Ants in the toilet, receptionists don’t listen for the ants complain just wants close the line, only one bar tender for the whole beach and he is also the waiter

Paying attention to details, beside the whole wonderful experience, the details added , for instance the sunblock, tanning oil, and cooling gel on the pool, and the water tank. The staff is careful about allergies which goes a really long way. the breakfast was amazing, the staff , the quality of the ingredients. Ruhige Lage mit extrem viel Platz .

Ein Late Checkout ( nur 2 Stunden mehr ) war sehr schweer zu bekommen . Es wurde zweimal abgeleht da das Hotel angeblich ausgebucht war. Erst beim drittenmal - mit Rücksprache mit dem Manager wurde der Late-checkout ( gegen Gebühr natürlich ) genehmigt .

The staff was beyond by the pool and restaurant. The spaciousness in the suites. Perfect place to go and relax for a few days and stay exclusive at the property. We did do a boat excursion one afternoon you should note the marina is 45 minutes away. The breakfast was classic Oberoi style, one of our favorites. We prefer the beach but this pool was magnificent.

The rooms could use a little refresh regarding adapters by the bedside. The gym could use some updated mats.

The food was outstanding The views were really un obstructed and beautiful Only down side from my point view was the existence of jelly fish that was harmless but felt uncomfortable to swim near . The proximity to everything was so convenient The entertainment on each night was also very well thought of and very delightful. The chef was more than accommodating And always welcoming and caring.

Need to have a fan at indoor terrace and have the fabric of sun beds cleaned.

Third time visiting the resort and this time we went for the grand suite with the pool; the perfect choice! Pool was spacious for a couple, room's decor always lovely, and the staff is as friendly and welcoming as ever :) Snorkeling by the reef was also so much fun, I highly recommend it!

The view , relaxation ,the room was super & clean . The stuff was literally amazing and very professional and friendly specially abdel sattar and Khalil in the main restaurant and the pool life guards was so helpful and in the beach there was Moamen and abbas was very very helpful and professional , they all made our vacation .

This was our second visit to The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh, and this time I travelled with my wife, parents and our young son. The property holds a special place for our family, particularly because it is one of the few resorts in Egypt offering high-quality vegetarian Indian food—and once again, it did not disappoint. The people are undoubtedly the greatest strength of this property. The entire team goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Mr. Maher Sadek, who heads the Rooms Division, is a highly experienced and professional hotelier. He personally ensured that our stay was comfortable and that the special requirements of my parents were attended to on priority. Madeeh, Masoud, Magdy and several other team members were consistently courteous, attentive and helpful, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. Food was one of the major highlights of our visit. The culinary team led by Head Chef Pappu Singh is phenomenal. The Indian food was authentic and comparable to what one would expect at a high-quality restaurant in India. Chef Shevendu and Chef Chandra also took exceptional care in accommodating the dietary requirements of my parents and preparing suitable meals for our son. This level of personal attention made a significant difference to our overall experience. The resort itself has a peaceful atmosphere, spacious surroundings and a beautiful house reef. However, some parts of the property would benefit from refurbishment, particularly the furniture in the rooms and restaurant areas, which now feels somewhat dated. We also noticed some plastic waste while snorkelling at the house reef, which was disappointing for a property of this standard and should be addressed through more frequent reef and shoreline cleaning. Overall, we had a wonderful family stay, driven largely by the exceptional service and outstanding food. With some investment in refurbishment and greater attention to environmental cleanliness around the reef, the property can further strengthen its position as one of the most distinctive luxury resorts in the Red Sea.

