Being a smaller hotel it was lovely and Quite

The Bed was really hard because we were there for 3 weeks we went and brought a mattress Topper and speaking to other people staying at the hotel they said the same thing that the beds were horrible and hard

Trotz zentraler Lage etwas weiter in einer Gasse liegend. Jedoch dadurch auch leiser als sonstige Hotels. Pool war ausreichend groß, jedoch zu tief für Kinder. Es war nur ein kleiner Bereich für Kinder welcher 50-60cm hoch ist.

The long driveway may present some perception issues with security and appearance of stray dogs, all are friendly and really should not be a concern. The closest Beach is Padma Beach not Double Six.

Room was a good size for the cost, comfy bed, and bathroom was clean enough, not perfect but ok for me. Ceiling fan was a bit noisy, but get over it. Quite location and room.

Down a long alley way with some puddles, might put some people off, but really wasn't much or an issue really. I looked at some other hotels nearby and rooms were smaller or the cost was much higher.

Many of the staff seem new and poorly trained. The property is not well maintained. The shower base was slimy, bathroom dirty and constant Sewerage smell in the room from bathroom drain.

Staff were amazing and accomodating. The bed was super comfortable. Loved my shower, hot with great pressure. The meals I ordered were of a high standard. Value for money resort.

I found there were no comfortable chairs in the whole resort. I would recommend more seating around the pool area. Something you can sit upright in, sun longer, dining and room chair all had slanting backs. Bean chairs in groups around the pool would be a cheap way to accommodate more people. Also the pool is a bit difficult to get out of if you are not young and nimble it needs another step which would make entering and exiting safer.

We have stayed here many times and have always been extremely happy with it but this will be the last. I booked a pool access room and on check in it the main glass doors went straight out to the restaurant:( The guy at the reception was quite rude and moved us to the next room which to be honest not exactly pool access. I also watched 3 different people checking out and they had tried to sting them for marks on the sheets. They held the linen out in the the reception area and went over them with a fine tooth comb !!! One happen to have been my daughter who had alittle one with her. She actually grabbed some water and got out the tiny mark otherwise it would have cost her $$$$. Just please be aware of this when booking and go over your linen and maybe take some photos.

*Not the accommodations fault. The location wasn't too bad, it was the side street that we had a problem with. At night, there were dogs that would come out and bark at you and sound very aggressive. This happened a few times, which scared us quite a bit.

The people and facilities were very good. The one thing that I would give the lowest score would be they fumigated the property without giving us notice. We thought the building was on fire. We couldn't see more than a foot or two in front of us as we went down the stairs. I am vulnerable to pesticides and was very ill for two days. The only thing they offered was a late check-out at no charge. I thought they should have ordered something more for the illness they caused.

For the price you pay, this is a great option to stay in Legian. Good location, friendly staff, rooms are comfortable.

Nothing major but a few details would definitely improve the place: the balcony is nice but it has no chairs for you to sit and enjoy. A rack to hang wet clothes would be greatly appreciated too.

It was quiet,but close to everything, enjoyed there being a lift, breakfast was amazing,pool was great but could do with more steps in and handrail for mature age people and a few Xtra sunbeds otherwise lovely would stay again

Everything. We reached out to you, Booking.com the following morning and checked out to another Hotel. Haven’t had any emails back requests for our money back other than the first night we stayed. So disappointing in Booking.com.

I absolutely loved my stay at Bali Chaya Hotel, so much I almost don't want to do a review so I can keep it a secret. What a fabulous find. There were a few reviews that commented on the long lane to get to it that made them feel uncomfortable, I did not see the problem. Gorgeous family live down there who would greet you most days and a number of other villas on the lane so enough people coming and going to make me feel very comfortable even coming in late at night. I loved that it was set back off the road made it lovely and peaceful. Also a smaller hotel so not loads of families staying which meant it was very peaceful. The pool is partially shaded but never cold with a few sun lounges getting sun most of the day. It was very clean and well maintained. Rooms are a little dated well mainly the bathrooms but they are clean and mould free which is the main thing. Bed is big and very clean and comfortable with great pillows that feel new. I was on level 1 and slept very well. Staff are lovely, friendly and attentive and are on 24hrs. Honestly I personally can't fault it and I am an ex house keeper so pretty fussy.

Liked it all. Perhaps not a huge fan of the breakfast I had but that was on me should have gone the Nasi Goreng instead of cereal and toast what was I thinking :) lol Although definitely do not order a cup of tea. Just a tip for the hotel maybe invest in some tea pots? Or at least leave the bag in the cup of hot water as it was very weak tea once I added milk but again possible should have not ordered tea in Bali lol.

The idea of "service" is non existant. No we cannot do that or this. Staff just not interested. Down a long dirty lane, about 500m from the street. Walls made of cardboard and spit. You can here the farts from next door. Old run down hotel. Never again.

The cosy, clean feeling of the hotel and how peaceful it was. Unfortunately i had my drink spiked on my last night in Bali but the staff were so accommodating and caring by letting me have the room and extra 2 nights, bringing clean linen and even bringing me some ginger tea after hearing what happened to me.

The long walk down a laneway in the dark from the main street was an unexpected one. It was dark at night and when it rained you had to walk through muddy puddles. The beds were very hard didn’t sleep the best but that couldnt be helped.

Nice budget hotel. Our room was clean and seemed larger than our neighbouring family who were staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good, and the location was perfect. Staff were very helpful.

It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but we certainly got what we paid for. The accommodation was central, comfortable, enjoyable and pleasant to stay at. It is a little outdated, but for the price I could not complain about anything at all! Food was so well priced, the pool was amazing. Staff were friendly, but communication was hard sometimes. We would definitely stay here again if we were travelling on a budget again.

We were only given two pillows for the bed and when we asked twice for more, they did not come. Hotel needs a little maintenance, but it's Bali that's how everything is!

Lovely staff, good calm location. The building is old which shows in the rooms as well but everything was super clean and we were taken good care of. Good price-quality ratio!

The staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave a suitcase with them while we travelled. We came back for our last night. We were also able to checkout an hour later than usual.

The location. It was down the end of a long gang, which is fine but there was a lot of mess just next door while construction was going on.
