Phangan Utopia Resort

Very peaceful, time to relax, good breakfast, bed very comfortable and the view amazing!! At the reception, Dar helped us a lot with everything, she always had a solution for us, we are very thankful. Everything was amazing until the check out: the guy with glasses at the reception who is in the morning, was very rude for free.. he shouldn’t work with people. Be careful with him.

I stayed at this truly wonderful resort for a month and I hope to return. I learned of Utopia from a friend who has been visiting the magical island of Koh Phangan for 15 years. A seasoned traveler, my friend has lived in numerous places around the island and has settled on Utopia as being the best. I was grateful for her recommendation and was unsurprised to find myself in complete agreement. From even before I arrived I began to experience helpfulness and consideration of the owner and manager of this superb resort. She was genuinely accommodating as my plans to arrive went through a few changes. Because I was staying for such an extended period and was booking with very little notice, the owner worked out a plan for me to move three times during my stay. This enabled me to experience the different varieties of rooms available. I truly enjoyed my time in each of the rooms, but the sea view rooms are simply spectacular. The staff of this resort are superb, managing to blend professionalism, warmth, courtesy, and consideration in a seemingly effortless way. From the moment I arrived at the pier, where I was met by Raymond, I began to experience the helpful and friendly support of the resort’s superb staff. Phangan can present some challenges to the first time visitor. At every juncture Raymond & Dar, the two key staff members at reception, stepped in to help in help in the most thoughtful and natural fashion. Both Raymond & Dar were also great guides to the many beautiful features of the island. Truly all of staff at Utopia — the housekeepers, restaurant workers, and groundskeepers — are first rate and each does their part to make it the warm, welcoming, beautiful place that it is. I want to single out Raymond and Dar, though, for truly helping to make my stay at Utopia the joy that it was. I very much look forward to seeing them again when I have the good fortune to return.

There must have been a time when this resort was OUTSTANDING. On the very positive side: the view is breathtaking, simply SUPERB (from the hotel and also its adjacent restaurant on top of the hill, esp. for sunset). It is hard to get tired of such beauty! The path to the restaurant is steep and rough, but the "trek" to get there is worth it, stunning view and excellent food! The location is peaceful. The few staff members we met were very welcoming and friendly (we were actually a little bit surprised to see so few of them; only 3 during our 3-day stay). On these dimensions, it is still a 10/10. On the negative side : the property needs urgent maintenance / renovation. The pictures on the booking site were clearly over promising as far as the room we were given was concerned. Our superior room with sea view was worn-out (surfaces, table, door handles, curtains, wash basin felt very old, they were sometimes broken). The bathroom was not particularly inviting. We had a very bad smell coming from somewhere in the evening (a sewage issue?). The room was serviced everyday but soap and shampoo were not renewed, towels were not changed until we asked on our last day - this would not have been a problem if not for the heat, humidity and time spent at the swimming pool that made us use the shower at least twice a day. The soft and hard chairs at the swimming pool were "really tired"; no towels were provided. Breakfast was rather basic compared to other similarly priced hotels where we stayed on the island. All in all, we were disappointed; Phangan Utopia Resort was our third hotel on Koh Phangan during our long stay on the island; it did not compare well against the other 2 which claimed the same number of stars. This place could be an absolute gem, I truly hope it will be able to become one.

What an incredible place! Stunningly beautiful. We had a room overlooking the hills not the sea which was initially disappointing but had the most incredible sunset view. The restaurant closes at 8 which we did not know and just got in time, luckily as there is no where in walking distance. My partner has travelled Asia extensively and says best green curry ever! On checking in ( around 2.15) told that the room was not ready until 3 which meant hanging around. We discussed a later check out the following day to recoup the hour which was agreed. On check out we where met with sarcasm by the man on reception and it was made difficult to get a taxi or transfer a we had ‘checked out late’?? This did mar my experience as I was faced with an intimidating passive aggressive member of staff.

