Location was great and obviously pride themselves on a rustic character and good food

It was explained that the car park was not available during our stay and alternative parking was available close by (which it was) but nothing was mentioned about the early morning builders that would be working in the car park right outside our window.

Excellent location for my requirements, extremely helpful and friendly staff, very good food, very nice and comfortable room.

Another wonderful stay at this lovely inn. Great staff team, really comfortable bed and huge room at an excellent price. The car park is closed but alternative parking nearby is available at a reasonable rate. Great breakfast too!

The breakfast service was far too slow. We were told the chef had a problem doing our poached eggs! We also overheard a member of staff being told off.

Dinner. Staff didn't ask us if everything was good with the meal. They made a mistake with the bill that was quickly rectified the next morning. Personally i don't like service charges and happy to tip were appropriate

It had a great location & the staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious & there were some really fab special little extras in the room such as a coffee machine, evening tipple topped up each day, a fab dog bed & pillow spray. Everything was refreshed each day!

Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful-they found space for me to eat, despite a large pre-wedding party being there (and arriving later than booked). Shower was nice and powerful.

Although beautifully decorated, I found the room very dark, even with the lights on.

Beautifully presented, lovely staff and a fabulous location in the High Street. The outside garden seating area was especially lovely as the weather was lovely and sunny and hot!

Everything was lovely, only down side was being charged twice for our room due the original payment not showing as being previously paid on arrival. However the staff were very apologetic and although we haven’t had the refund yet, I am sure that it will be processed. As small blip on a really lovely couple of days in Odiham.

Breakfast and the restaurant in general was outstanding. The room was spotless, spacious and the bed very comfortable. One of the best places I have stayed at.

A lovely hotel. I particularly liked the hamper with things you might need such as shower capes, cotton buds, toothpaste, toothbrush etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good.

We love Bel and The Dragon. This was a return visit. Lovely helpful staff. Great food and wine. Super comfortable bed. Complimentary tipple. Great coffee machine. Excellent shower.

The only thing that really didn't work for me was the wifi. We were in Room Oriana and I really couldn't get any signal on laptop or phone and had to resort to my hotspot. I needed to work so it was inconvenient. The last time I was there I had no problem.

Excellent accommodation. Lovely pub with rooms upstairs. Rooms were spacious and really well designed. With lovely touches from gin in the room to great bath products. Very calming to walk in with Classic FM playing.

Service at breakfast was a little slow - they seemed to have more guests than staff ready to take orders. The buffet was a little basic - with only a few types of fruits on offer. Can be a little noisy as it's a pub downstairs.

Beautifully decorated, a fan in the room which was very useful for the weather. Nice and quiet. Friendly staff.

Not many options on the buffet breakfast, however lots of options for cooked breakfasts. Drinks were on the pricey side.

We had breakfast at the inn, which was served in a very pleasant room. The choice and quality of food was first class. The place has great charm and excellent facilities and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The room and bed were on the small side, which we knew about and found acceptable. The decor and the heavy lamp shades made the room quite dark, which affected our enjoyment somewhat.

Family room is great, worked well having separate adult & kids spaces. Breakfast was delicious & great variety. Lovely little touches to the pub / accommodation throughout.

The family room is above the pub entrance, when it’s cooler and windows are shut that wouldn’t be a problem however it was a heatwave when we stayed & with the windows open it was noisy until closing.

The room was beautiful, and there were some nice touches too (a little complimentary drink and quiet classic fm which was lovely)! The breakfast was really nice too, and the staff were also all really nice. A great place to stay!

When we arrived the check-in desk was unmanned (fair enough; it is a pub-hotel and keeping someone there all day would be madness) and it was a bit confusing as to what to do. A little bell or something to alert the right person would have been a great touch.

The room was spacious and well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was well fitted out with a walk in shower. The bar area and separate lounge offered relaxing spaces and the restaurant was decorated and finished to a high standard. Breakfast choices were numerous and presented beautifully.

Third stay and location is good and rooms nicely equipped and decorated. The food has got better too.

Service has sadly declined quite considerably which is a shame. No one was rude, just inattentive, lack of awareness of people waiting and very slow service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very good. I particularly like the box of handy cartons to help you during your stay: shower caps, toothbrushes, cotton buds, sewing kit and much more! I think the decor has been updated since I last stayed and it felt fresh and clean. You definitely get what you pay for here.

The staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful! We arrived very early from an overseas flight and they made sure that our room was quickly available. The meals were excellent. The inn has been beautifully and tastefully designed. The location was excellent for us.

Our room, Willow, with a big, comfortable bed, was very small indeed with little room for our luggage. The worst thing though was the extremely low lintel over the bathroom door. Along with its little step up, it caused much forehead bruising and some very angry words!!! Also the room was right above the kitchen and the banging door to the terrace, so it was a bit noisy, especially in the evening.

Breakfast was excellent.poached eggs and mushrooms on sourdough.

The village and atmosphere of the pub, staff are great and welcoming.

Lovely pub/hotel right in the middle of Odiham. Convenient to get into Basingstoke. Nice restaurant and bar.

We have stayed many time over the last five years and always enjoyed our stay, we always ask for the Webb room which is in an annex at the rear of the property. The breakfast is cooked fresh and a great choice also a perfect service.

Very friendly and convenient location

Location was perfect for our big family birthday party being held at the Bel & Dragon that evening. The room was clean, warm and very comfortable and we enjoyed a great night there. The dinner was also excellent.

The breakfast buffet was quite limited and more care and attention could have been given to the cooked breakfast (the breakfast muffin was burnt and shouldn't have left the kitchen).

A lot of it was finished by the time we arrived at 9.00am. In addition, t he main courses were average and very unimaginative eg. avocado on toast was literally ......... avocado on toast ........ No extras - not even a crack of pepper.

Service was slow After being asked at dinner, ´how´s everything?´, I told the waitress that the chicken was overcooked and dry - to which she replied, ´yes, I know´. It COULD have been so good but it is the staff - serving and catering in particular that let it down.

Very nice old pub with an awesome interior. Very practical amenities. We love the big bed and the bathtub.

No bar snacks, no food until 6pm and kitchen closed at 9pm. We were visiting friends in the area, could not get any food before we left at 5 and returned at 9, all shops on high street were also closed! Nothing in the area but very pretty. Pub was so busy, missing a trick with no bar food!