Everything was amazing, the stay here was the highlight of our Honeymoon. Suite and private pool were awesome and everything was clean and fresh. Food in the restaurant was more than awesome and the hospitality was beyond my expectations. The staff are super friendly. Wer seine Ruhe ohne viel Animation oder Massentourismus sucht, hat es in Hurghada grundsätzlich schwer. Doch dieses Hotel bietet genau dass, einfach mal abschalten, die Ruhe genießen und chillen. Der Transport mit den Golfcars funktioniert reibungslos, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und nicht nervig mit Trinkgeld-schnorren. Auf Kritik wird schnell eingegangen und professionell behoben. Der Pool ist sauber und nicht zu kalt aber auch nicht zu warm. Schöne Panorama Aussicht auf das Meer vom Pool aus. Das Hausriff war ok, schöne Korallen und Fische aber unbedingt mindestens einen Schnorchelausflug mieten !! Die Zimmer sind von Inventar her in die Jahre gekommen, man merkt aber dass sich über die Jahre drum gekümmert wurde. Das Bett ist eher hart, bekamm aber auf Anfrage ne Auflage um es weicher zu machen. Eigentlich das Großes Problem war dass das Polster von den Stühlen&co sehr dreckig waren. Im Zimmer oder im Restaurant hat es schon seinen negativen Eindruck hinterlassen. Einmal war ein Stuhl so verschmutzt dass wir etwas sagen mussten, es wurde uns dann immer eine Serviette auf die Stühle gelegt xD Allgemein kein authentisches Oberoi Erlebniss. Wer Oberoi-Standarts sucht/kennt der wird hier klar enttäuscht sein, denn Oberoi hat eigentlich hochwertiges Inventar welches sehr gepflegt ist und schreit nach quiet luxury mit ihren impressionanten Gebäuden&der Service. Versteht mich nicht falsch, dieses ist ein tolles Hotel, mit gutem Personal und schöner Aussicht, riesigen Zimmern, schöne Gebäude, frischen Blumen, a la carte abend-essen usw. Welches schon recht nice ist aber halt nicht an den oberoi hype rankommt. Ich würde es z.B für etwas weniger Geld nochmal buchen. Einfach um runterzukommen. 7,5/10 , würde es nicht Oberoi heißen dann 8,5/10

1- Quality & Quantity of the food are very weak 2- Everything is an extra charge; why give me a receipt? Is this intended to force a tip? 3- Toilets' paper tissue is appearing one by one????????? 4- I was spending the honeymoon there, and we went on a date by the water. I didn't pay more because it wasn't worth it to give money to a place like this, and I have already paid half board. 5- Since our first arrival, they have been offering us "Roselle and cookies" ??????!!!!!!!! No lemonade, no cola, that will make the hotel pay 10 EGP. 6- I left the hotel earlier because we were hungry.

We had a fantastic stay at Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh thanks to the wonderful service and staff. They genuinely cared about our experience. A special thank you to: Chef Pappu and Mr Hazem who ensured we were well looked after at meal times and regularly checked in on us. The food offerings were extensive in variety and delicious in taste. Mr Maher who again regularly checked in on us to ensure everything was okay with our stay and our room. The property and grounds are beautiful. The interiors are desperately in need of refurbishment, especially the rooms and gym/ spa area. The pool area could also do with more sun loungers. If management/ owners considered investing in a refurbishment, the hotel has the potential to the best in the region, especially due to the wonderful hospitality.

10/10 – The Staff Made This Holiday The simple stuff: this is a stunning resort with plenty of activities included, and really high quality food (none of it feels like all you can eat slop), which delivers a really elevated and sophisticated holiday The main reason for the 10/10 rating is the people. A huge thank you to Chef Pappu Singh, Hazem, and Chef Chandra, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. They even helped with my pregnant wife's off-menu cravings, which meant a lot to us. We have stayed at Oberoi hotels before, but this trip has definitely made us even more loyal to the brand. The resort itself is beautiful, with plenty to do and a fantastic setting, but it was the staff who made the difference. Without them this would have been a very good holiday; because of them it became a memorable one. A few people we wanted to mention in particular: • Chef Pappu Singh – Truly cared about our experience and made us feel very special. • Hazem – Always smiling, always helpful, and constantly making sure we were looked after. Somehow able to predict exactly what we wanted before we asked. • Bassant – Went out of her way to help us find movie timings in a country we were unfamiliar with. • Masoud – One of the kindest servers we have met. He has a natural ability to make guests feel looked after. • Makarios – The diving instructor who made sure my wife, who loves the water but cannot swim, was still able to enjoy snorkelling by personally taking her out on a float. It ended up being one of the highlights of her trip. Everyone we met was excellent, and these are just a few names that stood out. The whole team made us feel completely at home. We only left the resort once during our stay, and couldn't wait to get back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely be back!

