Orka Lotus Beach’te konakladık ve maalesef büyük hayal kırıklığı yaşadık. Otelin konumu ve denizi güzel olsa da hizmet kalitesi beklentimizin çok altındaydı. Yemekler hem çeşit hem de lezzet açısından yetersizdi, birçok ürün sürekli aynıydı. Temizlik konusunda da ciddi eksikler vardı. Ortak alanlar ve restoran hijyen açısından yeterli değildi. Personel ilgisizdi ve birçok konuda çözüm üretmek yerine geçiştirmeyi tercih etti.Satın aldığımız odalar verilmedi.4 kişiye küçücük oda verildi Ödediğimiz ücretin karşılığını alamadığımızı düşünüyoruz. Güzel doğası dışında bizi memnun eden çok az şey oldu. Bir daha tercih etmeyi düşünmüyoruz ve rezervasyon yapacak kişilerin güncel yorumları dikkatlice incelemesini tavsiye ederiz.

Единственный раз, когда приходится писать негативный отзыв про отель в Турции. Переезд из Фетхие в Мармарис отель Orka Lotus Beach. Очень грязный и старый отель, необходимо было внимательно прочитать все отзывы перед бронированием. Неприветливый и не гостеприимный персонал, наверное только охрана была дружелюбна. Отель очень старый, номерной фонд в ужасном состоянии. Бассейн и территория не ухожены, по территории ходят много куриц - как это коррелирует с уровнем 5 звезд не понимаю. Ты кушаешь и ногами отгоняешь куриц(((. Питание в ресторане оставляет желать лучшего. Отдельный треш - отсутствие охраны на горках. Дети катаются по 3-4 человека, вылетают с горок в бассейн, в котором уже полно других посетителей. Наверное это нравится детям, но не дай Бог это до первого несчастного случая. НИКОМУ НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ К ПОСЕЩЕНИЮ

The location also view was amazing. Staff were friendly and helping serving of drinks all the time. Everything under your fingers easy to travel to city center also from beach to restaurant was really close. Again amazing view

Food was amazing ,you never get hungry at all. Swimming pools were fabulous and staffs were handful and very kind.thank you.

Maids were talking loudly to each other in the early morning while we were sleeping.they don't realize what we are doing in the room early morning time.

It was our first time we visit the resort! Staff were friendly.. rooms were nice but the view was the cars parking.. food and buffet choices were good!

We couldnt find a place to sit or even found a single sun bed our first day (we were 4)! More than 1 hour walking under the sun, it was so crowded and garbage smell everywhere around the beach.. sun beds are so old need to be changed!!

This is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe it was when it first opened but it clearly hasn’t been updated since. Everything is old, out dated or broken. The owner clearly cares more for his Lamborghini car than to update the facilities. The sun beds are disgustingly. They are old and broken and rusty. The umbrellas are all broken. The only good thing about this hotel was the pool with the slides and the life guards who managed the pool area. They were very pleasant and nice people. However the pool area itself was very dirty, it was not cleaned regularly and there was often empty cups and bottles lying around the floor or old plates next to sun beds which stayed there for days. I would not pay the money to stay in this hotel again. It is a 3/4 star hotel, there are nicer hotel star hotels in marmaris like Aurasia Beach, Deluxe and seaside. Disappointed to have paid so much and got so little for our money. We go to marmaris 3/4 times every year and we stay in different hotels all the time. This was the most disappointing.

This was our second time staying at Orka Lotus Beach Hotel, and this visit touched us in a way we didn’t expect. The hotel has always been beautiful, but this time the entertainment team made our holiday feel truly special — the kind of stay you remember long after you’re home.A huge thank you to Christina, Havinna, Yasin, Kwiz, Buky Beats, Borisrock, Leah, Pelin, Sena, Domdom, Caretta, Heaven, and Imam.Every single one of them brought so much warmth, joy, and genuine kindness to our days. They didn’t just entertain — they connected with us, made us laugh, made us feel welcome, and turned simple moments into memories.Leaving was honestly heartbreaking. We felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. That’s why we’re already planning to come back — because this team made our holiday unforgettable, and they’re the reason we keep returning. Location great for walking into Icmeler however location has very noisy clubbing music until 4:30am - so far this has been for 3 nights in a row - hoping its stops after the weekend. We travelled with children and still placed in a room near the club, you will need earplugs if you want to sleep between 10pm and 4:30am as very loud. Food in the main restaurant is delicious with lots of choice. Cocktail and drinks very good for all inclusive, lots of choice. Service has been very good at the bars and reception. Restaurant very busy from 7pm, tricky to get seats, cannot get a sun bed near the main pool as towels always reserve the beds very early, we ended up near kids pool which was a nice area. Hotel does need tlc to justify being 5 stars as many broken tiles around the pools and restaurants, cleanliness near pools not quite 5 star although staff always clearing up mess; our room was always very clean and mini bar topped up each day. Beach very busy and no room to kick a ball around or play games as it’s end to end with sun beds. Overall 3-4 stars and more adult friendly with the sun beds and clubbing music. Note they delete comments on their Facebook page so I would use trip advisor for accurate reviews.

Another amazing hotel. This was our third time and have booked to go back again in October. The staff here are absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They are kind, attentive and so friendly. We have made good friends here with them. This time we had our photos taken by the professional photographer Osman and his brother. What an experience! They were such good fun and so friendly, they were just great. The photos are of such high standard and would recommend them to anyone. Can’t wait to go come back and will get some taken with my son and partner who will be joining us for their first visit!

Orka Lotus Beach is a wonderful hotel! Everything was excellent, from the food and the location to the cleanliness and the wide range of activities available. A special thank you to the bar manager, Merve. She was always welcoming, friendly, attentive, and happy to help. She made us feel valued throughout our stay. The à la carte restaurants were also fantastic, with a great variety including Ottoman, Chinese, Italian, and many more. Every restaurant was excellent. A special thank you to Chef Mehmet, who is in charge of the à la carte restaurants. He was welcoming, attentive, and efficient, and his professionalism made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel was very clean, and there was always something to do. There was a huge variety of food, from the main restaurant and à la carte restaurants to the snack bars and dessert corner. There are also water parks and plenty of activities for children, making it a great destination for families. We had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend Orka Lotus Beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Odalar temiz, ferah ve konforlu. Kat hizmetleri düzenli çalışıyor, odalar her gün özenle temizleniyor. Yatakların rahat olması da dinlenme açısından büyük avantaj sağlıyor. Otelin konumu denizi güzeldi.

