Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina

Ok

Why are there no fans in the Loft restaurant. It is HOT there and we are bewildered that there are no fans.

Great experience. The entire staff at the Blue Lagoon were very friendly and polite. Thank you for the great hospitality. The air conditioning in the room worked great. Great size kitchen area for all your reheating or storing needs. I think the only negative thing I can say was the water pressure wasn’t always full. But that’s it. When we needed travel off the property. The outstanding front desk STAFF help you situate that, The driver comes and you pay.

Clean room. Beach acces friendly staff

Probably the best option near Canash beach, with docks, mini market and dining facilities.

Excellent hotel

For a marina hotel, very quiet. Good ambiance, lovely view of the ocean. Rooms and other areas could use a little refresher but nice and comfortable. Staff very warm and made us feel at home. Food was excellent, five stars. Enjoyed the pool facilities.

I was extremely pleased with every personnel I came in contact with from the front desk to security to housekeeping. Every contact was out of the way friendly and helpful. Front desk was beyond hospitable. Room was well cleaned. Would definitely stay here again. My concern about cleanliness actually pertained to the entry way to the beach which I know the hotel doesn't own but perhaps could help the city with maintenance since some guests may want to access it..

The security staff were outstanding. They made us feel safe and were super friendly. The food in the restaurant was tasty and well presented. The in room amenities were excellent. We were kindly upgraded which gave us access to a small kitchenette. Our room

Great staff, restaurant was great , clean room, comfortable bed.

Nice harbor hotel , great staff, nice room and the sister hotel plantation house stunning. Dont expect full entertainment. This is a place where you enjoy luxury in a very peaceful surrounding. Really beautiful properties. As a hotelier myself i have to say sweet very friendly staff, great food but logistic training is missing, efficiency as there is far to much staff in the restaurant in low season but again if it fits the company in turnover no need to let them go and keep structure alive as long they are aware that they have then a great boss then.

The restaurant was really good (breakfast was amazing), the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the overall cleanliness of the property was good. Unfortunately my room had more bugs than I would have liked crawling on the walls and there was marijuana found in one of the nightstands (more than a handful). I stayed in the room with my young children and if one of them found it, it could have been dangerous for them!

The marina is great The black beach is great Sunset dreamy Restaurant, ice cream bar , and grocery store at premise

Another fantastic stay at Blue Lagoon! I love everything about it, however the staff are the biggest asset to this hotel. Everyone is so pleasant and friendly, and they take the time to speak with you and make sure that you're alright. Thank you all so much for making us feel at home 🙂

Stay here fairly often, its our go to stop over on St Vincent before catching ferry. Rooms modern and clean, fresh crisp white bed linen and towels. Lovely position looking over marina. Great restaurant serving fresh delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

on the waters edge

We love the vibe and the friendliness of the staff

The views from the restaurants and our room were lovely. The staff was friendly and professional. We were there 9 days and enjoyed it immensely.

Nice view of the marina

Clean room, bery convenient and quite. Very well positioned for travel around the island. Cons: low water pressure in the room, no fridge. Very good value for money

Second stay at the Blue Lagoon and really enjoyed it. Great view and fun to watch the boats in the marina.

Location

Very nice place !

It was good stay. Only few recommendations are ATM machine in the site helpful. At least small store fresh fruits/simple vegetables like carrots, cucumber etc. May feel more fresh if coconut water availability in the site. For balcony(Sit out place) rooms should have door mesh to avoid mosquitoes coming inside the room. OTher than these ITems everything was good. Thank you

The hotel was convenient but pricey relative to the quality. Some services like boat rental were not available, food options were limited and expensive, free drink wasn’t good. Late check out is not offered and check out time at 11am is early considering check in time at 3pm.

Great food. So convenient to get on catamarans. Nice pool.

Our last night on the island was spent here in expectation to finish our trip with nothing to worry about. The grounds were beautiful, the staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. The facility was in need of repair. The amount of mosquitoes that converged on the inside of our room was uncountable. We discovered this in the morning when we awoke to the swarm. We’d been on the island for 8 days at this point and hadn’t experienced any mosquitoes or sand flies. We attributed the infestation to ill-fitting doors to the room, both having quite a bit of daylight visible.

