Service
The great thing about a Four Seasons stay is consistency. The Four Seasons Mahe is no exception. We found this to be a perfect spot for rest and relaxation. While the resort is spread out and step in some places, that’s a major part of its charm. The views are just spectacular from everywhere. The villas themselves are very private and create the feeling that you are in your own private oasis. We have stayed at many Four Seasons resorts, in villas, and of all of our experiences, we think Four Seasons Mahe may be our favorite. All the main areas of the resort are grouped together for convenience, and getting around is a simple call or text on the Four Seasons app. A driver was always available within just a few minutes to shuttle us to wherever we needed. The beach staff was great and always available to make sure we had everything we may possibly need to make a beach day enjoyable. Cold water, towels, food, drinks. Anything you need they make happen. Special thanks to Jonathan for his exceptional hospitality. We enjoyed dining at all the restaurants. The steak shack experience on the beach was a treat, and the amazing Indian cuisine at the Kannal bar, with special hospitality from Chakana and Yvonne, was most memorable. Many thanks to both Bianca and Moe for a gracious visit to Four Seasons Mahe. We definitely look forward to a return trip in the future.
It was as far from my original intention or expectation as possible that I would feel the need to rate this resort a 3 out of 5. However, needs must and a full and frank review must prevail; please see the "why" below. We stayed for one week at the resort in May in a Serenity Villa, the highest one-bedroom villa category at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles on Mahé. It is difficult to review this property without sounding, at least initially, like an overexcited travel brochure: the setting is not merely beautiful, but almost indecently so. Nature has bestowed upon this resort an embarrassment of riches. Unfortunately, however, nature also ended up doing rather too much of the heavy lifting. Let me begin with what is indisputably exceptional. The view from our villa was one of the most extraordinary I have encountered anywhere in the world. The villa sat high above Petite Anse, enveloped by thick tropical vegetation, with the bay opening beneath us in successive bands of luminous turquoise, aquamarine and deep Indian Ocean blue. The white crescent of beach curved around the foot of the densely forested headland; villas appeared intermittently through the canopy; and, beyond the bay, the mountainous silhouette of Mahé dissolved into the horizon beneath enormous sculptural clouds. The effect was almost absurdly picturesque. Waking there felt less like occupying a hotel room than somehow having taken up residence inside a screensaver. From the terrace, the plunge pool appeared to hover above a green amphitheatre of palms and jungle, with the sea occupying the entire middle distance. Even the occasional tropical cloudburst only added further theatricality to the scene. The photographs are spectacular, but the reality is better: the scale, colour and depth of the landscape cannot quite be flattened into two dimensions. The Serenity Villa itself was also exceptionally well maintained. Whatever criticisms follow—and there are several significant ones—they should not obscure the fact that the physical upkeep of our accommodation was first-rate. The pool, terrace, woodwork, external areas and interiors were presented beautifully, and the villa retained that rare quality of feeling both thoroughly cared for and comfortably lived-in. Its indoor-outdoor configuration made complete sense in this environment, and there was something really pleasurable about moving between the shaded veranda, the private pool and the glass-fronted interior while the whole of Petite Anse unfolded below. The villa’s name, however, proved to be an unfortunate exercise in irony. Rather than serenity, our principal daytime accompaniment was a near-constant mechanical symphony of pneumatic drilling emanating from works being carried out at adjoining private residences. This was not an occasional hammer, a brief maintenance intervention or the kind of background activity one reasonably tolerates at any operating hotel. It was sustained, intrusive construction noise which accompanied us through the day, every day: an industrial percussion section placed alongside what was supposedly one of the resort’s most private and peaceful villas (!). Management did make efforts, once the matter was raised, to curtail or stop the disturbance, and I give due credit for that. The individuals involved appeared genuinely concerned and did try to assist. Nevertheless, the underlying position remained deeply disappointing. We had paid the full and very substantial price for a week in the resort’s highest one-bedroom category. There had been no advance warning that significant works were taking place close enough to our villa to be plainly audible throughout the day. That information would self-evidently have been material to our decision as to whether to travel on those dates, whether to select that category, or whether to stay at the resort at all. At this level, it is not sufficient to respond sympathetically after the guest has discovered the problem. The purpose of luxury hospitality at the level the FS targets is not merely to apologise elegantly for foreseeable friction; it is to identify and eliminate that friction before the guest encounters it. A villa marketed on serenity and privacy should not come with an involuntary soundtrack resembling the excavation of a small municipal car park. Disappointing is an understatement. Petite Anse itself, by contrast, is genuinely magnificent. Although public rather than a private hotel beach in the strict sense, it must rank among the most beautiful beaches in the world. The sand is pale, soft and immaculately framed by granite and dense vegetation; the water graduates through improbable shades of blue; and the enclosing hills give the bay a secluded, almost cinematic quality. It is the sort of beach against which most others subsequently appear to require an apology. The beach also avoids feeling over-engineered. There are loungers and resort facilities, naturally, but the principal impression remains one of landscape rather than infrastructure. At quieter moments, with the palms moving above the sand and the bay largely empty, Petite Anse came close to the Platonic ideal of a tropical beach. Whatever shortcomings the hotel may have operationally, its location is beyond criticism. Food and beverage was, in the round, of a high calibre and constituted