Ancak geliştirilmesi gereken en önemli konu yemek kalitesi. Çeşitlilik olmasına rağmen lezzet konusunda beklentimizin altında kaldı. Ana yemeklerin bir kısmı sıradan ve tekrara düşüyor. Daha kaliteli malzeme kullanılması ve menünün lezzet açısından geliştirilmesi otelin genel memnuniyetini ciddi şekilde artıracaktır. Bir diğer eksik nokta ise havuz alanı. Bu büyüklükte ve kapasitedeki bir otel için havuz yetersiz kalıyor. Özellikle yoğun sezonda şezlong bulmak zorlaşıyor ve havuz oldukça kalabalık hissediliyor. Deniz bu kadar güzel olmasa havuz yetersizliği çok daha fazla hissedilebilirdi.

During our stay at the Orka Lotus Beach Hotel, myself and my wife developed gastroenteritis after having dinner at hotel’s restaurant. During the night, she became very ill and vomited. The following day, we went to the hotel’s medical clinic because we were feeling very unwell and received medical treatment. It costs 70 pounds/person. The most likely cause was the almost raw meat that was served in the dürüm. Furthermore, the hotel staff did not seem concerned about the situation. We had to cover all the expenses ourselves, including the medical consultation and the medication. I do not recommend this hotel at all. You risk getting sick by staying there.

هو التعامل السيء من الموظفه التي قامت بعمل إجراءات الدخول لي ... بالاضافه إلى ان موظف الهاوسكيبينق دخل الغرفه وانا في المطعم بالرغم من اني كنت مضيئة الزر الاحمر عدم السماح بالدخول وكانت اغراضي وشنطتي بالغرفه وقد نقص منها مبلغ بسيط من المال وابلغت الاوتيل لكنهم لم يتخذوا اي اجراء لذلك فضلت الخروج منهم والبحث عن فندق اخر

3rd and last time of coming here. The hotel is full of rude and angry Russians that think it’s ok to reserve all the sunbeds at 5am, the staff know this happens but they won’t do anything about it “ as Turkey as Russia are allies and best customers” ok then, so the rest of the world isn’t catered for?! The sunloungers in the water park are broken as are the tables ( if you can get one) , so much so we had to hire sunbeds on icon beach which is part of the hotel - at a minimum spend of £80!!! Icon is well worth a visit though for a treat, staff also work at the hotel and know exactly why we are there, food and drinks. So much nicer !! Orka- no floats to use in water park as they had mainly popped, food was repetitive and meat so dry. A shoe would have tasted nicer!! Drinks are Massively watered down. Creepy men in icemeler that followed me and my 15 year old and wouldn’t leave us alone. The room was nice, clean and comfortable and minibar was decent. Location wise is a Small drive from marmaris or icmeler town , or you can walk 15-20’mins .music was so loud until about 3-4am we couldn’t sleep Fri/sat. Honestly there are much better places to stay. Shame as we loved it here before but won’t return

We are a young couple who have just returned from a fantastic stay at Orka Lotus Hotel, and we can honestly say we’ve had one of the best hotel holiday experiences we’ve ever had. All of the staff were lovely and worked incredibly hard throughout our stay, but a special shout-out has to go to the entertainment team, especially Dom Dom, Haven, Leah, Imen, Yassin, and Caretta! They genuinely made our holiday and always went out of their way to make sure everyone was having fun. The entertainment team are some of the friendliest, funniest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. There were loads of activities throughout the day, including pool games, challenge games, cocktail-making competitions, table tennis, beach volleyball and gym / pilates style classes on the promenade. There was always something going on, and the entertainment team made everyone feel welcome to join in, whether you wanted to be active or just have a laugh. The evening entertainment was honestly the best we’ve experienced at any hotel. The performers are so talented and the shows felt like something you would normally pay to go and see. Every night was different and gave us something to look forward to. As a young couple, we were initially a little sceptical about whether there would be enough opportunities to stay out later in the evenings. However, we were pleasantly surprised. After the main entertainment finished, there was usually something going on afterwards in the Blue Bar, and the entertainment team often organised nights out with free transport to and from the venue. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to join any of these ourselves, but they always seemed popular and looked like great fun. It’s definitely a positive for younger couples or groups who want a bit of nightlife alongside the all-inclusive experience. A special mention also goes to Icon Beach Tuesdays. This was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. It’s such a fun way to enjoy a beach club atmosphere without having to venture too far from the hotel. The DJ is brilliant, everyone gets up dancing, and the whole event has an amazing atmosphere. The food and drinks were also pretty good. There was always something for us to eat and plenty of variety throughout the day. We often stayed by the snack bar at lunchtime and really enjoyed the pizza there, and the waffles were great too. The cocktails were good with lots of choice, and as iced latte lovers we were very happy that the hotel served iced lattes too! The à la carte restaurants were definitely worth visiting and we enjoyed those the most. The buffet could be a little hectic at busy times, but that’s to be expected during peak season. The only real negative we found was that the bathroom drain often had quite a strong smell, which we would usually notice when walking into the room. It wasn’t enough to spoil our holiday, but it was the one issue we experienced during our stay. Sunbeds do get reserved quite early at the main pool and beach, but if you’re an early riser you’ll have no issues at all. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and would happily recommend Orka Lotus Hotel, especially to young couples looking for a fun all-inclusive holiday with great entertainment. The entertainment team made the holiday extra special. They are really inclusive to everyone and super friendly. The food and drink is amazing everyday. They have special meat every evening. I played the darts everyday with carreta and he was so lovely. It would be nice to see him again here next year. I have been to orca every year for the past 8 years and this year was by far the best entertainment there has been. Heavin was also so lovely to me , she is also make the experience much better.

