Reviewed Aug 22, 2025The hotel itself is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The food is excellent—I especially recommend the burger made with local beef, it’s outstanding. However, one big issue is the way it’s listed on Expedia. It shows up as a hotel in Rouyn-Noranda, but in reality, it’s located in Amos, which is about an hour’s drive away. I searched specifically for hotels in Rouyn-Noranda, and this property came up even though it’s nowhere near the town. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but travelers should be aware of the location misrepresentation before booking.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2025L'accueil est bien, mais décu dela chambre du lit et entendre marcher le.monde dans les escalier extérieures jusqu'au petite heure du matin, chercher l'interrupteur sur le.mur pour allumer les lumières pour découvrir qu'il n'y en aucun qui fonctionne, que que pour les appareils électriques il son tous brancher sur un multiprise pas très sécuritaire finalement moi je n'y retournerai plus et pour finir il y as le déjeuner de fournie mais j'avais décider de pas le prendre, il y as eu une personne qui a voulue entrer dans la.chambre le matin sans frapper a la.portw une chance que nous avions placer la barrure sur la porte, ma conjointe lui a dit qu'il y avais du monde elle a répondu c'est pour le déjeuner vous ne l'avez pas pris . Pas besoin d'entrer de force pour le dire

Room is small and a bit smelly and just under the bar / restaurant so you can hear customers walking. Not much choice of hotel nearby here, not sure if it's better elsewhere. The price is definitely too high for the value. The receptionist seems to be in an advanced level of depression, seems very difficult to give us back a smile

Reviewed May 29, 2024Although a bit dated in some respects, recent renovations are evident. The room was clean, the bed comfortable although a Queen would have been appreciated rather than a Double. The continental breakfast had great hours for those on the road early (5:30am). The room was affordable and priced accordingly. The Chinese buffet next door was excellent. The exterior (front) was paved however the rooms at the back were off a laneway which is narrow and largely unkept. The back was gravel with overgrown grass and plenty of potholes. The hill is steep so be careful if you have a vehicle with a low chassis. The step and back porch need some TLC as some of the boards are split. If I rated the overall experience a positive, is that for the price the accommodations were better than expected. The hotel is also within walking distance to the hotel and for this visit it was our primary reason for being in the area.

Pour Le déjeuner seulement pain brun, blanc bagel, confiture beurre d’arachides et on pouvais se faire des gaufres. Aucun autres choix.

My room was on the backside of the hotel adjacent to homes. The house directly behind my room had an incessant barking dog. It's not the hotel's fault, but the dog rarely ever shut up.
