Café da manhã simples e não oferece nenhuma atividade turística ou transfer para centro da cidade.

Localização, limpeza

Muito barulho, dá para escutar cada passo que os outros hóspedes dão. Estamos em período de copa e a TV do quarto não funciona nenhum canal onde possa assistir, na verdade só tem canais locais da região, ou seja Brasileiro não entende nada. A grande maioria dos Hóspedes são Brasileiros e o esforço para comunicação é zero.

Tudo muito limpo, organizado e quarto aconchegante, com aquecedores que não deixam ninguém passar frio. Equipe querida e atenciosa.

Dou nota 9/10 porque o café da manhã poderia ter mais variedade, mas ainda assim é bom

The Altos Ushuaia resort is at the outskirts of Ushuaia at the road up the mountain. From there one has a very nice view over the bay and the city, but for me was far too far away from the heart of the city with bars, shops and restaurants, also since the hotel restaurant had limited choices for dinner. The hotel is a quite dated, and a renovation near-term would not harm. But the room was clean and o.k. for a short stay.

I booked online (about 1/2 hour before we turned up), and there was no record of it. It took a while before it was all sorted

El desayuno todo muy bien, aunque podría haber estado un poco mas completo a mi gusto. Las vistas del desayunador y restaurante son hermosas! Y espacios comunes agradables y con hermosas vistas.

Nada en particular, la estadía estuvo muy bien.

A vista é incrível. O Hotel é muito limpo, e os quartos tem ótimo sinal de internet. Os funcionários são extremamente solícitos e educados! O hotel fica um pouco afastado do centro, o que é bom para quem busca um lugar um pouco mais calmo e silencioso. Nada que um Uber ou Táxi não resolva (Uber funciona muito bem na cidade).

A acústica dos quartos deixa a desejar. Você escuta absolutamente tudo que acontece e falam no quarto ao lado. Isso foi um pouco desconfortável.

We stayed on the 25th of December (Christmas), the restaurant wasn’t working. There was no kettle in the room, so to get any hot water, you had to go to the bar. The room was old and untidy, wasn’t comfortable at all. The breakfast was poor. I wouldn’t recommend for this value of money (

The room was a little small but otherwise quite nice.

The hotel itself is nice with nice seating areas and a pretty dining room. But our room which was facing the harbour did not have a/c or a window that can stay open even when it rains to allow air flow. Also the hotel is up a steep hill with no local restaurants or cafes nearby. So we had to get a taxi into town which costs money and adds up.

O hotel é muito bonito. A localização não ajuda muito, mas também tem o lado positivo, pois traz uma vista incrível. A higiene é bem boa, e as instalações também. Mas a parte da alimentação deixa muito a desejar, e não tem nada a ver com a estrutura do hotel. O café da manhã tem poucas opções. Na parte salgada, é servido ovos mexidos, e embutidos como salame, presunto e mussarela. E a parte salgada é apenas isso. Os doces também deixam muito a desejar. A parte do menu do restaurante, da mesma forma, poucas opções. Enfim, a parte da alimentação é bem fraca.

Ausstattung insgesamt Abnutzungsspuren. Personal freundlich Heizkörper vorhanden und funktionsfähig. Aufzug vorhanden.

Auf dem Informationsblatt im Zimmer steht das Cafe im Haus von 10-19 Uhr geöffnet ist. Als wir unten waren um einen Kaffee zu bekommen, sagte man uns die Person die, die Kaffemaschine bedienen kann, kommt so zwischen 15 oder 16 Uhr. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte uns etwas enttäuscht, weil bei dem Preis pro Nacht hätten wir mehr erwartet.

El restaurante. La carta de opciones regular. Mala atencion. Tuvimos una espera de 40 minutos para realizar el pedido y luego nos informaron que habian perdido nuestra comanda. Nos fuimos a cenar a otro lugar. No cumple con las normas basicas de vestimenta de los comenzales. Muebleria antigua y desgastada.

Está muy bonito pero el personal del desayuno es muy grosero, deberían de meter más variedad a un buffet o al menos cambiarlo por días

Limpeza, gentileza dos funcionários, comida sensacional. Nao temos uma coisa para reclamar desse lugar. Foi perfeito. Ficando no alto de ushuaia, sempre tem neve no chao (dias depois que neva). Super recomendamos!!!!!

