Wonderful breakfast !! The cabin was spacious… only thing missing was a bar of soap for the bathroom.

Very friendly staff. Cabins are small but very sufficient. Beautiful location. We throughly enjoyed this place.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut. Ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gegeben. Fußläufig ist die Stadt in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen diesen Platz auf jeden Fall.

There was a little misunderstanding during check-in. We ordered 2 cabins, however only one was initially offered. When I showed Expedia reservation confirmation on my phone, they were able to find second room and provided second key.

Haben uns vor Ort auf ein Upgrade von einer Traditionellen Hütte auf eine DeLuxe Hütte entschieden, da die Betten in der Traditionellen Hütte mit teilweise Doppelstockbetten sehr schmal waren. Das Frühstück war hervorragend! Das Personal freundlich & hilfsbereit, alles war sehr unkompliziert.

Fin og unnholdsrik hytte. Vil tro de er perfekte om vinteren, kan ligge i senga og se på nordlyset. Fantastisk personale - ble oppringt da de fant noe jeg hadde glemt igjen. Anbefales.

Dieses Hotel ist großartig und wir drei sind gut genug, um darin zu übernachten. Wir frühstücken sehr gerne in diesem Hotel. Sie haben viele Frühstücksoptionen und viele warme Speisen.

Siisti superior mökki, jossa hyvä varustus. Viihdyimme hyvin. Sohvavuode ei nyt ollut maailman paras, mutta makuuhuoneen varsinaiset sängyt ajoivat asiansa. Auton sai samaan hintaan parkkiin aivan mökin viereen, mikä helpotti kamaraijausta.

Fin liten hytte. Fint område rundt. Praktisk med gratis parkering rett ved hytta. Renholdet kunne vært bedre. Det var en del støv. Rester av syltetøy på bordet. Dusjen var tett. De store vinduene i taket gjør det veldig lyst på natten og vanskelig å sove godt.

Petits inconvénients : pas de télé et internet pas terrible, logement hyper chauffé sans moyen de baisser, pas de repas le soir (mais petit déjeuner super copieux)

Sehr schöne Campinganlage mit vielen kleineren und grösseren Cabins. Die Cabins verfügen über eine Kochstelle, Dusche mit WC. sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Zentrum Tromso ist gut zu Fuss oder mit dem ÖV zu erreichen. Zusätzlich kann man vor Ort auf der Campinganlage ein Frühstück dazu buchen .

Cute cosy cabin with easy ways of getting to the town and staff were so helpful

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. There were many options. Some of the pastries and protein changed daily. Great selection of breads, nuts, and cerails.

We enjoyed our stay at Tromso Camping. The lodge is surround by beautiful landscapes and staff were polite and accommodating. We had a cabin with no toilet/kitchenette but the shared facilities were clean. Our con would have been how far the walk wasn’t the facilities, being I believe the only rooms without toilets it’s strange they are the furthest from the facilities. Made it a bit difficult when I needed the bathroom in the middle of the night and my child was sleeping. I didn’t want to leave her alone. I knew it had no toilet which was fine, I should have checked how far away it was.

Not enough hot water, congested , cant say anything good about property

Sort the drainage out for the shower. 20 minutes seeping out the water from the shower. A proper let down.

Tiny rooms

Sicuramente da consigliare il soggiorno presso questa struttura, riservata, silenziosa, colazione a buffet eccellente, personale cordiale e disponibile. Da rivedere un pochino per quel che riguarda la pulizia, capelli nelle lenzuola e doccia non propriamente pulita, ma è tutto superabile. Sarebbe utile se aggiungessero un servizio di navetta che parte ad orari prestabiliti per il centro della città, e viceversa, o almeno per la fermata del bus che dista 10/15 min a piedi, con i bagagli raggiungere la struttura è davvero difficile, inoltre la strada è spesso ghiacciata, in inverno ovviamente. Ma come già detto CONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE QUESTA STRUTTURA.

Todo muy bien. El desayuno buenisimo, personal amable, bien situado y se pueden ver auroraa desde el propio camping.

Pros: Beautiful cabins in a nice location Cons: Staff not helpful. The property is far from the city center and walking 1 km to the bus stop with cold weather is not so easy for everyone, taxis are expensive.

Stayed there as a family of 4 in a cabin. Not the largest accommodation but that was intended as stayed outside dealing with the snow anyway. Nearest bus station is 15mn away walking.

Cabin was neat & tidy with everything you’d need & a good size too, staff were really helpful with us checking in late & explained everything perfectly & also once arrived polite & friendly, buffet breakfast was also really good, loads to choose from & tasty! Views from this location is simply an added bonus!