The food was not delicious at all. Need to put a lot of love into the food

Lovely rooms , nice staff , food good in the restaurant and another couple of restaurants within walking distance .

Really nice location. Very friendly reception staff. Room was beautiful, very well appointed with mini kitchen, full size fridge/freezer. Small supermarket on site which was great. Several dining options all of which were very good. Pool area is nice with several shaded options to hang out. Would highly recommend.

Buzzy marina - very friendly staff

Very pleasant place to stop for a night on our way to Bequia.

Beautifully appointed room, very clean and wonderful views over the marina. Food at the restaurant was delicious and staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Coming off a sailing trip, I had to spend 24 hours in St Vincent. I am used to the Caribbean and the Blue Lagoon was a very nice locally run hotel. It had a coffee shop, proper restaurant, a separate outdoor bar where locals and boaters frequented, a convenience store, swimming pool, marina, and swimming pool. The room was air-conditioned and clean. Nice views - I would definitely return.

Lovely

Had a beach view room. Was right at the water. Room was better than expected. Friendly staff who. Went out of their way to make you feel welcome and were very helpful. I would stay here again when traveling to St Vincent.

The rooms were nice and clean. The service at the restaurants was slower than slow

Lovely place. View of the lagoon from the room was a plus. The nearest beach is nice but the sand is dark so if you are looking for white sand and clear waters you should go to another beach. Recommend Bequia in the grenadines. The staff is lovely and very helpful but very overworked. They are understaffed and could use more help. I would go back for sure.

Beautiful clean room over looking the Marina. Staff were excellent. Several options for food and drink, pool was very good.

Lovely views! I loved staying here and seeing all the boats. The restaurant downstairs is great also.

Nice clean comfortable rooms. A good dinner in the restaurant.

Room Was ok but when i asked to be in the main lobby i was denied, they didnt mind about being a expedia, actually they didnt care

No beach access, more for boating.

My first time to st vincent, from the airport straight to check in.The front desk personal referred the restaurant on the premises as both my wife and i was straving due to long flight. We took his word and visted the loft around 1pm.My wife and i placed our order around that time ,she received her order within 35mins.i waited for my food while having a drink.I noticed it was almost 3pm and no food. I called a waiter to see whats taking so long only to find out that i never placed an order which is not true.I order before my wife did.The shift changed and i dont know what transpire bewtween the waiter and the chef.Other than this my stay was good,we had one hiccup with the toilet no functioning properly. I will stay here again if i were to revist st vincent. The ambience etc is great. They can do with changing the catch of the day daily .i had the same catch 3 days in a row.

Nice property. Our room had a balcony with view of the Marina. Only downside was it was not walkable to anything. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

It is a clean well furnished room with a nice view of the marina and friendly staff. But I would not stay there if I wasn't getting on a boat the next day because it is expensive for what it is.

The property need to improve better way when is raining.

Staff was very friendly and courteous.

Staff was fantastic! Dining was very good. Marina offers so many activities. We will be back 💗

Friendly service.

A great hotel for those who are going out on boat trips . The beach is a bit tricky to reach .Therr is an agreement with the neatest beach club but it opens after 2 on weekends and the tide rises then so a bit tricky to walk back to Blue Lagoon. It needs fixing if people staying at hotel are to use. Each. Food was great at Hotel restaurant and lovely fish sandwiches at the cafe nearby . The other independent restaurant was not so great . Great though for supermarket nearby which Al thff ex yacht goers use too. The staff were great at reception and in h hotel restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay … but please help to fix the public access to beach problem.

Food was ok but not great, rooms dated but adequate

My client enjoyed everything from check in to check out. Rooms Food Staff members Facility

Far enough from the busyness of the city but close enough that it’s easy to get to. If you like to be close to water and sailing boat, this is the place

Excellent location in the marina three restaurants to choose from right next to the hotel. Very, very friendly staff. Very quiet. Very comfortable bed slept great!