Almost everything was great. The only downside was the quality of the alcoholic drinks served by the hotel, which was below expectations, and the bartenders were not particularly friendly or welcoming. It’s also worth mentioning that the room cleaning service could be improved. For example, the balcony was not cleaned, and dirty dishes left there were not removed during housekeeping. We also wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary at one of the à la carte restaurants. Unfortunately, one of the restaurants was closed, and we were not allowed to dine at the other one, which was quite disappointing.

We went to the Orka Lotus im the May half term as a family of 4, My wife and I and our 2 grown up boys. This was our 3rd trip in 3 years to the area having stayed at the Yazicki Turban and thr Turunc Premium, previously. The hotel is nice and modern and has everything you would expect from a Turkish 4 star + resort. Rooms were good, fully equipped apart from an iron, but not a real problem. We were lucky, as we were in Block 5 and on the 4th floor so we had a view over the block in front of us onto the sea. However, other rooms may only h ave a view of the front door of other rooms, so worth upgrading if that is important to you. We were happy with the food, on a par at least with the other hotels we had stayed at. Plenty of choices at the buffet and we particularly enjoyed the food at lunch times at the Tapas restaurant by the pool, though tucked away under the hotel at the side of the pool, not the quietest spot for lunch. Beach was nice, water amazing, though a little stoney getting in. If you want a decent spot at the main pool, you need to be up early, it's not the biggest area and not that many sunbeds for the size of the hotel. You must go to the blue bar up on the roof, open till late with amazing views out over Icmeler, and the main lobby bar is open 24 hours, which isn't the case everywhere. Great location, 15 minutes walk into Icmeler. This is quite a big resort and lots of levels, so either stairs or lots of taking lifts. Overall, had a great time and no real complaints, just prefer other hotels in the area so unlikely to go back

The staff eventually brought in a temporary fold-up bed, which I had to sleep on for the full 10 days. It was extremely uncomfortable, flimsy, and offered no proper support — I struggled to rest properly the whole stay. Next, the Wi-Fi was practically useless. I tried connecting on arrival and was told repeatedly to “wait a little longer.” After four hours of waiting, it still wasn’t working properly. It was frustrating and unreliable, which made it hard to stay in touch or get work done. On top of these major issues, there were lots of smaller problems too: the sunbeds around the area were broken and in poor condition, and little things throughout the room and facilities felt neglected. Overall, this did not match what we booked or paid for. For a 10-day stay, the comfort and basic services were simply not up to standard. I would not recommend this hotel for groups or anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable stay.

Everything here is amazing! The staff are brilliant. They put so much effort into the rooms and food. The hotel is very clean itself. I would highly recommend coming to get your photos taken! We will definitely be back. Such a beautiful place. Thank you to the photographer he’s great!

We stayed for 2 weeks in this hotel for our babymoon and we were very satisfied. After reading the reviews I was very scared about the noise level and the food quality. For this reason, during our checkout I mentioned that I am pregnant and I asked if it would be possible to get a quieter room (we had booked land view room). The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a room 6602 (noting it here to remember for future) and we couldn't be more satisfied. When it comes to food there is a lot of choice but it might be harder for vegetarians to get something "proper" apart from side-dishes and salads. Otherwise there is a lot of food quantity (not always the quality though, we were later adding salt by default without even tasting it). On the other side, all the fruits and vegetables were amazing - sweet & juicy - couldn't stop myself from bringing more and more. Cleanliness was okay, some people that are used to 5 star hotels in Europe might not be the happiest but it was pretty good. Maybe there was some dirt here and there but we could see all the time staff cleaning, so it gave us the impression that they are really trying. The only thing that I did not like was that the staff did not really understand English. We kept getting wrong simple orders of drinks so you can imagine that explaining anything more complicated was nearly impossible. I think at such resort it should be a basic thing to speak English. Location amazing and sea was the most beautiful I have ever seen because of how clear the water was and how many fish were swimming in it. The only drawback is the lack of waves and not having that open sea feeling since there is an island just on the other side (but that's very personal opinion). Many people were writing reviews that the sea is cold - not really too much. It's refreshing and feeling nice. Overall very happy and I would recommend a stay in June. As it got more crowded towards the end of the stay I would be scared to go there in July/August.

I probably wouldn’t class this hotel as 5* but it’s a nice hotel. I contacted Charlie from customer services prior to our visit to request block 5 as I had read the reviews about noise from Icon beach bar and as I had my young daughter with me I didn’t want her being kept awake all night, she was nothing but helpful. On arrival we were allocated our sea view room 5221. Didnt hear a thing from Icon and yes on the balcony you could hear the hotel entertainment but once in the room with the door shut you could hardly hear it and it only went on till about 12. The room was clean and comfortable we all slept well the mini fridge was stocked with water, fruit juice, soft drinks and Effes and replaced regularly. The room also provides tea and coffee. There is a safe in the room which is easy to use. Only thing I didn’t like was the frosted glass panel in the shower because you can see from the main room when someone is in there just didn’t feel very private but that’s just my personal opinion. We asked reception for some towel dressing gowns and an extra chair for our balcony and we had them within an hour which was impressive. The staff at the hotel are great and work really hard it was sad to see the way some guests treated them. Beach was ok if you want a bed by the water be prepared you have to get up early I went down at 7.15 one morning and still couldn’t get one quite annoying when most of them get left for hours before people return to them. Food was alright could always find something at the end of the day it’s mass catering so don’t expect top notch restaurant style food. It’s absolutely fine and you won’t go hungry. The main pool is loud has music and games not very relaxing but there are other smaller quieter pools you can use. I prefer the beach so didn’t really use the pools or water slides My daughter enjoyed the kids splash park. Entertainment was really good I normally hate hotel entertainment and was surprised how good it was. My daughter enjoyed the kids club and disco in the evening the entertainment team work incredibly hard and deserve some recognition especially Christina what a lovely lady. She just makes everyone feel so welcome and it was a pleasure to meet her. We had some photos done at the hotel which were lovely the guy that did them ( crazy curly hair) sorry can’t remember his name was lovely and put my daughter at ease. Wasn’t impressed with the hotel salon being in the industry myself. Booked a lux pedicure which was about as basic as you can get and a blow dry she did a good job drying my curly hair straight with just a brush but the entire time I was in there she was constantly txting and talking to I assumed her boyfriend which isn’t very professional. On the whole we had a nice time.

