Wir konnten unser Gepäck im Hotel deponieren, um die Umgebung zu Fuss zu erkunden. Im Hotel eigenen Restaurant sollte man unbedingt frühzeitig reservieren, denn das Essen war sehr gut. Auch das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen.

We stayed for one night as a family while travelling from the west coast to St Andrews. Our family room was spacious for three, with a separate area containing bunk beds. Dinner in the restaurant was very good - we had lamb, pasta with meatballs and an especially delicious venison casserole. Breakfast was ordered the night before, with several choices including a full cooked breakfast. Selecting a breakfast time worked well for us, as we could eat later than the hikers heading out early.

Nothing significant. Our visit was brief and the weather was very wet, so unfortunately we didn’t get much opportunity to explore Killin.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel, mit schöner Ausstattung und nettem Personal. Frühstück war zum vorbestellen und sehr lecker. Zimmer sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Der Pizza-Montag war genial. Danke auch fürs Verkosten der verschiedenen Biere.

Eventuell mal den Lattenrost in Zimmer 1 tauschen 😉

The most welcoming of stays I have ever had. Entirely professional but so very friendly and welcoming. Lynn was so warm and made me feel like I was in a home from home. I was looked after from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. So relaxing. My evening meal request wasn't an issue... I was given a perfect spot in the bar area where my meal and the service was superb. After meal and a sunset wander I slept like a proverbial log. Breakfast was perfect. Relaxed atmosphere. Food sublime and service so very subtle, efficient and considerate.

One small concern was the slowness of shower tray to empty in the morning. I turned the power down a little as I was worried it was going to overflow. Everything else was PERFECT.

Room was very spacious and comfortable with thoughtful touches eg hot chocolate and Tunnock’s tea cakes along with a bottle of water each. Dinner in the bistro was also delicious.

Lovely room with three beds for our family of four on the third floor, stair access only. Kind, attentive innkeeper went out of her way to make us feel welcome and gave us great advice about a ferry-scheduling snafu for our next stop. Delicious dinner and breakfast (book in advance!). We stayed the night of the World Cup match between England & Argentina, loved watching it in the small bar with lots of locals who came with their dogs. Walked to the beautiful falls in the village and down a private lane where you can see the neolithic Killin Stone Circle.

Excellent. Lived the haggis, black pudding and bacon especially. Pizza night on Monday is great.

The staff were excellent, although one was surprisingly surly.

The shower was very small, drained slow and had a shallow shower pan, had to turn water off midsole to avoid overflowing.

A very beautiful, comfortable and welcoming little hotel in a quant village, with beautiful nature all around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of four in the Suite room

Sehr liebe und freundliche Mitarbeiter, alles sehr gemütlich und die Badewanne tat nach einem langen Tag sehr gut. Sehr gut gelegen für unsere Weiterfahrt Richtung Westen und mit einem wunderschönen Fluss um die Ecke. Beim Frühstück konnte man am Abend vorab zwischen vielen verschiedenen Varianten wählen.

A few obstacles in the room one could potentially bump in to ie bed end, corner shelf and sloping ceilings but the bed was super comfy and the shower was great

Estaba en una ubicación perfecta en un pueblo con mucho encanto, a dos minutos andando de Falls of Dochart. El desayuno es muy bueno. No es buffet y es personalizado pudiendo elegir lo que deseas desayunar. Nuestra habitación era enorme y muy muy cómoda. Muy amable el personal.

Aunque sé que cada lugar tiene sus horarios, no me gustó que el horario de la cena acabara tan pronto. El precio lo considero bastante alto, pero es cierto que por la zona todo era bastante caro y allí estuvimos muy agusto.

We only booked an economy room, No7 and it was so hot in this weather. TV no signal but wouldn’t normally use but the World Cup was on. Obviously not a great deal. But overall it was an amazing property , maybe a fan in each room would be good. Breakfast was amazing xxx

The inn is in a fantastic location, and the staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and a massive asset to the property. The evening meal was the absolute highlight of our stay, as we had delicious pizza cooked in a genuine pizza oven. Additionally, the bathroom was spotlessly clean with a very nice walk-in shower, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast option.

Unfortunately, the bedroom was small and cramped, with an uncomfortable bed that was far too soft and shifted around whenever you moved. The furniture was mismatched, tired, and worn out, looking like it had been cheap when first bought. The breakfast system was also disappointing because there is no buffet and you have to pre-order the night before, and the continental options were poor, offering no fresh fruit and only a basic Muller Corner yogurt.

We booked a room with 4 beds for 4 adults. There were only 2 towels and one set of shampoo and shower gel for the 4 of us. May be in future to make sure there is enough facilities for all quests otherwise it was very good place to stay in.

The Courie Inn was situated in a lovely little town and was a quiet place to stay.

The staff weren’t all the helpful when we arrived. It was as if they assumed we should know exactly what their procedure was even having never stayed there. They were friendly, but not that helpful which made me feel like a bother when I had to ask about where to turn in my menu for breakfast in the morning because they didn’t say.

Reception staff were very welcoming. Our room was supplied with toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. It had adequate storage facilities for an overnight stay. Evening meal had to be booked in advance but we were informed about this after booking and the food was excellent.

A very nice and comfortable place to stay after a long day in Glencoe and heading back to the east coast. Had an excellent dinner in their dining room and a delicious breakfast that came with our reservation.

It would have been good to have been able to get in for some drinks/food before checking in at 3pm however the hotel doesn't open till 3pm so had to go elsewhere unfortunately. Locally there are no options for meals/food in any pubs/hotels after around 8pm so consider this when looking to book dinner etc. Booking.com also had the hotel advertised as "Pets Stay Free" when we booked, however we were unfortunately charged a £10 fee.

Hosts were especially welcoming and made us feel at home from the start. Room was clean with all we needed. Breakfast was lovely.

This place defines Scotland. While we had to cling lots of stairs to our room once we got there we loved it. Lynn is very hospitable as were all the staff. The food in the little cafe was very good. Best sticky toffee pudding in Scotland.

I stayed at the Courrie Inn for one night as part of a group of four women walking the Rob Roy Way. It was an absolute delight and, without doubt, our favourite stop along the route. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. I would definitely book to stay again.

The breakfast was very good and it was good we could select the evening before. We loved the location in the heart of the lovely village of Killin.

This was our second time at the Courrie Inn. This independent hotel's atmosphere is cosy and the food is lovely with a great breakfast the next day. They're also very dog friendly which is nice.

The hotel is quite an older building and therefore, it is noisy. There was a party and due to noise from other guests, we didn't have a great night's sleep. If you come here, bring earplugs.