one of the stronger elements of the stay. The cooking was generally accomplished, presentation was attractive and the overall standard across the week was reassuringly consistent. Dining against this backdrop—whether high on the hillside or nearer the water—inevitably carries its own considerable charm. The resort has the raw ingredients for a genuinely exceptional culinary experience, both literally and atmospherically. Yet even here, one episode at the Japanese restaurant encapsulated with almost comic precision the wider absence of polish by senior management. Having dressed properly for dinner—“glammed-up to the nines” would not be an inaccurate description—I sat down on a dining chair which had been left covered in fresh paint. Or, according to F&B Management, not paint at all, but residual lacquer from refurbishment carried out earlier that day... This was not quite the exculpation they appeared to believe it was. Whether the substance was technically paint, lacquer or some hitherto undiscovered third category of decorative coating was entirely beside the point. It was a fresh finishing product left on a chair upon which a guest had been invited to sit. Indeed, the explanation that the restaurant had undergone refurbishment earlier that same day arguably made matters worse: it suggested that the space had been returned to service without anyone performing the most elementary inspection of the furniture. The correct response was obvious: immediate ownership, an unqualified apology and a serious attempt to remedy the situation. Instead, I was met with semantic hair-splitting which felt less like an effort to resolve the problem than an ex post facto attempt to re-label it out of existence. “It was lacquer, not paint” is not a luxury-hospitality defence; it is a distinction without a practical difference to the guest sitting in it. The incident was, of course, singular. But it was also paradigmatic. At a genuinely polished property, somebody checks the chair. If, notwithstanding that check, something goes wrong, management does not contradict the guest over the chemical taxonomy of the substance involved. The episode revealed a lack of care at the operational level and, more troublingly, a lack of instinctive ownership at the managerial one. It was precisely the opposite of the anticipatory, gracious and frictionless service for which the FS name is supposed to stand. The resort’s buggy operation was another persistent weakness. Given the steep and sprawling hillside topography, buggies are not an ornamental convenience here; they are the resort’s circulatory system. When that system becomes slow and sclerotic, the entire guest experience suffers. At periods of high occupancy, it simply did not operate with sufficient efficiency. Buggies ordered in advance were frequently late. When one telephoned for a buggy ad hoc, waiting times could be considerable and uncertain. Worse, there appeared to be no consistently observed queue or allocation system among guests: people would sometimes simply hail the nearest passing buggy, irrespective of who had been waiting or who had called first. The result was an atmosphere of low-level transport anxiety wholly incompatible with a relaxing resort stay. One found oneself calculating backward from dinner reservations, allowing increasingly elaborate contingency margins and wondering whether the promised buggy would arrive—or whether it would be intercepted en route by somebody more assertively positioned at the roadside. Travelling between one’s villa, the beach and the restaurants became unnecessarily awkward and stressful. This may sound like a small matter, but it wasn't. Where guests are structurally dependent upon hotel transport, that transport must be prompt, orderly and sufficiently resourced. It should not turn an evening reservation into a minor logistical tribunal. The resort either requires more buggies at peak occupancy, better dispatching, a transparent queuing protocol, or some combination of all three. The great majority of the buggy drivers were fabulous: warm, friendly, engaging and eager to assist. A small minority, however, were noticeably over-familiar. On more than one occasion, drivers appeared to consider casual swearing or curse words appropriate in conversation with guests. Perhaps this was intended as friendliness; it did not land that way. Casual profanity from staff lowered the tone of the experience and felt distinctly out of place at a resort of this positioning and price. This was plainly not representative of the buggy team as a whole, but it was sufficiently jarring to be memorable. That, ultimately, is the difficulty with Four Seasons Seychelles. The property possesses almost everything required to be one of the great Indian Ocean resorts: a spectacular hillside setting; villas with genuinely breathtaking views; exceptional physical maintenance; a beach of almost preposterous beauty; and generally high-quality food and beverage. The bones are not merely good—they are extraordinary. But the soft product did not consistently rise to the level of the setting, the tariff or the flag. Too many elements lacked the final layer of refinement: foreseeable construction noise without advance disclosure; unreliable and disorderly buggy transport; occasional over-familiarity from staff; a freshly coated restaurant chair; and a managerial response more concerned with disputing whether the offending substance was paint or lacquer than with recognising how completely unacceptable the incident was. These were not failures of friendliness. Most members of staff were pleasant, warm and well-intentioned. Nor were they failures of physical luxury. The villa was superbly maintained and the resort is visually breathtaking. They were failures of anticipation, coordination, consistency and managerial judgement—the less photogenic disciplines which distinguish an expensive hotel in a beautiful location from a truly exceptional luxury resort. At this price point, and particularly under the FS name, guests are entitled to expect more than a beautiful room, agreeable food and genial intentions. They are paying for competence made invisible: transport which arrives before it becomes a concern; maintenance activity managed without intruding upon the stay; restaurant furniture checked before service; and managers who instinctively own a failure rather than attempting to argue it into a different category. FS Seychelles offers a setting which will remain vividly in my memory. There were mornings when the light over Petite Anse was so beautiful that almost any criticism seemed momentarily churlish. But a hotel cannot rely indefinitely upon the landscape to settle the account.