Avoid this hotel if you’re expecting the five-star ultra all-inclusive experience it advertises. Orka Lotus Beach is, at best, a tired resort desperately in need of investment, maintenance and adequate staffing. Throughout our stay, it was clear that guest experience was not a priority. A lift serving our accommodation was out of action for approximately 48 hours. For guests with mobility issues, this was more than an inconvenience—it was unacceptable. No meaningful alternative arrangements were offered. The buffet restaurant was chaotic. Tables were regularly left dirty and uncleared, cutlery was often unavailable, and drinks service was virtually non-existent. Finding a clean table and basic dining essentials became a daily challenge. This is not what anyone expects from a five-star hotel. The bars were severely understaffed, resulting in long queues and excessive waiting times. Much of the holiday felt spent queuing rather than relaxing. The hotel also failed to enforce its own sunbed policy. Beds were “reserved” for hours at a time while paying guests were left wandering around trying to find somewhere to sit. Perhaps most disappointing was the general condition of the resort. Cracked tiles, broken steps, poor cleanliness, neglected landscaping and wet floors without warning signs were common throughout the property. Rather than feeling like a luxury resort, large parts of the hotel felt worn down, poorly maintained and neglected. The location is stunning, but unfortunately the hotel itself does not live up to its marketing. The gulf between the advertised five-star ultra all-inclusive experience and the reality on the ground is significant. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. If you’re paying a premium expecting luxury, service and attention to detail, save your money and look elsewhere.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life - and that's saying something. From beginning to end the experience was just awful, with rude and unhelpful staff, to an unclean and dirty room, to music that's loud coming from the bar within inside the hotel that went onto the early hours of the morning. Shocking attitude when you have an issue, poor food selection, hounding you to go to their spa! Never ever again

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, with a great variety and high quality at every meal. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to guests. We would especially like to thank Faysal, who went above and beyond for us. He did more than expected, helped us with everything we needed, and made us feel truly at home. His professionalism, kindness, and warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you for everything.

Nice hotel but definitely not 5 star. À la carte restaurants not available to book all week leaving us with only one choice (Chinese) on the last night. You only get one à la carte per week and the rest is charged extra. The hotel advertise wheelchair friendly but there is no access to the beach for a wheelchair user. There is no sun lounge availability by the pool or on the beach after 8am. We ended up sitting on the restaurant chairs all day. Cabanas are advertised on hotel photos but they are not part of the standard offering. This is very misleading. Specially when you travelling with reduced mobility person. The guest relations team leader was very unprofessional and obnoxious. They have made a mistake with booking our cabana (mislead on the price) and were not helpful in any way to resolve the problem. We were told that the booking price might have changed because there was national holiday. It seems there are different prices for different nationalities. The guest relations team did not try and resolve the situation just left us with children and disabled husband ( who can’t access the beach ) to sit in our room. For 5 star hotel you would expect the staff would at least try and resolve difficult and upsetting situation instead of making you feel uncomfortable. Little things but it ruins your holidays. Water park has 8 inflatable rings available so if you unlucky you could be waiting for an hour before you can slide. No irons available, laundry service available charged £3 per item.

Food is very tasteful. A lot of choice. Rooms with (side)seaview are wonderful. Staff is helpful. When you ask for another room when your door is not working properly, and you waited 2x an hour for technical service, you will get it.

