Golden City Hotel Dongdaemun

整个酒店是比较老旧，还算很整洁。电梯还算快捷。

前台沟通比较公式化。不够主动。设备比较老旧。床比较硬。周边的商业街比较远。

Beds were comfortable, room (without extra bed) was spacious enough.

The hotel didn't fulfill our reservations correctly. We had to move rooms twice as a result. They did compensate us for the inconvenience by adding a complementary breakfast. But when we moved the second time the toilet was not perfectly clean. Not filthy, but definitely not pristine. The hotel admitted the mistake was theirs. I just hope they do a better job of syncing with Booking.com. I believe our stay would have been close to perfect if they fulfilled the reservations in the first place. The hotel said they would refund us the cost of one room for one night. But then Booking.com says the hotel has not yet responded to the request for a refund. So what gives? The hotel isn't responding to their own request? I just hope this is the last I have to say on this matter.

Good location - close to the metro station and bus stop, with shops and reistaurants nearby. The staff helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. The room had everything needed, including soap, shampoo, a fridge, daily fresh towels, and complimentary bottled water.

The hotel is located on a busy street, and in my room the window did not close completely, so I could hear all the noise from outside and felt almost like I was sleeping on the street. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms, even sounds like people taking showers. The room was not clean - there was a lot of dust, stains on the walls and curtains, and mold in the bathroom. The shower has no separation from the rest of the bathroom, so the entire bathroom gets wet after taking a shower.

직원들 친절합니다. 오래된 느낌은 있지만 청결하게 잘 유지되고 있었습니다. 외국인들이 많은 것 같지만 생각보다 조용했고 좋았습니다.

아쉬운 점은 그닥 없습니다. 비용대비 아주 훌륭하다고 판단 됩니다.

L'accueil en général. Sur tout le staff , il y a que 2 personnes qui étaient à peu près serviable mais le dernier jour on dirait qu'ils nous évitaient . En tout cas c'était ce que je ressens Je pense que cet hôtel n'a pas besoin de clients car ça brasse énormément dans cet établissement

We konden helaas geen kamer met 1 bed krijgen en voor extra kussens moesten we betalen.

I had a pleasant stay at Golden City Hotel Dongdaemun. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore Seoul. The staff were polite and very helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a good choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort at a reasonable price.

コンビニが横にあるので夜も快適に過ごせますが、上の階の足音が聞こえたり水が流れるような音が聞こえるので気になりました。 その他は、韓国ならではの風呂場でトイレも流せます。あとは、フロントの方が優しくて服のタグを切ってくれたり翻訳機を使って丁寧に会話してくださったり優しくて良かったです。駅も近い。治安もそんなに悪くないです。

It is a no-frills property. And that's fine.However, they do need to include a shower curtain in their bathrooms. Also I did not like that we had to provide a deposit for an additional room card, as only one card was issued per room.

Hotel only has 2 lifts which is a long wait in the morning. Rooms are small and narrow. Toilet bowl does not have bidet spray. Hotel nearby have numerous eateries, minimart and Olive Young. Breakfast is at Basement 1 which start only at 7am serving basic buffet breakfast.

The hotel was very convenient to the metro with a good selection of restaurants nearby. The bath was not very clean and it would help if the toilets were outfitted with bidet because we could not flush toilet paper

오랜만에 장한평역에 볼일이 생겨서 역에서 가까운 숙소를 찾던중 가격이 저렴해서 골랐습니다. 전반적으로 나쁘진 않지만 시설이 아주 오래되었고 흔한 호텔 가운이나 파자마도 없고 어매니티도 유료라고 합니다. 샴푸 린스 바디워시 핸드솝이랑 타월만 제공됩니다~ 화장실에 샤워부스가 없어서 신기했어요. 그래도 생수는 3병이나 냉장고 안에 시원하게 있어서 좋았네요. 1층에 큰 씨유가 있어서 더더욱 편리했고 티비로 넷플릭스 이용이 가능한점이 가장 좋았어요. 에어컨도 시원했습니다. 하지만 침대랑 베개가 너무 불편했습니다. 여러 호텔을 다녀봤지만 자고 일어나서 등이 저리고 아파서 고생한건 처음이네요. 딱 가격만큼의 숙소라고 생각하시면 됩니다.

do yourself a favor and don't go to this hotel, especially if you are a westerner, the hotel has a bit of a racist attitude towards westerners, I was verbally attacked by an employee because I was smoking outside in an unrelated area without a "no smoking" sign, and I called the police because he was very threatening and the reception and the night manager did nothing when they told us: "you are not Korean shut your mouth".

Other guests were too loud late in the evening, the hotel rooms are not soundproof. They only cleaned the room and replaced towels, if we asked for it the previous day. In the morning it was too late to ask.

綺麗でした。少し移動しないとソンスやトンデムンには行けなかったです 日本語対応可能な方がいたので助かりました

Es hat mir hier sehr gut gefallen, das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Das Personal jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die UBahnstation, Cafés und kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind alle direkt in der Nähe. Mein Ausblick war sehr schön und ich werde mit Sicherheit wieder hier buchen.

Property is old and run down. They did not clean our room during our stay I had to ask. Although I don’t think they clean at all. Hair was everywhere, stained sheets. If could’ve booked another hotel and taken the financial loss I would’ve.

아주 좋았읍니다 이 가격대에 이만큼 만족스럽게 지내다 갑니다.

수돗물의 질질거려서 사용하는데 불편하였고, 샤워용 헤드가 고정이 되지 않아 샤워하는데 많이 불편하였습니다.

침대놓인 위치가 너무 이상. 티비가 벽옆에 있고 분위기가 너무 우울해서 다신 안가려고 들어왔다가 후기남깁니다.

Good hotel, bit out of the centre but near a metro station.

Spent three nights at hotel golden seoul as a group tour of 38 persons. Place is nice cozy with helping staff. Rooms are on high floor like 12 & 13 hi ing a nice view of city. Bath and other aminities are good. Nice spread for breakfast where one has to que during morning rush hour.good and spacious lobby where we generally sit.

The room wasn’t very large, but it was still very comfortable with enough space. Everything was clean. The location was very close to the metro station and it was really convenient for us to move from one point to another. The staff also was always friendly and helpful.

청결상태는 좀 불만. 실내 가구도 낡고 쓸모가 그닥. 하지만 저렴한 가격이 일 모두 상쇄.

clean and easily accessible by train

this area is quiet at night. if you’re youngster you get so bored but it close to palaces and gangnam so it’s your choice

The room is not very sound proof. We can hear loud noises coming from other rooms (was quite noisy during midnight). The room is a quite small for 3 people (there are not enough space to put luggages)
