Suites Costa Cancun

I had a great stay here! The staff was very helpful with my needs and very nice!

Excellent staff very clean, condition around the property very poor

It’s really good for what you pay.

I like this place its clean an in the cut across the street from the big hotels....i needed to rest myself an get food this location gave me everything i needed an more

The property had a terrible odor throughout my stay. There were several bugs in my room. There was a point where I could only shower with cold water because the hot water was not running. It was not as advertised on Expedia.

The hotel is okay. The rooms are cleaned every day. It is a low cost hotel. The staff will help you get where you need to go. They also fixed my bed. The negative parts are that the hotel itself is not air conditioned. The room is but not the halls and lobby. The ceiling looks like it suffers from a few roof leaks. There is no hot water and I was on the third floor which had low water pressure. I’m interested in adventure so I like getting around and going places. The hotel is not a deal breaker. I did enjoy the low price. If you’re looking for a resort experience, this is not for you.

Local shopping and food area and it is very clean environment. Everything is walking distance away and very affordable. Parking area available as well, and very easy to get transportation.

good choice for my tastes. older building. lower than average price. the room itself was totally great. slight issue with noise here snd there but not often. access to beach is not at all convenient, but that goes with the bargain price for the room. main reason for the stay was to have a lower cost option that had nice clean rooms. this place hit the mark. will stay there again for sure.

everything was fine I just wish they had a safe and a fridge

Parking was meh

I've been to a lot of very expensive hotels, one of them being a Holiday Inn Kristal Hotel and another, but you guys really earned the 5 stars, and I'll give you 5 more.

Lights when out,no water on and off plus i sometimes had to shower with super hot water because that was only so i asked them to change me rooms

Not the easiest property to find as there is very limited outdoor signage. Once there, the reception service is quick and the room is very clean. The roo. Was actually more than I expected for the price.

Staff was rude . never cleaned the room dirty towls . inpluged my cooler for insulin ' tolit didny work shower was only cold AC was broken

Stayed at this hotel way back in 2018 with no problems, but now the Hotel and area immediately around it seems eerily abandoned.

The sheets were moist and stained with god knows what and there was no hot water. I understand that you get what you pay for but in this Instance, just pay a little more so that you can sleep like a normal human. Or just don’t come to Cancun if you can’t afford it

There was no hot water in my room. I had to take cold / warm shower for the entire week. They say that you have to wait 5-10 minutes for the water heat up. But that didn't work even if waited for 20 minutes. But the cleanliness was good. And the location is very convenient.

.

No hot water, WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, floors not very clean, a huge bathtub in the bedroom but what for without hot water.

None of the rooms have windows that open. You feel very claustrophobic with stagnant air in the room

Good price. Outdated, lot of Noise, main door did not work properly, bath toilet from one the rooms did work, we were moved from a room to another with diferente issues.

Basically, it was a strip mall that turned to the hotel and the rooms used to be a store is clean but has a weird feeling the stuff was amazing

The property need some improvement but the stay is ok.

The establishment is situated close to transportation and easily accessible on foot to shopping and nightlife destinations. The beddings were clean. However, every surface was visibly dirty. Countertops, curtains, and side drawers were dirty and dusty. The chair inside was filthy and emitted an unpleasant odor. The bathroom was reeking of an unpleasant odor and was severely soiled. Despite my repeated complaints, the bathroom, floor, and surfaces remained uncleaned for days. I observed a cleaner mopping other room floors, suggesting that the cleaner responsible for my floor was ignoring ours. The room lacked a window, resulting in unpleasant odors. The air conditioning system was effective in circulating the air. Although the building is old and dilapidated, the lack of cleanliness significantly exacerbated my discomfort.

Because of the glass wall the room was not dark when sleeping. Blackout curtains would be better then the regular ones that were hung.

Not good. Very bad service

It was ok

room was nice, close to beach

Room was not what we expected

Great size bed. Good for one night stays. Shower doesn’t have hot water and toliet has a hard time flushing. Also there is light coming through windows all night. the room is located in the middle of a mall.

No me gusto nada nomas dormi una noche ahi

Pay couple more dollars and go to better place. Take care

I went to suite costa Cancun at the hotel they refused to give me more towels or another door key for my husband the The receptionist at the hotel was so rude to us I lost the card for my room they asked me to pay $15 dollars no internet no hot water sometimes the refrigerator was leaking Never again thank you

Convenient location

Very clean and organized..

Very hard to find, no signage on the outside. Kind of strange layout, looks like it used to be a mall. Bed itself was fine but not enough bedding for two people. The mini fridge had a light on that lit up the room at night, had to cover with a towel so we could sleep. Very limited amenities in the room , the theme “Twiggy” was kind of odd, I guess it was supposed to be a boutique hotel kind of vibe but felt kind of cheap because the posters were wrecked and dirty.