I had a great time here, unfortunately it was full so I only had one night.

Beautiful views and peaceful to relax

The resort was nice, the people were amazing and very kind. They organize almost everything for us including day trip to ang thong preparing our breakfast in advance. They also have scooter to rent and you can pay everything with the card to the hotel. The pool was super ok and the restaurant serves good dished (ask for no-spicy). 15 min from mama market (amazing for dinner)

The location is amazing. Some of the hotel equiptments are quite old.

Just finishing another lovely week at the Utopia. As ever, the staff are brilliant and the prices including breakfast are very reasonable. Raymond on the desk is ever present, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is fast, cheap and of a good standard.

Staff super helpful and friendly. This property is a little far from the city therefore need to take taxis. They do offer free shuttle service to 3 nearby beach and pick up. Limited to 2 restaurants on the property as everything outside property is far. Located in the mountains with breathtaking view but lots of mosquitoes when seated outside at night. Kind hotel staff that offers bugs spray complementary. This property has excellent wifi and offers a shared workspace with offices.

Amazing place with great view. The staff is just the best I’ve ever seen, we became great friends. The room was very nice and clean, Wi-Fi router was present inside the room, the speed was great too. Utopia on Phangan is strait up legendary, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you ask every question to the staff, they will help you with any problem, I’ve never seen such dedication. One of the best places to get familiar with the island, as it’s quite and has everything you need.

Liked : The view is breathtaking. There is just no match to this. One can sit for hours at the terrace to cherish the view. Very peaceful. Food at the adjoint restaurant is good & reasonably priced. Staff are polite and friendly. It's 10/10 for these, or may be even more. Disliked : As other travelers mentioned this property needs urgent renovation. Just how good the view is, the other aspects are just the polar opposite. I had a Sea View Suite with Spa Bath. 1st of all, the architecture of this property is not made keeping convenience in mind. There are a lot of steps everywhere, big steps. There is a restaurant, I guess it's not part of the property, that's the only place you can have your meals unless you have a scooter with you. The path to that restaurant is steep. You can't bypass that trekking sort of effort to have food. Few basic things I found missing. Ex:There is no place to refill your bottle with fresh n clean water. You have to buy bottled water (which I avoid for the sake of the environment). The room facilities and hardware need an urgent overhaul. Metal surfaces are all rusted, table, door handle etc. Wash basin is almost water blocked. Bathtub/jacuzzi is very old, very difficult to operate, & hot water isn't really hot. There is a torchlight provided in the room, that is so rusted that it's literally leaking molten metal from the battery/cells inside. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. The pillows are too thick and hard. I struggled to have a good sleep. Overall: great location and view. The view alone makes it worth a visit. But the property needs a huge overhaul, the conditions can't be overlooked.

Respect to this place for trying to re open as I'm sure covid killed it.. sadly it will need a lot ofnvestment to give it a wow factor.The rooms were large and clean but very dated...the dining area / once a bar I guess isn't open other than the adequate breakfast....the grounds and gardens really need some love.... fairly priced but it really does need some money throwing at it.. good luck Utopia....

The Phangan Utopia Resort is a fantastic property that you will no doubt be happy you stayed. The rooms have a view that is second to none. My room is on the side of a cliff and you can see the blue water down below. If that was not enough miles of beautiful mountains surround you. There is an outside rain shower and the jacuzzi bathtub is also outside but private. It’s not everyday you can soak in a bathtub outside listening to the birds and watching fish breaking on the blue water below. The staff is as good as it gets. The people are friendly and helpful in every way . I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. They helped me with my luggage, made breakfast, cooked dinner, tended bar, cleaned my room and even rented me a motor bike. They also told me where to go and how to get around the island while providing me a map. On a personal level we talked and laughed at the 360 bar that they also ran. The 360 bar is 200 meters up from the resort and it is an amazing bar that has the best view on the island and maybe one of the best views in the world. The best I have seen. The sun sets over Thailand and the sky treats you with a different work of art each and every night. When I left, the staff booked my ferry and taxied me to the port. She helped me check in and waited until I was settled. This is one of those experiences that has made my life better. Thank you .