Really cosy and clean cabin. Perfect for our long weekend exploring Tromso and the surrounding area. The double bed is pretty small but otherwise the cabin was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t complain about anything. Will definitely be coming back and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Love the cabins - perfect mix of being away from it all and having access to everything.

Not clean, dirty and dust everywhere. Smelly fridge, oven is not clean, dirt in the kitchen. There was one slipper left in one of the bedroom. A few receptionists were not helpful and did not care or response when cheking-in and when I told them about the house was not clean and there was a slipper from earlier guest left in the house. No apologise, no offering to clean the house properly, not professinal at all.

Quiet place . Too small for 3 persons.

Wir waren mit 2 Personen in einer Explorer Cabin mit Blick auf den kleinen Bach. Es war sehr sauber. Vorhanden ist ein Kühlschrank und eine Kochgelegenheit. Topf, Pfanne Geschirr sowie eine kleine Nespresso-Maschine ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Es gibt kein Backofen, Toaster, Mikrowelle etc. Aber es ist auch völlig ok, denn man befindet sich auf einem Campingplatz! Frühstück kann optional gebucht werden, wo auch die üblichen Dinge bei einem Buffet vorhanden sind. Sogar für Allergiker gibt es glutenfreies Brot und Müsli. Dafür das es ein Campingplatz ist, ist es ein sehr gutes Angebot. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. An jeder Hütte ist ein Parkplatz. Am Haupthaus gibt es E-Ladestationen. Zu Fuß nach Tromsø geht man ungefähr 40 Minuten. Zur Eismeerkathedrale ca. 16 Minuten. Taxen- und Busverbindung ist vorhanden.

Booked this hotel for a group of 4. Couldn't have asked for better, great location away from the main island, with amazing views and easy access to the cable car. Room was able to warm up fast, shower was good, and the entire cabin was spacious. Breakfast was as expected for a continental and a little expense as around £14 per person, but I've had much worse. Hotel was around a 45 minute walk to the city centre, and the airport is around 10 minutes away via Uber. Staff were great as we had to do some unique changes to our stay and they allowed us to stay in the same room across a different booking. Thanks for making our stay great

The cabin was so cozy, and warm regardless of the very cold days! It was walkable from the next bus station, as well as from some hiking spots in the surroundings. The place is also nice to see the northern lights of conditions are given (I was lucky and could see them from the glass ceiling of my cabin! I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Room has a little bit of unpleasant smell when we first stepped in. Cooking stove took longer than usual to cook. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was great. We were lucky to catch aurora on 2nd night of our stay right outside the cabin.

Hade en supertrevlig vistelse, där jag bland annat kunde njuta av älven som porlade rätt utanför terassen, se på norrskenet från sängen, och njuta av stillheten. Kan varmt rekommendera Tromsø Lodge & Camping.

Stayed here four nights in the Explorer Cabin and it was great! Bathroom and room was very clean! Property was really nice and the views were amazing!

Awesome spot

Nice lodging facilities. Cute cabin. Public showers on excellent condition with private rooms. The showers could help the customer by having a place to hang the toiletries while showering, though.

Our lodge was great. It was clean, in really good condition and warm and cosy. The reception staff were really helpful and able to answer all of our questions. I'd recommend staying here if you want to stay outside of the city centre. The location of the property was great, a 15 minute walk away from the Arctic Cathedral and a short bus ride into 'Central' Tromsø. If you are travelling to or from the airport and not hiring a car, and it's snowing heavily, I would highly recommend a taxi. Although the taxis in Tromsø are a bit of rip off (circa £30 to the airport), the distance from the lodges to the nearest bus stop is a few hundred meters, and dragging cases through snow was not fun and was hard work, as we found out when we arrived. We made sure we booked a taxi (which can be done in reception on a tablet) back to the airport.

The cabin was beautiful, so comfortable, very warm and accommodated the party of four very easily. We walked everywhere and we needed a taxi. It picked us up from our front door. Also, the food at the cabin was delicious.

The information kit from the hotel was great, they give you a lot of information about Tromso before and during your stay. I would have rated five star if the hotel lets me what I should expect for the traditional cabin, I would have changed to deluxe cabin if I knew this ahead.

Very friendly and approachable staff..definitely recommended . Only disadvantage was intercom or no phones in room if we needed to call the front desk.. Overall highly recommended property to stay. Very cozy and relaxing ambience

The check in was seamless Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were informative about the lodging and outside excursions. The cabins were clean perfect for our group. Affordable and close to the center of town if you wanted to hear to the city . Will definitely recommend this to everyone

Decent camp site. Room is clean and cozy.The environment is quiet and comfortable. I could see starry night and northern lights during my stays. The pillow and bedsheet are not very clean.