Stay was good, staff was helpful. Everything we needed was closeby.

We normally stay here the night we fly in just to give us a minute to relax before we check into our Resort. The resort needs a lot of updating but for our needs it is perfectly fine it is safe we have been staying here one evening normally arriving around 8:00 p.m. and greeted pleasantly and promptly. Our first room had an odd odor but we were quickly relocated and everything went smoothly after that. It has no resort style feel but it is easy for one night. It is also directly located across from the Dreams Resort which is where we head to first thing in the morning. There is local shopping right outside where you can grab a drink and some snacks before heading to bed. The beds are comfortable enough considering we're always exhausted from our flight.

Good

Good price so you have to accept certain things...

The rooms were clean. Location in the hotel zone is the highlight of this place. It is a reasonable choice if you are looking to save money. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was huge.

No internet service

Location was GREAT. Staff was very helpful. The building does need some work, leaks and stairs require attention, basic maintenance things like that. Funny detail... the shower curtain was 5 minches off the ground so really not very effective LOL! The room we stayed in (Christian Dior) was funky! You can tell the room had been converted into a hotel room, it was spciaous and oddly designed, toilet and shower in one corner, tub in another and the sink on the other wall. I would have LOVED a window though :) Although they did make a "frosted window" by the door with light from the hall and there was daylight from the roof area so it kind of was like a window... but not quite. TONS of room to do my yoga in the AM. FREE PARKING was perfect! The beach access was about a 3 min walk away. A grocery store was the same distance. This hotel was great. The room was clean it was the basic maintenance issues that rated the 4 stars and madeit look messy. We would stay here again for sure.

It’s not a hotel, not Parking very hard to find. Scare

Close to shopping center.

Expedia needs to stop making business with this place,is the worst experience It’s an abandoned shopping center, the staff really rude, they don’t have no idea what customer service is. I would never stay in that place again. I prefer to be on the street.

Smell Very bad super duty room duty area no food horrible

Let’s start by highlighting this hotel does not have any rooms with a balcony or window! Although I booked a room with a balcony, upon checking in I was told they don’t have any in the hotel. After checking in by a really polite and helpful staff member, I entered my room and was immediately hit by the strong smell of damp and a space that had not had any fresh air ventilation ever! Due to the impending hurricane making its way to the Mexico Peninsula, alternative hotels were fully booked or overpriced, so I decided to accept my ill fate and settle down for the night, only to notice there was also no fridge in the room. This was quickly rectified by the nice guy that checked me in, who personally carried one to my room for me to use as all stores were closing for an undetermined timeframe. Long story short… poor WiFi, damp smelling room, low shower pressure, leaking ceilings in the hallway and not exactly a budget price! Don’t stay here if you like the smell of fresh air

To much light you could hear everything, good for a one night stay

Very poor i have to check out sooner

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel needs major renovations. The ceilings in the hallways were leaking, and the escalators were not functioning. The area is nice, but it took a while to find the hotel since it’s not easily visible. The room was spacious and clean.

Check- in dude tried to charge me twice . No hot water . Slowest check in ever . Almost half an hour , I already had a reservation and had paid .

This was a cute little hotel that is located inside an old shopping mall. It was adorable. The rooms were a little run down but they were great, beds were comfy and the themes were fun. Very worth the price.

Nice

The property had a unique decor which liked, and the rooms were very clean. There was no microwave service available thru out the establishment or a way to warm up leftover food. My greatest disappointment was that the jacuzzi hot tub never worked my entire stay there and management just kept giving me excuses about why.

good

There is no microwave that you can use. It is advisable to bring one portable kettle. If you need hot water, you need to go to the coffee shop to get one close to the hotel.

Good deal

Rooms are large (good) but amenities are bare-bones. No drinking glass, cable TV blurry, shower lukewarm, no in-house breakfast. But for the price it's OK. You get what you pay for.

I liked the property but the fridge didnt seem very cold

No amenities at all. Price should have been cheaper considering the condition of the property.

The is a cheap hotel so this review is based on similar $75/night hotel (like Hotel 6). That said I give it 7/10 rating Jan 2024 stay. This is an old 3 story mall converted into a hotel. You can't see the lobby from street as there are store fronts go to east side of building. The hotel could have been more secure as there are no locked main doors anyone off the street can easily walk to your room door. Excellent safe location easy walk to beaches, night clubs, restaurants and shopping. Felt safe walking home from Senor Frogs at 1am. I had 2 rooms both were very large, clean , king bed and 42inch TV; however I hated the 1st room it was on main floor very loud music in hall and lights shining in room shower head was broken shower door was missing it did not have: mini fridge safe or hot water. I complained and they put me on 3rd floor. Much nicer got a safe, fridge, hot water and shower door. The shower was incredible! 10x10ft large shower head on ceiling! Wasn't perfect still too much light in room at night. Walls are paper thin and you can hear neighbors as though they were in your room. You need to ask to get your room cleaned so hang card on door every day. Over all the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. It rained one night and we had water dripping in our room. Safety latch on door was missing but dead bolt worked. Door had large gaps that let hall light in could have easily been fixed with a seal. Smoked window above door let too much hall light in at night.

