Lijiang Yue Tu Inn

We had a great stay in Lijiang! The owner was very friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. We also really appreciated the thoughtful snacks. Excellent service and highly recommended!

Il s’agit davantage d’une petite pension de famille que d’un hôtel classique, idéalement située au cœur de la vieille ville. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La chambre était très agréable, spacieuse et confortable. Le lit rond est certes un peu particulier et pas toujours très pratique quand on est grand , mais cela reste un détail au regard de la qualité de la chambre.

Les petits-déjeuners sont assez monotones et gagneraient à être un peu plus variés mais c'est souvent le cas en Chine. Cela n'est qu'un détail.

La struttura era in un’ottima posizione. Il personale molto gentile e accogliente. Dovevamo soggiornare soltanto 2 notti e avendo avuto un problema ad un occhio che ha richiesto l’intervento di un medico al vicino pronto soccorso, abbiamo deciso di prolungare di ulteriori 2 notti.

Migliorabile la pulizia anche nelle zone meno visibili e variegare un podi più la colazione se si rimane per più notti.

Se trata de una casa familiar típica, cómoda y acogedora. La atención por parte del dueño fue excelente y nos ofreció un desayuno muy completo cada mañana. También nos ayudó con la organización de nuestro viaje. La habitación era cómoda y contó con todos los servicios anunciados. Una estupenda base para visitar Lijiang sus alrededores!

Velmi ochotný majitel, skvělá lokalita, pohodlné zařízení, velmi autentické. Ocenili jsme možnost změnit složení snídaně, tradiční čínská nám nevyhovovala, ale majitel to ihned zařídil a od druhého dne jsme měli snídani, která nám zcela vyhovovala.

Anfitrión muy entregado para que llegues sin problema al alojamiento, ya que está en una de las estradas del Old Town y no hay acceso directo en coche a la puerta del alojamiento, pero está a 3 minutos andando. Muy buena ubicación ya que está dentro del old town, pero al lado de una de las entradas por lo que no tienes que ir con las maletas cargando 15 minutos...

Lo único que no me gustó fue el desayuno, que no suele ser del gusto de extranjeros occidentales.

I liked the location on the edge of the old town They gave me some help and allowed me to store my bag after checkout whilst I hiked the Tiger leaping gorge. The room was great with a walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable

Camera molto carina, letto comodissimo, posizione perfetta, a pochi passi dall'ingresso della città vecchia. Per raggiungere l'hotel c'è una scalinata, ma il proprietario ci ha aiutato nel trasposto delle valigie. Parlano perfettamente inglese e di conseguenza è stato facile comunicare e farci dare indicazioni su cosa fare.

Colazione solo cinese di conseguenza non adatta alle nostre abitudini. Pulizia un po' scadente.

Struttura bella, ben gestita da un personale davvero gentilissimo e disponibile. Ci hanno fatto anche una cerimonia del tè davvero interessante e piacevole con un tè buonissimo. Il gestore è stato disponibilissimo ancor prima che arrivassimo in struttura. Camera di dimensioni normali, ma comunque confortevole. Posizione all'interno della città vecchia ma vicina alla strada e facilmente raggiungibile.

La posizione, seppur nella città vecchia, può risultare scomoda per alcuni. Per raggiungere il centro della città vecchia bisogna camminare in salita e poi in discesa. Alternativa è passare fuori la città vecchia, pianeggiante ma meno caratteristica.

This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!

At the border of the old town so you only need to carry your luggage for a bit to the hotel but still able to access the old town easily. Rooms are comfy, clean and warm at night despite it being an older inn. Owner was very very helpful and offered to carry our luggage up and guide us in on our first day.

The host truly stood out; they were so friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my visit, offering assistance whenever needed. The complimentary airport pickup was a huge bonus, making arrival seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Nice location and quiet as well.

Staff is very nice and helpful, the room is roomy for 3 to 4 peoples. I can walk easily to all area with no problem. I only thinks I found is if you stay during winter or cool season heating is very weak .

The whole place is so pretty. The decoration is fantastic. Walkable to old town.

It just, quite difficult for me to find the hostel at first. We were using Apple maps and luckily there were 1 couple helped us to find the place and the wife help us to call the receiption and he came to fetch us from there.

I am truly impressed by the welcome given by the owner. He even gave a city map with places to visit and locations nearby for sightseeing. There was free tea and fruits as well as complimentary breakfast with vegetarian options which was super impressive. The location is very close to Ancient City Market. I would definitely recommend the place.

