Green Sleep Hostel

Room and toilet are so clean every day! I stated here for almost a week. Really comfy and relaxed. Also, the staff Chacha and Gate are so friendly and cuteeee :) I’d recommend green sleeping for sure! And I will come back soooooon lol

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable; the shower had good pressure and hot water. There's also an on-site self-serve washer and dryer, which can be very helpful for long-term travelers. And the location could not be any better! I've stayed here twice already and would highly recommend it to any one passing through Chiang Mai!

There's no smoking on or even outside the property, and many signs on the street where the property is located have no-smoking signs. It can be a bit inconvenient if you're a smoker.

Everything! This is my second time coming to Green Sleep and of course it was great. I was greeted with a smile not only on arrival but every time me and my partner came into the hostel. We were asked about our day, there was always breakfast and a snack available. The cleaners were so lovely and very thorough with there cleans! 10/10 stay - I recommend this place so highly! It's also a great hostel for activity pick ups and you're in the old city ☺️

The best thing about this hostel is the staff- Chacha and Kate are so lovely! They are always happy to chat and have great recommendations for the city. The dorms themselves are comfy and breakfast is nice (toast, jam, watermelon, bananas). There is a storage room you can leave your luggage. It’s also in a great location for exploring the city.

There are no curtains on the doors of the dorms which means the light from the hallway comes through.

At the most amazing location in Chiang Mai old town. Wat chedi lung is just minutes away, special surprise nearby if you're here on a Sunday.

Esta muy cerca de zonas de interés en la ciudad incluido un convenience store, las zonas comunes son muy amplias asi como aseos y duchas, la cama también me resulto cómoda asi como el staff personas muy amables y agradables, recomiendo la ciudad y este sitio para visitar! Hay sitios de alquiler de motos cerca y lavanderías.

No me gusto que haya que dejar un deposito en efectivo pues ese dinero me hacia falta para ver un parque natural.

The green sleep hostel is in an ideal location. It was so clean. We had a private room with a double bed. The bed was so comfortable. We were just a 1 minute walk from the Sunday market which was so so nice to walk around.

One thing was the building next door was doing some renovations during our stay and we could hear them drilling at 9am.

This was a return stay for my friend, who recommended Green Sleep. We are so glad we stayed here. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, kind, and accommodating. The hostel is kept very clean and organized. The location is easy walking distance to many things, including the street market. It's also easy to get transport to various locations. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Fruit and tea/coffee in the mornings is a nice touch.

Not the fault of the hostel, but there were many mosquitoes while we were there. They provided bug repellent in the lobby, which was helpful. Make sure to have slippers or house shoes, as this is a no shoes facility.

La atención ha sido genial, súper majas, me han dado indicaciones para hacer actividades durante mis vacaciones y me han explicado muy amables la distribución del hotel etc..tienen desayuno incluido,es un sitio muy céntrico y a la vez muy tranquilo . Las habitaciones súper limpias y las camas muy amplias , vine para quedarme un día y al final me quedo 7. Llevo un mes viajando por Tailandia y es de los sitios que más a gusto he dormido

Super friendly staff! We had some good chats. We also had everything we needed from laundry self service to free fruit every morning which was a nice touch! Location was also great in the centre of the old city.

It was clean, good Aircon, breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were clean and well kept.

The staff was the best! They made me feel so welcome and always checked in on me before leaving what my plans were and even noticed that they haven’t seen me for a day because I was gone for a day tour and left/came back outside reception hours which made me feel so safe as a female solo traveler. This hostel is very friendly, chill and located very conveniently. Facilities were always super clean and well looked after - even though it’s not a social hostel by offering communal events, it was very easy for me to talk to fellow travelers and loved hanging out there.

C’était propre et les staffs sont très gentiles et parle un peu français.

Un lit était très dur et la porte des casiers font du bruit. le petit dej est gratuit mais il n’y a pas de choix. La serviette était vieille et il n’y a pas de porte pour se doucher mais juste un rideaux

This is one of the cleanest and most peaceful hostels I have stayed 10/10. The staff is friendly, the location is great. You can rest. The lockers are big. I would come back.