I like camping so my cabin was really nice and clean and private. I didn’t like the location of my cabin It was facing a big sports complex that had the flood lights on until 11pm that was my cabin there were other cabins in a better location So no way to see the northern lights

Excellent stay. The staff here are just lovely , really friendly and helpful . The chalets are spacious ( we had a traditional chalet ) and really comfortable. Lovely environment and the breakfasts are brilliant if you have them

We had a great stay here!! The cabin was wonderful, and we even saw the Northern Lights right from our terrace!

Absolutely Magical. The two staff (women) at the desk were delightful and extremely helpful. An absolute asset to this place!

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. We did really enjoy our stay in Tromso, but this lodge had a few issues. First, your expected to make up your own bed? Sheets were left on the bed for you to make up... & the beds / mattresses were dirty with dust and hairs all over. The bathroom also smelled terrible, I've stayed in plenty of cabins in rural areas and never had this issue. There was also a sofa plus a table with chairs, we felt the need to clean everything before using... Overall we loved the area and even got to see the lights right above our cabin, but the cleaning and cabin conditions needs to be better!

Amazing stay next to the river

Location is perfect. We’ve seen the northern lights from our cabin. Not so far from the city. just approx. 15 mins to city center. Staff members was friendly and accomodating. Overall, Highly Recommended 👍👍👍

Super cosy, really friendly, good feel from the place

Lovely place surrounded by nature! Very good WiFi, Nice breakfast. One night we saw the Northern Lights fom the camp via camera. Really hard to find a dark spot the whole place it's really bright which is not an issue you just need to drive away find a clear sky and you can explore the northern lights or book your northern light trip on reception (Recommended!)

Amazing Cabin! Be very careful when booking, the economy cabins and possibly other ones DO NOT HAVE A TOILET/SHOWER. You get a key and you can go shower and use the toilet in the common space. It was actually pretty fun in the end, and we saw the Northern lights walking back from the bathroom one time, but just be aware.

Very nice & cozy lodge amazing for short stay,, the staff are very friendly,, the organized all the trips for us,, & since it’s out of the city center we heard that some of the guest saw the aurora from their lodges

We took a whole day flight and drive in for late check in, it was already a mid night. we were so tired, hope to clean up quickly and have a rest, but there was no hot water totally! I have take off all my clothes in the bathroom, waiting for the hot water for 20 minutes! But still have no hot water, end up I decided to ask my husband to boil the water for shower, but the problem there is no pail, end up I using the dirty cleaning pail left at the entrance corner! It’s really a terrible experience!

Needs a car to reach as it's a long way from anywhere. In the depths if winter, it's a must. Place is basic and fine. Don't expect anything fancy as it's a camping site and caravan parking location and not a regular hotel. Good for overnight family stay.

check in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, location was good with easy access to nearby attractions and quite ideal for catching Northern Lights. Breakfast was reasonably good and service staff were friendly and helpful.

It took me a look time to find the reception after they closed and found the key. The view is amazing, unfortunately the night we stayed was heavy snow so no Aurora can be seen, however the view outside was gorgeous. The room is big but the bed is too soft, the towel seems be using too many times, breakfast just not so good

This property is fantastic. The view of the creek from the cabin deck was gorgeous. I am so glad that we got this place. It is close to the city and close to nature, what could be better

This place is great! We stayed in the deluxe family cabin and thus have everything provided including towels and bed linen. Kitchen have all essentials for quick breakfast and pack lunches. The location is great as well, not too far from town but close enough and far away from th crowd.

The cabin we stayed in was amazing, with extra amenities we weren’t aware of; excellent staff who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Tromsø!

It was one of the best places I have lived in. It's a place to have friends or family along. Camping like feeling with a WiFi and insane facilities for bathrooms and kitchen. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Totally recommended

i booked comfort + type ..the caben is very comfortable makes me feel like home .. the view is amazing it was like a dream .. the stuff are friendly and helpfull .. you can reach the main attractions easely .. very nice and peaceful place

Cabin 30 is halfway between the main office building (with toilets and showers) and the amenities building. A sudden urge to use the bathroom is not ideal when staying in this specific cabin.

Tromso Camping is located in a quiet setting just outside of the city. The cabins are surrounded by beautiful mountain and river views. Its a nice way to get a quiet, relaxing stay with all of the comfort and convenience of the city nearby, only about 5-7 minute drive. We stayed in a deluxe cabin which provided everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights right out the back of our cabin door. The mountains provided the perfect backdrop for photos.

Stayed in a deluxe chalet down near the small stream on this camp site. I would call this 'glamping', posh camping. Chalets was a great size and super location. Staff were all friendly and as helpful as they could be. Heating worked very well and there was always hot water. Would have preferred more kitchen equipment to cook with and it would have been nice if the small stadium nearby turned off their lights every night. Waste off electricity and ruined our photographs when the aurora blessed us with a show above us.
