Score Birds Hotel

I have stayed in this hotel many times. This trip I stayed almost 30 days. I'll give 5 stars because of the location and the 24-hour gym and swimming pool, which I have mentioned in a previous review. Minus: I have been charged for items I haven't used, eg toothpaste and milkshake. I have advised reception. I didn't use it , they said might the guest took it . My advice is with each check-in, make sure everything in the mini bar in your room is actually there. After I had completed the full payment for my stay the night before checking out, I still got charged an extra 300 Philippine pesos for room service, even though I had given tips to everyone during my stay.

I will give 5 stars to this hotel in Angeles City. Because of 24/7 gym, swimming pool, and bar, Great location just right next to Walking or Red St.near one of the best clubs in Angeles, "Mega Dance."

Poor water pressure in shower and took a long time for water to get warm. Shower head antiquated. All the food in the mini bar was too old and spoiled.

Hotel is great this is my third time here. Great pool feels like a resort. I would get the standard room over the economy for a little more. Less noise from Red St. And rooms are nicer. Better you will still hear the noise from red st from 1am to 5pm. Not sure if its an after hours club or what.

Score Birds is a wonderful place to stay with a splendid staff and room experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, clean, and a spacious bathroom. The staff is truly amazing and I can not wait to visit again next July. Duke's Restaurant is open 24 hours, along with room service.

I was located within all the activity in the area. Duke's Restaurant was open 24hrs, I qas very pleased with this. The front desk staff and housekeeping were both friendly and attentive.

This was my third year staying there. The room was clean, and the service was great. However, we had an ant problem in the bathroom around the sink, and the shower was the same every year. The water was boiling hot or ice cold. You can't adjust the water to warm. For the price, it's a good place to stay.

This was not my first time, I finally got to see the swimsuit pageant. Every morning I get a cappuccino from Daisy she was very hospitable. Excellent customer service

Second time here and its a Very nice place, staff fantastic nice and helpful,nice location nice cool swimmingpool,roomservice 24 hours good food,wifi little bit weak sometimes but ok,bed was very soft and nice, but its something i cant blame the hotel for,its the loud sounds from the road outside with lots and lots of tricycles and motobikes who come and go with full throttle all night seems this road is the main road to entry of walking street so every rides this way,but earplugs and some beers in your head and its ok and a tip to the manager the "make up room sign" is falling down when little windy so the cleaning staff dont know if its dont disturb OR make up room,happened to me twice so my room was not cleaned,just for notice Otherwise highly recommended from me,i give it a 5

It is a quiet area depending which room you stay at. Great huge pool 24 hours open. Security is good. One block or about 5 minute walk to walking street or club area.

Will stay again. Had a great stay. Very friendly and helpiful staff. Comfortable beds and rooms. Noise? Some rooms nearly soundproof and others along the road very noisy with nonstop tricycles 22 hours or so a day. The only property Ive stayed that has the pool open 24/7. Love that!

Great stay. Friendly and caring staff. Some rooms are nearly sound proof and others near the road very noisy so ask about that at checkin. All rooms are smoking,but the staff uses a product that removes nearly all odor. Execellent security. Great access to Walking Street. Very happy!

Everything is as it should be at this property. Very happy. Wonderful staff, great beds, clean rooms and good food. Pool is open 24 hours..my gauds thats a first to me in the Philippines.

The staff and security personnel at the hotel are outstanding. The hotel is very secure. It is very short walking distance to everything. Have stayed there several times and will stay there in the future.

The staff were truly amazing and nice. The only downfall of the place was the constant bass music that played all the way til 7 am every morning, from the clubs that were right behind the hotel.

Great atmosphere and quite

Although upon check in my unit had a ant infestation problem I laid down and felt something tingling on my feet looked down and I was being eaten alive after running downstairs to the front desk they immediately upgraded my unit and offered free dry cleaning of all my clothes they truly did do whatever they could to make up for the experience so with that I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Best hotel in AC.

The hotel is a block away from Walking street. The Duke restaurant is excellent but a bit pricy. My room is fine but the hot water took time to come out. The room had a funky smell. The room needs to be sprayed with room deoderant.

Room 124 I can heard music till 4am from the disco next to the wall on the other side of the building , issue with hot water too. Long time to get it to come out.

I had an ok experience at the hotel. I had an incident where 2 staff members were joking with a dark-skinned Filipino staff member calling him a beluga. I'm married to a Filipina so I understand some Tagalog. And I know that Baluga is a bad name for black or dark-skinned people. My wife confronted the two staff members and told them not to use that language anymore. the staff never apologized to me. But over all the hotel and the people were great. I would stay there again.

I like that the bar and restaurant was open 24 hours a day and you can swim all day the staff was excellent I hurt my foot at a different place and they came and gave me bandages everybody was very very nice there

Score Birds is an excellent experience. The place was spotlessly clean. The entire staff, especially Milky and Precious, were friendly and very eager to help in any way desired, and the location is great. The restaurant and bar are both great, and the food was AMAZING. :-) I will definitely stay here again next time I come to the Philippines.