First of all big big thanks to Ms. Taka she is so accommodating from the beginning ❤️ We booked here last may 18-19 just for a night to celebrate my friends birthday she done everything as we requested and never disappoint us so if you guys needed something just tell or ask for Taka im sure she will help you! For breakfast Actually its kinda disappointing couz there is not much option for breakfast but of course i understand because i also work as a FnB at one of the resort in phangan anyway breakfast isnt a big deal for us couz we really enjoy our stay here! Its a must to visit this beautiful place!

I came to Phangan Utopia for a few nights of tranquility. It is the perfect place if you're looking for a place that is quiet and relaxing. I spent the first three nights in a mountain view room, or maybe it was the pool view room. The patio looked out onto the pool and sea behind it, while I had a mountain view from the bathroom. Utopia is about a 20 minute drive from town and there aren't many buildings around so you get really nice views of the natural surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable and was quite spacious for the price. This was a great value room. My final night, I moved to a sea view room. These small cottages are built into the cliff and the overlook the sea. It doesn't get much more relaxing than reading on the back patio with an unimpeded 180 degree sea view. The sea view rooms are more expensive than the standard rooms. They are also smaller and there were a few ants in the bathroom, but this is to be expected when you are staying in a cottage built on a cliff. I think the sea view is completely worth the extra money and the bed was also extremely comfortable (the bed in the standard room was fine). For a short-stay, I'd recommend staying in a sea view room. However, if you are staying longer, you may want to go for a larger pool/mountain view room. Finally, the staff at Utopia are so friendly and kind. You can tell they are happy working there and it makes the stay that much better. I will definitely be coming back to Utopia soon!

Good buffet breakfast. Amazing view. Great pool. Lovely and kind staff. Reasonably priced restaurant and free shuttle services to beaches nearby. However, should improve the bathroom because the shower is not good (you cannot take a shower standing), is too hot and many insects inside the room.

Perfect stay, with a wonderfull view to the see while we enjoy the food from their restaurant. The room where perfect, very quiet and clean. And the service is 10/10, very kindly host ! Can’t wait to come back !

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff and the view are first class. Sure, it's a little out of the way. But that's a small price to pay for this piece of paradise. Take the long walk from here down to the beach but be warned, it's steep! And visit 360 bar on the top of the hill for some awesome sunset views.

We had stayed there about 9 nights. The resort located on the north part of island. Nice and lovely staff, always helpful. We had room with breath taking sea view. Cleaned and tidy every day. Also our bath with shower was outside, I mean still in the house (first floor) but without window. Better time to take bath after 3pm, so you can enjoy more as the sun is going to the other side. There is no beach, but they have pool with bar where you can chill. Actually, there are no good beaches on the north part. All of them beautiful but mostly for snorkeling. Near by Chaloklum beach, mix of send and shelf. They are providing scooter rent 250 bhat per day/ laundry service 70 bhat per kg. You can rent a bike and drive around the island. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is one of the best place to stay.

Dans l'ensemble, correcte, une vue sur mer exceptionnelle, le personnel très souriant et très agréable. L'établissement et chambres-bugalows sont vieillissants et le restaurant n'offre que très peu de choix au petit déjeuner. Pour autant j'y retournerais volontiers

Нет сушилки для полотенец и купальников а с учетом дождей это необходимость, была влажность высокая и нам пришлось сушить на лежаках у бассейна. Какие-то вещи забыли перед отъездом забрать Персонал не желает вникать в проблемы.попросили поменять подушку,сказали что нет свободных хотя отель был полупустой На крыльце вечно было много мусора из-за ветра, не подметали пока не попросишь убрать полностью номер.

