The gym hours are mind boggling. It’s only open 5pm to 9pm. When I asked why it’s because other rooms can hear the noise from gym. Still doesn’t make sense why it can’t then be open from 10am. Anyway won’t be a big deal for everyone but was for us!

Le stanze, come l’intera struttura, sono davvero ampie e spaziose, e, cosa trovata pochissime volte nei nostri innumerevoli viaggi, avevamo a disposizione ben n. 2 strutture per poggiare le valige. Colazione varia ed abbondante, con uova preparate al momento oltre a quelle presenti nel Bouffet.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Location: excellent, central, easy to get around the city center and for your pickup Property: so beautiful. I loved walking in the garden and smelling the lavender flowers. Homely, warm, clean, and well-maintained. Staff: so kind, helpful, and lovely, especially Ernestina, Michaela, and the gentleman who helped fix the TSA lock on my suitcase! Room: spacious, incredible view of the garden and mountains, huge and comfortable bed Breakfast: expansive, tasty offerings
Amenities: WiFi wasn’t great. Also, while I really liked the spa and the gym looked good, the hours are restricted: can only be used from 5-9pm, which is incredibly inconvenient, especially for working out. Apparently this is because of their location directly above a guest room. Nonetheless, that should have been made apparent before booking, because I would have chosen elsewhere

Luz branca, prefiro a amarela... Mas é questão de gosto... O banheiro ainda é de bidet e a banheira um pouco estreita para banho de chuveiro, mas nada grave.

El precio es un poco alto pero como en cualquier sitio de la Patagonia. Por poner un pero: me hice un masaje descontracturante y casi me dejaron peor de como estaba.

The restaurant serves nice food although the restaurant setting is a little odd. Breakfast is simple but nice with extra touches during Semana Santa when we were there. We had packed lunches to visit the glacier which were tasty. The location of the hotel in El Calafate is great.
The location of the restaurant is essentially in the hotel bar which isn't quite what I was expecting. That said, the service and food were good.

It was really good, one suggestion would be around the sockets and lighting - there needs to be more of both, plus a light switch as you walk in the room.

Ночью с 3 утра был громкий шум, мы не смогли определить его источник, но спать было не комфортно

The bathroom in particular is in need of renovation and better upkeep. Breakfast offered a very limited selection of food. Considering what the hotel provides, the price felt too high. Dogs bark in this town so with the windows open, you need ear plugs. But that would be the case with any hotel in town. There are stray dogs (but nice and well fed) all over town.