Me and my family stayed here for 4 nights in May 2026. We travelled with our 6 month old. Jacuzzi Room. We opted for the Jacuzzi Room with the 4 poster bed, it was lovely, modern, clean and reasonably well maintained. We were in room 8103, the tap on our Jacuzzi wasnt working propperly, the switch kept popping up which sends the water through the showerhead. It wasnt a big issue just means it takes longer to fill the jacuzzi. The only thing about the Jacuzzi room is that you are in a seperate building at the back of the hotel grounds with no sea view. Theres quite a few steps up to the building (approx 30) and no lift so its not ideal if you have a pram like we did but again not a major problem unless your mobillity is limited. Air-con Being Scottish this is a major priority for us so we can escape the heat to more familliar temps and ensure a comfortable nights sleep. Really frustratingly, the hotel has applied a cemtralised lock to the aircon restricting it to a minimum of 20 degrees - its 18 degrees in most other hotels (which i still think is too high). I can only assume they've done this as a cost saving measure which means if you're like us and enjoy a cool room to sleep in, you need to get inventive and trick the sensor so that it constantly pushes out cool air, you can find out how to do this using any AI bot. Plus youll have to forgo a room key to leave it in the slot. 2 degrees doesnt sounfd like much but you'll 100% feel it and notice the difference. It would be great if the hotel reduced this to 18 degrees in line with most other hotels. Food Quick note: Theres a 2 hour period of the day where theres no resteraunt or snack bars serving food between 5pm and 7pm this caught us out both on the day we arrived and the day we left so plan around this. In an ideal scenario the hotel will recieve this feedback and make changes such that theres no gap. I Have attached their information including meal timings. The food was good, no major complaints always a fair few options at each meal time breakfast is great for kids wity pancakes, pan au chocolat, cereals and so on. We tried the Turkish alacarte resteraunt which was lovely with some of if not the best views I've seen in a resteraunt. Service. This is where its a bit hit and miss. In general the staff are lovely, warm, welcoming and helpful. As an example our son must have kicked off his socks in the Turkish resteraunt and the waiter went out of his way the day after to come and find us to return the socks, I thought this going well above expectation and really appreciated his kindness. The only time service was lacking is at the main resteraunt during meal times, one night we sat at the lower balcony overlooking the sea and the waiter respobsible for that area walked past our table 3 times and didnt bother to take our drinks order despite there being no drinks on the table. When I got back from getting our own drinks at the bar he made a comment along the lines of "come on this is my job", well he wasnt very attentive at his job. I appreciate we could have asked him directly when he was passing but in Scottish culture this could be percieved as a bit rude given he could have been busy with another order. In contrast when we stayed at the Prime Beach hotel the year prior you were barely sat in your seat before a waiter was taking your drink order and they were always back with your drinks within 2 minutes and would make sure your glass never ran empty, thats the gold standard when it comes to service. Location The hotel is situated on the beachfront roughly 1.5k from Icemeller (15 min walk) and Marmaris (30 - 45min walk depending on how far into Marmaris youre going. You can get to either via the beachfront promenade or by using tue local Dolum busses which run every 5-10 mins or so and are paid in Turkish lira. Its far enough away from both to be relatively tranquil at night while being close enough to be practical. Its about 2 - 2.5 hours drive from Dalaman airport so I'd reccomend private transfers. The company we used charged £110 for the return trip and it was a lovely LWB Merc Sprinter converted to a luxuary minibus. Money well spent in my opinion as due to the hotels location, you'd likely be stopping at several hotels en route from the airport taking your drive from the airport to over 3.5 hours. Hotel Layout The layout is quite strange there are multiple buildings in the complex and each have multiple floors, the main building has 6 floors ranging from -3 to +3 with the reception being in the middle and resteraunts and pools spread across multiple floors so it takes a day or 2 to get your bearings. LIfts / Elevators This is an issue if you have young kids with a pram and a real pain in the ass if you have multiple prams, the lifts are tiny only fitting mabe 4 or 5 people in (without any prams) add a pram and youre down to 3 adults max. Every day we would have to wait at the lift shafts for multiple turns. Theyre always busy and theres just not enough space in them. Its a real problem if youre in the middle floors at trying to get up or down as often the lift will arrive going up but its full so you cant get on with or without a pram and when it arrives back on the way down its full again with people going past your floor. So I would absolutely not reccomend this hotel if you're bringing a pram. The £215 Private Rentable Cabanas There are 6 of these though only one has a jacuzzi. They sell it as you have your own wauter but in truth its the same waiter servicing all 6 of the cabanas so you can only order additional drinks or food as and when the waiter chooses to come in and check on you which is maybe every 45 mins. We asked to see the menu before bookimg but they refused to show us it saying wed see it when we arrived which I thought was a bit weird so we took pictures of it and have added it to the review. The food in the cabana is good, but its just the exact same items from the snack bar, theres no premium meats or snacks the only thing thats a premium is the bottle of cheap champagne. Given the cost to rent the cabana I feel this isnt worth it, yeah its lovely and you have guaranteed sun lounger space and shade but I just dont think its worth 215 quid for a single day from 9.30 am - 6pm. If the price was a more reasonable 150 and they installed QR codes to speed up tue orderinmg process it would be fair and would have my reccomendation but due to it being £215 I just cant reccomend it. There are other ones available up and down the beach so I'd reccomend looking about, for example Icon offer a simmilar service though I dont know the price and if youre at Prime Beach you can get a cabana for free if you get up early enough, yes youll have 10m walk to the water and a 50m walk to the snack bar but you'll save £200+ Spa The spa is lovely we opted for a Turkish bath and massage, the prices are very negotiable through Sonny. This one I'd highly reccomend. Music at the main pool bar. The music was perfectly to our taste at the main bar we heard Fred Again, Mau P and loads of other house / dance artists whicy gave the hotel a youthful and upbeat vibe, though there are other styles playing in the various other bars. Summary We were happy with our stay with our only minor gripes being the lifts, the cost of the cabana and the (at times) sub standard service in terms of getting served a drink in the main resteraunt. We would book again providing we arent taking a pram and the other feedback points are adressed.

We are a family of 5 with daughters aged 11, 13 & 14 and as we travel back to Dalaman airport we’re all feeling very sad to leave (there’s even some teenage tears). We have kept returning for 6 years for two reasons 1. The people. When the wider world can feel full of conflict and extremes, the genuine warmth, kindness and trustworthiness of special people who work at the Orka is an uplifting, heartwarming and inspiring tonic. They offer big smiles, friendly “good mornings”, an appetite for fun, strong work ethic and lots of care and good service. There are many sincerely good people, but our family particularly want to highlight Ural who gave us great service in the main breakfast restaurant but was also good fun and deeply kind around the pool in the afternoon. Mustafa in the restaurant for his attention to detail, anticipating little touches our family would appreciate without us even asking. The multi talented Tolga - currently life guard at the beach - for always being a beaming, friendly presence, making sure we’re safe in the water but with such a joyous spirit. And a special shout out to Rachael and Charlie in guest relations who always offer really excellent, responsive, helpful service - as always they really have gone above and beyond to make our stay extra special. 2. The location. Honestly, it’s so very rare to find a little piece of heaven as stunning as Icmeler and the Orka makes the absolute most of its prime position. Even waiting for the lift at the roof top Blue Bar is a dream! Whether you are gazing out at the ocean and mountains at breakfast, exercising along the long seafront boulevard, taking in the beautiful and well maintained gardens and just watching the water ripple on the sand - you seriously cannot tire of the views. This year we had our 21st wedding anniversary at the Italian al a carte restaurant. The view at twilight was so very memorable, family celebration with the mountains turning orange as the sun set before the moon shon on the water on the bay. Really special times. PLEASE NOTE : Icmeler is so close to the Greek Islands like Kos (I think <50km) and so very far from any troublesome borders. It feels incredibly safe. Please don’t let scare mongering in the media let you miss out on this treat.

It was a stunning view. The room was huge, great mattress, big TV, huge bathroom, big shower cabin, big closet, so overall room was great. We liked the buffet, it's usually good variety, good quality. They have two restaurants a la carta and that was fine pretty good as well. The water was in the sea pretty clean and we enjoyed the swimming everyday. The sauna and spa is included and it was nice too. Not the best spa ever been but good enough. They have a great working path along the water which was great for us. The prices at that time in May your excellent so we enjoyed our stay very much. I believe it gets for expensive during the summer and that area is more expensive than and Antalya usually but at this time it was pretty affordable. Overall 10 out of 10.

