When we first arrived our room smelt of damp. Got the hostel to change our room which they did. We didn’t see one member of staff the whole time. They didn’t replenish the toilet rolls or clean the rooms. Make sure you have an eye mask because constant light comes through to the room.

Der var lidt pletter på laget og hår i sengen, som dog var vasken men ikke godt nok. Vi havde lidt kontakt med personalet som ikke rigtig kunne engelsk, ved ind check. Da vi skulle checke ud kunne vi høre nogle pusle bag staff døren, men da vi kaldte og bankede på døren reagerede ingen. Vi tjekkede ud ved at ringe til et WhatsApp nummer

The place is not like in the picture. It is kinda scary for me. And water dipping in the bathroom. No window. The table itself is not suitable for reading, working, only for a cup of coffee.

Mais j’ai demandé un service de blanchisserie pour mes vêtements et on m’a perdu une chaussette, ce n’est pas mort d’homme bien entendu, c’est plutôt la réaction qui a été incorrecte. On nous a maintenu que j’avais mis qu’une seule chaussette à laver, ce qui n’est évidement pas le cas.. Ça m’apprendra à faire confiance … Mais assez déçue de la réaction … Nous sommes des petits backpackers, autant vous dire que si on me perd un élément à chaque lavage, c’est un peu pénible … Enfin bref, pour une chaussette je vais m’en remettre, mais il sera davantage correct d’assumer … Au delà de ça, le lit était convenable, et l’emplacement était assez sympa aussi dans le old center !
Les murs sont très fins ! Nous entendions absolument tout ce qui se passait dans les chambres voisines … La salle de bain est minuscule (avec les toilettes dedans), la chambre s’inonde rapidement si on ne fait pas attention. Il manque drastiquement de luminosité dans la chambre. En bref, le prix proposé pour une nuit est relativement cher, pour la qualité de l’établissement.

Nos pusieron en la habitación que no tenia ventanas. Nos sentiamos atrapados y agobiados. Ademas cuando te duchabas salia agua por debajo y empapaba toda la habitación. Tambien quisimos que nos la limpiara porque el suelo estaba empapado y ni siquiera entro en la habitación (no deberia haber un cartel para la puerta de “porfavor limpie la habitación) si no le va ha hacer caso)…

The bunk beds in the dorms are super flimsy to the degree that the entire bed shook when the person above me coughed every 30 minutes, thus waking me up. Also, they changed the door code without telling me. I contacted the staff via WhatsApp to receive the updated code but not confident as to the outcome had I arrived up at 1am rather than 10pm or had by phone been lost or dead. Door codes should not be changed without *proactively* informing all guests.

Die Matratze: Jede Feder konnte man spüren einfach zu alt. Das Bad: 1,5 qm Klodeckel nicht befestigt , schimmel und schmutz an jeder Ecke, es stinkt nach ablussrohren und Urin Zimmer allgemein: Super laut man hört jeden Gast neben oder über sich. Zu Hell Das Flutlicht scheint durch die Buntglasscheiben in den gesamten Raum. Toilettenspülung der oberen Stockwerke gehen direkt durch die unteren Zimmer. Niemals wieder

ฟูกเตียงนอนดูยวบๆ ไปบางช่วง แต่ก็พอนอนได้อยู่ และห้องไม่ค่อยเก็บเสียงเท่าไหร่ เวลามีแขกเดินผ่านหน้าห้องและพูดคุยจะได้ยินชัดมาก แต่ก็ไม่เป็นปัญหาเพราะเสียงก็จะผ่านไป

Lack of space in the mixed dorm room was not acceptable (I’ve been to many hostels around the world in my life), but the WORST THING was the “bathroom” which was a poorly working shower installed next to the toilet and a pissoir (room of approx. 3 square meters). This was really disgusting, unbearable!

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025It is perfectly located, in a quiet little street in the heart of Chiang Mai. It's a very good value budget hostel with dorms and rooms. I stayed in a double room that, though quite basic, was comfortable, had all you could want: A/C, hot showers, access to lounge with free coffee. Staff here were friendly and helpful.
I was sorry they were fully booked for next week, when I will return to Chiang Mai, as I would have been very happy to have stayed here again.

The room is spacious and the bathroom has a lovely hot shower. I will definitely be coming back. I arrived late and was very impressed by how easy it was checking in.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2025I think the location was great, located in the north east corner of the old town, it is very central yet pretty quiet since it is in a side street. The staff was super friendly, did not speak much English but with a bit of Google Translate it is pretty easy to communicate still. They were very accommodating and helped me with an early check in. The facilities are nice and on the second floor there is a coffee station also which provides free coffee! The room was clean and met the expectations based on the information on booking.
I think the bed was a little bit springy, but I didn't expect super comfort for the price I paid. Besides that, the bathroom/toilet was about 1 square meter. The room was quite small, but I already knew this when booking so it was not really an issue as I only spent 2 nights here before leaving the country.