Score Birds is my go to for lodging when traveling to Angeles City. The staff is incredible - friendly, courteous and ALWAYS helpful. I could spend more money for a hotel. But, I could never match the service. It would be a step down for certain. Love the place.

This hotel is in a good location and the staff is amazing. The pool had the dirtiest water I have ever seen in a hotel pool though. There was everything from pieces of paper, plastic, hair to bugs all floating in the water. The gym is decent, restraunt is great and everyone is very friendly.

Room are small but the price is right.there was very tiny insects in my room, spoke to the cleaning lady,but was actually done.very nice swimming pool,but when stepped out on the deck it was slippery and I fell,hurting my right shoulder and my pride.

Customer service and staff was excellent. GREAT timely and considerate customer, and that makes up for the overall condition of the property. Second value added. I loved the out door movies of major films at night. They reminds me of the old outdoor drive theatres. Great touch!

the hotel staff from the security guys and receptionists bar staff and cleaners do an amazing job to make you feel comfortable.the staff are so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful.the pool is big and clean and the food from dukes restaurant is of the highest quality and great value.my room was clean and spacious with great air conditioning a large shower with hot water and a good fridge to keep drinks cold .the hotel is in a quiet back street but is not far away from walking street and the entertainment centre of angeles city.the sm mall is also nearby and within walking distance.i could not recommend this place any higher it is great value for money in a prime location.

I wrote my review on agoda but they delete it.. I arrived 7 am morning after long flight and Lady in front desk that day says room is ready but they need money for early check in. Maybe they thinking there Bed mightgwt spoiled if I would sleep extra few hours..

Absolutely great staff and good facilities. Room doors are not sealed therefore it becomes very noisy when you are relaxing in your room.

Such a waste of a great location. i have stayed here often and each time it gets a bit worse and of course older. the staff are great and try but i stayed 5 nights, no wi fi ever for more than 5 minutes, and i need it for what i do. first 3 nights no hot water. the food is not worth ordering, so we ate elsewhere everyday bar the first try.

It was an amazing places to stay

This place is very unique. Unlike many places, the staff treat you like family and care very much about the guests. That’s really an understatement as to how good this place is. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else but there. Next time I stay, there will be no hesitation as to where I’ll stay.

Top-notch hotel !! 24 hour restaurant with excellent food, 24 hour pool and hot tub - 1+1/2 blocks from the main night spot street. Room has refrigerator. Was spotless, friendly courtious staff- just the interent was slow- will stay there again on my next stay!

We (1 x Australian male & 1 x Filipina) stayed for 2 x nights in a Deluxe room. Hotel is in a central location, good for accessing nearby restaurants, bars and the famous walking street. The room was spacious, had everything we needed and we really appreciated the large dispenser for drinking water (much better than the two small bottles usually provided). The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. Only negatives were the room smelt of tobacco smoke (I doubt there are rooms provided for non-smokers) and the bathroom fittings looked cheap and fragile. All staff were friendly and helpful…we would definitely consider staying here again and I recommend Score Birds Hotel for couples (there were also two x families here at the same time) and singles (you will be able to take a visitor to your room without drama).

I was only here for a few days visiting with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful. A standard room had been booked for me. It was compact with a wardrobe and desk and chair. Aircon was noisy and blew directly on to the bed. The tv was excellent with many channels to choose from. The fridge was packed with a variety of drinks. Lighting was very good. The bed had clean linens and provided a comfortable sleep without the aircon on. The bathroom had a segregated shower with hot water and good pressure. Room cleaning was simply a matter of hanging your sign on the door. Food at the restaurant was good but we dined at different restaurants each day. The pool is large and well maintained. They can arrange airport transfers for you. Ideal quiet location only a short walk to Walking Street and a variety of shops. Overall, I had a comfortable stay.

9/10 would stay again.

ScoreBirds is conveniently located close to nightlife, shopping, and many attractions. It also has swimming pool and offer its own entertainment such movies on a big screen for a large audience.

Simply enjoy scorebirds, STAFF,friendly, efficient...welcoming to families who visit for a day

The hotel isn’t new but is in decent shape as compared to others in the area. But unfortunately you have to be so careful with review of charges because. I was notified on Checkout that I would have to pay for a bath towel and hand towel because I had stained them. These were not new towels, they had a lot of wear but I was made to pay full price. I then demanded that the towels be given to me since I had purchased them. They balked but then complied and became very nervous. They wanted to start to document by taking pictures, but I reminded them that since I had already paid for the towels they were mine and I had no intention of providing them access to them. I took the towel back to China, threw them in the wash and they laundered clean without difficulty. I am now the proud owner of two clean but well worn towels that the front desk manager at shorebirds made me pay full price for. What a joke and scam.