Mehr Schein als Sein. Wer Lust auf Gesellschaft von Spinnen und Ratten hat, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben spontan für eine Nacht eingecheckt und wurden morgens um 6 Uhr von etwas großem, haarigen, an der Decke Klettertraining absolvierendem Getier (Ratte oder Riesenspinne) geweckt. Als wir wenige Sekunden danach fast nackt auf dem Balkon standen, entdeckten wir weitere Ratten (oder ähnliches) im Dach. Von Hotelpersonal war auf dem gesamten Gelände nichts zu sehen. Lediglich eine Scharr von Hunden, bellten und knurrten uns an. Auch der Rest der Anlage ist nicht sehr einladend. Im Essensbereich waren noch Reste vom Vorabend, alte Liegen samt verdreckter Auflagen am Pool, vergammelte Bauprojekte, laut quarkende Frösche und kleffende Hunde die gesamte Nacht. Wir wollten zumindest noch das Frühstück nutzen. Ein kurzer Blick auf den Obstteller ließ uns erschaudern, denn Dreck und Armeisen garnierten die Obstplatte. Die „warmen“ Gerichte waren kalt und auch der Rest des Essens war kein Gaumenschmauss. Auf die Frage, warum wir so früh abreisen, teilten wir mit, dass wir in der Nacht Besuch einer Ratte hatten. Dies wurde gekonnt ignoriert. Zwei positive Dinge zum Abschluss: Der Ausblick ist super und unser von Vögeln vollgekoteter Roller wurde gesäubert. Dennoch würden wir hier nie wieder buchen.

Again an amazing stay at Utopia ..I love this hotel ..if you want somewhere that has amazing views ...lovely rooms...good food and very helpful staff stay here.....I have been here twice this year stayed for the whole of March and came back in October......the staff here are super helpful Michelle Aey and of course Lin are the best and Chang at the pool bar is such a lovely fun barman.....if you stay here you will not be disappointed.....the beds are so comfortable .....the views from the pool and the restaurant are stunning.....its a home from home....Bangkok airways lost my bag and Lin and Aey sorted it all out for me so I had it back the same night.... Thank you so much for another wonderful Holiday love you guys

I stayed here my first time in Koh Phangan for a few days. Rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. The pool was great, but unfortunately, it was raining a fair amount while I was there. There was also a fantastic view of the ocean

Its fantastic view resort with the best staffs, I stayed there for 3 night. I had sea view room with bath tub, view is amazing. The resort located up on the hill a bit far from town but there is shuttle bus take you out that's convenient. The staffs were fantastic, They all very helpful especially '' Kun Aey'' she is a lovely lady and helpful. The restaurant were delicious every dish we had was delicious. but only one thing that need to improve is cleaning the room. I found death insect and dirty windows that need to have a deep clean. In overall this is nice family welcome resort with amazing view. We recommended this resort.

Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel. Manche Ecken sind etwas lieblos gestaltet oder in Arbeit aber in Summe ganz nett gemacht. Ohne Roller oder Auto ist man allerdings aufgeschmissen. Die Chefin und das Team der Rezeption waren supernett und hilfsbereit (bei einer Reifenpanne wurden wir abends direkt eingesammelt). Das Team im Restaurant ist träge, aber auch nett. Unser Zimmer U22 hatte einen tollen Blick über die Bucht. Sauberkeit war ok, man darf halt keine 5 Sterne Deluxe Sauberkeit erwarten. Auch Haustiere gab es. Versch. Geckos begrüßten uns in den Abendstunden. Wir fanden das aber eher niedlich als störend. Der Poolbereich ist nicht riesig, aber für die Anzahl der Gäste, die da waren ausreichend. Netter Barkeeper am Pool. Das Essen war in Summe lecker. Morgens ein abwechselndes Frühstücksbüffet und abends a la carte. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Great, clean modern hotel set ontop of a hill over looking the ocean = great view!! Excellent service from hotel staff. A short 100m walk to lookout/roof top bar which is a magical place to watch the sun set. Surrounded by some of my favorite beaches in Thailand. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet, good quality. Best bang for buck hotel A+