Incrível hotel, muito confortável, limpo, com uma vista linda, numa região que quase sempre estará com neve no inverno, a cidade inteira secou e lá era o único lugar da cidade (além das montanhas) que tinha neve. Único ponto negativo era o café da manhã, que era bem fraco, com poucas opções. Pão, presunto, queijo, ovos, uns biscoitos e quitutes medianos e só.

Clean, comfortable, warm, beatufiful view, overall very good for the price.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, but the brewed coffee was terrible. The espresso machine was far better. The rooms can use a little maintenance; lighting in the bathroom could be much better!

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is very nice and helpful. We had a superior room at the end of the hall that sleeps 3, so we had plenty of room to unpack our luggage. The hotel has a nice view of the channel. However, it's a taxi ride into town and back, so that limited our options somewhat. We elected to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was nice but nothing really special. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. The espresso machine dispensed great coffee; the brewed coffee offered with the buffet breakfast was awful. It looks like the rooms could use a little upgrading; the floor in our room was deteriorated. Also, the bathroom lighting was terrible. This is a good hotel for one night (our case), but we would not recommend for a stay of several nights.

it’s about a 20 minute walk to the city center where the touristy shopping & activities are, but Uber is easy. Also I hope they will consider switching the glass cups in the bathroom to plastic cups in case a person accidentally knocks one on the floor. bare feet & glass shards are a bad combination.

The hotel was extremely over priced and we had a terrible experience. The walls were paper thin and every noise was super loud. Every morning we were woken up at 7 by breakfast noises. And the noise from the restaurant lasted until 11pm. One day they shut off our hot water with no warning. When we called, it took 2 hours to get it back on and after it was brown water. They told us that was normal and wouldn't do anything about it. The hotel is very far from everything and they don't allow you to bring food into the rooms. So you either have to drive back into town for food or eat at their restaurant. The restaurant was fine, but the breakfast was terrible. Everything was dried out and cold. When we complained about not having water and the noise, we were told the room was non refundable, so they would do nothing to compensate us. Save yourself hassle, money, and stress and stay somewhere else.

I would like to have the lobby living room open to have space to rest after skiing.

The staff speaks very loud in the morning while you are still asleep. They wake you up with their noise

The location is a 30-minute walk from the city center. The view is great, but that is about it. The room was spacious but very outdated and could use an upgrade. The breakfast is very boring, mostly cakes. There are toast, but no toaster. However, if you ask the staff, they can toast it for you. It could easily be improved. We had dinner one night, it was mediocre.

the hotel is on the outskirts of the town (10 mins taxi drive from the center) on the side of the mountain ( hence the great views over the Ushuaia bay) walk down is a nice 25 mins stroll, going back it is better to hail a cab/Uber ( easily done) staff is friendly and rooms are large ( not particularly modern) breakfast could be improved in both quality and choice

Hotel velho, cansado, ultrapassado, sem nada para fazer, muito mal localizado, mas o pior mesmo era o blackout inexistente, vc era obrigado a acordar cedo, o quarto também era muito quente, não possui ar condicionado, enfim jamais voltaria.

The view of the city and bay is amazing. The hotel is away from the city and doesn’t offer local restaurants and shopping unless you take a taxi into town.

This is a fantastic little hotel with fabulous views over the beagle channel. It has a outdoor hot tub and a very nice bar and restaurant. It is walkable from the city if you are fit enough for the hike back up. The staff are friendly and the rooms spacious and well appointed.

Experiência excelente!!!!!!! O atendimento foi top, desde o check-in, passando pelo conforto do quarto e a educação dos atendentes. Bastante solicitos. A localização proporciona uma vista panorâmica da cidade, tanto no café da manhã quanto no anoitecer. Há que se destacar também os serviços de chamada de táxi e o do restaurante. Excelente comida!!!!!!

O hotel é bem confortável, quarto amplo e linda vista. Café da manhã com opções variadas, incluindo diversos itens da culinária local. No entanto o hotel é longe do centro e precisa de táxi (embora não seja caro). O atendimento necessita de melhorias, o check in carece de informações necessárias quanto ao horário do café, uso do restaurante e comunicação com a recepção, o ideal seria algo por escrito. O restaurante do hotel precisa de reserva (mesmo para quem é hóspede) e tem um menu com poucas opções.