It was clean & quiet, everyone was friendly. It was really nice to see the boats coming in and out of the marina. The beach club wasn’t open the days we stayed so after eating, walking the dock, and down the beach the wasn’t much to do so we took a taxi into Kingstown. The water wasn’t the turquoise blue, still nice, but the staff recommended some nearby beaches we could taxi too. Very chill and very clean.

Entrance and exit to dive a car was too dangerous

They’ve removed all fridges from the rooms which is a bit of a shame as they provide a kettle so you can make tea but you have no where to keep milk. It’s possibly strategic to direct traffic to their restaurants but for comfort and flexibility in a room only accommodation in the tropics, they really should put them back. We adied for a fridge or a cooler to be provided but nothing materialised. Also, the air conditioning is very weak so you’re not as cool as you would like to be. The pool is fantastic, great depth, shape and size.

Not my first visit to the island, but my first time staying in a hotel there, and it was a wonderful 9 night stay. I booked a sea-view room, which did not disappoint. I had a fantastic view of the marina and jetty, with all the yachts and catamarans. Housekeeping are meticulous, and my room was spotless. I tried the laundry service and was blown away by that too. Breakfast each morning in the Loft Restaurant was a delight, with helpful and smiling staff. Lunch and/or dinner in either The Loft or Café Soleil was tasty and plentiful. I found the prices in both places to be very reasonable. There's a convenience store on site, which is very useful. The pool area is wonderful, being slightly away from the main building - just a 1 min walk. There are 3 cabana areas and approx 8 to 10 loungers. I went to the pool twice and was always able to get either a cabana or a lounger. The pool itself is lovely. Coconut Grove Beach Club is a short walk away, or the hotel's boat service can whisk you away to its sister hotel and beach club on Bequia. This may not be a massive resort hotel, but the services and facilities are definitely not lacking. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat 🙂.

I like this place will be going back

Very nice hotel with friendly staff.Very nice swimming pool and black sand beach. Our room was well decorated and with a view on Marina.Loved watching yachts arriving in the morning from my balcony. There are few stray dogs and cats at the property pls feed them and make sure they have a fresh water always.

Great venue of the Marina, dinner options limited and staff need training.

nice, fresh and friendly

It was spacious, loved the amenities, privacy was top tier, the cleanliness was top tier as well and not forgetting the wonderful member of staff

Very nice marine area. Good views and nice bar.

Stunning location with amazing views. Staff overall are friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean (although the towels could do with closer inspection once they’ve left the laundrette)! The rooms with the kitchenette are the most useful compared to the standard rooms. The on-site grocery store is very useful indeed given how cut off the hotel is from the nearest shop by foot. What could be improved is the service in the restaurant; service is incredibly slow regardless of whether the restaurant is quiet or busy, and the order in which food is brought out could be better e.g. I ordered toast and scrambled eggs, the eggs arrived first and the toast took a while to arrive by which point the eggs had cooled down. The service charge automatically applied to the bill after every meal seems quite unreasonable given the level of service. Cleanliness in the dining area could be improved; a simple sweep with a broom once diners have finished would be good! I found myself having to regularly shake off crumbs from the dining chair cushions! Good choice of food from the menu but it would have been nice to see some Vincentian cuisine on the menu. An ATM on-site would be useful.

It was very colorful and clean

Very nice room and view. very convenient as we were sailing the following day with Horizon Yachts.

Great for the convenience of the mooring of the boat. Lovely view from our room and great pool too!

Beautiful property on the marina with great ocean views! Very helpful and pleasant staff.

The pool area was a bit unloved. Broken sunbeds, leaves in the pool etc. The staff are nice, the rooms are sufficient. The rooms are expensive but cheaper than some in the area. Cafe and restaurant are reasonably priced.