A bit far from everything, be prepared to pay a lot for taxi or rent a scooter. i had a poolside room, which was good (except for 2 cockroaches), but the poolside bar was open until midnight playing pumping music so not really ideal for the kind of relaxing i was looking for. The view was nice, pool clean, but also kind of useless because of loud renovations/ shrieking drilling noise from 10am-. Not good for relaxing, day or night. The restaurant staff was really unorganized, i had 5 different people serving me, you can guess the chaos that resulted.. so getting the food took ages. I spent about 2 hours in total in the restaurant, left right after eating, maybe 20mins of that they had a power cut, so you can count the speed of things from that.. mango Shake was great, Panang curry cold when delivered and rice came like 10 min after and was even colder, so i sent it back and had finished the curry without rice before they came with the replacement (another 10-15mins). The curry was also the worst Ive had in thailand. Ate there only once.

Die Bungalows sind recht alt und herunter gekommen, Klimaanlage macht laute Geräusche und tropft im Zimmer. Die Dusche ist für kleine Leute, ich bin 1,68 m groß und habe nicht darunter gepasst, außerdem hat das „Badezimmer“ überall Schimmel. Rollenverleih vor Ort, leider mussten wir bei der Rückgabe 1300 Baht bezahlen, für zwei Krazer die wir nicht verursacht haben. Transfer zur Full Moon und wieder zurück kann man auch im Hotel buchen, leider standen wir zu 8 am vereinbarten Treffpunkt und keiner hat uns abgeholt. Haben nichts zurück erstattet bekommen. Das einzig schöne ist die Aussicht beim frühstücken. Jedoch kein direkter Strandzugang und man ist auf einen Roller angewiesen. Außerdem wurde unser Zimmer trotz Schlüsselabgabe nicht gereinigt. Wir würden nicht nochmal hin.

It was amazing resort, i love it so much..good customer services,nice staff,food was very good also even a bit far but worth it..amazing view from the top..sure will come back again next time..

The staff were lovely and helpful, the view was incredible, the pool was clean and had a stunning view and the uptopia fried rice from the restaurant was delicious. Loved being there and would visit Koh Phangan again just for that resort. Would highly recommend.

Ik vond vooral de douch zonder dak erg leuk. Alsof je in de natuur staat te douchen .

Hôtel assez vieux Confort simple.Chambre sans déco ni placards !!! .Literie dure .Jolie piscine.En hauteur sur une colline loin des plages et de la route donc au calme mais rien autour.Il faut leur louer un scooter ou prendre la navette gratuite pour les plages ou un taxi .Nous avions un bungalow avec une belle terrasse et une belle vue avec une baignoire.Repas corrects et personnel assez sympathique.

Hôtel sans intérêt, sauf pour le vue. Infrastructure vieillissante, sans entretien et c'est vraiment dommage! C'est un joli hôtel sur photo et de loin.

L'hôtel est bien situé (coté calme de l'île) Chaloklum et haad salad à proximité. Le personnel est sympathique. La chambre est globalement confortable mais la propreté est moyenne. L'eau est coupée la nuit donc pour les toilette mieux vaut ne pas être malade.. La pression de douche est très faible. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est cher. Par contre le petit déjeuné inclut (buffet) est très complet et à volonté! La laundry est également un peu plus cher en passant par l'hôtel. Possibilité de louer le scooter et d'organiser le transfert vers le port avec l'hôtel.

Avoid room U11. It has a rock garden in the shower/bathroom and therefore it has cockroaches and other bugs crawling in and out of it. Shower spray very weak and bed was uncomfortable. One front staff is fantastic and the other (with glasses) needs to be fired. Beautiful views, good breakfast. Nice pool, but we only went to the beach (via scooter - you need a scooter here, it is not close to anything). We were there for live music at the 360 restaurant and it was excellent. We had to come back for one night and had a better room - no bugs, but bed was still not good. I would look for somewhere else next time.

