Santa Katerina Apartments & Studios

Everything we needed for our 5 night stay, plenty cupboard space and even a washing machine. Host was very welcoming and responsive to any questions asked, even had a welcome gift. Great location for getting the bus and walking into the town. Room cleaning service everyday, honestly nothing to fault, loved our stay.

Nothing to fault

Complimenti

Nulla

Spacious little apartment, all that you need, 5 min walk from the beach, friendly hosts, room service, cute little outdoor area, everything was perfect

Great location, 5mins to beach, restaurants and shops. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Host was very welcoming

It was a short walk to beach, grocery stores and restaurants.

Noisy at times - Vespas and motor bikes. We shut the green wood shutters and did not hear it anymore.

Loved this property! Super affordable and the host was so lovely! It’s was absolutely adorable, clean, and a super close walk to everything, would absolutely book again!

Because we were on the bottom floor, we didn’t have a window directly into our room so our laundry took 2-4 days to dry. Not anyone’s fault, it was just annoying for us.

The stay at this place was amazing, Vagelis (Host) met us when we arrived and had Wine, cake and stacks in each of our rooms. The rooms were incredible each having its own character. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the Marina. Vangelis was always there to help with local knowledge as well as anything we needed during our stay.

Lovely apartment and a small balcony with seating. Host was friendly and informative. Amenities provided - slippers, towels, shampoos, snacks, water etc. has washing line with pegs on balcony. About 15 mins walk away to town and waterfront.

Not very communicative prior to arrival. Mosquito netting by the balcony door would be great - got bitten several times at night. Mattresses not super comfortable. Has washing machine but no amenities provided for this.

Rien

Being close to the street, it was a bit loud. 10-12 minute walk to town. The bathroom doesn't have much counter space, but it seems thats normal in Europe. Luxury and comfort are judged diffrently. Great host and very accommodating.

Naxos is a wonderful island; make sure you rent a car and explore the whole island. Much better than Zakinthos.

Absolut totul.

Cu siguranță nimic.

Nice spacious

The property was great, close to the beach, city centre and many restaurants. The host was very welcoming and accommodating.

The host Vegalis was so helpful, went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, The apartment was lovely, close to all amenities and beach. Vegalis you are the perfect host, such a kind caring person thankyou, Henry and Belinda.

We could not think of a single thing, excellent comfortable stay.

The communication with Vagelis was easy and friendly. The apartment was a good size, had A/C, and was well-equipped for everything you need for day to day living. The daily housekeeping was fantastic. Internet was strong and reliable. No complaints.

Cleaning and comfortable place

Noise coming from the street

The host was so friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Loved sitting on the balcony and having my morning coffee

Rien

Excellent clean rooms with a fantastic rooftop terrace. The room came with a washing machine and excellent kitchen favourites The staff were so kind and friendly. A pleasure to stay in and so close to the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Naxos town

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Location was great . Close to the beach and the city center. Easy access to the bus Everything was great

Nothing to dislike

The owner and housekeeper were fabulous. They were accommodating in any way they could. Perfect central location with a Grecian flair.

Just no elevator so if you’re able to do stairs then perfect.

Nice size and loved the little balcony that we had for top floor.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The location was perfect, close to everything in the island and walking distance to the beach. When our ferry got cancelled and we couldn’t leave the island Vagelis was very helpful and allowed us to stay an extra night.

The property was amazing, this is definitely the place I would come back to. The owner is friendly and makes you feel right at home. Our room had everything we might need, from cooking to laundry. The cleaning lady was kind and lovely. The location is perfect, as it is quiet enough but everything is close by. The closest beach is great, the water is shallow at first, but there is plenty of depth as well, so both experienced swimmers and children can enjoy the water. The property can provide beach towels if needed and the owner is very responsive. The beds are super comfortable and the welcome basket was amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience. This place will give you the best value for your money!

Nothing

Beautifully presented. Excellent host. Great location - couldn’t recommend enough. So welcoming with a cake and basket. Liked the beds despite the other reviews!

Nothing

I received a beautiful specious apartment, well equipped and in a great location.

Nothing

Very nice apartment, close to everything, 15 minutes walk from the ferry. Stayed on the second floor with morning sun. Well equipped, and my room was newly refurbished. Vagelis was a very helpful and nice host! Highly recommended!

we loved the location and the layout, very well equipped.the staff were friendly and helpful

we loved everything

Very cute, comfortable apartment. Compact - bathroom small (but owner is planning a renovation). Lovely private outdoor area, with table and chairs. Great location, easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Rubbish emptied regularly and fresh linen/towels. Owner very friendly, baked us a cake!

Kitchen area has minimal bench space if wanting to prepare meals and no microwave for reheating. Bed mattress quite firm.

The room was perfect for one, had a balcony and restaurants and shopping close by. The beach was close, a bit of a walk, but not too far. The rooms were spotless and i would stay there again if solo. I didnt see bigger accomodations there but i am sure they were of same quality.