Las chicas que trabajan en el mostrador son unas amores. Eso ya en sí hizo que mi experiencia fuera súper agradable. Las camas son cómodas y el hostel es tranquilo (aunque esto también puede ser suerte) Todo está muy limpio y bien cuidado y no falta de nada. Las chicas son muy atentas y te ayudan con todo. Me gustó el hecho de que tuvieran una lavadora y secadora. Cuando hice el checkout me dejaron guardar ahí mi maleta horas después.

Awesome. Clean and quiet. Staff was accommodating with my late check in. The set up with bathroom for male and female was great. Room (4 female dorm) was specious with good size looker to keep your things safe And plants space to any other luggage you might have. Beds comfortable, AC worked well.

Not that I dislike but just the heads up there is no lift. And there is 4 floors on the property.

Staff are absolutely amazing!! My second time staying here and they welcomed me back which was so sweet. A beautifully quiet hostel in the centre of Chiang Mai.

The showers were a little unclean, a bit of mould in them. Though they're probably just due a good regrout/touch up. Genuinely loved everything else!!

One of my favourite hostels I've stayed in. The location is really good in the centre of Old Town. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. On Sundays the street market is just a few metres around the corner. Nonetheless, the accommodation is super quiet as it's located in a small side road. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy with personal sockets (however it is difficult or impossible to charge your phone if the cable of your charger goes to the side, since there's some tight shelves built around the socket). In the room you don't hear any noises from the outside. The lobby is great with some couches, a big table and some workspaces. There's almost always someone and I've met during my several stays always nice people to talk to or hang out with. The staff is super friendly, you can have a good chat with them and they are really helpful. They give good recommendations for places to visit, things to do or how to get around if you ask them, but don't try to sell you stuff 😬 Also, they were super helpful when I had some problems with another guest and even let me switch to another room without any extra fees. When you arrive early you can leave your luggage in their storage to go out. The sanitary facilities are also good and there are enough of them. Hygienically there's also a good standard. Everything is cleaned on a daily basis. For laundry they have a self service machine and tumble dryer for a good price. When I come back to Chiang Mai I will be happy to stay there again. :)

great hostel, comfy beds and its very very near the street.

the staff were rude, i needed a bottom bed because i have health conditions, but they were full during songkran so instead of looking for a solution or offering me a change of rooms they kept insisting that i should cancel....but it was very hard to find another good hostel like this one so i refused, so we decided on moving me to the mixed room for just a few days, but i felt like that they weren't really trying to help me. and during the convo i insisted a bit too much so i apologized after, but they never replied to it... when i got there i felt that they were cold with me, all that just for a discussion on the bottom bed. they kept speaking to me vocally even after i told them that im deaf, very discriminating. the water from the showers and sinks were very very hot, i burned my self several times. the staff explained to me that i could leave the water running to get it less hot, they should put on a sign... i got burned for days before i got the courage to ask. so i felt very uncomfortable with the staff after all that..but i still wanted to come back and rebook hoping that we could leave things behind because i really loved the hostel. but i got banned? i cant rebook and i asked them about it on whatsapp, i thought there was a problem with the system, i wanted to let them know that something wasnt working but they replied with "if you think we have problems, you can stay in another place" wtf i just wanted to let them know and book directly with them in a another way.... but after a booking for another place got through, i was so confused so i researched and apparentely hostels and any accommodations can "ban" guests from coming back. so i asked for a confirmation just to avoid misunderstandings, they saw it but i got zero response. so thats it. after several hostels in almost a year of full time traveling this is the first time ever... im still a bit shocked because i didnt even do crazy things or something.

Das Hostel bietet alles, was man braucht - ein komfortables Bett, einen geräumigen und geselligen Aufenthaltsraum mit kleiner Küchenzeile, immer saubere Badezimmer und Platz für das Versorgen von Gepäck. Ich liebte die Ablageflächen, Steckdose und das kleine Licht direkt am Bett. Die Leute waren extrem rücksichtsvoll, so dass ich auch ohne Ohropax einen guten Schlaf hatte. Der späte Check-Out um 12.00 Uhr ist auch perfekt. Ausserdem gibt es jeden Morgen gratis Toast, Früchte und Kekse, Wasser kann man auch immer gratis auffüllen.