Voor 2de maal kang verblijf hier. Fijne plek. Je hebt wel een scooter nodig. Gied eten in restaurant: zowel Thais als westers.

I love Utopia so much. They treat me like family. I've been to Ko Pha Ngan 4 times and 3 out of my 4 times I stayed at Utopia, and the one time I didn't I regretted it so much! The resort is very clean, beautiful, has a great pool. It is a little far from the closest 7/11 but there is a free shuttle everyday by the hotel workers that will take you to the 3 popular beaches on Pha Ngan and then you can go to the 7/11 when you're at the beach. If you're looking for central Ko Pha Ngan and want to party and meet people at night then this isn't the place to go as it'll be hard to get home late at night. It is up a hill and taxis stop running early on the island.

We enjoyed staying here. The views are amazing, the staff was genuinely friendly and the pool side happy hour was relaxing. We would return.

The view are beautiful and the staff are very helpful. They did have a few issues with the credit card machine so just make sure to have cash on you just in case. It was a really good hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights recently & loved everything about it. The staff was always available to answer questions, the daily breakfast was a nice treat, the bungalows are cozy & clean, and it's situated in the peaceful northern part of the island.

I only spent 3 nights at this resort but wish it was longer. Great location with beautiful views of both mountains and the coastline. The 360 bar is only a short walk up the hill with a picturesque sunset view.

Podría ser un magnífico hotel, pero está descuidado. El encargado hace todo lo posible por atenderte bien, pero hay mucho Trabajo por hacer.

Séjour un peu gaché par le bruit du bar qui c'est installé sur le point de vue au dessus de l'hôtel mais cela a été rapidement arrangé par le personnel de la réception qui nous a changé de chambre. Les bungalows en bois sont beaucoup plus beau que les chambres en dur, beau point de vue depuis l'hôtel et personnel très serviable.

Is situated on a mountain, so Only the Hotel restaurant to go to at night for dinner. Free shuttle bus to three beaches, good but slightly odd times. The pool is nice, beautiful view. Helpful girls in the reception. Can be slight problems with animals, but if you are lucky you won't see the lizards or spiders. We had rats in our room but we could change rooms without any discussion. Overall a good experience.

Best value on the island so far. Stayed 6 nights, wished we had booked longer, but they were full. The staff is obviously well trained in customer satisfaction....always friendly and available. Basic but free breakfast, and shuttle to near beaches makes up for slightly more remote location. Amazing viewpoint evening bar for sunsets. Also great views from restaurant and pool. Only problem was bathrooms...NO water pressure, only a dribble. Also, the only mirror is in bathroom with very little lighting...needs updating.

Prima kamer met mooi uitzicht. Zwembad etc zeer schoon. Het personeel is zo ontzettend vriendelijk, lief en behulpzaam. Zeer relaxte sfeer. We hadden 6 dagen geboekt, maar uiteindelijk 14 dagen gebleven. Scooter rijden is wel handig in de buurt! We komen vaker op het eiland, maar voor ons is dit de beste plek!

とにかくゆっくりしたい人にはオススメ。 パンガン島の繁華街からはかなり離れていますが、ここは極上のリゾート。 プールや部屋はかなりチープな感じがしますが、値段の割にはいいホテルでは無いでしょうか？ プールやレストランからの眺望は素晴らしい！

