Su ubicación y los desayunos, personas muy queridas en la prestación del servicio.

Los muros entre habitaciones son de drywall por lo que no existe privacidad completa, uno siente al vecino dentro de tu propia habitación, no me gustó ese detalle.

La ubicación. Falta parqueadero más cómodo. Pero en general bien

La habitación al lado del comedor y el ruido empieza a las 6am, no había agua y no me pude duchar. Terrible, tenía un evento y me toco "bañarme" con un balde.

There’s no AC and the bathrooms toilet have issues when flushing. The breakfast menu is very limited.

Es un hotel pequeño que esta siendo mejorado. Se encuentra en un area buena, sin mayores ruidos ni molestias. No es recomendable para personas con discapacidad por falta de ascensor y tampoco tiene aire acondicionado.

Las personas son realmente amables y atentas. El paisaje y el entorno natural es increíble. La limpieza y el aseo impecable. Las instalaciones muy cómodas y la tranquilidad del lugar es propia de una finca de campo. Recomendaría mejorar en lo tecnológico: wifi, TVCable. También en el restaurante, con la posibilidad de poder ordenar en cualquier momento y no solo en los horarios que me parecieron muy estrictos. En la sala de juegos todos los tacos de billar estaban dañados.

Visited this 3 starts hotel after a drive of 4 hours. The personal was very friendly, rooms clean, equiped with all facilities usual on this kind of restaurant. We just stay a night but it was experience.

We spent six very comfortable days in this modern and close to downtown Armenia,Colombia hotel. The rooms are modest but clean and well taken care of. The bed was especially comfortable. The hotel is off the main road but close by in a residential area. An excellent selection of restaurants is nearby (although I cannot recommend the Bamboo restaurant which is a block away). Taxis were always available outside the front door. Breakfast was modest but well-prepared and filling, e.g. eggs how you like them, juice, coffee, bread, and fruit. Coffee is available in the lobby all day. Most appealing was the friendly and helpful staff. All the staff understand quality customer service and we (2 couples) were treated like family. The hotel manager overheard that one of us was celebrating a birthday and the next thing we knew one of the staff presented us with a bottle of Chilean wine. We plan to return to Armenia in the future and we will most assuredly book our rooms at this lovely hotel.

This is a good boutique hotel run by very nice people. Our room was large with a wonderfully comfortable king bed. It had great big windows which unfortunately looked directly out onto the construction zone of the pool area. We could not open our shades as the workers were right there. We were disappointed in this as we did not know there was no pool or spa tub available at this time. Other than this it is a nice place in a great walkable neighborhood.

nice modern hotel with suitable facilities - we stayed for a quick one night stop on our way to Salento and it was perfect for that. If we had been staying in Armenia longer we would probably have chosen somewhere a little more central.

This hotel is in an upscale, safe neighborhood in Armenia. My room was spacious and clean with a beautiful bathroom, television, and fan. Nice restaurants within walking distance, as well as a business district with less expensive eating options and stores. I left early so did not get to try breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!

When looking for a room we were trying to decide what type of experience we wanted. There were the 2 major hotels where most people would go. We chose "Montes de la Castellana" because we wanted to feel what it was like to "live" in the city as opposed to being in "Hotel anywhere" in the world. Well we were not dissapointed by what we found. Not a large impersonal "Hotel Anywhere chain", but a know you by name what can we do for you place. While having breakfast, we met the manager, William, We started talking about different places where we thought might be to far to go in the time we had Alocated for that day. Next thing we knew he returned with his car keys and drove us up and back just to show us how close it really was. We were amazed by his willingness to help us navigate our way around. To say that Armenia is probably the most hospitable place I have ever been, out of the 13 Countries I have visited, would be an understatement. Europeans are all over this place, word has gotten out about this GEM. These will probably be the best 21 days we spend in a long time.

The hotel is quiet, with a friendly staff, and well located. My room was relatively small but comfortable and clean. Good price for its price. Breakfast is what you usually find in the city. There is a good cafeteria one block away that offers other choices, good for lunch or dinner.

This was my second stay at Montes de la Castellana. It is a small and comfortable hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff are very pleasant and the hotel is two blocks away from many restaurants, very convenient. I will stay there again the next time I go to Armenia.

Montes de la Cast Elana This hotel was a lovely residence in Armenia. Located in a quiet neighborhood better and provides a very welcoming stay. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean. The hotel is fairly new and is decorated with taste. A nice and cozy pool completes the whole. The staff are friendly and very helpful. English is spoken there. Nothing is too much. They even arranged an English interpreter within an hour of us, and it was perfectly adequate. Breakfast is not extensive but is cooked to your liking. We stayed 5 days in this hotel and enjoyed the stay. For us this hotel deserves 4 stars ****.

After days in Villa de Leyva and Salento this hotel was my personal oasis. Room was spacious and fully equipped with necessary tools (eg. a fan). Breakfast was good and I got a pool view room, which is a plus. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Recommended this hotel for those who seeks comfort after long trekking and walking days.

The staff is great we arrived very early in the morning and we have been offered a early check in for a addicional cost. The breakfast is very good and very colombian For some reason, the hotel wasnt full, they gave us the biggest room on the hotel, its an amazing room very very large it has three beds and a lot a space and a glass wall to the the pool. amazing, not the most private one but vey romantic, The bathroom is good but could be a little larger. Overall an excellent experience

Formerly a large three stories family house, the building was transformed into a boutique hotel. Unpretentious but comfortable, it may nicely suit the needs of the business traveler and/or adults with no children. Prices are reasonable, beds are good and breakfast included in the rate is ok. Attendants are polite and helpful. Rooms could be greatly improved by adding regular closets (the existing ones lack drawers and there is no where to place those garments you can not hang). If you are traveling by car, you may leave it outside on the street just in front. The area is quiet and fairly safe.

I could close my eyes and believe I am in the Westwood area of Los Angeles where the location is. Safe quiet location. The commercial shopping area nearby is great with a great small central California college town (UCSB/UCSC/San Luis Obisbo) feel in the late afternoon. plenty of students and reasonable priced places eat near by. (go for a walk at sunset to Cafe Quindio)

Staffs were very helpful and understanding. We were staying there for one day. The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean, peaceful and at the good location. Everything was perfect. Thanks for your hospitality.