It was all good

The most beautiful place i have been to and I have been to a few different places in Turkey 🇹🇷 amazing views. Plenty of options for food, hotel staff so friendly and helpful they where there for anything that we needed not that we had to ask for much as they had everything covered also want to mention the photographer hazan. Hazan has a family run photo shop. I would never normally get photos done as my confidence would be low but from the moment that we met hazan and his family they made me my partner and wee boy so comfortable 💙 we got amazing photos taken from the gardens to walkways to then get some done on the beach, I honestly never thought I would enjoy this experience but it has been the best. By the end of the photo shoot I really wanted to do more as they made me and my family so comfortable the only bad thing was that they had done such an amazing 👏 job we couldn't decide from the best ones as they were all amazing, just picked up the photo album and all I can say is 10/10. I honestly couldn't recommend this experience enough. So thank you hazan family and orka lotus beach for the best time and memories that will last a lifetime ❤️ we will definitely be here next year. Thank you so much again 💓

The staff are amazing they are nice and supportive , the cleaners are quite rude as well . We stayed in the family room way with the double bed u get a small duvet that’s not a duvet it’s just random sheets value is good cleanliness is quite good but be aware they don’t stock the mini bar for free they always want tips no bog rolls and noise level is boom boom bomn

Phenomenal experience from start to finish, the hotel is next level luxury. The food is lovely and plenty of variety for each service, the snack bar at the pool is gorgeous and the pizza is a personal favourite never tasted pizza like it in our lives! We came here as our honeymoon and it definitely didn't disappoint. First shout out from us is to Havin, Dom Dom & The entertainment team they've been nothing but welcoming and energetic and really are a credit to this hotel! Please get involved with them and get yourself down to the evening entertainment its out of this world! Second shout out from us is to Osman & The photography team, we did a honeymoon photo shoot which was absolutely incredible. Osman took us out and really showcased his work from helping fix our hairs to directing us how to be he was incredible. They were all so welcoming in the photo studio. We also had a photo of our eyes done and they combined them together and we were absolutely blown away with their service. If you go to this stunning hotel be sure to give them a chance they work tirelessly to give you an incredible service. Lastly Kemal on the pool bar, always service with a smile, remembers the orders and has a good laugh! You will not be disappointed with a trip here honestly it's absolutely breathtaking with panoramic views and also their is dolphins in the sea they swim past most mornings so keep your eyes out! 10/10 highly recommend will most definitely be back as soon as possible won't stay anywhere in Turkey other than here ever again. This was our 4th visit to this hotel and this time members of our family joined us. As usual we had a fantastic time The staff were extremely friendly and recognised us from past visits. Nothing was too much trouble for them and every evening they managed to arrange for us to sit together. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The cocktails are amazing in the Blue Bar which is a lovely place to sit in the evenings to relax with beautiful views. I would recommend booking a sea view room. We have booked again for next year. We very rarely return to a hotel so for us to have booked to return for a 5th time says it all.

This is my 4th time at Orka. I've tried other hotels in the past, but none compare to this one. The location is perfect. I love the walk into Icmeler, to do a bit of shopping, and it only takes about 25 minutes, and that's with me stopping to say hello to every cat I see 🐈‍⬛️ The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy. The maid service is brilliant. My bins were emptied daily, my mini fridge topped up, and fresh towels in the bathroom. They are super friendly, too. It was my birthday while we were out there, and they gifted me a huge plate of fruit, along with a lovely card wishing me a happy birthday 🥹 The food is great! Breakfast is probably my favourite, so much to choose from. The catering/waiting team are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble, they are so attentive, and always so happy. They all fell in love with my granddaughter, Betty, who turns 1 next week. When they found out her birthday was coming up, they brought out a beautiful cake for her, complete with candles and sparklers. Just so, so, lovely ❤️ The pool is fab 👌🏽 I only went in it a couple of times, only because I prefer the sea, and each morning around 6:30am, I headed off to the beach to have a little swim, while everyone else was sleeping. The beach is so close to the hotel, a hop and a skip, and I was there. I was usually accompanied by the ginger one-eyed cat 🥰 he would come down to the beach and sit and watch me go into the sea. Beautiful cat ❤️ The bar staff were super. My tipple was either a Cinderella, or a coconut kiss mocktail 🍸 The photographers were amazing! They did our family shoot towards the end of our stay, and the photos were beautiful! One of the photographers really stood out for me, his name is Sully. He is the kindest, sweetest, man. My family had a lot of time for him, we built up a really good friendship with him, over the 7 days. He was amazing with Betty (my granddaughter) and would always come and find us on the beach, to say hello, or sing a song to Betty. He's a very special human being ❤️ I didn't go to the evening entertainment. I'm always in bed early; but the rest.of the family did, and they said it was really good; especially the street dancers, and the acrobatics team. I honestly do not have a negative thing to say about this hotel. My family love everything about it....see you next year ❤️

The food is fantastic! The people are so welcoming and helpful! Manages and Hammam were great. Heaven the young entertainment lease was awesome 🙌🏾 she really took care of us dancing the night away! If you’re in Dalaman this is your spot!

Views stunning, service fantastic, special shout out to my man Faysal in the pine restaurant, looked after us every night, a true service professional! Food is really good, nice variety! Absolutely fantastic time away!!

The entertainment team were the most amazing, high energy and fun team that I have ever met on a holiday. Really made a fun holiday for our children. Special mention to Heaven, DomDom and Onur who went well out their way to encourage our children to join in with the pool games and crafts. Cannot praise them enough. One of our party has a diabetic hypo at 2. 30am and we had no food in our room. I spoke to a chap at reception who made a call and a hot sandwich was delivered to our room within 10 minutes. I was only asking for crisps so above and beyond service and very much appreciated. Billal Hazor is on hand every day for help with any queries ranging from dietary needs to local knowledge. He arranged a taxi to Marmaris centre at a reasonable rate and a free taxi to Ecmelor. Spotlessly clean hotel, would definitely stay again.