Le personnel est super sympa. Hostel en plein centre de Chiang Mai, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un super séjour : petit déjeuner gratuit, conseils activités, chambres spacieuses, lits confortables, lockers pour ses affaires, sanitaires très bien. JE RECOMMANDE vivement !

Me gustó todo, ubicación, instalaciones, habitación, limpieza ( súper súper limpio ), flexibilidad, absolutamente genial!!! Cuando vuelva repetiré 100%. No sabía que hacer en Chiang Mai porque me habían recomendado ir cambiando de hostel pero fui añadiendo día a día para quedarme más tiempo, al final no cambié a ninguno otro, no necesitaba probar ninguno más. Super recomendable

They offered a simple breakfast, which I really liked bread, jam, and coffee. Their tea/coffee facilities were available all day, which was a great plus. The location is convenient, with a few temples within walking distance, and the main gate isn’t too far either you can easily walk there. The hostel was clean and well-maintained. In the washroom, they provided shower gel, shampoo, makeup remover cotton, and shower caps. A hair dryer was also available. There was a shelf in the hand-wash area to keep items like a phone, though it would be helpful to have something similar in the shower area as well. You have to remove your shoes before entering the premises because of which the place feels more clean.

Just my room was on the 4th floor and they have no lift.

L’emplacement et le personnel est vraiment bien! Proche du night market du dimanche. Chacha à l’accueil parle français et à plein de bonnes adresses pour manger ou visiter !

일찍 도착해서, 짐을 맡길 수 있어서 좋았어요! 1층에서 쉴수있어서 편하게 기다리다 체크인했구요, 도미토리인데도 관리가 잘되있어 깨끗했어요! 화장실도 건식으로 관리되고있어서 다녀본 숙소 중 제일 깨끗했습니다. 수시로 점검하시고 청소하시는것 같아요. 시끄러울까봐 걱정했는데 조용해서 편하게 잘쉬다 왔습니다. 체크아웃시 밤비행기라 짐을 맡겼었는데요, 늦은시간에 샤워할 수 있게 타올도 챙겨주시고, 편의를 봐주셔서 너무 감사했습니다.

The staff at Green Sleep Hostel is AMAZING! Rarely experiences something like this. Beds are super comfy and I met loads of other travelers and we celebrated Songkran together. Location is perfect, in the middle of the old town and walking distance to everywhere.

I had the best time at green sleep, wasn’t too busy, great staff, and perfectly located. I highly recommend this hostel and I will be staying again once I come back.

You definitely have to make the effort to be social.

I like how the staffs are friendly and ready to offer help. The room and toilet were clean. Locker inside the room, washing machine and dryer are available for a fee, or use outdoor drying rack.

The female dorm is 4th floors and my bed was upper bunk. It was difficult for me with a past leg injury. It’s bit quiet at night, the location is at the corner and bit dark at night.

Beds were comfortable, location is great, and the staff is so sweet 🥹 The common Area is not big but it is perfect to chill, work, or meet other people traveling here

This was my second stay. Amazing common room. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Lovely staff. Amazing guests. Overall I stayed for around 2 weeks in 2 visits.

Très bonne localisation. Très propre. Les espaces communs sont tops et les chambres sont grandes. Le ménage est fait régulièrement. Le petit déjeuner est bien.

AIR-CONS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SWITCHED ON BETWEEN 11-2 pm in the room and in common area AIR-CONS only allowed 1-5 pm i mean why we book the hostel, to sit and meet other travelers in the evening or morning time. Who will sit there in that kind of heat. There is just nothing to like about this property, the receptionist who comes for 2nd shift is a most rude person here and she has no manner to talk. You don’t have to be sad all the time and rude all the time, while i was sitting and having my dinner at 9 pm suddenly the rude lady switched off the AIRCON and with her rude attitude she told me its bot for you so switched off… the picture i have attached is a board they put very next day after me asking why AIR-CON. Our room AIR-Con remote was not working again miss rude was there to argue. So overall its a bad state. Also there are 4 floors and no lift so you have to walk up And down.