The property was so beautiful and very well decorated! The host was attentive and has created the most perfect place to stay in Naxos! Conveniently located and just wonderful!

Nothing- everything was perfect!

No Breakfast as we hired an “Apartment “

The misunderstanding/denial/ responsibility between booking.com and the owner of the apartments needs to be addressed. The apartment was VERY small. Considering Three of us are 6ft and over, Couldn’t swing a cat! The owner Vagelis did show my husband his website which was completely different to the booking.com website. There by you can actually choose your apartment! I like to cook but the kitchen was not fully equipped…..if you have an oven surely there should be a tray? If Naxos potatoes are so famous….where is the sharp knife or peeler? We paid a lot of money for an apartment so we could chill out on our holiday yet felt like we couldn’t relax The hair dryer didn’t work in the main bedroom ( Had to share with my two daughters in their room, JAYSUS THIS IS WHY I PAY THE MONEY) or the main light, the air con machine was broke so we had to freeze or roast! The washing machine was in a box on the balcony 🙄 and to top it all off the heavy glass lampshades over the dining table each of us banged our heads so often we had to re-arrange furniture. Speaking of furniture…..there was none! We hired an apartment thinking it would be a home from home……We literally had Sofa envy walking past Hotels.

Firstly the owner is a wonderful host, there is a beautiful cake and wine upon arrival. The apartment is a great size, very clean, it has all the facilities you need, serviced daily and it has excellent air conditioning. The location was fantastic. A short walk to the beach, with bars, restaurants and facilities, it was close to supermarkets, car hire and a very short walk into Chora. Its well located between the beach and the Chora. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Santa Katerina apartments.

Nothing

Location was great and the host was very nice and friendly. They left us nice cake as welcoming in the room.

Great location a few blocks from the beach and town, wonderful staff, clean and comfy.

We didnt get the apartment we booked and had photos of. We were supposed to have an apartment on first floor with balcony but were but in the basement. No big deal though.

The property was clean and neat and had all the required facilities. Very well situated in the town with easy access to places to go to in Chora.

One room has a very small bed- not big enough for two.

Close to the beach and clean

Nothing

The location was excellent. Easy to walk to restaurants, supermarket, marina.

would have been nice to have a washing machine

Excellent location, lovely host. The room and facilities were so good.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Plenty of room

Vasely is a fabulous host. Welcomed us with a bottle of wine and bread. Even though it was the Easter weekend, Vasely was present to check us in, make us comfortable and answered all our questions. The apartment itself is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything one needs. The beds were comfortable. The apartment is tastefully decorated. Having 2 Bedrooms was great to sleep comfortably for a family. Overall highly recommend Santa Katerina apartments for families.

If any, the noise from the cars passing by is a bit loud in the front bedroom.

Fabulous studio with all you can need.

Very comfortable accommodation with a balcony and excellent air conditioning and daily servicing. Very close to the local beach (5 minute walk max)with many beach bars as well as to a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and small supermarkets. Free car park just around the corner. Great communication with the owner.

The apartment was perfect and was a highlight of our trip to Naxos. It was spacious, comfortable and was cleaned everyday. The location was near some of the best restaurants in Naxos and also a short walk to a really nice beach. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Naxos.

There isn't really anything we didn't like about our stay here.

A wonderful stay at Santa Katerina Apartments. The owner Vangelis is the best! Very kind and helpful, see my husband’s review on Google!

Wonderful helpful host fresh baked cake and wine on arrival ( my son said best cake he ever had !) Very clean lots of room great facilities great location

…. Nothing

Really cute apartment and very central location, it was also much bigger than we expected! And we loved the welcome wine and cake! :-)

Really nice host, very helpful. He gave us parasols (left over from prior guests) to use. The 2-bedroom suite on the ground floor was very baby friendly with a cot and a high-chair. Only 5 steps to get into it with the stroller. Great location close to the local beach, town center and also the bus stop to take you to other beaches. Exceptional daily room service, fresh cake as soon as you eat the existing one :)

The bathroom door does not have a normal knob and you need to slam it in order to close it which wakes up the rest of the household at night. Also difficult to pull open from the inside since no door knob. Really a minor issue overall, everything else was amazing. Warning about Naxos in general: cold sea water, very windy, pricey compared to the mainland but likely average for the islands. Be prepared to pay 30e for two sunbeds in September. The beach closest to the apartment (Agios Georgios) is not particularly nice- wet sand, shallow water with waves for about 50-100m which as a result does not have a nice blue color and is not crystal clear. For a nicer beach close by try Petrino taverna in Plaka beach.

The host was amazing! the location is also very good and the apartment was very comfortable. The place was clean and very nice.

a bit too noisy.

Clean, good amount of storage and enough room for 2 people, welcomed with a bottle of wine and delicious homemade cake

Bed was hard

Between us we had a basement 2 bedroom apartment and a rooftop studio and we were happy with both. The rooms were clean and comfortable and stylishly decorated. Vangelis was a marvellous host. The location was brilliant, just a few minutes walk to Agios Georgios beach one way and the town & waterfront the other.