Back last Friday from a weeks holiday. Great time had with the missus. Not all amendites open and hotel wasnt really occupied but the hotel did its best. Please partake in the Entertainment games as the Hevin, Dom Dom and DJ try so hard. They are a great comedy trio. The Al La Carte Chinese was lovely you should try it. Buffet is buffet standard so no complaints and drink menu limited. The staff are so friendly and work so hard. The bar staff are quick serving but be aware the consistency in their cocktail making swings from Good to Very Bad.

Fantastic stay! Beautiful hotel, location, delicious food, great amenities, wonderful staff! (Meryem, and Dilek were great with our kids in the kids club) and Domdom, Havin, and Bugra were great in the evening events. Always had a smile and did their best to entertain even when the hotel was quiet. Great music from DJ Bugra night and day, honestly couldn’t be better. The room was spacious with the most stunning sea front view! Never felt tight even as a family of 4 in it. This might be subjective but loved the decor of the hotel, attention to detail and general modern vibe. Highly recommend. Only note - and this is not related to the hotel - if you book an airport shuttle, the shuttle company will likely assign you a tour guide that will meet you in the lobby. Do NOT book anything with them. Again, not related to the hotel but just a heads up to anyone visiting. Overall nothing negative to say, we loved it and will be back.

My family and I stayed in the Orka Lotus Beach for a week beginning March 17th in a family room. Here's a little breakdown of our thoughts. Room - The room (6611) was perfect for our family of 5. One part of the room had 2 singles pushed together with the bathroom then there was a separate very large room with a large double and a single bed. The balcony was huge with beautiful sea views. Pool and Beach - We were in the main pool everyday, gorgeous pool area with spectacular views. The pool bar is lovely and although we didn't participate in the entertainment the staff were so friendly. Some days the music was a little loud but we still loved it. We didn't use the smaller pools or the adults only one as they weren't heated. The waterslides were open every day from 10.30 to 12.30 and again from 2 to 4 (approx). Great fun but be warned the water is freezing! The beach is great, only steps from the pool and with a beach bar too. The scenery surrounding the area is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. I would have spent way more time here if it wasn't for the fact the weather was a bit cold. Food - We found the food to be of very hight standard. A good variety and always very fresh. Temperature was a little on the low side but that's to be expected with buffets. While we were there the hotel was very busy at the weekend due to it being a Turkish holiday but the standard of food remained high throughout. The Tapas snack bar was our kids favourite, lovely fresh food throughout the day and being poolside it was just perfect. We also ate at the Chinese and Turkish a la carte restaurants and both were great. Staff - I really can't say enough about the staff here, they always went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. A special thank you to Rachel in guest relations who went out of her way numerous times to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Overall we loved our holiday in Orka Lotus Beach and are looking to go back again soon. Despite it being at the very beginning of the season we certainly feel like we didnt miss out on anything, we love quieter times of the year anyway. Keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing you all again.

Still here on holiday, but what a beautiful hotel! I have to say a massive thank you to Emra and Hakan! Been to the blue bar and I have found my new favourite cocktail, Sorrel cocktail. So friendly and attentive, and his cocktails are delicious! 😋

One of the best if not the best hotel me and my partner have been to in icmeler/marmaris every one of the staff friendly and helpful rooms cleaned and mimi bar stocked everyday well worth the money and we have already booked to come back in july

Location was excellent away from the melee of Marmaris but within walking distance. Nice beach and good views. The sea was very calm and good for swimming and watersports. The foyer and main bar are modern and stylish. Accommodation however, is variable. Set out in blocks, our room although clean with good facilities had a garden view that consisted of muddy ground weeds and a large wall. Not a place you would sit out in . The wall let little natural light into the room. This combined with a clanking noise in the pipes all night meant we moved rooms . Another concrete block but at least natural light and a balcony overlooking a corridor. However not an issue as it was a clean comfortable room. I accept this was a last minute deal and we did get moved. As outdoors & sporty people we chose this hotel for the beach and gym. As well as a break from cooking. The gym was disgraceful full of broken machines and filthy despite bringing this to staff's attention on several occasions. This significantly impacted our plans.The water cooler was full of mould. No staff on hand an accident waiting to happen (partner thrown off running machine when it stopped randomly). I will end on a positive note though, the vast majority of the staff were lovely we had some good food and cocktails.

Staff, location, food

We had a really relaxing stay at this hotel and overall enjoyed our time there, but there are a few areas that could be improved. We had originally paid extra for a partial sea view room, but on arrival were taken to a ground floor family room next to one of the pools. We were told this was an upgrade, though it felt like there had been a mix up at the hotel with the booking as there were celebratory chocolates for someone's birthday in the room. Thankfully, after speaking with the manager, we were moved to a sea view room on the top floor which was lovely and exactly what we’d hoped for. The food was nice with plenty of choice, however it did become a little repetitive after a few days as the same dishes were put on every night and there was little change. The drink options were great, with branded alcohol included in the all-inclusive package which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was clean and well presented, though some areas are starting to look a little tired and could use a touch up. The beach on the other hand was absolutely beautiful and really well maintained. We always managed to find a sunlounger there, which was much easier than around the busy pools. The entertainment staff by the pool were enthusiastic but at times their behaviour came across as a bit too much and occasionally inappropriate/creepy. The rest of the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful. The 24 hour all-inclusive drinks sound like a bonus, but it did mean that some guests were a bit rowdy late at night. We were woken every night around 3am by noisy neighbours and people shouting in the hallways, and although we reported it to reception the situation didn’t really improve. Despite that, we found the hotel to be in a great location, and we loved the friendly hotel cats who were clearly well cared for. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay! It’s a lovely hotel with a lot going for it, and with a few small improvements it could easily be excellent.