Hingegend der Map Beschreibung bei expedia hier liegt die Anlage Mitten im Nichts und nur über eine steile Strasse zu erreichen. Nächste Ort oder Dorf ist in ca. 2-3 Km und man ist auf eine Moped oder Zubringerbus angewiesen. Auf Phangan ist Taxi Service im Verhältnis zum restlichen Thailand echt teuer. Zimmer, nunja wir hatten Standard gebucht und angeblich ein upgrate bekommen. Zimmer waren mit Blick auf Pool. Zimmerausstattung einfach aber ausreichend, jedoch Türen schliessen schlecht und sind undicht, jeder und alles was kreucht und fleucht wandert ins Zimmer, im Bad die Fester genau das selbe. Generell ist auch zu sagen es gibt immer und zu jeder Zeit Moskito Problem. Es wäre empfehlenswert Netze aufzuhängen und von selbst mittel gegen die Plage einzusetzen nicht erst nach ansprechen Spraymittel einzusetzen in den Zimmern. Die Sauberkeit wird nicht so gross geschrieben. Vorhänge da lebt alles drin und fleckig und dreckig, interessiert aber keinen, Bettwäsche löchrig und geflickt. Frühstück hatten wir zum Glück durch ein Missgeschick nicht mit bestellt. Es wird a la Card gereicht und ist nicht zu empfeheln. Lieber unten in Ort bei 7/11 einkaufen und aufs zimmer mitnehmen oder im Ort essen. Auf dein Fahtzeug ist man angesichts der echt steilen Strassen angewiesen. Bewertungen über Freundlichkeit des Personals gebe ich nicht ab sowas setzt man doch vorraus das es freundlich ist. Miete für Motorbike wird an der Rezeption möglich und zum Preis von 200Thb

Great stay from start to finish. Free pick up from the pier (but must pay for return journey Thb200 per person). We were upgraded to a pool view room. Rooms are comfortable and clean with good hot shower and good A/C. Good reasonably priced food and drink. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle service to 3 of the local beaches if you decide not to rent a bike and hotel will organise taxis for you. The views from the pool and restaurant are stunning. Wifi in public areas but worked well. Resort is on a hill so not for someone with mobility issues. Would happily stay here again.

The room was very old, maybe over 20 year old and was very dirty there's no basic things like a hairdryer inside. The water pressure in the shower too weak takes a hour to clean away the shampoo. A lot of animals that nobody takes care of walking around. Some strange voice came from the wooden wall, maybe a rat. And a lot of ants and other things of this sort was traveling there everywhere. Nobody cleaned our room for 4 nights and mostly we was outside. The location is very bad far from evreything, the taxi super expensive starts from 200 baht, you should rent a motorcycle to get anywhere. The only good thing is the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was good and tasty. The guests there also was nice mostly couples.

Hotel bien situé au calme avec vue sur la plage ou sur les elephants. Tres belle piscine avec petit bar tres sympa. Personnel accueillant

Aufenthalt war sehr gut! sehr freundliches und bemühtes personal! tolle Aussicht. shuttleservice zum Strand! es werden direkt vom Hotel aus roller ausgeliehen (200bt/Tag)... alles top! (Hier wird man nicht abgezockt ;-) ) gute Ausstattung mit Fan und Klima, TV + DVD (kostenlose Ausleihe) negativ: morgens und abends ca 1 Std ziemlich viele Mücken! Duschkopf sollte entkalkt werden! ;-) sonst alles top!

The hotel is in a fabulous setting perched on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean with Koh Samui on the distant horizon. The TV was not as described and instead of an LCD was a very old CRT with only a couple of English speaking channels. There is no WIFI in the room. The staff were very friendly and polite. If it was not for the incredible views I would not be happy to pay more than 1,000 THB...it actually cost 2,100.Breakfast was ok but minimal....so called American consisted of 2 very small American style bacon rashers, two fried eggs and two undercooked pieces of toast. Only stayed 1 night so it was okay for that, but very isolated with little to do locally other than admire the views.

This place was the perfect resort getaway. The rooms are private and the sea view ones have open bathtubs and showers overlooking the bay which are spectacular. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It is a long way from the party scene on the island so keep that in mind when booking for the full moon and/or jungle parties and taxi's can be harder to get. Overall its such a nice place, but more suited to a couple than a partygoer.