Exceptional Property with amazing people !

My boys and I stayed at the Four Seasons Mahe Seychelles for 5 nights in the 2 BR Hilltop Villa and I must say that this was the nicest property that I have ever stayed at. The views from the villa were nothing short of spectacular. We looked out over the beautifully white sandy beach, turquoise waters and mountainous islands in the distance. As part of our villa experience, we were assigned Jim who anticipated every need we might possess. He was always around while still giving us our privacy. He drove us everywhere on the property whenever we asked and made all of our dinner and excursion reservations and, even if we were initially unable to get a reservation that we wanted (because I asked for it so late), Jim worked his magic and always managed to get us in. He was professional and always so polite and such a hard worker. He made our stay immeasurably better- thanks Jim! As part of our experience, we had an air conditioned dining room and family room where we could take meals or watch movies. We also had a huge pool, hot tub, spacious A/C bedrooms and bathrooms which had every amenity you’d want. It was so relaxing just hanging out on a chaise lounge on our deck and looking at the stunning view. We also spent time at the beach which was gorgeous- and the staff was so accommodating and moved our chaise lounges wherever we wanted them and were always available to take whatever food/drink order we asked for. There was a huge pool which we used to just hang out in or for me to do laps. Lots of free water sports- the highlight was the snorkeling right off our beach that had the most amazing colored fish which hung out around the corals- as well as table tennis, an oversized chess set, basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc. The food was terrific with plenty of choices for everyone- a great steak place, Japanese, Indian, Asia, etc. The chef, Merbin, made sure that I always had delicious vegetarian options and presented the best dinners and even shared his cooking tips with me! We had everything that we could possibly want and only left the property once to go on a sunset helicopter ride that Jim was able to secure at the last minute. Candidly, we never wanted to leave- a huge thanks to Jim, Merbin and everyone at the Four Seasons Mahe for the best vacation ever!!

It’s truly heaven on earth—everything was simply perfect! The staff were exceptional: polite, incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. They genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They fulfilled the most tiny details in our stay: even welcoming our baby, and preparing us a special dinner table at our last night. A special thanks to Chef Hussein, who kindly prepared sushi for us even though it was not on the menu at that time, and to Mohammad Soboh, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Most of all, I would like to recognize Francis, the barman, whose kindness, warmth, and genuine care made a lasting impression. He was always helpful, friendly, and professional, and his positive attitude added so much to our experience. Francis is truly a wonderful person and a great asset to the resort. It was the best hotel experience of our lives. From the stunning views and beautiful beaches to the private pool, exceptional breakfast, and thoughtful attention to detail, everything was perfect. Absolutely worth every penny. Absolutely coming back!
Nothing!
Values privacy, personal touch of the staff, fulfilling our needs, thus making our stay more memorable and exceeding our expectations of a luxury vacation.
Every thing was great Staff was excellent Especially Hamza ( from Tunisia )
The price still high
Privacy, and the beach was the best in all Seychelles. The coral reefs were amazing and snorkeling is highly recommended
No issues at all
The Four Seasons Hotel in the Seychelles is an absolute hidden paradise. The raw beauty is breathtaking, secluded waters wrapping around an isolated corner of the island, with sunsets that energize the soul. Once you’re here, you truly don’t need to leave, everything is right at your fingertips. What makes it truly unforgettable, though, is the team. Thibault and every member ensured flawless, warm service, making these five days special. We’ll keep coming back.

Couldn’t speak more highly about four seasons Seychelles. I ate the best food I have ever eaten in my life. The Asia menu at Zeze is to die for, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The waiter Jessica and buggy driver Emmanuel I remember specifically due to their talkative and friendly personality. The beach here is insane, Samuel in recreation was so helpful and knowledgeable with all the sea life and knowledge of the bay. There was so much to do and I am very very upset that I can’t stay there forever. We were allowed to take a last minute kayak out to see the dolphins on our last day which was incredible. We had lunch on the beach most days and you could request pretty much anything you wanted, the staff were always open to dietary changes to food which meant that everyone could eat everything. The views from the ocean villa rooms were insane too. We went for morning walks on the beach and had the whole beach to ourselves, it felt like paradise!!! If there was any slight issue with anything you could contact anyone so quickly using the chat and the problem would be resolved instantly. I could not recommend this resort enough, the hospitality and cleanliness was 10/10 would be the first place I book again.