The positives: The hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. The views were amazing. We had a sea front view definitely worth having. There ws  wide selection of food and drinks too. The spa was lovely, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and pool all free. The gym was ok. The sea was lovely and the beach. Its not a sandy beach more grainy and dark but soft. Alot of green fishes in the sea. Negatives: The hotel area was very dark, especially the entertainment area top deck wouldnt put lights on Hallway lights going to different floors lights not coming on Our bedroom lights kept going off Our bedroom door was hard to open and alarm kept going off We were near to the pool bar so the noise was loud felt like you couldn't sit outside the balcony due to people starring at you from the bar etc and noise Entertainment could be better started very late. They need to start the kids disco at 6.30pm and do the bingo earlier or scrap it as it was terrible.  Entertainment got better with the live band and Turkish dance but they missed the African dance which was stated on their agenda The games room was closed disappointed even thou it stated was on from 8pm so we tried again this time the door was open but lights switched off, we asked the bar people who said they don't know anything which wasn't very good. We then tried later it was open but didnt realise you had to pay this should been clear on their notice board. The gym equipment half of it wasn't working. Opening times was late as alot of people prefer it to be even earlier or 24 hours. We had do gym in the dark as it wasn't opening on time. The spa vitamin drinks section wasn't open and no one there The spa said no under 16 but there were children in the sauna,steam room. Despite selection of foods, alot of beef and not everyone eats beef. Items were not labelled properly like which type of meat it was or if someone was vegan, vegetarian what the ingredients were. Or if someone had a nut allergy too. Lacked information regarding labelling. Chefs didn't know what were asking. Dinner was very late main restaurant opened at 7pm. We went to the al carta restaurant thought we try Turkish food. We couldn't even have any starters as it all contained beef. Only mains had chicken & lamb, the lamb kebab was hard & chewy pretty awful the food was. When we got served arrived at the restaurant thought the waiter was rude and lacked customer service lack of friendliness.  The pools were freezing should have heated pools. There was one woman at reception was miserable when we arrived & also same woman when we asked question some female staff at the restaurant alot of staff looked fed up and exhausted.  Overall we did have a nice time and hotel was nice.

( Undoubtedly one of marmaris’s ( icmeler )hidden gems. Definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed in in turkey. From the fantastic pools for couples, families and just quiet chills to its own water park, nothing compares to the orka. It’s many restaurants and snack bars there’s something for everyone and if you still want more there’s 3 a la cartes! The cleanliness is fantastic, and it even has its own private beach with its own bar and a lady who makes savoury crepes. ( also has a 24hour bar!!!) the auditorium where the entertainment is of a night is out of this world! And if you get too tired to walk they even have staff to take you around the complex on golf buggy’s. But aside from all that, one of the most memorable things to take home was how helpful and friendly all the staff are! Including the manager, Rachael, Yasin, Gürkan, memmet ,metcan, sugar in fact too many to mention. If I could give 10 stars I would. Especially to Rachael who went above and beyond for us on an issue that wasn’t related to the hotel. CANT wait till we can get back there. It was honestly the best holiday we have had. The hotel complex is large but easy enough to get your bearings quite quickly. We stayed away from parts of the hotel, like the swimming pools and evening entertainment areas as they’re not our scene, so couldn’t give you an honest review on these areas. Hotel is clean, rooms are quite large and are cleaned daily. Our cleaner was brilliant, towel art most days left and deservedly deserved a tip and a mention. Beach area is tidy with a hotel bar in situ and a small hut next to it that sells the most lovely savoury pastries. Went the gym a couple of times, small and very basic but just enough equipment for a small workout. The bars around the hotel are ok, we quite liked the blue bar on the top floor which was a mellow area to drink. The cocktail list was extensive and quite good to try out, the staff here was the most friendly we met. Where do I start with the food!!! Breakfast, same everyday but more than enough to choose from. Poolside Bar (Tapas) same everyday, boring but I’d recommend the kebab wrap from time to time. Evening Food, oh dear, forget about a nice dining out experience of an evening, the main restaurant, in what can best be described as a school canteen, with a free for all. There was a choice of foods, but they were just a different take on the night before. We tried to find a quieter area to have our evening meal but had to run the gauntlet of cigarette or vapes smoke. The food was LUKEWARM EVERY NIGHT and I was told I could use the microwave to warm it up… if you took your food back to any top notch restaurant all the way down to a McDonalds, they would take the food from you, apologise and replace it! There was no visual provision for those with dietary needs and you had to ask for it and when you did, you were made to feel that you were asking for the world. The last 4 nights we dined out elsewhere and it was a much more enjoyable experience. Out of 10 for the dining experience, just about got a 1. 90% of those working at the hotel around ‘the school canteen’ and bars have next to no customer service knowhow about them, to an extent the running joke we had was that they were AI generated… although I suppose you could program an AI person to have at least a little bit of personality. The guy who heads up the Massage Area, in our opinion is rude and arrogant and really does need to go on a course in Customer Service along with the red haired girl in the Lobby bar (just a smile would be an improvement). We did enjoy the holiday, but I certainly would not re visit The Orka Lotus Beach because of the dining experiences and the less than enthusiastic staff. A nice holiday which could’ve of really been a holiday not to forget but for the dining of an evening and the customer service that worked there. … and a bit more sunnier weather! Trips - we did the Rhodes trip for a day, highly recommend.

What an amazing holiday from start to finish. Rachel Ozdemir is an amazing lady and works very hard every day to ensure guests have the best holiday. It's because of this lady I travel to the hotel twice a year. Location is stunning you look outside onto the beach. The staff are friendly and will do anything to ensure your requirements are met. The food this year has been amazing and plenty of choice.The kids food was great..ps we loved the chicken tenders keep them coming ha. Talking about food the restaurant manager Bilal Hazar goes out of his way to make sure you are seated and we'll looked after. He is a proper gentleman. Hotel is nipping clean and I had a superior room for the 3 of us and it was lovely and big lots of room. I had no issues with noise levels what so ever. The holiday was definitely value for money and I have since booked again to go next year. Rhe atmosphere is very relaxing.Thanks to everyone at the hotel.