The shower sucked. Barley any water comes out. Had told them to send someone. They did and he told me it should work but didnt. Luckily I was there just 2 nights. Will never go back

Ok

Do not expect a luxury room, the pros are definetly location and price. Cons: rooms need some maintenance. The personnel was friendly but they didn't have the ressources to help.

The room smelled strong like cleaner with a mildew mop. The mini fridge didn’t work. the shower was horrible couldn’t turn it on. There was a step to the bathroom no door

Spacious rooms, clean, great staff.

They let kids play and scream late at night… needs to have kids control

The room entrance designed the way that you hear at least 10 rooms around as they come in and about anytime day or night.

The hotel is outdated, and did not offer any amenities, but at the end of the day, it was in a great location, very clean and comfortable for what I paid. I would recommend it for a solo traveler.

Very convenient location.!

I love the fact that this place used to be a shopping mall. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and greeted us each time we came into the building.

Pol

Will recommend

The hotel is very centrally located, the room was clean and the staf was very friendly.

The place is an old mall and is a really cool idea with the layout but is pretty run down. The room was very clean but details were old and rusty.

Super solid hotel before checking in on Riu Las Americas or other near hotels!

The Establishment is very hidden , surrounded by other building that have closed permanently . The check-in office is also very hidden.

Wifi didn’t work for the whole duration of my stay. Cost me so much in data charges. Not even worth it. The rest was fine.

The A/C in the room was not working and it was full of mosquitoes. Overall this hotel didn’t advised us it was under construction and we had a difficult time looking for someone to guide us to the lobby because the hotel looks abandoned.

AC didn't work, and front desk said they didn't have any more rooms available When I contacted hotels.com., the issue was immediately resolved and they moved my family onto two rooms with working AC"s. Its clean and very close to shopping, restaurants and bars. This place has so much potential if they put a bit more money to it.

El hotel necesita mucho mantenimiento, ya esta muy viejo

No hot water for shower. One piece of glass missing on the window.

It is close to everything! Rooms are big and very clean.

We chose this place for one night prior to staying at a resort. It is near the resort we chose and cheap. First off, the parking lot was closed, the lobby is hidden, and it is in an abandoned small plaza. They say "renovation" but nothing is being constructed, just falling apart. The room was spacious but very dated and smelled of moisture. The AC worked, TV, no view, had to wait for 5-10 min for hot water in the shower. Oh, and only stairs to the lobby on the second floor. May be a good choice during Halloween.

Very large room with a balcony view and a very nice bathroom. The room itself was clean. There was curiosity between my bf and me about the previous use of the premises. The location was within walking distance from the Cancun nightlife strip.

Good location and service

From the outside it looked like it was abandoned 20 years ago but inside, while dated, was clean and comfortable. Beds were a little soft for my liking but would be fine for most. Service was great. I would stay there again.

Air-conditioner acted up making noise one night. Turned off until morning. Didn't have issues after that. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It is good for the price! Good location. close to restaurants and beaches. Easy to find. definitely recommend the supermarket selecto.

This is a cheap hotel so you cannot expect it to be like 5-star. The AC is a bit old and the floor is with some sand/ash? I cannot tell. But the general facilities like bed, bathroom are good. It satisfies your need when you are on a tight budget like me. It is great for its price.

Room had a balcony, close to nightclubs, great price for the area.

Good, clean room and nice staff

Staff were friendly, place was clean, fealt safe. Would like to have had a fridge and room safe in the room.

We had a difficult time finding the lobby as there was no sign indicating where to go and felt uncomfortable to explore too much as it appeared no one was around. After sometime, I went up these little stairs off to the side and found the lobby. Not wheelchair friendly.

Great location in the “downtown” of the hotel zone. Near the nightclubs and restaurants, a small mall and a supermarket. The outdoor areas were a bit run down, but everything inside the room looked great and was in good condition even though it was clearly older and not very modern. The room was spacious and well laid out. There was adequate lighting, and everything was kept very clean and tidy. The rain shower didn’t have enough water pressure so we took the shower head off to let the water run normally.

The rooms are very roomy and comfortanle they would be even nicer if they at leaset had a refrigerator.

A bit overpriced for little more than a room. Quiet, clean, easy walking to many restaurants and other amenities.

No pool - not as advertised - only acceess is through main reception