El hotel es impecable y el servicio también; vale 100 % la pena el precio. Recomiendo contratar el paquete de bebidas y comidas, ya que todo lo que queda fuera del régimen tiene un coste bastante elevado. La playa, la piscina y las habitaciones son muy bonitas y están muy bien cuidadas. Los restaurantes están muy orientados a la cocina india y arabe, por lo que la variedad de otras opciones internacionales es algo limitada pero no fue un problema.

We went on a family vacation and stayed at the Oberoi for 2 nights between our Nile River Cruise and going back home. It was exactly what we needed to relax and refresh before our long journey home. The resort is beautiful and the service is amazing. We loved walking on the beach, playing in the pool, and sipping cocktails while watching the sunset.

The views are magnificent , you can see the sea from anywhere in the hotel. The hotel is big however the number of units are limited so you don’t feel any crowds even if the hotel is full. We stayed in suites 306-309 .The suites are spacious and well maintained. You can find anything you need. The staff is very helpful and professional, they make sure you have a pleasant stay starting from the reception, the F&B , the pool , the beach , the bell men , the housekeeping. Special thanks to Ramy, Abanoub, hazem, khalil, haggag, makarious and all of these amazing people.

However the quality of the food is okay, it needs to be more variable. The staff number needs to be increased specially in high seasons.

The concept with this nice bungalow-suites instead hotelrooms is lovely and relaxing. Hotel service was always extraordinary and gave us an unforgettable time and feelings. One of the best hotels in Egypt. Everything about our stay was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was very good quality. The private pool was beyond amazing, completely private, spacious, and surrounded by a beautiful seating area. The suite itself was excellent, and having a coffee machine in the room was such a nice touch. Overall, an unforgettable stay and we would definitely come back again.

The resort itself has ample facilities onsite, with great snorkelling and diving options that make the most of the stunning Red Sea location. The food throughout our stay was excellent, and the à la carte dinner experience each evening felt classy, peaceful, and genuinely enjoyable. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A special mention to the manager, Maher, who was always on hand whenever needed. We are currently staying at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh and still have two wonderful days of our holiday left, but I felt I had to write this review already because our experience has been so exceptional. From the moment we arrived late in the evening, we knew this hotel was something special. After a long journey travelling with children, we were welcomed so warmly, and a beautifully prepared dinner had been arranged for us in our villa. It was such a thoughtful and generous touch that immediately made us feel relaxed and cared for. Our villa and rooms were absolutely stunning — spacious, spotless, luxurious, and incredibly peaceful. The suites are huge, beautifully designed, and offer such privacy, which made it perfect for our family. Every detail was immaculate, and the housekeeping was exceptional throughout. The hotel grounds are simply breathtaking. Everything is maintained to perfection — the gardens, the pools, the pathways, the beach — it genuinely feels like paradise. The Red Sea here is unbelievably beautiful, and the coral reef is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Snorkelling here has been one of the highlights of our trip and something our family will never forget. What truly makes this hotel extraordinary, though, is the people. Every single member of staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay special. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care have made all the difference. We have just returned home after spending a week at the Oberoi Beqch resort to celebrate our anniversary, a stay that exceeded our expectations in every way, from the moment we arrived until the time of our departure. A special thank you here to Maher at the front desk. With just 100 suites and a beautiful seafront location, this hotel was all we could have asked for and more. Waking up to stunning ocean views and being just steps from the beach made the entire experience even more special. Staff members were warm, professional and always willing to help. In early May, my wife and I spent an unforgettable vacation at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh. To start with a few "clichés" you’ve likely seen in other reviews: the grounds are vast and impeccably manicured, the cuisine is excellent and diverse, and the sea is stunning (though swimming is limited ). The Arabian-style villas offer absolute privacy and—if you opt for this category—a large private pool, heated during the cooler months. It truly provides a wonderful "room for imagination" for couples. ;) The hotel is about 25 years old, and while its age is noticeable in certain details, it becomes entirely irrelevant the moment you immerse yourself in the warm and caring atmosphere. This exceptional environment and world-class service are a testament to the hotel management, particularly Mr. Maher Sadek Mohamed. He is one of those rare top managers who truly inspired me to finally write a review, despite our recent stays at luxury resorts in Vietnam and Sri Lanka. Maher Sadek surrounded us with daily care and became a true friend. It is thanks to his leadership that the staff shatters every stereotype—not only about vacationing in Egypt but about the very definition of high-quality service. The service is prompt yet completely unobtrusive: you receive exactly what you need in the shortest time possible, after which the staff literally "vanishes." There isn't even a hint of the "tip-seeking" culture found in many other Egyptian hotels. As we were checking out, the receptionist asked, "Will you come back again?" Our answer: "Without a doubt. See you next May!"