There are hotels that impress you. And there are hotels that handle the moment when something goes wrong — and impress you even more for it. We had a room issue during our stay. We discovered it had been fully resolved while we were at dinner — no interruption, no awkward visit, no theatre. Just a problem that had quietly disappeared, and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting on our return as a gesture of acknowledgment. That is a particular kind of competence. The kind that requires trust between a team, awareness of where guests are, and the confidence to act without making a moment of it. Behind much of that warmth was James, head of guest relations. He looked after us for the entire stay with a character that is difficult to manufacture — honest, open, genuinely interested. Not the polished friendliness that luxury hotels sometimes mistake for hospitality, but something more real. He is the kind of person who makes a large resort feel like it knows you, and that quality ran through every day we were there. A small story that says everything: Bayern Munich had just beaten Real Madrid 4-3 to reach the Champions League semi-finals — a night my son will not forget in a hurry. Somehow the hotel knew. Nobody asked us anything. But a beautifully decorated cake arrived, Bayern branding and all, completely spontaneous, completely unprompted. Nobody made a fuss about it. It simply appeared. That is the kind of gesture that a child carries home with him, and a parent quietly never forgets. That tone comes from the top, and in this case the top has a name: Nitin, the General Manager. What struck us, speaking with him and others, was how many of the senior team have been with the Four Seasons brand for fifteen, sometimes twenty years. That is not a coincidence — that is a culture that earns loyalty. And loyalty of that kind produces something a new hire simply cannot: an instinct for the guest, built across years of genuine experience. You feel it in the way things are handled before you have to ask. Nitin carries that same depth — professional without being stiff, warm without being performative. His mark is on everything, and James, in many ways, is the human face of the standard Nitin sets. A word on rooms, because the choice matters more here than at most resorts. The villas are built into the hillside, and the hilltop category is where this property truly reveals itself. If you can, book a Serenity villa. The privacy is on another level — you are essentially suspended above the bay with an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean that greets you from bed, from the pool, from the shower. It is the kind of view that stops you mid-conversation. The walk down to the beach requires some effort, but the buggy service is reliable and after a day or two it simply becomes part of the rhythm. Do not let the hilltop location discourage you — it is precisely what makes these villas extraordinary. If anything, the guests who book beach-level and miss the panorama are the ones who lose out. Now, the beach itself. I have been to Bora Bora, the Maldives, the Amalfi coast. I say this not to brag but to offer context: Petite Anse in April is the most beautiful beach I have seen in my life. The sand is powder white and so fine it barely registers under your feet. The water is the kind of crystal clear that makes the word “turquoise” feel insufficient. And then there is the life inside it — schools of fish moving around you in formation, unhurried, completely indifferent to your presence in the best possible way. You are swimming inside an aquarium that nobody built. Whether other months offer the same I cannot say — April was, simply, extraordinary. The overall atmosphere carries the same quality as everything else here. Attentive but never intrusive. Luxurious without being theatrical. The kind of place that makes effort invisible, which is the hardest trick of all. Four Seasons Seychelles earns its reputation — not through the views alone, which would already be enough, but through the people who choose every day to run it properly. And through the people who chose, fifteen or twenty years ago, to build a career here and never leave. That story tells you everything. We will be back.
Everything. Beach was wonderful. We did snorkelling all day. Room, housekeeping, helpful and kind staff, breakfast, we loved everything.
Nothing.
Simply amazing hotel. Good food. Beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful staff.
La plage
Le reste et le très mauvais rapport qualité prix
Единственное, что несколько расстроило - это наличие каменюк в воде в правой части пляжа. Остальное - великолепно
Absolutely stunning resort with screensaver worthy views from their gorgeous hillside villas ! We’ve been to Bora Bora, the Maldives, Koi Samui and many other amazing locations and FS Mahe, Seychelles is our new favorite.
We choose to stay in FS Seychelles in February for 7 night vacation. It was one of the most memorable one. Location of the hotel is one of the best on Mahe island. The bay that hotels stays is really incredible! Sand is very great - white and very fine, ocean is with a turquoise color. We stayed in a hilltop ocean villa - perfect choise! Villa was very big having a good pool outside, not appropriate only for a floating breakfast but a deep one you can use really for swimming. We tried all the restaurants and in-villa dining also. All were super cool, there is a very good Steak Shack restaurant, Asian is also great. Service is on a top quality - there is no need to go to reception to arrange your stay, you can clarify everything by their app which is very useful. All people constantly asked you if you need any further help or if you are satisfied with the stay. All of them are more than polite. The team arranged a boat for us to go and seek for other nature treasures on the other islands - very good organization. We were very happy by it. Our flight was late in the evening and we asked for a late check-out. Nevermind, the hotel was full they decide to confirm it and we used our villa until the end of our holiday. Recommend that property for sure!!!
Atendimento excelente, praia muito boa.
Comida cara.
Paradise hotel in each aspect! The beach is the best!
The resort feels extremely private and the view from our villa was breathtaking
Nothing, we liked it all
Best place I have been in my whole life! Villas are stunning, food is amazing, there are several free treats and the staff is incredibly friendly! We loved Valery from the beach spot, but everyone was amazing - in particular the buggy drivers- AMAZING!
The property was in a very good location with very beautiful beach
The property took a deposit with a very big amount, it has been more than 2 months now and they have not refund the amount back to me. Which is very very not professional.