Check in was smooth. They sent a taxi to pick me up from the airport. Reading reviews, I decided for a pool room since it's set further back. Room was exactly what I was looking for, nice private patio with lush plants and trees for a view. You do have to go up quite a few steps to get to the room so those with mobility issues may want to choose another room. They had a gentleman carry up my luggage for me (much appreciated). Room was clean, 2 bottles of water, shampoo & soap dispensers, white fluffy towels AND dark color towels (excellent for a person like me that has colored hair that tends to bleed) and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in 😴 Air conditioner was super cold upon arrival (felt great after a long day of travel). I was given a free rum punch coupon to use at the restaurant which I didn't use. I didn't visit the restaurant as I was to tired. ALL of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming 🙏 Stopped here for a quick stay before heading to Bequia. Highly recommended and really appreciate the staff for being so welcoming. It was a great start to the island of St Vincent.

Blue Lagoon provided a great stay, with excellent staff, facilities, and service.

Cool place. Great if your getting on a charter.

The property location was great, it had amenities and was kept in great condition

Wonder views of the marina and ocean. Love the welcome drink.

Beautiful location Great staff Rooms are a little worn but very clean

Had a great time staying here.

Spent one night connecting through to Bequia. This hotel/marina has everything you need. Restaurants (dinner and breakfast), a huge store for supplies and lovely clean rooms with great views of the harbor and docks.

Clean rooms.

The Front Desk Service is not good at all

Loved the location and choice of restaurants. Room was clean and nice

Good

Was a wonderful experience

Small hotel, the people, setting. Perfectly relaxing.

Great little place right on the marina where we began and ended our week long charter trip island hopping. Great food and cappuccinos. There is a also a little market that a bunch of random items like wine and liquor and fresh made empanadas. bathing suits and t-shirts. Pool was really lovely and secluded with flora all around. Highly recommended!

Quiet and charming. Great food at The Loft Restaurant. Friendly staff.

Always love my stay here! Location is on point!

The hotel restaurant is terrible. Food was inedible and overpriced The attached cafe ..not belonging to hotel far better. Room was good. Beach area has black sand and pool area is up stairs.Nice size balcony.

Besides a bit of mold in the rooms shower and the pool not functioning property making the water murky. This is a very comfortable boutique style hotel located directly on the waterfront. Only tried and kept returning to the beach restaurant which had a great sunset excellent food and service. We definitely return to this hotel.

The property is relatively new and in excellent condition. We stayed in the least expensive room available -- "Pool View" (room 28) which has no view of anything due to massive vegetation a few feet from the balcony literally blocking the view completely. But it was quiet. We counted forty steps that had to be climbed to reach the room. Bell person carried our bags both on arrival and (by arrangement) and departure. Staff was consistently professional, helpful and competent at all levels -- especially in the restaurant.

Cancelled more than 24 hours before check-in because of Death in Family, and they did not want to refund anything. Management did not want to do anything, nor Expedia. No humans behind this hotel and Expedia, money is the only thing important, and they don't care that we had to cancel to fly earlier for Death in family. Very sad business approach.

Great place to stay before and after a sail.

For such a pricey place I expected more.. the pool was dirty. So was the compound.. my bed linen was wet like it was taken out the dryer too quickly. Couldn't get room service as they were too busy. P.S. I had a sleeping kid so I couldn't leave my room. I am very disappointed in the level of service and cleanliness. Won't be back.

I rented room 22 with 2 queen size beds located on the top of the hill next to the pool. The room was amazing. Very clean. Excellent A\c. The staff was amazing. Security was on staff very friendly. Cleaning staff did an excellent job with towel replacement and making sure your room was in excellent condition. The only thing ...mosquitos ( I recommend bringing with you peppermint oil or avon skin so soft spray) staff was always smile...very happy...welcoming...I highly recommend this hotel because of the staff and the beautiful views.

All is all, there's not much to complain about

Staff at check-in was more or less friendly. Staff at the onsite restaurants/ bars were very nice...The room was tiny, limited amount of outlets to charge devices. Regardless, the room was comfortable enough at a fair price for an expensive island.

We had a delayed flight and ended up staying here overnight. The pool was welcome after spending hours at the airport and the upstairs restaurant had fantastic food and a beautiful view.

The online photos really do not do it credit. Amazing location. Stunning views. Excellent room. Wide choice of dining. But what made it such a wonderful time was the friendly, helpful, cheerful staff.

The room was very comfortable and the view was incredible. The food at the restaurants were also great.
