Vilar do Golf

Great in every way

Excellent every level 10/10

nothing

Apartamento impecável. Camas ótimas.

The location within Quinta do Lago was excellent, with beautifully maintained surroundings. The reception staff were super attentive and helpful, responding immediately when we called about an ant infestation and resolving it right away. Great pool area with 3 swimming pools.

The rented apartment itself was dated and needed urgent repairs — a leaking/damaged shower tap, stained sheets on arrival, heavy dirt and stains on the kitchen curtain, and a ripped towel. We raised this with reception on departure, and they said they would address it with the property owner. The food and drinks at the poolside restaurant were awful and barely edible, and despite the high prices, we left most of it untouched. Other guests around us were making the same complaints.

Beautiful large apartment. Lovely pool. Good restaurants

Room was clean tidy and very modern and met all of our expectations with more than enough amenities in the room, beds were very comfy, great air con

Phone didn’t work in room, had quite a lot of ants and no staff to take bags all the way to our villa and collect them on check out so had to lug them all the way up the hill and the road.

Good value, location and pool

Ants everywhere

We enjoyed being at this resort, excellent apartment with a large balcony with lay outs which we enjoyed. The restaurant options were excellent in particular Il Viero which had a great ambience overlooking the golf course . The swimming pool complex was very good , clean with plenty of beds… not sure hiring towels is the way for the otherwise excellent resort.

Hiring towels

Duur in verhouding..

A localização, a paz envolvente, a facilidade de serviços e a simpatia do serviço

Amazing facilities, pools, kids club etc. was all fab!

Had a few issues with ants during my stay. Staff were prompt to help but obviously would have preferred no issue at all.

Foi uma boa estadia

Nada a reclamar

Great location and facilities

Proximity to the golf courses and nearby restaurants, bars , facilities etc

Casa bem apetrechada e bem decorada. vegetação linda e bem cuidada.

Check out as 10am.

Great location and facilities and fantastic staff

Noting to not like

Stunning location, very peaceful surroundings, nice pool.

The villa was outdated. When we checked in, we found dirty stained sofas, walls and the oven was broken.

Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, the 3 bed apartment was spacious and ideal for our family needs. Excellent location in the middle of Quinta.

Nothing - all in line with expectations

Spotlessly clean, very peaceful

Unfortunately we had dreadful service in the Italian restaurant on site, not owned by Vilar Do Golf, yet reasonable to expect good quality service.

Limpeza do apartamento. Havia baratas, papéis no chão

The facilities in terms of the pool where really nice and the bar area.

The accommodation was very tired and was way beyond due for an upgrade. I had been warned about this after I had booked the accommodation I did request for an upgraded, but that didn't happen. I did ask reception about my request and he was not interested and no help at all.

Not as it seems had cockroaches and very old

Old and not good

the staff in Il Vero and the pool bar were very nice.

Here's a draft for your Booking.com review. It's blunt and uses "theft" as you wanted, but be aware Booking.com's moderation may flag or remove reviews using unproven legal accusations — if that happens, the softened version further down is a fallback that's harder to pull. Villa do Golfe and Booking.com — AVOID. Charged for rooms I never booked, still unrefunded weeks later. I booked 2 rooms through Booking.com, confirmed clearly in the app. On arrival, Villa do Golfe told me I'd booked and paid for 4. When I showed them my booking confirmation and said this was their error, staff refused to even look into it and just told me to "contact Booking.com." I did — Booking.com immediately admitted the fault: 4 rooms had been incorrectly booked and charged to me. That was weeks ago. I am still waiting for a refund. Every time I follow up, Booking.com and Villa do Golfe each point at the other and nothing gets resolved. Two rooms' worth of my money has effectively been taken and neither party will act to give it back. This is theft, plain and simple, and the worst customer service I've experienced from either a property or Booking.com itself. Do not trust this property, and do not assume Booking.com will protect you if something goes wrong — get everything in writing and be prepared to fight for your own money.

Everything

Localização, tranquilidade, decoração e conforto do apartamento,

the aircon

the fact YOU have charged me doube what I owed for 2 rooms i never booked. Neither booking.com or YOU have reimbursed me yet and this is THEFT.

Location and staff

The house was below our expectations as we had previously booked Vilar do golf and stayed in a very nice house

Clean spacious comfortable beds

Nothing

Boa localização, conforto e ambiente calmo.

Great location and great staff and great rooms. I also got an upgrade without asking.

Nothing

Carlos in reception. Excellent.

Great location. Very comfortable. Loved the one night we spent there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facilities. Great location .. Superb golf course!!

Not much… Maybe more selection in the supermarket, but that’s being critical.

Localização e a cama

Fantastic location, facilities were good, apartment was really nice, onsite shop was well stocked, friendly and helpful staff and the onsite cafe was also really good.

We traveled in April and so they said it was too early in the season to open the pool bar which was disappointing. We have stayed in the accommodation close by and the pool bar is open all year round.

Spacious Villa bright and airy good facilities very comfortable beds and the sofa bed was comfortable too

Nice views quiet and nice gardens

Location superb. Great facilities within complex

Pool bar service very slow

great facilities

nothing

Location is excellent and facilities perfect.

3 bed apartments are perfect and clean but a little bit dated.

Great villas, really well set out and superb location. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Pool isn’t heated so definitely on the fresh side!

The front desk staff were obsessed with checking in and out times! They wanted us to pay an extra amount to have our room two hours early even though the room was ready but then they wouldn’t release the WiFi code until the correct check in time. Then we got a curt phone call as we checked out 15 mins late asking whether we had paid for a late check out! It was really unnecessary.

Location The pool is excellent

As per all previous visits to Vilar do Golf, the property was beautifully clean, comes with everything you need and is really spacious. It is perfectly located so you can access the main amenities within a few minutes!

Some of the pathways and steps around the resort area itself are tricky in parts.

Amazing location. Staff were extremely helpful and responsive which was a standout for us! Great pool facilities.

Staff were very friendly

Piscinas

A limpeza.

Clean fresh and comfortable

Nothing

Very clean and spacious

Hele mooie grote villa.

Comfort. Compleet uitgerust. Lekkere bedden.

Ongezellige verlichting huiskamer

Gorgeous little houses , lovely family holiday

Loved Noa for breakfast. Staff were so helpful

Would have loved clean towels each day

The propriety was great. Newly refurbed and lovely and clean and fresh.

Outdoor pool needed heating as too cold for the children in April

Beau domaine, calme, belles piscines Le logement était parfait, literie très confortable

Amazing facilities on site

Few ants in room

Location very good. Nicely refurbished bathrooms. Kitchen very well equipped.

The sofa

Beautiful villa - great location for a relaxing week. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor area

Nothing

Vilas be equipadas e confortáveis.

Good facilities, very friendly staff. Very good restaurant on site and useful supermarket. Enjoying time with friends. Weather was great.

Indoor pool was cold due to malfunction. Used the Patang court but it was overgrown with weeds and my wife got quite a few insect bites on her legs. Not all facilities were open (eg around outdoor pool) probably due to low season!

Great facilities, good location and overall lovely.

Map directions were a little crazy to get there but otherwise all good

We stayed in a two bedroom premium apartment with family and the size and comfort is very good. Vilar do Golf is in a prime location with lots of services nearby and beach. Prefect for families.

Unfortunately the indoor pool wasn’t hot this time and I believe the check out time is very early (10am).