Beautiful location, privacy, space, design and cleanliness. The staff, level of care and service were all excellent.
Nothing.
Very clean, staff are very friendly. The service is outstanding. The provided me with baby bootle warmer and sterilizer and other things, it made my stay more comfortable with my baby.
Very clean, very private and cozy.
Vista e spiaggia natura .
Cibo non al Livello e servizio nei ristoranti scarso . In genere servizio molto al di sotto aspettative visto il costo .
The sky, the ocean, the mountainside layout, and the friendliness of the staff combined for a great 5-day stay. The snorkeling and water access via a stunning powder white sand beach was a highlight. The water was among the brightest blue I've ever seen, and the beach ultra clean and safe. The underwater scene changed throughout the day, but it always felt like being in a magic aquarium. We also enjoyed swimming laps in the 30M pool, which was seldom used by other guests. There was plenty of shade and seating, and frequent attention from the fun and friendly beach staff (kudos to Marita, Edwin, Portia and others who looked after us). The breakfast buffet, service and setting were outstanding. We dined twice in the ZEZ Bar for Indian cuisine and thought it was tasty. Mary Rose was a delightful roving hostess. Housekeeping was flawless, unseen and frequent. We appreciated the kind gestures of wine, fruit, a Thanksgiving desert, tropical iced tea and other amenities that frequently appeared in our room while we were enjoying the beach. The front office team was on professional point and very friendly. We were grateful that James was able to arrange accommodation for us to work around our flight arrival and departure times. He and Mohammed also capably handled a minor facilities issue we experienced in our villa. WhatApp chat made it easy to communicate. We rented a vehicle, which was parked without charge just inside the resort gate, a short buggy ride from the villa. We enjoyed exploring the island and seeing the local residents. The driving was bit daunting sometimes, but we found everything orderly, comfortable and picturesque outside the resort gates. Overall an excellent stay and a reasonable value for the money.
Everything was great, the staff were super friendly. Location is stunning. Food was great as well. the beach is to die for. and overall amazing stay. We had a late flight and they allowed us to keep the room till late in the evening which was incredible.
Çok güzel bir konumda , villaları muhteşem , herşeyi en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüş , buggy hizmeti mükemmel ve çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve çok ilgiliydi .

Absolutely Exceptional – A Perfect Stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Seashells Our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Seashells was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, everything was flawless. Dining was a highlight of our trip: every meal was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The food was simply first-class. Kids Club is amazing! Every Day lots of activities all day long (compliment!!) with lovely Team! The atmosphere by the sea and on the beach was serene and luxurious, and the pool area was spotless and inviting – a perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and always perfectly cleaned by the wonderful housekeeping staff. Every detail at the Four Seasons Hotel Seashells radiates quality and care. It’s rare to find a place where everything – from the service to the setting – is this consistently excellent. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking true luxury, warmth, and perfection in every aspect.
We were just at FS Seychelles for our 10-year wedding anniversary. The property is stunning, we have been to bora bora, anguilla, amalfi coast, etc., and I can confidently say this is probably the most beautiful beach in the world. The room was updated and spectacular, unbelievable views and beautiful furnishings. Amazing small touches, attention to detail, notes in our room about our anniversary, just excellent service all around. Re: service, Laurent at the front desk was an absolute gem. Beach service was great, Humberto and Martina were awesome. Honestly everyone we encountered was so kind and helpful! Re: food, we are from NYC and really appreciate good food (and know the difference.) When we travel, we generally like to leave the hotel to eat the more local, authentic food, at the local spots, but after having a couple of meals at FS we realized their food was so good it didn't make sense to leave! Not your usual boring hotel food (although they have a great club sandwich and fries if that's what you are after) but amazing indian (zez bar), wagyu steak (steak shack), sushi (koi), and of course local creole dishes (kaneel), etc etc. I should also add that we had a hiccup with the room on two of the nights, which could have really tarnished the experience for us. But the managers (mandy and mohammed - "mo") handled it quickly and with such class and grace and made us so impressed with the FS Brand! That is what makes people want to come back! We will definitely be back, this is a really special place!
We stayed at the Four Seasons resort, on the island of Mahe, for 10 days as part of our honeymoon. We opted for the Serenity villa for that extra privacy and we weren’t disappointed. The Four Seasons Beach is the best on the island; soft white sand, palm trees and amazing fish and coral makes for great snorkelling! The villa surpassed our expectations, it was beautiful and we received treats each day from housekeeping. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were super friendly. Big shout out to James, Mervin, David, Hansel, Ian and Basil. The main hotel offered an extensive cuisine which equalled the quality we would expect in London restaurants. Highly recommend this destination for a couples holiday/ honeymoon.