Our stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every member of the team — from the front desk to housekeeping and dining — delivered exceptional service that made our experience truly unforgettable. We chose this beautiful hotel to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and it’s a decision we will always hold close to our hearts. A special thank you goes to the General Manager, Ahmed Nagy, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He personally checked in with us several times via email throughout our visit, which added such a thoughtful and personal touch. We would also like to thank Mr Maher from the management team, who was warm, professional, and incredibly generous with his time. His recommendations for our trip to Sheraton Road were excellent and greatly appreciated. The front-of-house team — Omar, Gameel, Seif, and Bessant — made both our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free. Check-in and check-out were handled quickly and efficiently, and they took the time to explain all the resort’s facilities and complimentary activities, including cooking classes, camel rides, and henna sessions, which added a unique and memorable touch to our stay. The beach and pool facilities were truly exceptional. Everything was consistently spotless, and the heated pool made swimming enjoyable at any time of day. It was also spacious enough to comfortably swim lengths without interruption, which we really appreciated. What stood out most was the incredible service from the pool staff, especially Amr and Moumin. They were attentive, proactive, and always ensured guests were comfortable and well hydrated. Moumin, in particular, deserves special recognition for going above and beyond while assisting my wife during a snorkeling session. As someone who isn’t fully confident in open water, she felt completely safe thanks to his patience, support, and guidance. He even accompanied her out to the reef, turning it into a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The beach team — Nasser, Ali, Karim, and Bakry — were another highlight of our stay. They were consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They encouraged us to take part in activities like boxing and racket ball, adding a fun and engaging element to our time by the sea. Service was seamless throughout, with fresh towels and preferred sunbeds always readily available. Thanks to their attentiveness and genuine hospitality, we truly felt like VIPs. The rooms and accommodation were equally impressive and thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy. The pillow menu was a fantastic touch, especially as I prefer a firmer memory foam option, and it made a noticeable difference to the quality of sleep. Opting for a private pool is absolutely worth it, as it adds an extra level of luxury and seclusion to the experience. The bathrooms were also exceptional, with powerful showers that were always a pleasure to use. Housekeeping was impeccable, with service provided twice daily. Reffat and Mahmoud consistently ensured our room was spotless, well stocked, and welcoming. What really stood out were the small, thoughtful touches they added each day, which genuinely made a difference. The in-room Nespresso machine was also a lovely bonus and perfect for a relaxing start to the morning. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Every breakfast and mealtime was a genuine pleasure, and the culinary experience exceeded all expectations. A very special thank you goes to the Head Chef, Pappu, whose talent and attention to detail were exceptional. He consistently went above and beyond to tailor meals to our personal tastes and dietary preferences, always ensuring everything was prepared perfectly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his warm hospitality truly made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. We were also incredibly fortunate to be looked after by Eyad during meal services. His attentiveness, kindness, and thoughtful nature made every dining experience feel special. He consistently anticipated our needs and always ensured we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Another special mention goes to Abendoub, who oversees the dining experience at the resort. He leads a truly fantastic team and was always approachable, knowledgeable, and happy to chat with us. His presence and attention to guests played a huge part in making our stay feel so personal and memorable. We would also like to thank Kamal for the courtesy and professionalism he showed us throughout our meals. We had a few specific dietary requirements during our stay, and he handled everything effortlessly, ensuring every request was noted and accommodated seamlessly. Overall, our experience at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh was exceptional in every way. The attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and consistently high standards make this a place we would highly recommend and one we look forward to returning to in the future.