Located within walking distance to Lijiang Old Town. Have to climb steep steps to the hotel. Luckily the hotel is about 50 metres from the bottom of the steps and next to the main road. Mr Yang Lei is a great host. A helpful person who speak good English. He came looking for us and carried our luggage up to the hotel. He helped us to plan and organise our day trip to JDSM and TLG. He arranged for breakfast-to-go during our trip to TLG. He even lent us his spare handphone with the wechat app for us to communicate with our driver when we visited JDSM. Would definitely stay in Lijiang Yue Tu Inn again. Thank you Mr Yang Lei.

We like the very helpful staff and the nice location with a great view of Snow Mountain from our room. For example: We asked the staff for a car to Tiger Leaping Gorge. And they give us a very comfortable Tesla with a glass roof and very skilled driver.

The environment is super duper best. Really enjoyed stayed here with good hospitality provided by all staff. The best things is that they can understand English and this make everything just a finger tips. The counter also can arranged for a sight seeing and tourist guide. Location of accommodation also very strategic with public transport. The touch of building and an architecture is amazing.

The location is excellent. It is located in front of the old town where you can walk around. There is two or three restaurants near by the hotel. If you want to go to the Jade dragon snow mountain, this is the best location where the tour can pick up. The staff is the best. He can communicate in english very well. The staff is really help in everything. I come to the hotel in the late night and ask for the car to pick up. He arrange the car to pick up at the station and always on the chat to help. All in all, everything is excellent.

The location is very close to the Lijiang Old Town. The owner is supper support and helpful. He speaks English so well. The Inn is so cozy and beautiful. I love my stay here.

As it is located in an old town, and understandably due to no proper sewage system, toilet paper is unable to be flushed, which is slightly inconvenient. Some improvements can be made, for example providing an additional/external water spraying system.

My room situated on the second floor can see the Jade Dragon mountain in glory! Room was spacious, clean and had a bath tub. Bed and pillows were soft, and comfortable. There are free Fresh Floral Pastries (鲜花饼) in the lobby for you to enjoy. Hotel is very near an excellent pork rib restaurant (阿婆腊排骨火锅). You must go and try!

Absence of tea/coffee in the room. Humidifier doesn't work (leaks water). WiFi doesn't work in communal areas. Breakfast is very simple. Hotel is situated up on a hill. Be prepared to climb about 40m where the taxi drops you off. But the hotel staff was helpful to carry your luggage, if you contact him when you arrive.

Although the property is not accessible by car, it is only a few minutes walk from the road to the alley. The entrance to Lijiang Old Town is within walking distance with many restaurants along the way. Otherwise it is possible to walk up the hill to Shizishan view point and down to Square Market. Yue Tu Inn is run by a family that is very friendly and helpful. On a clear day, the Jade Dragon Snow mountain could be seen from the bedroom.

We especially appreciated the warm hospitality offered by hotel owner and his family and staff. He is the only tourism professional we met so far who speaks English fluently and willingly helped us for every practical need. Our room was very nice and bright, tastefully decorated. We actually got a free upgrade upon arrival. Rooms are situated around a nice and quite courtyard with a lot of beautiful flowers. A washing-machine was at our disposal free of charge. A delicious traditional breakfast was served daily. Hotel location is just great, at the edge of the old town. We were able to go everywhere by foot.

You are required to take steep steps to reach the inn

The location was at the base of the ancient town area of Lijiang as well as close to the main road of the city. It has the style of a rustic inn. There was a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains standing on the doorway to the rooms. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

If you are travelling with elderly people, it’s not ideal to live in the inns within the ancient city. Yue Tu Inn was near enough to main road but you still needed to walk up a steep and sometimes slippery flight of cobbled steps. If you’re young and fit though, you would find the location quite quaint!

We loved the location of the property on the edge of the old town. The view from our balcony was incredible looking towards the snow mountain. The staff were extremely welcoming, we would definitely recommend.

I stayed there 5 nights and it was beautiful. The location was perfect, not far from the center of old town and just near the road where you can take taxi or bus to railway station or bus station. The hosts were very friendly, always offered us tea, fruits and local flower cakes for free. They even made a laundry and gave a transfer to airport for free. They helped us to navigate in the city and also to book some trips.

Accept foreigners - owners are super nice, always willing to help and very friendly. Breakfast and tea provided is great as well. The place is easy to find and access, not far from all interesting places in old town while remain really quiet. The rooms are all differently designed with a great taste. Clean and comfortable, bed was big and I had a great sleep. I will definitely go again next time I come in this city !