This was our most expensive splurge for our trip to the Seychelles and it was absolutely worth it! Prior to going, I had compared reviews of several different beautiful properties for our splurge including the six senses, Constance, Waldorf Astoria, Anantara and we ended up choosing the Four Seasons because we had amazing experiences with other FS properties. We also saw a review on YouTube that ranked this particular FS property as one of their top 5 in the world. We knew we had to choose it! From the get go, they took note that we didn’t drink alcohol so they gifted us the most delicious non-alcoholic bubblies, along with a cake to celebrate our 7 year anniversary! I also loved the fresh coconut welcome drink they gave us. Every day, they would leave our room with a little snack and surprise message on the bed. This is not the most ‘updated’ Four Season I’ve visited, but I do love how spacious the villas were. We booked the garden villa so we had a beautiful lotus pond as our view. I saw workers cleaning the pond daily of debris. There’s always people making sure the grounds are extremely manicured. We had an amazing pool outside, and some lounging area, but honestly, we spent most of our time at their beautiful on-site beach Petite Anse! I believe we were there during low season (September), but the weather was actually perfect, and the resort wasn’t crowded. The property is very vertical in design due to the granite mountain it’s built on, so you will mostly take buggies to get from place to place. They came quickly whenever we requested for them on WhatsApp. They did let us know that during peak season, it can take up to 15 minutes sometimes to get your buggy ride. We did a group snorkel with the on-site marine biologist and it was so much fun! Out of everywhere we stayed in Seychelles, this particular beach had the best snorkel! We saw a ton of fish and they had told us that people even saw whale sharks out at sea! We tried asking them about any tours that were available for that, but they said there weren’t any particular whale sharks tours. We did a sunset kayak, and it was lovely as the waves were extremely gentle. I normally do get sea sick easily but the way the beach is sheltered, it seems to make that area very calm. Petite Anse also had some of the most soft, white sand there was. It was so powdery and comfortable. There also wasn’t much debris. We thought the chicken sandwich was delicious too. I liked that they gave us water with a cooler bag. However, I wish people came to check up on water service more often. I also did a mat Pilates class, which they said normally would be 8-10 attendees, but mine happened to be just me. The instructor said he kept it easy, but I definitely felt sore the next day. It was a great workout after all the food I ate! It’s also located at the Spa which literally has the most INCREDIBLE view! I wish I had time for a spa treatment! We booked the private residence tour as well, which was AMAZING! It truly inspired us to come back with our family/friends in the future. The house had the most crazy panoramic view. Food was delicious. If you visit Seychelles, you’ll realize that you’re mostly going to have to share food with birds. The Four Seasons clearly understood that, so they have doors to the food buffet areas. This was not the case for some other hotels we went to, and I actually saw birds standing on the waffles at another place. It’s nice to know that I didn’t have to worry about this. However, you still have to guard your food once you get it to the table. The birds are always going to be attracted to the delicious food when you’re in an outdoor space. Just be mindful of that. We also enjoyed the steak shack, both the fish and steak were perfectly cooked. The octopus was super soft too. We loved Zez’s fish and eggplant as well! The dessert was SO delicious. We weren’t planning on it, but the waitress convinced us and we’re glad she did. Lastly, one thing to note: we had to take a cold shower the first night because we were SO impressed by the beauty of their tub, we decided to fill it to relax in first before jumping in the shower. We actually barely filled it to the middle, and started realizing the water was cold already. We thought we would have warm water soon, but after sitting in lukewarm water for about 35 minutes, we couldn’t handle it anymore, and when we messaged them about it, they said it takes at least 45 minutes for the water to heat up again if you run the bath. My issue is that this wasn’t communicated ahead of time. We didn’t get in till 8pm that night, so we were hoping to settle in/eat/ then take a hot bath/nice shower and go to bed. By the time we got in the bath it was almost 11, so I was falling asleep in the lukewarm tub just waiting for water to become hot again, which it took too long. I think the main issue is the design of the bath tub being way too big for practical use. You could probably fit 3-4 adults in there. It looks SO beautiful, and has an incredible view out to the pool etc, but just note the hot water availability issue. Overall, service was great, staff were friendly and on par with other FS properties we’ve been to. We also loved that they had a whole activity calendar for us, which other properties didn’t necessarily have. We can definitely see why this was ranked so highly amongst all the four seasons properties in the world! Highly recommend!
Assitant mangwr muhammed was so coprtive i have four kids ans last moment booking and room not avialble for same he upgrde one villa for us to be near he did great job and he make us comfrtable holday
Spa was ok ok
Les gens ils sont très accueillants et l’établissement il est formidable
J’ai juste pas aimé le restaurant avec la nourriture locale, j’ai trouvé excessivement cher sans un goût. Impressionnant
From the moment we arrived, Four Seasons Seychelles felt like stepping into a dream. Perched high on the hillside above Petite Anse bay, the views alone are worth the trip — turquoise water, soft white sand, and lush green jungle in every direction. The setting is pure Seychelles perfection. Our villa was a private sanctuary with its own infinity pool overlooking the ocean, spacious indoor–outdoor living areas, and thoughtful details that made it feel both luxurious and comfortable. Waking up to those sunrise views each morning was unforgettable. Dining was a highlight, with multiple restaurants offering a mix of Creole flavors, fresh seafood, and international dishes. Breakfast was a feast — from tropical fruits to made-to-order specialties — and dinners at Kannel and Zez were equally memorable. While pricing is in line with a luxury island resort, the quality, presentation, and service made each meal special. The beach at Petite Anse is stunning — calm, swimmable waters and powdery white sand. The resort provides complimentary snorkeling gear, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, so you can enjoy the bay at your own pace. For relaxation, the spa is world-class, offering treatments with panoramic views that make it hard to leave the treatment room. Service was exceptional throughout — warm, polished, and genuinely caring. Every staff member we met seemed genuinely happy to help, from arranging activities to making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect day. While the villas are scattered along a hillside (meaning you’ll rely on buggies for most transportation), the resort’s team runs them efficiently, and waits were always short. Bottom line: Four Seasons Seychelles combines world-class service, spectacular natural beauty, and complete privacy. It’s the kind of place that redefines what a beach holiday can be — a tropical luxury escape you’ll never forget.