It is purely a personal preference but the bed I had was like sleeping on a rock and I did not get one decent night’s sleep as a result.

Friendly staff, daily room clean, freebies, great location to be close to the centre and beach

I couldn’t think of anything that I don’t like!

The location was a 5 minute walk from a grocery store, coffee shop, bakery, and the beach. Near a residential area, not too close to all the hustle and bustle. If we wanted to look at the shops or go for dinner, they are only a few minutes walk away, and if you want to rent a car or buggy, the rental shops are also just a two minute walk from the apartment. The full kitchen is very convenient for cooking breakfast or anything you want. We were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket full of local treats and a bottle of wine. The apartment is spotless and the newly remodelled bathroom is beautiful. We also loved the decor of the apartment. There is a nice fireplace too if you were to stay there in the winter.

Good location close to beach and 10 min walk to old town Naxos. Clean and well eqipped apartment. Welcome gift with cake, vine and water melon.

We had apartment in the basement with no view or terrace, although there was a outdoor area "down under". Some noise from the street at night.

The apartament/building is in perfect location, we had fresh towels everyday, the cleaning was spot on and the welcome basket with homemade gem and cake was the cherry on top. We couldn't love this rental or the host more. Would definitely recommend it.

.

Very close to the main square and beach. Great facilities and a nice balcony. The area felt safe and we were comfortable coming and going throughout the day.

Very close to Chora. I liked the hospitality and friendliness. Vangelis brought us a cake every day!. Nice apartment very comfortable.

N/A

Very comfortable, Perfectly placed cosy hotel for us . Near beach, town and amazing super market Vegeris the owner very friendly couldn’t do enough. Would stay there again.

We liked the location as it was a close walk to the beach, free parking, grocery stores, restaurants, and we walked into town each night. Vagelis the man who runs/owns the property bakes desserts for guests! Very nice man. Very attentive to your needs.

Nothing

Nice welcome! Georgios beach is close even if it is not the best beach

it is a small apartment. the pictures were taken in a way that it looks bigger.

My stay at Santa Katerina Apartments on Naxos was nothing short of perfect. This gem of a property, nestled near the idyllic beach and a conveniently large parking lot, far exceeded my expectations. The apartment itself was a sanctuary of comfort, style, and cleanliness. It was thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with everything a guest could require. Every corner was meticulously cared for, reflecting the high standards of the property. This delightful abode easily earned a 10/10 rating from me. The real treasure of Santa Katerina, however, is the owner, Vangelis. His extraordinary hospitality made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a bounty of delightful gifts, including a delicious homemade cake that was truly the epitome of Greek gastronomy. His warmth and commitment to ensuring our comfort were so beyond the norm that if I could, I would rate his hospitality an 11! Santa Katerina Apartments truly embodies the ethos of Greek hospitality or 'filoxenia'. The proximity to the beach, coupled with the tranquility and comfort of the apartment, offers a perfect blend for a serene vacation. In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly recommend Santa Katerina Apartments to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay on Naxos. With its impeccable apartments and an owner who treats you like family, you are guaranteed to have a holiday that you will cherish forever.

This place was absolutely exceptional! Vagelis was an amazing host, helping us coordinate our rental cars, giving us recommendations, etc. We traveled with several families with kids and he was kind enough to put us close together. The apartments were clean, comfortable and well stocked and even had welcome baskets with wine and baked goods! The location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and center of town with a grocery store and bakery steps away. If this place is available for your stay, stop looking elsewhere because you won’t find anything better.

Nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect.

This is a gem! Room was spacious, spotless, lots of light. The kitchen is handy and you can find all you need there. The terrace is amazing and a great place to enjoy a glass in the evening or breakfast in the morning. The staff is super friendly and the apartment is right next to the beach. We could not ask for more, thanks a lot! We hope to go back there!

I scrape my head but really cannot find anything we disliked there.

easy access to beach, restaurants and port

nothing

Friendly host, had cake and wine for our arrival even if we were late! Helped with information and directions may times.

We loved everything . The location is just perfect . In the area of the main Hora of the island but also next to the police station and free city parking one block away plus walking distance from a beautiful beach of Agios GEORGIOS The host Vangelis is a very professional and carrying person. He welcomed is with a bottle of wine and a cake . The apartment very specious amd super beautiful The mattresses are amazing to sleep on 2 tvs in the apt 2 air-conditioning units Plenty of space Coffee machine and everything u need to Live even permanently in the apt. A nice terrace The cleaning ladies where cleaning every day We have no words about the hospitality Thank you Vangeli

There is nothing to not like

Ideally located, c.15minutes to town centre and with free public carparking nearby and easy access to roads leaving the town to rest of the island

smallness of bathroom: very tight space between toilet and shower