Marvellous Location with private Beach at the red sea. The Facility is georgeous and the Royal suites are stunning! The Service is great and the staff tries everything to make you happy and make the stay at the Oberoi a wonderful experience!

Bémol sur l’isolation des chambres, on entend beaucoup les voisins et la télé. 1 Plongée à 80€ sans bateau! Alors qu’à deux Hotel à côté les sorties bateaux pour deux plongée et repas compris sont à 62 € Prix du Taxi exorbitant à 75 $ alors que nous avons payé à peine dix euros en appelant un Taxi sur Internet C’est un hôtel qui mériterait d’être pour les adultes uniquement, et avec un agrandissement des parties communes. En effet, nous avons eu trois jours de vent à 60 km heures, baignade, impossible et interdites, alors qu’on pouvait se baigner dans les autres hôtels du Hurghada qui étaient à l’abri, et donc les gens s’agglutinant à la piscine au restaurant avec les enfants, or l’espace autour de la piscine est petite, la salle de restaurant est petite. La salle de sport est petite tout est un peu petit. Résultats, je ne me suis pas senti très bien dans cet hôtel alors que il pourrait être très bien

Amazing hotel and perfect hospitality

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh. Le cadre est splendide, calme et très élégant. Le personnel est exceptionnel : toujours souriant, attentionné et professionnel. Nous avions la formule petit déjeuner et dîner, et tout était excellent : cuisine variée, savoureuse et de grande qualité. Les suites sont confortables et l’ensemble de l’hôtel invite vraiment à la détente.

Quelques détails mineurs : les lits peuvent être légèrement grinçants et l’équipement audiovisuel (télévision) mériterait d’être modernisé. Rien qui n’altère réellement la qualité du séjour.

Very nice hotel. Nice location with a private beach, about thirty minutes south of Hurghada. Staff are exceptional, especially the food and beverage team. Hotel building is quite compact and the resort is actually made up of villas. Happy we stayed here and not in hurghada which appeared jam packed with back to back resorts the size of small towns.

If you don't buy the drinks package, you will likely be looking at a pricey bill for drinks. The individual prices for food and drink are expensive, so you need to really be on half board at least if you stay for longer than a few days.

Personal ist äusserst höflich und zuvorkommend. Alle machbaren Wünsche werden erfüllt. Housekeeping auch sehr nett, nur das richtige Putzen, wie z. B. Boden und Badezimmer, kommt ein bisschen zu kurz.

WLAN ist nicht sehr stabil ausserhalb des Zimmers. Resort liegt sehr ausserhalb, immer Fahrer notwendig, um wegzukommen. Man kann Nachbarsuite gut hören, man könnte Verteilung der Suiten anders gestalten, da nicht alle besetzt sind.

Excellent Hôtel de luxe pour séjourner à Hurgada! De belles chambres, une cuisine raffinée et excellente (même si le service est parfois long) on conseille fortement la pension complète. Le ponton donne directement accès à une barrière de corail magnifique pour Snorkeling. On a même fait de la plongée avec le centre sur place. Un sans faute avec un personnel aux petits soins. Merci à toute l’équipe en particulier à Abanoub pour sa sympathie. On recommande!

Restaurant excellent! Mais parfois service un peu long, on s’y habitue car la nourriture est top!

The property is very nice, the suites are wonderful, each has ots own very pleasant terrace which we used a lot. The staff is exceptionally professional, all service is top class. Also the dining is excellent. Great diving center on site, also very professional and experienced.

The property would benefit from a renovation.