We almost cancelled our 3-night reservation at Four Seasons Seychelles on Mahe Island in favour of Anantara Maia or Cheval Blanc due to previous mixed experiences such as Bora Bora and Chiang Rai. Our stay was, however, a nice surprise and reconciled us with Four Seasons. Indeed, we were upgraded to a beautiful hilltop villa with ocean view and special mention for the service: it was extremely attentive and we would like to thank Mary and her entire team for the welcome they provided, which made this stay wonderful.
We visited around 4 weeks ago and we were very satisfied with the service at the Seychelles resort. Mandy Ernesta greeted us . It was a cloudy and rainy day and our spirits were instantly uplifted when we were told that we were upgraded to one of the most beautiful villas on the resort. The villa was exquisite & we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly. The cabby service ran smoothly and all the drivers were efficient & professional. At no point do you feel stranded . The beach is very clean and service at the beds very satisfactory. The boutique had a nice selection yet perhaps could offer more options. This was my second stay at a four seasons resort and will definitely not be my last :)
Dont go you’re not safe! You tend to choose the best first for the view and services but also for the safety of traveling with your belongings without having to worry about any loss. Sad and chocked that it happened in such an iconic hotel chain. I can’t recommend the four seasons as what was supposed to be a beautiful birthday trip ended in a jewelry robbery! I didn’t receive any support from the staff. No follow up nothing.
This is the most incredible hotel. The rooms are amazing, the staff is so genuine and helpful and nice. The food’s great, views cannot be beat. We stayed for our honeymoon and they made us feel like celebrities. 11/10. Shout out to Valerie and Fadilah!!
Four Seasons Seychelles is a stunning property with beautiful scenery and attentive service throughout the stay. Overall, the experience was wonderful — until the very end. What left me disappointed was the billing process upon check-out. Throughout my stay, I signed daily bills where taxes were already clearly included — for example, a 100 EUR meal would show a total of around 120 EUR with taxes, which I found perfectly fair. However, at check-out, I was surprised to see that taxes were added again to the total room charges, resulting in me paying over 1,000 EUR in extra taxes I had technically already paid. This was never communicated in advance, and it felt misleading. I believe a place of this level should be fully transparent with billing — especially when encouraging guests to charge everything to the room. It’s unfortunate to end an otherwise beautiful stay on such a note.

The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Petite Anse, Mahé, felt like home, as always with Four Seasons. The Hilltop Ocean View Villa was stunning—spacious, with a private pool and amazing ocean views. The service was perfect, the staff so kind, and the food at Kannel and ZEZ was delicious, with great kids’ options for our one-year-old. The Petite Anse beach was beautiful, calm, and safe for swimming. Nearby activities like snorkeling and a day trip to Anse Source d’Argent were easy to arrange. The resort felt safe, with attentive staff and a private setting. It was easy to walk to the beach and restaurants in minutes. Every detail, from the comfy beds to the fresh fruit basket, made our week unforgettable.
Mostly The staff , villas and the beach .. staff very helpful .. specially Mohammed sobh he made my stay even better … I will definitely visit again
Nothing
Everything was excelent
To be honest, it started quite bad with lunch at the beach bar where the waitress served the wrong drinks and with a red snapper ceviche that tasted below average and properly cut. But from there, it was a complete success, service in all restaurants and from the assistant was beyond amazing, it is better than most Four Seasons despite being a quite large resort and one may say this Four Seasons has the best service of any Island resort (sorry Aman). Staff really care about what we wanted and the in-room service can accommodate so many options and go the extra mile, including getting some hand picked fresh flowers within 30-40 minutes. The Japanese restaurant, Koi, serves very high quality Japanese sushi, the local red snapper nigiri or sashimi is a must order. Special thank you to James who, as a Four Seasons veteran, really took time to get our feedback and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Special thank you to Nuwan for his fitness session, painful but worth it. The only improvements we can suggest are: -to systematically provide the cleaning service and turn down service when guests are out for breakfast or lunch or dinner especially when the assistant and restaurant know when the guests have reservations and leave their rooms. -have cocktail drinks more consistent across the resort, we had more than 8 Mahe Mai Tais, which taste very good, but a few of them had a complete different taste. Thank you to all the staff at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, you are the best. Looking forward to coming back soon.