We had a room on a high floor with views over the Beagle Channel - the view was stunning!!! The room was massive. Breakfasts were OK. Not the best, but adequate. It was a lovely hotel. In terms of location it's quite a hike up a hill from the town centre, or a quick taxi ride. It was worth it though just to have those amazing views.

Great rooms high up the hill overlooking the city and waterfront. Terrific staff. Just be aware if you want to walk downtown it’s about a 30 minute walk with steep uphill on the return.

Ótima experiência. Sugiro que o restaurante fique aberto para jantar até mais tarde em função dos passeios e retornos ao hotel. Fica somente até 22h para jantar. No mais tudo ótimo!

Hotel mto bonito , com bom café da manhã , atendimento mto bom dos atendentes . Vista maravilhosa do lago . O hotel fica longinho do centrinho . Ou vc pega táxi ou caminha pelo menos 20 minutos ou mais . Minha sugestão que o hotel passe a ter transfer para os hóspedes .

Very OK hotel. The staff is nice and the views are amazing. The breakfast was terrible however. The rooms have paper thin walls so you will hear everything from your neighbors.

הזמנו ג'וניור סוויטה, קיבלנו חדר רגיל רק גדול , לא גדול במיוחד, עם מרפסת. המיטה נוחה מאוד, נוף מהמם, אך המלון רחוק והשרות ממש בינוני מינוס, במחיר גבוהה יחסית

The hotel afforded fantastic views across the Beagle Channel and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff on reception were helpful in booking taxis to take us into town. We walked on our first day but felt the long trek uphill back to the hotel was a task too far!!!!! The staff in the restaurant were extremely welcoming and very attentive.

Great little hidden gem hotel. Beautiful view from the hotel room, nice breakfast. very close to viewpoint. It is 5-10 mins drive up the hill from the city centre, we had no problem as we had a car hired. It was great to avoid crowded city centre, but still enjoyed everything from short drive.

O hotel é muito bom e tem uma vista incrível. Café manhã completo. Limpo. Ótimo quarto. Saguão muito bonito. Restaurante com uma vista sensacional. O garçom Alejandro é muito gente boa. O único inconveniente que vocês vão encontrar é que é praticamente impossível ir ao centro da cidade (Av. San Martin) a pé. Vocês terão que pegar taxi, que é barato, cerca de 130,00 pesos (vinte reais) para ir e o mesmo para voltar. Mas, mesmo assim, compensa pela vista maravilhosa das montanhas, da cidade e do canal do Beagle, pois o hotel fica no alto de uma colina. Recomendo a todos.

Going to Ushuaia was an incredible experience! We had a hard time choosing a hotel, but we wanted something with a view, and the Altos delivered! We had a huge room with our bed, a desk area, a couch, a balcony, and lots of space. The views over the Beagle Channel were fantastic, and I got great pics of sunrise! Also, it was one of the best breakfasts we had. There was limited selection, like all of our hotels in Patagonia, but it was the best of them. The eggs were tasty (many hotels in Argentina that provide breakfast do not provide eggs), the cookies were delicious, and there was a modest selection of pastries and cereals. The staff was very helpful. Our flight was late, so they helped us arrange a trip out to Tierra Del Fuego National Park even though it was afternoon when we arrived. It took the woman at the front desk a lot of calls to organize, and we are so appreciative that she did! The only real downside to the hotel is that it is a ways out of town. We chose the hotel because of this, since it is up the hill and has a nice view, but if you want a hotel that you can easily walk to restaurants, museums, etc., then this is not the hotel for you.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It's a little bit out of the central business district but the view makes the trip worth it! The hotel helped me make last minute plans which made my trip all the more enjoyable. I would stay here again.

Hotel is nice but location is not. It is away from the downtown area and other eateries. The hotel staff was not as accommodating. There were no basic amneties like water, coffee/hot water in the room. When asked if we can get some hot water or coffee delivered to the room, they basically said No.

Hotel is about 30 minutes walk from town center. Breakfast is mediocre. Biggest problem is that big nights I stayed there I had to remind them to turn on the heat to the 3rd floor otherwise I had a freezing cold room.
