burger. Conveniently located next to the old town and black dragon pool which I dwfinitely recommwnd you visit.

The hotel is new and in excellent clean condition--the room was large and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful at the front desk. The hotel is about 5min away from the 'old town' by taking a taxi/cab. Also, very close to the 'Lijiang airport bus' station. Breakfast was good with lots of western food varieties. Internet was very reliable and fast. Many English speaking TV channels. Overall, a superb hotel and I highly recommend staying here.