The property was well kept, the beach was phenomenal, everything was perfect. The managers at the hotel were also very attentive and always asked us for any assistance
The food isn’t the best to be honest, the pizza from room service seemed frozen, the staff at the restaurant were also slow but I understand this is an island and people here are in no rush and stress
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ashraf, the Assistant Resort Manager, who welcomed us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was exceptional. I have never encountered a manager as dedicated and gracious as him; he was always present to anticipate and fulfill our every need with remarkable professionalism and genuine hospitality My stay at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Mahé was truly unforgettable in every way! This resort is a perfect blend of natural beauty and refined luxury, from the pristine white sandy beaches and turquoise waters to the serene atmosphere that calms the soul Every aspect of the resort was outstanding: the elegant rooms with breathtaking views, the excellent services, the delicious cuisine at the diverse restaurants, and the meticulous cleanliness that made us feel completely at home. The entire team was incredibly friendly and respectful, always making sure we were comfortable and happy. In short, if you’re seeking ultimate luxury, attention to detail, and the true spirit of hospitality, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Mahé is the place to be. Once again, I thank Mr. Ashraf for his wonderful efforts and look forward to returning soon to experience more magical moments in this paradise on earth! 🌴✨
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in May 2025 in a top hill villa. First of all, I would like to say that the resort is located above one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Mahe. The villa is very spacious and well-equipped and offers a perfect view of the sea from every side. The villa has a private pool. The hotel staff was very helpful and did everything to make our celebration perfect. The service was very personal and pleasant. Mohamad, James, Victoria & Eros took special care of us, who provided service above and beyond. The breakfast was varied and perfect. We ate dinner at the various restaurants in the resort. We had a couples massage at the spa located at the top of the resort with a mesmerizing view of the sea from the top of the mountain. Three perfect nights of rest in which we did not leave the amazing resort.
This hotel is amazing! You're on the mountain side high up! The views are awesome. We enjoyed our pool too. We had a great time down at the beach as well. There are many amenities. Everything is pretty expensive so it was a splurge for us! But we really enjoyed it.
Our experience at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles was pure enchantment from start to finish. The moment we arrived, greeted by the shimmering blues of the Indian Ocean, we knew we were somewhere truly extraordinary. Tucked into the hillside, our villa was a sanctuary of tropical luxury - surrounded by dense greenery and crowned with a private pool that quickly became our go-to spot for peaceful afternoons and late-night swims under the stars. Breakfasts at Zez became an early-morning ritual we genuinely looked forward to. Chef Melissa’s perfect omlet was a standout dish we’re still thinking about, and every morning was brightened by the warm hospitality of Marissa and Edwina, who made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A special mention to Luxmi and Audy at the front desk - both of whom infused our arrival and departure with heartfelt kindness, making transitions feel seamless and personal. Down at the beach, Valerie took wonderful care of us, making our time at the resort’s most iconic spot feel extra pampered. Evenings at Zez Bar were always a treat, especially thanks to Damian. His thoughtful service and expertly mixed cocktails added just the right touch to our nights. And our experience wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging Pip from Ocean Wise - her insights and passion brought depth to our connection with the island and its marine life.
Can’t find a words to describe how excited we are about this resort! From the moment we arrived , wonderful staff made us feel like a celebrity! Beautiful nature, delicious food, amazing villa and views over the ocean, private beach ( it’s not actually private but felt empty) , soft white sand - I can’t find even one fault! I’ve stayed few years ago in Four seasons Bora Bora, so impressive too, I didn’t expect the Seychelles sister could reach that level - but I was wrong. This hotel is level up compared to Bora Bora because of stuff/ services. We always had problems in Bora Bora with buggy- that’s why I initially doubt our top hill location. Here in Seychelles the maximum waiting time for buggy was 5 minutes… It’s a big resort , but you can rely on buggy service and stay in highest point- will be no problem with moving between the facilities… Another detail I must mention is the price. Yes it’s high but. We arrived to check in at 8:00 AM . Ok we said, we wait on the beach till afternoon, as official check in time is 3 PM. To our surprise, our villa was ready, and we were offered the breakfast- ALL FREE OF CHARGE! On our last day we wouldn’t have plane back to Dubai till midnight- we were offered extremely good discount for late check out! Honestly- I felt like I should have paid more…. We were so impressed by everything, attention to every small detail, genuinely welcoming attentive people, sorry I didn’t keep any of staff names , but want to say special thanks and big Bravo to each one of them! Thank you Four seasons Seychelles Mahe- we will be back!
Not much to be honest.
It felt quite over-priced for what it offered. The food was also not up to expectation, both in terms of variety as well as quality. The room was not spacious enough. Finally, the picture taken at the check-in was, to say the least, sad.
Property well maintained and excellent, very clean and well managed! Staff of course amazing, Bebo,Hamza, and Mahdi to name a few plus many others were amazing and very hospitable. Resort manger was amazing and gave us an upgrade without us asking, overall amazing experience!
I would have wished they had baristas to make real coffee as I am not a fan of Nespresso, other than that I would say everything else was excellent!
